Reviews of lastminute.com London Eye

Fantastic staff and attraction. Very convenient location and easy access. This is a very busy area, but it is well signed and easy to navigate. There are many services on site and you can enjoy the surroundings before and after the ride. The ride itself is fantastic and offers wonderful views of London - especially if you are a picture taker. The pricing is reasonable and you can also bundle with other attractions. We did find this a bit confusing, until we were helped by a friendly staff member. You do have to watch times as they gave us a tight connection to the next attraction - no worries though as there was a wait time there. Well worth the time and cost

The London Eye is the Most amazing experience. It is accessible within walking distance of the Tube stations and the view is absolutely INCREDIBLE!
I have had the privilege of doing this outing on the London Eye a few times and each time is more amazing than the next.
Don't miss out on a few hours to enjoy. The tickets are available on line and make sure to book the fast track pass. Much quicker and easier than the queue.

Amazing views of London especially the views from the top! Completely enjoyed the flight. An iconic attraction that can be enjoyed anytime of year, day or night, any season and in any weather. The capsule was very clean and additional hygiene and safety measures were in place which made me feel safe and I could enjoy the attraction thoroughly. Very friendly and helpful staff too.

It looks beautiful. Due to numbers of high rising building, we will not seen London from top as much you have expected. Westminster, big Ben look awesome from top. It will save more if you buy tickets advanced as it cost 30 pounds each on same day ticket but you will multiple discount offers in online or national rail coupon.

Amazing. The views from the top are really amazing. Can’t say that you can see the whole city but I would say whatever we see is fabulous.
I personally think the views are much better at night, you see lights all around, even the day time is not bad either. It’s just person to person.
I personally loved it at both times, while on other hand the staff is really friendly.
More hygiene can be maintained, but it’s understandable because of amount of people visiting.

A really nice experience in London but maybe slightly overpriced. The views truly are incredible but you do share the pod with others so if you have a large group you might have to be bold and ask other people to move so you can get some good photos. We really enjoyed the visit and the staff were very friendly.

Went on a morning ride and it was quite amazing! I wish that there is a more commentating on what to see or to point at places while we are on the ride but it was quite cool to see everywhere. Some moments it stopped and it was moving very slowly which caused a little discomfort so letting people know that this could happen could be great as well. It wasn’t a very busy day so having less people per pod could be nicer as well. Some people were jumping in the pod that made me feel uneasy so having these rules before could be good as well.

Firstly, I’d really recommend that you buy tickets to this place it’s view is amazing and has lots to offer.
—PRICE—The price is an important thing to talk about as it cost all the 7 of us that went o the ride £205. Which is a crazy lot of money but after all is was really worth it.
—ENTERTAINMENT—
The entertainment was big, of course you have the wonderful view to see all around you but not only that, you also have a speaker that tell you facts and information about the London eye and it’s surroundings. Finally there is also a camera which takes a photo of everyone inside. (You can buy them at the gift shop as you come out)
—WAS IT WORTH IT—
It’s absolutely worth it, even though it was really expensive you can get a lot out of it like I explained. However on a public holiday the queues will be massive and may take you 1hour-30minutes.
But pushing everything to one side and thinking about the bright side, you will have a very memorable experience. :)
Z. L. (.
Crazily crowded on the weekend. I would estimate that I will have to queue like an hour to get on the capsule unless you purchase the VIP ticket? So I gave up and took the river cruise instead and I really enjoyed it! Thus if you also encounter the same problem as me, ride the river cruise and enjoy the scenery with good explanation guide by the crew member.

Great experience. We purchased tickets at the aquarium, went to que after our visit, and was engaged by a friendly employee who led us to the quickest route for getting in a gondola. The views were really nice. We could even see the rides at Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park.
C. H.
Amazing views! Make sure the weather forecast is clear before booking so you get the best view. If it is misty/foggy it’s a bit of a waste of money. Some of we’re worried they would scared because of the height, but that did not seem to be a problem. The pod felt very solid and you can’t feel it moving.
B. B.
Nice view! But could be cheaper, too expansive! And they could put less people in each cabin! I went on Wednesday, and even though there were no queues, they put me, my mother and 8 more people in the same cabin! on a calm day, without queue, with the coronavirus pandemic, why put so many people in the same cabin?
A. W.
The workers here are really observant and made my experience amazing~ I was feeling pretty sad that day and was on the verge of tears. Before getting on the ride, the front person noticed me and pulled me to the side to ask what was wrong. They asked if I was scared of heights or if I needed anything. Even though we had a standard ticket, they put us on a ride where no other parties joined us! I was deeply moved and that honestly made my whole day better :') Thank you for being attentive to your guests <3 it's very much appreciated

Exceptional, I will never forget this experience, simply unforgettable. When I was planning my trip to London I new that I didn’t want to miss on this activity. Now that I’ve been there I know I made the right choice. It was really well organized. I’ll treasure this moment near my heart for the rest of my life.
J. S.
Lovely view from ground level and up in the sky. On a good clear night and london skyline is iconic. Queues look long but in reality staff get you through quick and on to the attraction in minutes. Must see for any local or tourist
M. Z.
We had an experience with boat Thames trip. It was a bit cold (we were there at February), if you want to do beat trip - make sure that you wearing warm clothes and hat, because it’s obviously windy in the water 😁. The lady guide was so lovely. We had fun. For those money not bad experience
T. H.
I last went on the London Eye quite a few years ago & had the worst experience ever....however my husband booked us to go on it for our weekend away, to say I was scared would be an understatement, but I was pleasantly surprised, I was calm & enjoyed every minute of it. We had an evening session & it was raining but that didn't dampen my experience & the views weren't that bad despite the Weather
P. T.
We visited first thing on a Sunday, the wheel opened at 11am and we had upgraded to fast passes so got straight on, staff were helpful and nice, nice to see security present too, would go back as the views were brilliant.
m. k.
Great experience to visit such a place because it cover the whole London and it took around one and a half hour to finish off the crown it was like sitting and enchanting to hold London by your eyes and it was a memorable and a heart taking our experience as clouds for different colours and it was just like a painting and you are a part of it must visit. Train ticket cost around 22 pounds but it is worth spending for a memorable.
D. k. t.
Beautiful view of London can be seen from here..if you are visiting London , it's like must do things.. amazing from here. Get your ticket from online sites, it's better to choose two items from list. E.g. river cruise along with London eye , it will reduce your cost..
E. O.
It was quite a wonderful experience, I must say. The view you get from the ride is magical and enchanting. I was mesmerized by just how much of London I was able to see. The entire wheel and it's surroundings are very picturesque and it is very beautifully designed.
However, after about 40% of the ride, you tend to get tired of it, but it still seems to lag on, but you've already seen everything. Additionally, it's pretty expensive, and even photos taken there cost £25 each - a bit too expensive in my opinion
C. M.
Great views of London! If travelling to London then this is probably one of the most popular attractions. If your scared of heights be warned it is very high lol. It takes approximately 30 minutes from start to finish and it was a great experience. Be warned during peak holiday times the que can be quite long. Options to purchase photos that are taken during the experience are a nice touch. Check it out.
k. m.
I haven't personally Been on the wheel yet. But the nighttime view of the colourful wheel is absolutely FABULOUS. You should not miss the elevation of this beautiful structure against deep blue skies next to the river and big Ben. Must visit when in London!
M. F.
The magnificent bird’s eye view of the city of London was an unforgettable experience. It’s my second time on the London Eye and it felt like the first time. I would like to experience it at night. For anyone visiting London, I would definitely recommend a trip.
G. A.
Amazing view of London, this is a “must do” experience. It’s a great option to buy the multiple attractions tickets, including Madam Trousseau Museum, or others.
R. R.
I took 18 students and two chaperones to the eye in April 2014. We booked tickets online. My complaint was that the management emails you a confirmation up to four hours after you book it, it's not instantly printable.
We arrived, waited in line to have our tickets printed, and got on. The views were amazing. We could see for miles. All 21 of us fit in one capsule. The ride took about an hour in all and the kids loved it. It is a must see.
D. S.
It is said that it has the most spectacular view around London. Due to lack of time we didn't manage to take a ride with it, but even just exploring it and seeing it from the bottom was very exciting and impressive.
If you do want to pay a visit book online a ticket before you go because it gets too overcrowded and the lines are something else and you will have to wait a lot to get up.
R. K. S.
Awsome experience. It is a life time experience . One can experience a visual treat of the London City , illuminated for the festive season, seeing it from 360 degrees. One gets a Bird's eye view.
It is strongly recommended , one should visit at this time , even though , it might have been visited earlier. Worth a second visit.
A.
The London Eye is an iconic tourist attraction and you can see incredible 360 views of London from the London Eye.
We went just before sunset and had some epic sunset views.
A. S.
Great views from top..... make sure you book your tickets in advance. Great for kids and adults alike. At this time of year the ques aren't too bad and the capsule we were in was virtually empty.
J. _.
So happy that we decided to visit London Eye. The sunset was absolutely gorgeous today. We enjoyed the journey (30mins) and took some beautiful pictures too.
It’s a must to do in London and you don’t want to miss it. Recommend. ☺️

You go up .. then come down..
Great experience for first timer in London.
It can get quiet busy. Combo tickets work it cheaper.
F. W.
Located in a spot that has a little bit of everything for everyone; this attraction offered multiple ways to secure a ticket, the staff were very kind, and the line was nice & quick. The cost is a bit much, but I'd overall say it was worth it. The carts were clean, cool, and roomy. You spend quite a few minutes on the ride, so if you're scared of heights and using this to tackle your fear, I'd recommend not doing so.
J. F.
Good views across the city, options for your own private cabin, and a champagne version for special occasions. All participants get the option of a group photo prior to travelling, and can view them after the trip, with an option to purchase if you like them.
Cabins are clean and well maintained. Worth looking out for the photo zones, they are highlighted by a camera and photo zone wording, and are accessed on the final five minutes of the trip.

