Reviews of House of Wisdom

The best studio for all things spiral. A wide range of meditation and yoga classes. The Wednesday kundalini yoga class is truly amazing and needs to be attended. It’s good for the soul, quite literally. All the instructors are highly knowledgeable in their specific field and will guide you every step of the way. This place has helped me so much transitioning out of lockdown and strengthening my mental health.

Beautiful space, most wonderful staff and teachers. Very dreamy spot in the middle of chaotic London. I have very bad asthma and the staff has been so so kind and accommodating.

What an amazing, magical, beautiful place!!! HOW is an oasis in the middle of our busy buzzy city. Instantly you feel at home, the positive energy flow is very powerful. The different disciplines offered here are perfectly teach and show by an extraordinary group of individuals with a great knowledge on every class delivered. I love HOW!!!

House of Wisdom is the place you need, before you know you need it...
I stumbled on HoW while just looking for a yoga studio, and found an absolute gem of a space that offered so much more.
The wide range of classes - from differing yoga styles to some incredible sound based meditations, breathwork, shamanic meditation and all the way through to some really inspiring and engaging empowerment sessions - have all been totally eye opening and mind expanding, each delivered by some really talented practitioners.
The wonderful House of Wisdom team have helped make meditation a consistant and rewarding practice for me, and they deliver it in a way that makes it completely accessible to people like me, who was new to it all.
I'm a huge fan and now a regular, and would 100% recommend anyone of any experience level give it a go. You wont regret it!

House of Wisdom (HOW) is my FAVE studio and I go almost every day to do their yoga and sound therapy classes.
They offer something that is completely different to a lot of other studios in the market. The fitness market right now is very saturated with intense HIIT style exercises e.g. Barry's Bootcamp, etc. What HOW offers is a studio that is more focused on mental wellbeing, healing and more restorative-type and spiritual classes. For me personally, I really like the "zen" feel and it is the only place that I can go to to really RELAX. I would describe it as a spa for your mind because that is exactly how I feel after doing their classes.
I have tried pretty much all their classes ranging from yoga to sound therapy to meditation classes. My all-time fave is the Kundalini Yoga class with Jayne Ellis. Her class was the first one I did at HOW and it totally "converted" me because the class wasn't just about physical exercise, it was also about SPIRITUAL HEALING. In the past, I have done yoga classes at other studios and no other class has connected with me on such a deep spiritual level. The sound therapy classes are also amazing. My fave one is the gong baths and I experience the best naps ever whenever I do a sound therapy class. The instructors at HOW are amazing and the team have put in a lot of effort to bring in the best instructors. That's why I'm happy to get the unlimited membership because I know I will get a good experience. They also do special workshops every month e.g. sister singing circle, summer solstice yoga workshop, etc which are a bit pricey but worth it in my opinion.
The team at HOW are soooooo friendly and positive. They made me feel very welcome and you can tell that they are super passionate about the studio. I think the sense of community is much stronger at HOW compared to other studios because you form relationships with the team and the instructors, as well as other class attendees. When I have gone to other studios, I usually just do my class and leave and people don't really talk to you. HOW is so much more friendlier!!!!!!
The facilities are great. It is great how they provide free lockers and refreshments because most studios don't do this. I love how the studio inside has dim coloured lights, the smell of incense and super comfortable props e.g. meditation cushions, blankets, etc. The whole vibe is so soothing, healing and ZEN. Location is also very convenient and central and is easily accessible via Great Portland Street station and Warren Street station.
I have been in London for 5 years now and have tried a variety of exercise classes and gyms and I have to say that HOW is the best one I've tried so far because of their emphasis on spirituality and healing compared to other studios. 100% recommend this to anyone who is looking to try something different and is open to spirituality.

This has to be one of the coolest places in London. From the second I walked in to the building I felt completely at ease. Reception went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and after my class I felt so at peace with everything. I recommend Dan’s sonic sound Journey class on a Sunday. I loved the experience so much the next day I signed up to a monthly membership. A gorgeous safe space to mentally work on yourself and take a moment away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. 10/10

I am grateful more than I can put into words here for the house of wisdom, and the staff team.
I came back into London recently after being in Costa Rica and Miami, where i spent some of my time there working on my spiritual growth. Having the HOW to go to multiple times weekly, since returning, has allowed me to continue on my journey into my spiritual growth and understanding of myself more. The staff team have been awesome, super friendly and supportive.
I have experienced multiple breakthroughs and connected more deeply to myself and my practices during my sessions here.
The value and service they provide is top class.
I have been recommending them to everyone I know!!
Thank you House of Wisdom, feel blessed to have found you guys. Xx

After the last year of lockdown, I really needed to recharge and process a lot of emotions and revelations that had surfaced. I heard about House of Wisdom because there was a Sister Sound Circle event held there. I'm here in London doing a Sound healer training course and I thought the gong and singing bowl classes would be good exposure for me. The house of wisdom has been so much more than that for me. I have been going for about two weeks and I am absolutely stunned at the progress I have been able to make on myself in such a short time. Traumas, grief and unresolved issues from my past have come up and I have felt that this is a safe place to process everything as it surfaces. Sometimes I just fall into a deep relaxation, others I'll sit with the intention to get clarity on my current path and other times I'll see something about myself that I need to work on. Sometimes it's deep sometimes it's light. Sometimes it's mystical other times it's educational. It's interesting but I do feel that if you go to the house of wisdom with the goal of inner change and connecting with the Divine, you really can find the wisdom that is within you. House of wisdom is also a great place to experience the power of sound healing. I'm learning a lot through experience and I am so grateful for the people who started the house of wisdom as well as the amazing staff and teachers who have made it what it is. I have been impressed by the professionalism and the quality of classes offered. The teachers are highly skilled and each one brings a different flavor. The place itself smells good, feels good and looks stunning. I know I live a magical life when of all the places I could have found in London, I made my way into a place that has helped me to feel grounded and reconnect with myself after a long, cold "winter". If you live in London, you are lucky to have such a place. It must be one of a kind in the world and dare I say, we should all fight to protect it.

I first visited House of Wisdom when they launched in August last year.
It's a really calm, welcoming space with a wide range of classes that cater to physical, mental and spiritual needs.
Staff are really warm and welcoming. I especially enjoy arriving early and spending time relaxing in the common area and browsing the items they have for sale and the collection of books for reading.

House of Wisdom is, for me, like a hidden gem or oasis in the heart of London. Amongst London's vibrant and bustling streets, House of Wisdom, is situated on the Euston Road.
House of Wisdom is aesthetically beautiful and has a calming ambiance. The staff team are both welcoming and warm. I instantly felt welcome and safe.
I have attended 3 different classes, so far, and each one has been inspiring and powerful in different ways. The teachers seemed genuinely passionate about people, the welfare of others and giving to people.
I would highly recommend House of Wisdom for anyone who wants to develop their spiritual journey, for anyone who wants a calm and safe place to self reflect and connect with others in a similar manner or for those who are searching for more in life.