Took about a million photos! The queue was fast moving, which is great, coz when you see it first, it would put you off going up. I got a booklet thing at the end with our group photo in it, it would have been nice to have this at the start as it pointed out Buckingham Palace and Downing Street etc, I was just randomly taking photos not knowing what I was looking at. Lovely views at sunset. 5000 marriage proposals on the London Eye apparently, there was a couple in our carriage and I was half hoping we would be witness to the 5001st! Sadly no. Next time 🤞😉
g. v.
The experience was really good. Given the British weather it was sunny when we started and then it was pouring from no where.
I advise tickets to be bought in advance if you visit on a weekend or visit with kids.
J. B.
Such a great experience, we went during the week and there weren't a que and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The sights when you are in there are so breathtaking and I would recommend for anyone as it's a great experience. We went on the river cruise after and that also gives you a didn't outlook of London. Would definitely do it again, don't think I would ever get bored of seeing that view.
D.
London eye is famous and most rated tourist destination in London. It's one of the best things to do, to try, to see in London. I can give you advice to buy tickets online(just do booking) you can also buy for good price 2 attractions which is great. It's taking 30 minutes rotation to enjoy the 360 view of London. Amazing place very good experience, I very recommende to come and enjoy.
L. A.
Whether in the bright rays of summer or in the chilling wind of fall, a holiday trip to the London Eye and a cruise on the Thames never go out of style! Lovely experience. I'll recommend it to anyone
E. R.
Just another marvellous piece of London. I would recommend the tour if you are around and it truly does offer some magnificent views all over. This structure offers stellar views from the nearby bridges and it’s certainly one of my favourites in London. The staff were friendly and we had a nice time on the wheels. This sure is an iconic landmark of the city and does live up to the expectations
R. G.
Went on the VIP experience with champagne. Great views, beautiful day for it with the sun shining. Shame the experience was ruined by a group of loud scousers
S. G.
The overall experience was really good, we are merlin pass holders and we were fast tracked through which was unexpected. Although im terrified of heights I stayed seated throughout. It's very smooth as it goes around. I would do it again and hopefully be brave enough to stand.
P. B.
Fantastic experience. Friendly staff and great value for money. The Eye gives you a great view of many of London's amazing attractions with plenty of time to look around and take photos.
C. H.
We paid $45 each to ride the eye for about 15 minutes. Kind of disappointed, i enjoyed riding the water-uber on the thames MUCH better and that was the cost of busfare. I must say i was really impressed with the cleanliness, ease of ticket purchase (they have several kiosks that take credit cards) and the friendliness of the staff. Best advice: take some nice pics in front of the thing but save your money.
c. p.
Visited on Christmas Eve, wasn't too busy and accessed within 10 mins...pods are a good size and plenty of space for 20+ people in each...slow sight seeing ride with plenty of time to take in the sights and take photos 📸 - it was dark when we visited and I'd deffinerly do it again during daylight hours.
K. R.
Stunning views when the weather is good. Quite expensive but a unique experience. You can even do a Yoga session in one of the pods. If you have vertigo or are scared of heights this is not an experience you'll enjoy. Recommended if it is in your budget
M. I.
What a beautiful experience to see the city of London from sky! A must try for once at least as it is pricey.
P.S: try to buy cereals with hidden codes inside the box, you can use them to purchase two tickets but only pay for one. Thank me later 😉
W. N.
We organised this trip using the Merlin Pass. The views were spectacular and the weather was just right. Just remember to stand in the 2 x positions towards the end of the ride to have your pic taken.
O. O.
Such a lovely sight of London from the London eye. The queue was too long though and dnt know what could be done about that. But it was a lovely approx. 40mins in the sky.
J. A.
Wow! What an experience! We booked the V.I.P pub pod and we we had the most magical experience. The view over London at night with all the lights was just stunning. The whole experience was made super special by the staff, especially Arnie De Souza who was unbelievably welcoming, friendly and professional, he made the experience for us! Thanks Arnie!!!
A. M.
The London Eye is an absolute must do while visiting here.
The views from it are really good and the staff serving you drinks and giving you info about the city was on point! It was her birthday and they had everyone sing to her which was really nice as well.
Don't forgot to stop back by to check out the eye at night while it's all lit up!
C. L.
Really enjoyed our evening flight on the Eye. Queue moved quickly, no more than 10 minutes which is great with 3 young kids. Plenty of room to move around the pod, and a bench to take the weight off. Great views all round. Staff were helpful and cheery too. Yes it's quite expensive, look out for 2-for-1 offers; a number of train companies offer them (we used GWR).
K. W.
The views are just amazing. Booked for 2pm got there an hour early, Event staff very obliging allowed us on early, really well organised. Quick moving queue.
D. W.
A nice attraction to either look at or go on if you are visiting London, but I would never go on it myself as I'm scared of heights.
E. C.
For the money it isn't great last about 25 minutes. For kids it is great but for people older than 18 maybe not the best thing to do in London but if you have the time and want to see moat of London within 20 minutes then yes this is a great thing to do would I do it again no but like I said it's a one time thing
E. A.
It's a nice place to visit. You have a chance of seeing the best view from the cabin/capsule. Security is top notch and cleaning of cabin after each trip is superb. You can either book your tickets ahead or get tickets on site.
R. J.
Absolutely great, the place to be , no matter how many times you go, you will always enjoy this wonderful place ,Thames River Westminster, the walk along the path, Never get bored of it, love London ❤️
P. B.
"London Eye" don't know how many times I watched this in movies or documentaries. Today for the first time I visited this tourist attraction. Well I initially thought to go for it the daytime. However, after a ride there in the evening I was simply spellbound by the surrounding London infrastructures in the artificial lights.
A. C.
London's Ferris wheel, called as the London Eye, is a must come in this beautiful city. The city is already beautiful to walk through, but even more beautiful when you have a complete overview of the city.
We arrived around 30 minutes before our ticket appointment. Not a very long queue, it took maximum 15 minutes to get in. Inside there is air conditioning working at full power, we felt safe with all Covid-19 measure taken. All trip is around 30 minutes and you can stay on the bench or stand up.
S. A.
A very beautiful and beautiful place on the River Thames. Riding it was very amazing, and it is best to book tickets online because the demand for it is very high.
L. S.
Have been there few times and staff always super helpful and friendly. This time was with the kids and the enjoy every minute. Worth the money as the viewing was amazing, and you can see London from different directions, nothing else have the same view.
R. T.
Well over priced for a 30 minute view of the river.. nice lights in the dark ,but £97 for 2 adults and 1 child. I'd recommend getting your tickets on line before you go . And not getting ripped off.
M. Ū.
It's a bit pricey, but still worth every penny i quess. Since you can see sweetest spots of London from birds view. It's quite unique experience so i can recommend it!.
J. P.
The Science Museum is still a great place to take the kids but there seems to be an emphasis on old aircraft, space flight and steam technology. An expensive showcase of 21st Century technological and scientific breakthroughs it isn't.
D. N.
Good onetime expereince. Shows breathtaking view of London. Ticket cost for one person around £33
v. s.
Have so many good memories here and the London aquarium is just few yards away. One of my favourite places to go on evening walks.
J. S.
Very nice view from the top. We arrived around 30 minutes before our ticket appointment, but it was no problem. Not a very long queue, in took maximum 15 minutes to get in. Inside air conditioning working at full power, we felt safe with all covid-19 measure taken. All trip is around 30 minutes and you can stay on the bench or stand up.
W. N.
The location is very strategic to view what the city has to offer. It's really amazing. Note that the best views are usually at dusk but that's upto you.
D. B.
Got a clear day so the views were fabulous. Queue to get on were long even with are booked time slot so expect to wait. Airport style security was reassuring but don't turn up with a Swiss Army knife like I did - had to deposit it and pick it up after the ride.
S. N.
Very beautiful view of London. But I especially recommend the river cruise. I enjoyed the view from river Thames with the guided explanation of all the monuments.
A. K.
Great experience. Especially if u r going for the first time, you got to be excited about it.
On a clear day you can see around 40 km of the city for the top.
G. C.
A wonderful tourist attraction let down by an online ticketing service that belongs to when lastminute.com was a rising star, but utterly unfit for the post 2003 era when e-commerce started being done properly.
M. P.
There are a lot of awesome things to do in London which includes visiting the London Eye.The London Eye is one of the most iconic structures easily identified within the vibrant capital city of the United Kingdom.
As the most paid-for attraction, it draws almost 4 million visitors annually. It offers an unobstructed, 360 degrees bird’s eye view of the city laid out below and as far as the eyes can see. Seeing London at a glance is definitely one of the things you should do at least once during your visit.
J. O.
Lovely view of london skyline - was a very good experience as long as the weather is clear and you not afraid of heights.
N. D. g.
Ye it was ok, it is ehat it looks like a big slow moving wheel with some veiws, kids were well underwhelmed
R. M.
I take the fast track and cup of champagne.
2 couple is was amazing. Thanks a lot to Adrianna from the staff
У. Г.
Great place for sightseeing . At night is as good as at daytime but different experience 🙂 more romantic, I think
K. S.
The London Eye, or the Millennium Wheel, is a cantilevered observation wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London. It is Europe's tallest cantilevered observation wheel, and is the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom with over 3 million visitors annually. It has made many appearances in popular culture. #copied
J. F.
No wait on a weekday! The air had poor visibility and the view was still very amazing. Many landmarks are recognizable at all times during the ride. Becomes a nice game where the goal is to identify as many sites as possible
K. S.
Great views over the sky line of London. Can get busy so book in advance, plus it's cheaper though so pricey. The pods have easy to many people in them.
E.
The London Eye is always worth a visit - especially if you’ve never been before. Suitable for all ages.
You get spectacular 360 views, in a spacious pod which takes approx. 45 minutes to go round.
I would recommend booking in advance, and arriving a little earlier than your pre-booked time since 99% of the time there is long queues.
Reasonable price, especially when you get a package deal.
Security is vast, and your bags will be searched and scanned on your way through.
Very good, and professional staff throughout.
E. L.
Excellent experience which takes around 30 minutes. It took us 10 minutes to que up which wasn't bad. Excellent 360 degree views of London and is a must for ALL. Toilets located in ticket office but best to pre-book.
Y. H.
The London eye offers stunning views of London. Even if extremely popular tourist attraction, the queuing is fast and efficient.
Make sure to order goggles to zoom in on buildings and monuments while the car revolves.
There are others places that offer the same top view experience for less the price. So make sure to consider them if you’re on budget.
A. A. (.
Great experience overall, seeing the city of London from high up there was quite thrilling. we went towards the evening so there were less people entering and it was less crowded.
A. T.
No wait time when we went at 1:45 pm on a Thursday, but Saturday afternoon had a massive line. Only 8 people in our cabin.
Tickets were expensive: 32£ per adult and a 5 year old ticket was only 5£ less.
Ride was long, you get a great view of the city, but it's very slow. You get on, and then it rotates once, and you get off. Pictures are not included in the price.
I would say this is not an essential attraction for the first. If you want a great (and unobstructed) city view, the top of the Shard is included in the London Pass.
K. D.
Great experience, what started as a very wet, windy day later turned out into a beautiful sunny late morning. Kids enjoyed the views of London. Overall a great experience.
P. S.
We booked tickets online and reached their by our own car which we parked just nearby , The view and the ride itsefl is beyond words , it was miraculous as we saw the whole of London by just one point and that too without moving .
Clever advice : If u have to urge to use washroom there , please dont go and use the public washroom there , they charge 1 pound for one person which is very expensive , rather u can go to nearby restraunt and use their for free.
J. C.
Amazing experience on the London Eye the views are stunning. Must also mention the staff who really couldn't be more helpful. An experience I would recommend to anyone visiting London.
M. F.
The ticket buying process was simple and they really know how to move the queue to get to the front. The experience was great with beautiful views of the city. We even got to see a rainbow!
K. N.
Had a great time at London Eye and the River Cruise. Friendly staff and well organised process. There was a bit of queue, but it went through relatively quickly (circa 20 minutes).
Our tour guide on the River Cruise (Liam) was amazing. Made the 45 mins ride on the boat worthwhile. Stayed in the top compartment and was blessed to see so much history the city has to offer. Will definitely recommend a visit when in the area.
One tip for London Eye which was fairly obvious - if a group photo is desirable, everyone should face the same camera during the photo session towards the end of your journey. There are two cameras in the cabin, we didn't all look in the same direction and ended paying for an extra photo!
K. M.
Great views of the city! While I wouldn’t personally do it again (there are other places where you can get good views without the 30 minute rotation), everyone in our group enjoyed it.
C. H.
Did this for my birthday,
Views were amazing pod was clean and only shared with two others however it only takes you round once and it does so quite quickly . Be better for the price you pay if you got to go round twice. Other than that good
N. L.
Amazing for sight seeing london from the heights quite expensive for the time you have on it but overall a brilliant experience and enjoyed every moment of it staff on arrival where very welcoming and friendly
T. V. B.
Been on many times. Worth the time. Especially if the weather is good
F. G.
Fair price.
Very clean.
Just four people in one cabin.
We have visited there at lunch time so we skipped the long line at 12:00.
If you are afraid of hight you wont feel it even on top the London eye. It turns very slowly and you wont feel it at all.
Highly recommended.

Do not leave London city without getting a ride on London Eye, it gives you one of the best 360° view from the top. I really enjoy the ride and think it is worth the money. It's beautiful with clear view. Pls. also check the weather before purchasing ticket, and if lucky, sometimes they open for a night ride too. Have a great ride !🎡
O. N.
Efficient service, busy always , ensure to arrive intime to beat the queue if you need to go on the ride. Other than that, enjoy a serene around the view.
S. H.
Spectacular views! And had I not been so scared of heights 😬 I would have enjoyed it a whole lot more! Situated on the river Thames and very close to the London dungeon, shreks adventure and the sea life centre definitely an area to spend a whole day visiting! Loved the time I spent there with my daughter immensely! Can’t wait to visit the London dungeon for Halloween 🎃 (apologies for the poor photos but they are best I could do from my seat on the eye lol unable to stand through fear)
R. M.
Visited before with friends and didn't go on the ride. This time with the family it was on my to do list and we weren't disappointed. You won't get any better views over the Thames other than hiring a helicopter. It was well organised and the queue although looks long moves pretty quickly and your on before you know it. It's expensive though and could out price some with larger families.
D. R.
Behold the beautiful city in all its glory.... Definitely on the list of top five sights to see in London.... The Buckingham palace, Parliament House, Big Ben and the Thames below... The Eye sees all!!....Must visit...
P. M.
This was our second ride on the London eye, this time it an evening one, seeing London at night was breathtaking and beautiful, this is a most visit attraction, well worth the money, and very enjoyable experience, loved it
J. s.
This is a must if your visiting London. Can see fantastic views over the Thames and Westminster.
Very spacey pods that take 40mins to go around once
I. F.
For something that was only intended to be around till 2005 it has become the most popular attraction in the UK. Every time I have been on the eye it has been a cracking experience, from poppies be dropped over it to flybys have been very lucky to be on the eye at the right times. All weathers it's a great experience but a clear day is the best.
M. T. M.
A must do when in London. Great for couples, family's etc. Very well organised and staff super friendly
A. S.
Great experience but for the champagne trip you'd expect a bit more than a small glass for the money! Our guide was excellent and full of knowledge and we were lucky with the weather.
T. P.
Great views of London just great to say I have been would recommend to everyone.
L. W.
Wonderful experience. No queues . Perfect day to see the scenery from a good height
N. S.
Did the river cruise with my daughter. Being from the suburbs of London I actually learnt quite a lot! The guide was great he made a few hilarious quips and quotes. I got an amazing photo of Tower bridge

The London Eye, or the Millennium Wheel, is a cantilevered observation wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London. It is Europe's tallest cantilevered observation wheel,[14] and is the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom with over 3 million visitors annually.[15] It has made many appearances in popular culture.

The structure is 135 metres (443 ft) tall and the wheel has a diameter of 120 metres (394 ft). When it opened to the public in 2000 it was the world's tallest Ferris wheel. Its height was surpassed by the 160 metres (525 ft) Star of Nanchang in 2006, the 165 metres (541 ft) Singapore Flyer in 2008, and the 167 metres (548 ft) High Roller (Las Vegas) in 2014. Supported by an A-frame on one side only, unlike the taller Nanchang and Singapore wheels, the Eye is described by its operators as "the world's tallest cantilevered observation wheel".[16]
The London Eye used to offer the highest public viewing point in London[17] until it was superseded by the 245-metre-high (804 ft)[18] observation deck on the 72nd floor of The Shard, which opened to the public on 1 February 2013.[19]
The London Eye adjoins the western end of Jubilee Gardens (previously the site of the former Dome of Discovery), on the South Bank of the River Thames between Westminster Bridge and Hungerford Bridge beside County Hall, in the London Borough of Lambeth. The nearest tube station is Westminster, 420 metres (1,378 ft) away.[20]
In March 2020, the London Eye celebrated its 20th birthday by turning several of its pods into experiences themed around London, in partnership with its sponsor lastminute.com. The special experiences included a pub in a capsule, a west end theatre pod and a garden party with flower arrangements to represent the eight London Royal parks.[21]
History
Design and construction
Supported by an A-frame on one side only, the Eye is described by its operators as a cantilevered observation wheel
The London Eye was designed by the husband-and-wife team of Julia Barfield and David Marks of Marks Barfield Architects.[22][23]
Mace was responsible for construction management, with Hollandia as the main steelwork contractor and Tilbury Douglas as the civil contractor. Consulting engineers Tony Gee & Partners designed the foundation works while Beckett Rankine designed the marine works.[24]

My third flight on the London Eye and I've never been disappointed. I'd recommend pre booking tickets to avoid the lengthy queues at peak times.
C. G.
Absolutely stunning! Amazing service by the staff, such an easy thing to experience and the views are on another level. Okay the price of £31 on the day does seem steep but it’s worth it. We could have booked in advance and saved a few pounds but not knowing the weather predictability we decided on the day, it was 10:30am and we brought tickets just as the eye opened. By 11am we was stepping into the pod, due to covid there was only around 5 adults and 2 kids in the pod, we was lucky we beat the queue. Gift shop was a little pricey considering they do rake in the money with the entry fair, but again it’s London and they have to make money right. All round brilliant experience and if you’re in London then it’s worth taking an hour or so out and taking in the views!
A. B.
The ride last about 30 mins. Not scary at all. Enjoy the view and you have plenty of time to take photos and videos. The queue is not that long.
S. H.
Was fun even in the rain, just over too quickly, but lovely view overall.
I. K.
The main attraction nowadays in London, always super busy, therefore early booking is highly recommended. The whole area is great combining Westminster, Big Ben and London Bridge 🌉
M. P.
Great trip on the London Eye and if you're ever there on a clear day it's a must. We didn't book in advance but it's worth doing if you're doing other attractions around London. The queue wasn't long and was smooth flowing. The staff were friendly when asked a few questions and security seemed to be well manned. We had some great views and the kids (9 & 4) enjoyed the ride
S. T.
Really helpful staff, but the eye broke down on us. Technical issues apparently.
Started moving again and got to enjoy the views
A. D.
Good 30mins of experience.
You get to move around the capsule and explore 360° view.
Bought couple tickets for £49
R. P.
If you are in London then yes you should visit. It's a nice experience. loved it 😍
S. M. (.
It's a beautiful tourist attraction. But, like all tourist attractions, it's always busy
M. p.
Great experience with lovely views above London. A must do attraction even if you don't like heights like me.
T. b. f. D.
Loved tge experience but the 30 minutes goes so fast. I wish i had more time in there. Beautiful it is. ❤
V. S.
Most beautiful & busy place with wonderful view points, fabulous experience spent more time this place have some magnetic power it grab your heart & give a good feel
T.
Well you should defenetly book it in advanced but also combine it with the other attractions that you can combo together to save you money. Like me I just got Madame Tussauds with London Eye and was £45. Usually seperatly it's more expensive and if you combine 3 it's £60.
But about the experience it was good. You go slow so you are enjoying the views. It has also sits if you want to just chill. Even having specific time slot you still need to wait in line and always you will have some big lines as it's a famous attraction. But they move quick so don't worry too much about it.
O. K.
Enjoyed the overall experience. The queue took around 40 mins but loved the view.. Recommend to watch the view in evening because I think so it would have looked even better..
T. D.
At 135m it is the second largest cantilevered ferris wheel in the world, or so the tour guide said! Amazing views, helps understand the way different parts of the city are linked up/located. With so many glass towers, book a sunset slot for the best views. Very gentle, very stable.
S. G.
It is an amazing experience to look through the big Ben and Westminster and the rest of London from London eye .
O. J.
Oh the sight from the height, so breathtaking!!!
I also took the boat cruise today. It was absolutely awesome. Shout out to Vicky our Tour Guide who provided information in an interesting and humorous way and made the trip interesting. Special shout out to our Cruise Captain Chris, for smooth ride.
R. R.
Not much to say as it's pretty self explanatory. One revolution lasted about 30 mins. Good views of London obviously but a bit pricey at £100 for a family of 4.
M. A.
When it’s good weather, it’s great views! Queues may look long but they move quickly - very efficient boarding and off boarding!
B. S.
So unique and Beautiful.
Like Fairy
View of Eye London so Outstaning and amazing.
Its so lovely too see London view on them .
Service so nice.
Beauty of london see by Eye London Wheel.
Every minutes spend on him like another world feel so splendid .
😍 Natural Eye of London.
W. M.
Wonderful views of the River Thames and the London sky line. Well worth the money for a great view. Definitely buy tickets in advance.
K. L. (.
This guy entertaining was exceptional. Sadly didn't get his name but he was a great entertainer his magical ability had the audience enthralled n his people skills n his comedic presence was awesome.
Keep doin what you're doin dude. You're great at it.
A.
Fantastic view from the top. Better to pre book the tickets online in advance. Must visit attraction. Do try the Uber boats to commute between piers or enjoy a walk in the park with live performances happening though the day
C. D.
The perfect way to have an overview of the entire city. If you love heights, you'll love this too ♥ The view is amazing. It's best to book your tickets ahead. Souvenirs are also available for purchase at a token.
I.
Great views of London. Would have been better if not for the rain.
P. L.
First time on the Eye, was a good experience, if your into views this is for you, if heights are an issue then I would leave this attraction out of your London trip. COVID measures are ok, no distances in the queue, but the pods are cleaned before you get in, masks are advised, but not mandatory. One revolution around took about 30 mins, so make sure you have been to the loo first.
D. A.
Wow, what an amazing Ferris wheel! It’s an engineering accomplishment! Definitely worth seeing!
A. S.
One of most famous tourist attraction in London. Make sure you visit both during the day and night time as experience is amazing. This place is quite busy during the holiday season and its better to book online to avoid wasting time is queues.
R. B.
A great experience (albeit very expensive) with wonderful views of the city. The experience is awesome daylight or nightlight... See the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, the Shard in the distance, the night lights, the movements of the city. An iconic must do in London.
A. N.
Visited Aug2021 at noon just before it got really busy. Queing time was about 15 minutes including bag check. Pod felt crowded as they were letting too many people in. Would have been better if we had running commentary of which sights to spot as the the pod moved around. Lasted around 45 mintes.
C. P.
Awesome view from up top, the wait time was extremely fast, and the ride was about 15 minutes but totally worth it.
M. T.
Great breath taking views of London. Must visit for tourists. A bit expensive and busy, be sure to plan your visit.
A. H.
You can see so much of London it really is incredible, but apart from a few landmarks who knows what buildings you're looking at! Our tickets were £33 each and you might have to share the pod with another group, which is quite expensive for what it is, but it was an enjoyable experience.
D. K.
Great fun for all ages. It goes so high, but you're perfectly safe inside the pod. Wonderful views of a wonderful city.
O. C.
A Short and sweet experience of the london skylines. Good staff reception, great views for pictures when you are up in the sky. Good for families and couples alike.
M. A.
Visiting this iconic London location is a must, at least once. It is a slow ride and the view is stunning when you reach the top. Recommended 👍🏼
D. S.
I'm giving this 4* because of the ridiculous way crowds are managed during a pandemic. The experience itself was nice, bird's eye view of the city and beyond, if a tad expensive (but this is London, so...) We used 2-4-1 offers so not too bad.
A. F.
One of must visit attraction in london
Give you a nice view of london from above beside the river
It is very amazing experience 😃
Tickets could be bought from london eye ticket machines or online from lastminute.com with more other attractions which makes the price more acceptable in total
It needs specific time to enter so book tickets in advance
G. P.
Great idea to visit if your in London as special treat to yourself and family Just make sure you have tickets pre booked as its Always busy and good chance you will not get on if you turn up without tickets. Its great to see view all over the city and the river
S. D.
A great family experience and a must go landmark of London.
Pre-booked our tickets and queue moved fast, we were in the capsule within 10 minutes of arriving.
C.
Absolutely wonderful experience.
As it says on its name 'Believe or not'
There are things in that museum that you wont believe.
From the tallest man to the heaviest man and so many more things!
The whole family are gonna love it.
I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Price wasn't to bad especially if you buy there family deals.
The founder of this museum Ripley was an adventurer and went all over the globe to find these amazing artifacts and he has made a museum of all these specimens.
Absolutely recommend you go along and see for yourself.
Go to the horror section if you dare!👹
It has many floors so you wont get bored.👍😀
C. D.
Absolutely tremendous and higher than you think.. Great view of all over London.. not to be missed but pre-book to get cheaper price.
D. G.
Excellent, great views across London. Could do with some commentary or maps to help identify some of the sights though.
A. P.
Lovely to see London by night, wonderful colourful lights in all directions. Definitely recommend a visit if you are nearby.
P. V.
a very pleasant experience, a privileged view over London.. highly recommend 👍
K. S.
Loved it!!!! Breathtaking views. Romantic and a must do. Our bartenders Lucy and her assistant were excellent.
J. L. B.
A place with one of the best views in London, completely worth the visit.
D. R.
We booked the pub pod as a special way of enjoying the London Eye, we didn't know what to expect but loved the whole experience
We met in the vip area and waited for the pod to be in the right position we were then escorted into the fast pass queue after going through security
The pods hold around 30 people but there were only 6 in our pod and 2 staff... There's so much room so it allows you to take lots of photos
You are allowed 2 drinks on the 30 mins round tour, Gordon's Gin, wine, beer or soft drinks, there's music playing, seating in the middle, a bar and a dart board... Brilliant
The staff were lovely too, it was just so enjoyable, we would recommend it to any of our friends
T.
Superb views from the top! Well worth a ride, I suppose you would say! I think I’ve done this 4 times now, maybe 5. Never gets old, I feel like I find something new each time I go on. It really is great and some of the pictures you can get are brilliant too. I think a night ride would be pretty awesome, something that I haven’t had the pleasure of doing, but is definitely due!
M. L.
Great experience, short queue at 11am. Able to board early. Views of London are brilliant.
S. M.
Misses out on crowd management, lacks a guide who points out what's what and the locations of prime attractions of london city when you are up on the pod.Could have been better, do not buy the binoculars which ste 5gbp,they don't work/focus,gift and souvenir shops are open loot and I would not suggest it.
a. W.
Got the VIP package and it was worth it. You get to skip the main line, which was long! Friendly staff and good champagne. Took a day tour, the night one looks pretty to try
R. W.
The views are fantastic and the staff very helpful as my partner was using a walking stick and they stopped it to make it easier to get on and off.
H. T.
Nice ride and recommended and must to book earlier through web.
O. S.
A 3rd visit to the London’s most wanted attraction! It was a good experience. The restrictions during covid were well managed. The staff was helpful kind and courteous. There were less people in each capsule making it more comfortable. It was a hot summer day and air conditioning was spot on!
T. v. d. B.
London's Ferris wheel, called the London Eye, was a must do in this beautiful city. The city is already beautiful to walk through, but even more beautiful when you have a complete overview of the city. It was really beautiful. It is on the pricey side, but you should do it if you are travelling in England and London.
A. M. S. A. A.
London eye is a great experience. It stand just on top of the river. I would recommend booking on advance and booking online for combined tickets including madame tussauds london which will save some money and booking few weeks in advance would save more. When you book , you get an allocated time in which you should arrive on. Plan to arrive 30 minutes earlier as the queue is usually long and would take usually around 15 - 20 minutes in the queue to reach the actual London's eye. The flight as they call it )) takes around 30 minutes. There will be few minutes stops at the top to allow making photos. You would be able to see the major London attractions from above including the Big Ben , house of barlamen and London bridge. It felt safe. They offer a fast track service to escape the queue but i felt its part of the english experience to queue and as they say if you are in rome do as romans do. Thanks for the great experience.
M. M.
I have always been fascinated by carnival rides. From the amazing flashing lights to the screeching sounds of screams from people on the rides, somehow, it always gets my attention. It amazes me that average, ordinary people eagerly trade in the serenity of the ground for the chance to be tossed through the air like vegetables in a food processor. It also amazes me that at some point in history someone thought that people would enjoy this, and the person that invented these terrifying machines were the first ones on them. For me, it is precisely the thrill and excitement of having survived the ride that keeps me coming back for more, time and time again.
m. h.
As one would expect, well organised and fantastic views, takes around 30 mins to compete the experience. Would recommend planning the trip so that it's a clear sunny day to maximise experience.
J. L.
We pre-booked tickets late on a Sunday afternoon but not necessary at that time. A serene ride. Lovely.
A. U.
Although not my first my last visit to the London eye has been a fabulous one!
With Covid restrictions in place, we shared our pod only with two other couples which was almost like having it to our selves. This meant my toddler could have a great time whilst we enjoyed the stunning views of London. The staff were excellent at ensuring the safety without losing the thrill of the experience.
My only disappointment was we couldn’t get a photograph as our daughters face got hidden behind a bar in the pod whilst no one failed to spot her green jacket when we posed for the green screen photograph resulting in some rather strange images with what looked like a floating head of her - needless to say we brought neither of those home ,
m. o.
It's a great view of London. The queues were pretty well managed although you do have to show your ticket at least 3 times. The photos are expensive, £25!! But you don't have to have one taken. It's worth the trip for sure, even better with Merlin pass as it's free
D. S.
Guess it's something to tick off, the views are decent, but it's nothing special. Kids will enjoy it, especially if you buy them the binoculars for a fiver which they can keep.
L. H.
Beautiful scenery, the queue was pretty long as expected. There's plenty of small food and drink businesses located next to this which are not too pricey.
R. G.
Evenone should visit ones. We can see whole london from the top view👌
P. C. M.
Good experience. Had to queue 25mins after admission, even with ore booked tickets. Nice views, even with people taking pictures and moving around inside a lot.
C. F.
A massive attraction and very popular for both UK and overseas visitors alike. Very expensive and very long queues. Not good if you suffer with vertigo. Slap bang in the middle of the city, there are other well know landmarks on the doorstep.
5. S. G.
Amazing views during the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, spend 2 hours time with family and friends and enjoy lighting.
M. M.
In last 20 years Many times try to go on but every single time were HUGE lined up..But it happened this time with a VERY SPECIAL PERSON of my LIFE wich makes LONDON eye even MORE SPECIAL🥰the view is PRICELESS..it's very safe&COMFORTABLE rides..if you love WATCHING the SCENERY from top Will DEFINITELY Recommend...so much to say but go on and hv your own fun of EXPERIENCE 🇬🇧🏴
S. F.
Definitely one of the main touristy things to do in London and great if your first time in London. However it's extremely over priced! They could also do with guides or maps in each pod so you can identify the landmarks you're looking at.
N. Y.
Great views must see attraction but over priced as well the gift and photo shop
T. A.
Loved the place. I was able to have a really cool overview of London. The queue wasn’t that crazy as i have heard, because I was in on no time.
However I wish there was an option to have a private tour guide showing exactly what should be seen, as I wasn’t able to identify a couple of places. It would have made the tour wholesome
K. J.
Magical view from the top 😍 ✨
Suggest timing the visit during a sunset 🌅
F. E.
Such a fantastic experience seeing the views around London from the London Eye ! I would very much recommend visiting the London Eye. It's beautiful to see both during the day and in the night!
I. K.
The London eye trip was really wonderful experience. Huge city view from a bird fly height. And river cruise in darkness when lots of buildings highlighted with colorful lights.
A. R. A. K.
A must visit place whenever you are in London. Get you tickets online for a panoramic view of London.
M.
Beautiful spot at night for a lovely walk. A nice lively ambience during Christmas holiday with lots of stalls and outdoor activities.
A. K.
We enjoyed it. Aerial view of London is good, recommend to check the landmarks in brochure before you jump in.
S.
A good activity that you have to do if you came in London for see the beautiful city differently! It's was very very hight it worth the price but it's such a shame that you have to wait soo long for get in, we wait one hour! they don't use all the space available so you wait when some capsules are empty sometimes two empty we don't know why🤷🏻♀️ they say distancing measures for the corona but they let us in a crowd where people stuck together where there is no social distancing so at this result open all for cut the waiting its the same
R. B.
Really good, a great experience for the whole family, weather was rubbish but that can't be helped but at least it was warm inside the capsules, the gift shop was very expensive.
J. G.
Expensive, very expensive, but worth it as we had a pod with just 2 other people! Didn't book in advance as wanted to be sure of the weather, so just turned up. Less than a 5 minute wait and we were off. Brilliant experience. Go late pm queues are smaller.
R. T.
Very good experience! Waiting line was faster as expected, view was magnificent!
Price though was too expensive for just 15- 30 min experience
A. F.
Was brilliant! They ask you to fold your prams down but I have a double with a toddler and baby fast asleep, they were kind enough to stop it for a minute so we could get on without having to wake babies up.
A. K.
It is quite pricey, but very well organised and the view is breathtaking!
k. o.
A very nice experience for anyone coming to London for the first time. It takes a decent amount of time. Maybe it feels slightly expensive to pay 24 pounds per person but in general it is a one time experience
R. S.
A spectacular view of London spoiled by enormous queues. I can appreciate just how popular this is but we queued for close to two hours.
There are great photo opportunities to be had but you NEED to ensure you are booked on a day without rain otherwise your view is limited.
Still, the view is breathtaking.
M. N.
Great experience, nice staff and beautiful view.
I. A.
Im scared of heights, and for some reason didnt even think of it before getting on. But when I realised its going higher and higher than I the fear kicked in, it got scary 😁 but the views 😍👌👌
E. T.
Line was long but went down quickly :). Lovely views and lasts about an hour so definitely worth it as a bundle.
U. A.
A past experience but memorable. I've decided to share my pictures 📸. Enjoy!
S. E.
Just completed the river tour. Just brilliant. Informative, entertaining and very funny. Hats off to Jordan for a fantastic commentary, not sure what Derek has done to annoy him though 😆
A. G.
It was a marvellous experience with a mind blowing view of London. Even children also enjoyed it a lot along with a binoculars as a souvenir.
D. M.
Obviously this is a tourist attraction. So when my folks were visiting, I thought why not.
We'd a decent day for views but the screens/windows in the pods don't make for clear photo taking.
You'd think when you get to the apex that the automated guide would let you know (yes I was nattering away, my own fault) but nope. Nada. So I missed it by a minute or so. But they were happy to bang on about their commercial photo ops.
Overall the views were ok. I wouldn't do it again but then it's for tourists...
L. B.
Great experience . On a sunny clear sky day , possible to see and enjoy all of London's skyline
J. A.
Last time on here was about 20 years ago. So great to return with my daughter and grandchildren. Still spectacular views.
A.
Excellent birds eye view, there are benches, and you can move around. You are with other people, but groups aren't too long. There is a line (takes around 15 mins) and you get scanned (with a metal detector, as if you were at the airport). And you will need to put any bags into this conveyer belt. (No other scanning or things like that) It is very high, but moves slowly, overall it takes around 30 mins, although, it did seem faster (in time) to me. So this would take up around 45 minutes of your day.
D. T.
Third visit using merlin passes, excellent 360 views across London skyline. Deff recommend
H. E.
Crazy trip
I am always afraid from hieghts but didnt felt in danger in the london eye
It was nice
Very rainy day very nice veiw love the satff
Very clean and huge capsules
I recommend it for every body
Photography exculded in the price
S. H.
Just over the road from Paddington Station, lovely staff and amazing restaurants in walking distance, some of which children eat free all day. Nice atmosphere in the evening especially for families. Definitely going to be going back .
A. B.
Great experience. Very friendly and helpful staff, who were keen to help and give advice on what to look for. Many thanks!
B. M.
River trip a bit short and disappointing, maybe it's because of the rain or the guide a lil bit quick
A. R.
The Review here is divided into two. My husband and I were on different days at the Eye so our experience is very different.
We both arrived at the opening. I got in just on time, he waited more than half an hour.
Because I have a disabled they stopped the Eye just for a sek so I could get in safely.
A total of 25 minutes of rotation (I checked between the first and last picture I took). On the other hand, my husband went into 18 minutes of rotation - also the difference between the first and last picture.
I've been wanting to get on the wheel for 20 years while my husband did not really care.
I came out with a smiling from the experience while my husband came out feeling he was wasting money.
Good luck - it's complex.
S. L.
The 30 minutes inside one cell of the London Eye was extremely wonderful.
The view during the night is extremely beautiful. Having said that, the 30 minutes for one trip in the London Eye go very fast though.
F. M.
Beautiful eye and giant wheel. Family friendly place. Kids friendly place also. Seven minutes walk from London Waterloo Station. Great location. Located on river Thames. Near Westminster station also on the opposite side. Tourist attraction.
m. g.
Now well and truly a part of the London skyline and looks great day or night. Officially opened 31st December 1999, but it wasn't untill 9th March 2000 when the London Eye got it's first paying passenger.
Standing at 135 metres high above the River Thames, its one of the best places for taking in some of those great views of the Capital.
It features 32 pods on the wheel, these represent the 32 London boroughs that make up Greater London.
The pods are numbered 1 -33, but no number 13 for superstitious reasons. Yet this dos'nt stop 3.5 million people every year taking a ride on the London Eye and if you get the chance it's a must.
I went on this a while ago before they started maintenance work on The Houses of Parliament , so if you go now and look down, you will still see some great sights, but the Clock Tower which houses Big Ben ( Elizabeth Tower) will have some scaffolding and sheeting around it for up to two years.
Visit London and this is one thing to add to your must do list ❤

Fun attraction showing the city scape of London. The line was not bad. The transition to the pods was easy. There is seating available and good views of the city. It takes about 30 minutes to go around.
M. F.
Well worth a visit when you are sightseeing London, panoramic views. Prebooked and the queue was short, all was really well organised and we felt safe.
Epis way to see the city, especially big Ben and houses of Parliament. Just bare in mind the works on big hen at moment so scaffolding is up 😁 even the view down toward financial district is cool 😎 👌
S. M. M.
Amazing views of London & very much a tourist must do! Go at night to catch all the lights 😊🇬🇧
J. L.
Brilliant amazing and everything it's cracked up to be! Not to be missed! Weather was clear and sunny so the views were breathtaking!
T. A.
This place is very nice❤️ for visit. You can ride on london Eye as well as they have 4 types of boats. You can ride anyone which one you like, but you have to choose one. We choose River Cruise for our ride.
P. C.
Great views, if you havent been to London before, it's a great way to get your bearings
y. r.
You can relax a half hour with beautiful views of the city
C. R.
Cannot beat the experience or views. Only complaint is the price, it cost £135 for 4 people and the full rotation lasts around 20 mins. Around £1.68 per person per minute. None the less, the views are amazing
D. G.
I got on the ferris wheel and all was going well until a pigeon pushed me off to my death. I am writing this review from heaven. I hope you enjoy this selfie I took with my wife before the unfortunate event with the pigeon occured.
M. R.
Good view not worth the price like you’re on it for like 10 mins unless there’s “technical issues” so you think it’s going to turn out like a final destination film rather than being on it for an extra half hour
C. R.
Good value for money and the queue went down quickly. Very nice view of different parts of London. Good amount of room in the pod with the amount of people, plenty of opportunities to move to different sides
M. H. M.
Brilliant views over London. Loved it. Stopped the eye for wheelchair boarding.
D.
I had a ride on the London eye in December 2019, the capsule were not too crowded and there was enough space to move around. The view from the top is great, you can see how big and heterogeneously built is the city
T. M.
The view was just breathtaking. I arrived in the evening and didn't have to wait at all. The entire ride took approx 30 minutes and it is safe to say that I thoroughly enjoyed every second of it.
J. M.
If you get good weather it gives amazing views of the city. Plenty of photo opportunities and the flight time is just right.
S. C.
The skyline has certainly changed in the number of years it had been since I last visited. It was as great as I remember it being and absolutely recommend a visit.
B. L.
The view is great (if the weather behaves), and it is a cool structure, however, it is a bit expensive for what it is. Pre covid there used to be massive long queue all the time that makes the whole experience less pleasant....
But at least the ride is not too short, so you will feel slightly better about it....
b.
100% Recommend to anyone in London. We went on a Monday, so had no queue. Covid sanitisation also in place. Great views and a nice way to see the city and Thames
S. J.
London eye is a must do when you visit London. Nice views. Choose a sunny day. Preferably summers
C. W.
Love the new booking system. So much faster. Was a lovely day and could see for miles.
l. d.
Great attraction. Amazing views of the whole city. Really enjoyed it
H. F.
We had a lovely little trip up...It's well organized, and staffed. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and our pod was clean and air conditioned (lucky, as we went during a mini heatwave!). The photos and memory book are on the expensive side, but really very beautiful....And there's a great little coin souvenir machine as you walk down the ramp from the eye. We had a wonderful time! :-)
M. I.
Awesome place, you can view the whole London across the sides of 'River Thames'. Buy binoculars at the time buying tickets for more fun. Be alert at the time entering to pod and during the last 10 min of the ride, there are cameras to take ur snaps and can be purchased at the time of leaving pod. And the last bit not least.. try to visit between few min before sunset to enjoy both the views...:)
A. F.
A must visit for tourists, take the fast lane option and enjoy the view!!!!
G. W.
One of the London's great attractions. Spectacular views and great opportunity to see River Thames and surrounding cityscape from above.
G. C.
A must-see when in London. This icon shines and is better appreciated at night time. I am fortunate that my bike commute to work allows me to admire it to and from work.
p. s. t.
This trip on the London eye and a trip on the river cruise are a must. They are both informative and just a beauty.
J. O.
The area up and around the London Eye such great views however is a rough area to be by with lots of people grouped up watching your every move. Didnt feel comfortable so didn't stay long but was nice to walk along and have a look. Would definetly recommend just be cautious.
S. M. H.
I have visited before as a child but recently revisited with some friends. The London Eye boasts great views of London and a lovely way to take a break from the hoards of people around the city. The pods are also air conditioned so stay nice and cool even on scorching days. There can be long queues but if you book for later in the day it can be deserted. Overall, worth visiting at least once in your life; you're likely to enjoy it.
R. L.
This was amazing. Great for families and loved ones. And there were only 3 to 4 persons per cubicle so a plus compares to max of 28 at one point in time before. Definitely recommended for anyone who wants to see all around London. Thank you and have a great day.
D. J.
Very nice place but also expensive. Its a good Activity you can do in London.
L. F. F.
It was awesome view even though it was raining , though the cabin was coming slightly down which made me a bit kind of giddy , overall great experience
A. T.
Really enjoy this attraction, it's never the same twice. The only downside is that you don't have a say in who is in your pod and sometimes this can make or break the experience - although I do understand that this is not London Eye's fault, but just a heads up.
F. S.
I don’t understand why this became du h an attraction where there are so many better and cheaper options to see town from above
s. v.
"London Eye"? You guessed it right... Its a large
Circular giant wheel located along the river Thames. As an eye gives us sight, the "London Eye" gives us spectacular sight seeing opportunity to have a glance over the wonderful city of London. Its open on all days except on those with bad weather. No need to book tickets in advance. The London eye offers great chance to people who are photoholics just like me from within, beside and far of it. The view of it during night has no words to describe enough its beauty. Must visit place in London having many other places nearby such as London bridge, Thames river, Thames river walk, etc.
J.
Worth it if you can get a discount of some sort, plus a bit lucky with the weather too! They clean each pod pretty well, it was spotless!
O. B.
A fantastic view of the city. Excellent experience during covid restrictions, quiet so we had the pod to our selves.
I think the price is a little steep but as its a tourist attraction in the centre of London you expect nothing less.
P. T.
Smooth operation and enjoyable ride. It's lovely to see London from that height. The carriage speed is steady and feels safe. You can easily see why this attraction is enjoyed by millions every year.
A. K.
Great views of London, good for families and it only takes around 30 minutes to go all the way around it.
B. S.
We visited London Eye before Coronavirus and all pandemic things. Long queue and quiet boring ride for about 30 min, where we have been takes automated pictures. My jumper was green so results of this pictures looks funny but not worth money to be spend. Unfortunately there is better places to have a view over the London.
H. R.
Classic site to see in London. Amazing views from the top. The staff here are really friendly and helpful. Note you can not turn up even 5min earlier than your allocated time which helps restrict patient flow which is nice. Would recommend!!
A. S.
The must-seen place. You can see London cityscape from more than 100 metres! It worth it.
N. P.
Amazing way of seeing some of the most iconic landmarks of London City. The feeling going up is very smooth and it almost doesn't feel like you're moving. The capsules have a bench in the middle for people to sit and enjoy the view, as well as having plenty of space to move about and capture the different views of the city. They offer a service in which they capture a photo from outside the capsule in the last moments of the descent and you can choose to buy it at the end of your journey if you wish to do so.
k.
I have visited several times since my children really loved it. The view is priceless indeed and it is very exciting to see London from the sky. However, the queue is always awful, long, crowded, and in a Hot summer it is not a very pleasant adventure to visit for such a long time. It also takes a while for a first time visiter to find the ticket office. I would highly recommend to put signs which show the direction. In addition, if you aren’t a very patient person, pay attention ti the fact that you move really slow and it takes about 20-30 minutes until you finish your round. It’s a must visit place to visit according to travel guides, but if you don’t have enough time in town, I would highly recommend visiting other sights which are, in my opinion, more interesting around town.
V. B.
Was amazing, worth the money for the long ride up, best recommended when it's darker!
C.
stunning views from the top, you could see big ben, the parliament etc - if you ever go to london make sure you book a ticket because you won’t miss out! The views from the top were amazing, you were completely safe the whole time!!
R. W.
Wow absolutely magnificent. Although it rained for awhile, it soon cleared and was able to get some magnificent views. This attraction is definately a must when visiting the Capital
A. A.
Always love. London from this angle is amazing!
G. B.
The views from here are fantastic. It’s a great experience to see many sights of London and the surrounding areas
L. C.
Loved going on the London Eye as usual! Glad we have Merlin passes though as would've been expensive had we had to pay to go on. Reduced numbers in the pod made it more enjoyable although I still think there could've been a couple less people in there
H. P.
Magnificent place to be at. Has multiple restaurants nearby to enjoy.
N.
Amazing, great deals to be had on line. But if your walking along and fancy going to any of the attractions, there are plenty of places to book, touch screen. Very quick. Covid safe.
S. S.
As an engineer, I bow my by this piece of work. As a tourist I enjoyed the magnificant views immensely.
j. w.
Eh. Not worth the cost. Decent views but the glass makes everything look so gloomy
J. W. (. W.
It's a lovely walk down the side of the Thames, loads of food stalls, bars, restaurants and thing to see and do.
L. A.
Some great views over London. If there were recorded guides playing to allow guests to identify key sights, it would be 5 stars. I appreciate that most of them are easily identifiable, it would be a nice touch for those that are unsure.
R. C.
Brilliant day out , bit pricey but worth it for the view.
T. B.
I think it is a beautiful experience for those who likes to see the whole city from above. I enjoyed slowly rising above and being at the top where I can see the city below. It was a fascinating view and I'll definitely go up again.
A. B.
Nice ride quees not too long
S. D.
Well worth a visit. The view is spectacular, a must do really.
T. B.
Booked the tickets online very easy and the location of london Eye an boat cruise is the same west minister Bridge
J. M.
A windy and cold place and yet, seeing London eye is still worth our way to travel and get a glimpse of this iconic place. Hoping to ride on it one day , after lockdown, when all is back to normal ways of enjoying outdoor.
M. V.
It was awesome to go up so high an be able to see the viw from there.
A. E.
Overpriced!
The view is nice but not worth the money. We bought tickets in advance online as we were told this was cheaper but we still didn’t find it worth the price tag.
The money is probably better spent going to see a show or a good meal.
R. B.
great weather, clean, views from the eye were great, river cruise was really good as our guide made the tour fun
E. T.
Amazing views, great experience for anyone. All well cleaned and follows all guidelines. Your temperature is taken on arrival, your bags will be searched and before you enter it will be cleaned after the last person using it. Wondeful expefience and would recommend for anyone.
J. G.
Great experience. The fast track tickets were worth every penny. Lovely view of London. A few photo opportunities. The souvenir book with the photo's in was a nice touch.
m. s.
Wow what a wonderful way to see across the skyline of London..
Booked our tickets in advance so just turned up at the allocated time..
Waited in the queue for about 15 minutes before boarding one of the pods..
Rest assured all covid procedures are followed..
On the eye for approximately 35 minutes but feels for less probably because you're enjoying the experience and the views so much..
My daughter is a little weary of heights but as you moving so slowly she didn't realise how high the pod was going and again because of the fantastic views she really didn't think of her fear of heights
So yes it's a fantastic experience and well worth the money..
g. b.
A great addition to London that give you a fantastic view of the city and many tourist attractions.
H. B.
One of the best London's tourist attractions places♥️🤍
M. M.
The London eye is an iconic landmark of London. From it you can see many amazing landmarks like big Ben and Buckingham Palace. It takes 30 mins to go around and the queue was short because it was in the middle of the week.
d. d.
Wouldn't miss the chance to have a ride
Best view in summer when the sun is setting. Truly a beauty.
T. C.
Fantastic experience really enjoyed it I can't wait to visit London again
G. H.
My 4th time on the London Eye and it was excellent. Covid restrictions were being followed meaning each cabin had less people - which made it an even more enjoyable experience
Would definitely recommend it!
U. D.
London Eye became one of the landmark of London, it is a must if you come to visit this vibrant city and never ride this lovely wheel.
In this millennium wheel you can enjoy amazing 360-degree views over London and
Spot some of the capital's most iconic landmarks, including Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace.
Worth a visit.
R. W.
Went on the Thames Cruise yesterday, Thursday 17th, and had a good time. It was a bit windy, not like today but still a fare bit on the river. The cruise took about 30 minutes which is fine and for the price well worth it.
V. A.
Being a Londoner I thought I wouldn't enjoy this but I was completely wrong! Lovely views of the city. Staff were helpful. You get searched using a hand held wand and your bags go thru an xray. Takes about 15 20 minutes to go around. Capsules wasn't full which was good. Enough space to take pics from all angles. AC inside was defo a plus
M. W.
Well worth the money. Good experience with excellent views
L. L.
Amazing experience. Be prepared to take a selfie in one of these capsules.
z. n.
Took myself and my 9year granddaughter Saturday, we had a lovely time
D. A. M.
It's ok to visit but they could do a little better compared to the fact how renowned it is. Best is to buy a combined ticket that has The London Eye as main attraction and you can add 2 more to it at very acceptable (compared to how much you would pay separately). Queues can be long in the summer. By night the area is nicely lit.
T. D.
I believe this is overhyped place. But even if you never went there then for the first time it's worth to go there.
Weather was nice when reached there So I liked the place.
M. H.
Always best time we I visit London eyes and riding on London eye and the view is just amazing and can't compare with anything else.
Covid restriction apply as you are using for each group or family also they keep clean and sanatrise after each ride. We can't stay home all the time need to gout in our beautiful city London and central.
R. H.
You can book tickets online or at the site. There is bundled offer with other London attractions nearby. But before opting bundled tickets make sure you have enough time visit all those. You can carry snacks if needed. There will be queue to get in after checking the ticket so move to the site after buying tickets. Can buy souvenir from shops nearby. There is also option to take photo on additional payment.
It's worth visiting.
B. A.
Very nice and enjoyed the ride, also don't forget to visit at night to enjoy the view.
E. L.
Great experience just didn't do thr photo as there weren't enough spots to stand in at photo opportunity amazing views
G. T.
Pre-booked online for mid day flight. Queue was efficiently managed. Although a hot day Aircon helped. Shared pod with others but not overly crowded. Would recommend.
G. S.
Great place to visit whilst in London..!
Very busy place 🥴😎😁👍🏼
R. J.
London looked absolutely stunning during dusk.
D. K. K.
Really pretty. Was closed for maintenance so wasn’t able to ride
J. M.
Such an awesome experience, great views of London. I already recommended to my friends from my experience and all they have a great feedback really worth for what you spending
L. L.
Glad I came to visit. A lot of scenery. Would definitely come again and get on the wheel
S. A.
I won't lie. It bored me. It's just not a view I love. I prefer the i360 so you can see the beach and the sea. I think for 25 minutes it was a little over priced but the staff got us on and off quickly and were friendly. Personally for me I wouldn't go again.
A. M.
It was a nice experience but I don't think I will do it again. It was about 30 minutes and it was more than 10 people in a pod including me and my partner. It wasn't only 3 groups or 4 it was more like 6-7 different groups. The view was nice as it was sunny and I took some great pictures. All in all is worth coming to see london from above and not as expensive as other attractions.
S. O.
Great experience and lovely views.
J. M.
Great experience, and well worth the price . Something that all the family will enjoy.
M. W.
Famous London Eye. Love - hate relationship, definitely a landmark to keep!
N. G.
Just wanted to say thank you to the amazing staff there! It is great as well that capacity per pod is limited.
However, I think that this attraction is seriously overpriced.
J. F.
Great experience. Side note, the time you have booked on your ticket is the time you join the queue. You will still have to wait before boarding. Make sure you collapse buggies/pushchairs ready. Stand out the way of the bars in the window when the wheel comes down for a picture. Thoroughly enjoyed, we went in the day time but I bet it would be even more spectacular at night. Enjoy!
R. S.
You can enjoy breathtaking views in the sky. Worth the pay.
G. H.
Great river cruise. Must mention Mike as host. Informative and entertaining.
T. J.
Great day out and the views from the eye are tremendous. Would definitely recommend that you have a spin around the eye. Would do it again ... And we will.
B. P.
London best tourist attractions point anyone can spend quality time here with special person or family, my experience was great.
E. G.
I've never been on the London Eye and whilst visiting last year my girlfriend surprised me with a vist to here and wow i was not disappointed.
The views are incredible theres so much to look at and to talk about. It's amazing to see London at a height and also to spot new places you want to visit thay you may not of thought of.
We visited December 2020 in the height of pandemic. Each time someone got out members of staff would go in and clean/wipe everywhere so it was ready for the next people. In the pod me and my partner went into, the staff put one other couple in with us- this was not a problem as they are more than big enough and nowhere near each other, even if you move around.
The staff were lovely from start to finish and very accommodating to anyone with health/mobility problems.
J. C.
Amazing views!! Recommend buying tickets online because they sell out quickly!!
L. R.
The very long queue put a bit of a damper on the initial part of the experience, but the rest was nice. Die to covid, the pods were not crowded at all, which was nice as it allowed everyone plenty of space for both safety and looking around without worries. Slightly annoying how they keep taking pictures of you in an attempt to make.ypu leave even more money - considering the full adult price is £31, it felt a bit ridiculous. Worth noting that if one manages to book at least four days in advance, the price goes down to £24. It's free for children under 3 so worth going with the little ones, perhaps paying the extra to slip the queue
M. D.
Great attraction. Wiring system worked well and got through quickly.
Use a map to help spot landmarks as there’s no information inside the capsules!
A. M.
Definitely an attraction worth visiting. Staff are friendly and welcoming. You do have to wear a mask, but not many people in a pod, so quite easy to social distance. Takes around 30 minutes to go round. The views are just amazing and you can see so much of all the famous landmarks. Good for the houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, St Paul's and the Shard.
D. S.
The view is amazing!! Only waited in line for 10 minutes including getting our tickets. The process was seamless and easy. The ride itself was around 30 minutes and you get 360° of beautiful for the whole time! I would gladly recommend this to anyone visiting London.
A. K.
London eye is one of the most beautiful places in the world! I'd like to come here on vacation.
V. B.
Perhaps the most overrated attraction in London, after Madame Tussaud.
Yes, there is a nice view from the wheel, but you have to pay
£45 and queue 40-60 minutes.
There better observation spots in London.
As for the experience, go to the British Museum or the National Gallery. Much, much better.
M. J.
London eye is must see location .Try to book and 3 or 5attractions together early so you can save
S. U. F.
The best tourist place in London with beautiful view and attractions.
K. S.
Amazing haven't been for years but seeing from afar gives me the jonesing to go again sometime soon
J. J. T.
Brilliant experience with friends or family. The evening views are stunning. A must visit.
C. c.
London eye os a good experience but the beauty of it comes to life at night with the surrounding of the river Thames and other surrounding buildings
A. M.
It's was a breath taking experience.. at the heights.. with a 360 degree view of the entire city of London.. Felt safe with adequate safety precautions and cleaning in between change of people to the pod..
K. B.
It's a bit expensive to actually go on the wheel itself so vouchers are advised but visiting on South Bank is nice and the view is pretty good at any time. Worth going once even as a tourist.
M. A.
Worthy to visit in sunny days like hot summer. Ensure that plan trip with pre booking which help if you want some cheaper deals or else walking directly expensive dont expect any discounts on boat fares for students. I think atleast they need to think for student discounts as I didn't see they like to welcome them. Also better to carry food and drinks on spot its bit expensive.

At 135 meters/ 443 ft tall this is the most famous ferry wheel in the world as it was the largest after opening in the year 2000.
Almost 3 million visit this annually and you can get a beautiful view of the city beyond Thames from here.
On weekends the queue can be huge, so make your plans in advance.
R. W.
Very quick to get boarded. We had merlin gold annual passes so could use the fast track line. Capsule was not too busy so had plenty of room to see London in each direction.
O. O. C.
Seen it close up on my day out in London yesterday but didn't get on it. Will definitely go on it next time. But amazing machinery and views of iconic landmark of London.
A. F.
This place use to be so full of fun but unfortunately, it's a bit dry this time. May be because of covid. Still had some fun though
T. V.
Fantastic place to visit and take a look from a privileged point of view of London!
G. A.
lovely experience for 20 minutes, the view is absolutely amazing when it's sunny and nice out there definitely recommend it to everyone
s. s.
The river cruise tour guide, Jordan (if i remember the name correctly) was fantastic with nice voice and hilariously funny way of narration, satire and jokes. I was more into his narrative than actual site seeing 🙂 Thanks dude for awesome morning tour.
L. P.
Over priced! Should be £25 pp max in my opinion.
Also in pod 33 one of the sheets of window plastic was scratched and hazy, hard to look out of.
Other than that a very good experience with amazing views
Y. M.
Beautiful and amazing engineering well worth it if you’re ever visiting London
J. M.
Good views of London, a bit of a queue but it’s worth it
N. N.
It’s magical. If you have a good phone, you can see inside Buckingham Palace from up there!
D. H.
Fantastic views across London. Staff were very polite and helpful. Highly recommended.
M. I.
Feel good to visit here, only thing they can improve to give visitors bit more time and it’s would be much better if one family or maximum two families can only go in one cabin.
A. B.
Brilliant attraction. I would highly recommend this to anyone
A.
The experience was great.
What's better is the organisation which is so well executed.
The pictures before you get on should be voluntary and not seem like security.
A. J.
Wow. Wow. Wow. I would give unlimited stars if I could! I booked fast track for an evening view of London, and I was not disappointed. While fast track did cost more, me and my boyfriend were straight past the long line, searched and into a pod within six minutes of arriving. Well worth the extra money in my opinion. But the views? Simply breathtaking. Seriously, the pictures and videos don't do justice. It's so peaceful being that high up, yet you see the city still bustling below. The pod has so many clear windows for excellent photo opportunities and is spacious enough for many people inside without feeling claustrophobic. The pace was just right and not once did I feel uncomfortable. I've seen people saying this is a "tourist trap", but I couldn't disagree more. As a Brit myself, I can't recommend you do this attraction enough and hopefully it will shine a light onto why I'm raving about it so much. A truly unforgettable, spectacular experience.
K. N.
Fantastic way to see the city from high up. Enclosed capsules so void of the elements. Since Covid only small groups are allowed...we had 4 adults and 2 children where could hold 15 to 20. Does not feel like you are that high. My husband has vertigo and the ride did not bother him at all. We went in early evening and in December there was no line. Highly recommended.
L. F.
I only gave a like because it was closed due to normal maintenance so was unable to get on.
N. C.
The London Eye is a must for every tourist! A different kind of Ferris wheel. The view over the city will stay with you forever, and it's not too expensive either. Unfortunately, there are always a lot of tourists.
C. M.
If you want it cheaper, buy it earlier.
But it is must-have thing when you come to London 😀
No queues!
S. T. G.
Well worthy tourist attraction. Panoramic view of watching city of London at a glance.
30 minute ride on the wheel is real worth of scenery if the weather is good & the sky is clear & blue.
It’s advisable to book in advance online. It’s cheaper if you book it combined with another attraction. Tickets can be downloaded directly to the phone so no need of printing paper tickets.
Due to the pandemic advance time slots should be booked whilst booking the tickets online. Social distancing is maintained through out the visit & face masks are compulsory to be worn through out the visit.
Very clean & hygiene standards are maintained all cars are sanitised after every journey
A. B.
Warm wishes readers!
Visiting or being in England and not hitting up London eye is like eating fish without chip 😂
Well, this became my favorite not just because of the atmosphere around but also, I was amazed to see people of all ages getting excited for the tour of the earth and sky packed in a compartment, which allows 30 people at once. The top view from London eye is the breathtaking, nonetheless I or any of the people boarding didn't experience claustrophobia, rather it was a moment to cherish the engineer and the workers who build Big Ben and other monuments below.
P.S. - When I visit the London Eye, the Big Ben was under construction, so couldn't update you all with it's feature. ❤
S. W.
A fantastic thing to do and should be at the top of everyone's list. Stunning views and a amazing feat of engineering. Would definitely recommend.
J. T.
Amazing. Best time to go just as sun is setting.
D. R.
I would recommend the London eye to everyone, it takes around 30 minutes to go all the way around, great views from the top.
p. l.
Luckily, the long queue moved quickly, staff was very efficient. Beatiful views and amazing place to visit. Obviously a mult go to place for every tourist. if you are having a busy tour day in London, it's a good place to relax for a bit... since you'll be sealed in the capsule and all you can do is observe the beauty of the city from high above.

A must place to visit, if one wants to have an aerial view of central London.

Simply amazing and breath taking view. Really loved the experience of getting to watch the aerial view of London city from such a great height. Crowd was well managed and we got the number quite quickly. A very good experience. Family loved it.

Found this a very fascinating way to view London's embankment. Was a calm and steady trip round with loads of photo opportunities.
I wasn't bothered about doing this as I felt it was just to touristy, but honestly I enjoyed every minute. A must for children who love historical buildings.

Great experience. I'm afraid of heights but it moves so slowly that once you're on you don't even notice. The staff were really nice too 😊

A great place to see london and river thames from up the world.

Great experience and such a lovely view!

Did the 5pm booking. The city lights were lovely but it moves so slowly stopping for people to enter and exit that you are back down before you know it. It would have been nice to go round again without stopping.

If you are visiting London. I highly recommend you try London Eye

The ride itself was amazing if you're looking for an awesome view of London.. however do not be coaxed into buying tickets by people waiting at the end of the steps and buy the tickets yourself inside with other nearby attractions or buy tickets online for a deal. Quite pricey for 67 pounds for 2 adults on its own.

Great experience. Family loved the view.

As the winter nights are drawing in, this is highly recommended for a colourful view of the London skyline

A good place to visit to get great views of London. You can be put in with annoying people who just want to do a photo shoot of themselves rather than the view. So be prepared to be firm but polite in asking them to move so you can enjoy a view from all angles also.

A great place to visit, cruise ship, roller coaster.

Up up and away. It just keeps going. Fantastic views at the very top!

A really amazing ride. It's all worth it. It slowly goes around. Cabins are really clean and spacious. A perfection in its own

Plenty of tube stops around to get here. Nice walk from national museum. We booked tickets online and added in wax museum and marvel 4D for 3:30pm. When we arrived at the London eye they Informed us they now close at 6pm and wax museum at 4pm so we could use the ticket within 90 days of purchase to get the most of the museum which is 20 minutes from the London eye. This was handy to be informed. 3 teenagers aged 17 getting on and they advised myself to get on with them as a guardian although tickets are adults 16+. Experience was good took 30 minutes and you can get your photo done on the way back down to the start. You will notice the sign on the cart. It is easy to get on and off and seating inside. Would recommend in the evening time when possible as the view as it gets dark is beautiful.

You can book the tickets with combination that would be cheaper than booking each place .

Brilliant views over London, we was very luck as it was a clear and sunny day. The que was long but actually when down pretty quick. Worth going on.

Easy to book and a great tourist attraction. The cruise was a little short, but it was very nice and the people were friendly/informative. Both sides of the boat had the same view, so no bad side. The London Eye had fantastic views of the area.

And thus my story ended here. I was tired after the whole day. It had drained me. But I was still trying to make the most of what was left. The rest of the day was the last of the night. I beamed with positivity and ended negativity. In other words, the story ends here.

Took the kids on last weekend, got stuck at the top for about 15 minutes in gale force winds. Wasn't the best experience, not worth the full £156 it would have cost for us all to go on it but used tesco vouchers so halved the cost.

View was beautiful. Try to go on a sunny day.
Buying Fast track ticket is worth it.
