Reviews of Madame Tussauds London

It was an amazing experience. The history of the museum was very inspiring. The details of every sculpture was so detailed that we feel a real connection with them. Enjoyed the day out here especially when the 3Dmovie theatre with the link up seats that give you the effects and sound of the movie and a really good day out for the kids and also wax hand craft you could try out were they make moulds of the hand indifferent waxes.
J. S.
This is a must see and recommended attraction any one must do if you are a tourist and local. See all your favourite figures all on near perfect wax models and entertainment. Staff friendly and covid cautious. We enjoyed our visit and would come back again.

Great museum with lots of celebrities. Marvel part is interesting too , but 4d was just okay for me and husband told that it’s better for children than adults . Was like cartoon and very fast .
S. S.
Nice place, worth to visit.. It took around three hour to complete the tour.
I like the ride which give information about the history of London.. that is a nice concept to know the city more in detail.. I like the Hulk statue which is huge..
All famous actor and actress are their to welcome you..
A. I.
It was perfect! We enjoyed every minute. My 5 yo son was fascinated by the Marvel characters. At the cineme it was his first 4D experience and he liked it so much. I definitely recommend to visit Madame Tussauds.

I never thought I would have so much fun here. The models were amazing, and the best ones were so lifelike. The whole place was so entertaining and time flew by. All of the models are set or staged like movie posters or sets so you can take pictures of you being in the movies. The best one was the Morgan Freeman model when you walk in, after that you just feel like you've stepped into a fantasy movie.

Madame Tussauds is a must visit museum. In the first place I was a little worried that was only a tourist attraction but once I’ve been completely changed my mind.
The wax statue are incredibile , detailed enough to notice the defects on the little pore of the skin , even the tiny beard hair. A maniacal perfection. Visiting was funny , taking photo with your favorite VIP , the location and atmosphere is set for the best experience ever.
Highly recommended!

this is such a great experience and worth every penny! there is something for everybody and is definitely worth the visit if in the area. it was relatively busy (we went on a weekday), so be prepared to queue for photographs. I wouldn't recommend going during a public holiday.
C. M.
Really good day out! The waxwork’s are amazing and so lifelike. Some are not that good but others are unbelievable. If you are travelling to London then this is definitely one thing that I would recommend to go and experience. It takes a couple of hours to explore the whole place but it was a great day and worth the money! Great for families and couples.

Didn’t think I’d enjoy this. But actually really well done. Less of a room full of models. More of a museum looking at the actors/stars in their environment.
A little annoyed by the fact that the royals was restricted so you could not take photos with them. You had to buy one off then. A bit of a cheek.
Overall fun, but look for a deal. Would not pay full price.

Lovely place which you must visit at least once ,there are many famous figures like royal family ,Obama,Kim Karashian,Star Wars,Marvel collection there is also cinema which has shows every 10 minutes in 4d so you can grab your 3d glasses(available from there )and you can enjoy the show which cost £5 per person can be bought online or at the till.
S. B.
This is absolutely the best fun place to visit in London.Lot many wax statues covering all the famous personalities in sports, movies, politics, singers etc.Definitely worth the ticket price and also a train ride at the end .Visit their souvenir shop at the ground floor at the exit .
G. V.
A must see when in London. Excellent wax replicas of the rich and famous. Make sure to also do the Marvel Heroes. Have your video camera ready for the red carpet event :) Fast passes are suggested if going on busy days
B. R.
It is a nice attraction in London. Lots of famous people (in wax of course).
I am not sure if i visit Madame Tussauds London twice but I enjoyed my time specially in the taxi ride of history. A lot to learn.
To improve: hand dryers in the toilet are for 20 years ago. Come on, please upgrade them.
Also there is a need of sitting and eating area. Walking for hours makes everyone tired. I found only a place to buy drink or ice-cream but not proper cafe area.

What an experience!!! A super beautiful wax museum which is displaying the waxworks of famous and historical figures, as well as popular film and television characters played by famous actors. It is one of the most famous tourist attractions in London!!! We had a really great time there and we get some amazing photos with our favourite actors, singers and athlets!!! It is highly reccomended to visit this museum if you visit London!! :) :)

Fun interactive experience, with some extremely realistic works of art... Both modern day stars and stars of the past, bit pricey for what it is but still had fun

Madame Tussauds wax museum is one of London’s most popular attractions and features a constantly growing collection of startlingly lifelike wax sculptures. Take pictures of yourself with wax depictions of royalty, including the Queen herself, as well as A-list celebrities such as Audrey Hepburn and George Clooney.
Visionary wax sculptor, Marie Tussaud, made death masks for those killed by guillotine during the French Revolution. She first exhibited her wax figures more than 200 years ago. Since then, the celebrated waxworks museum chain has branched out into other cities, including New York City, Berlin and Washington, D.C.
Wander through the exhibits and see how many familiar faces you recognize. Come face-to-face with wax depictions of Hollywood stars, including Whoopi Goldberg and Kate Winslet. This remarkable museum also displays sculptures of memorable fictional characters from films including The Terminator and E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.
Study the faces of international sporting legends, such as Usain Bolt, Jessica Ennis-Hill and Muhammad Ali. Admire portrayals of some of history’s greatest artists, writers and intellectuals, including Vincent Van Gogh, Charles Dickens and Albert Einstein. The museum also showcases wax representations of well-known YouTube celebrities.
Find several other great London attractions, such as Regent’s Park, Kensington Palace and Hyde Park, nearby. Walk to Regent’s Park in about 5 minutes. This beautiful park encompasses Regent’s University London and London Zoo. This Royal Park is also excellent for bird-watching, with more than 100 species known to reside in and travel through this area.
The nearest Tube station to Madame Tussauds is Baker Street, which is served by five different lines. Save money by purchasing tickets online in advance. Combination tickets, which include entrance to other affiliated London attractions, such as the London Eye, the London Dungeon and the Sea Life London Aquarium, offer further savings.
Survey hundreds of realistically rendered wax sculptures in Madame Tussauds London.

It's my fourth time at Madame Tussaud's.
Lovely experience every time and worth every penny.
Definitely good place to go on a date or bring your children.
Highly recommend it.
S. H.
Me and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed our time at Madame Tussaud’s taking photos with all the celebrities. Understandably it was crowded so some of the favourites were hard to get a look in but we enjoyed it. We loved the marvel 4D experience an amazing surprise as didn’t know it was there that I think was my favourite part. Took a taxi through time we loved that too! Will have to visit again to see the newcomers to the exhibition.
T. M.
The wax artworks are fantastic, many with very good displays. Certainlu something wonderful if you are particularly celebrity orientated and definitely worth a visit to see the talented sculptures if you're not.
The attraction takes around two hours to complete (including the additional Marvel attraction) and although it is all one directional, it is free roaming with as much time per model as you need.
Recommended to do at least once but it wouldn't be something to return to regularly in my opinion.
Φ. Τ.
Best madame tussauds museum I've ever been to.
You have to get into a "train" and it's the coolest thing I've seen there.
On weekdays there is no queue, on weekends you have to wait on a queue but not for long time
M. K.
Post amended* removed wheelchair comment
Can get very hot in there. Not suitable for pram. There is a ride in there also.
We booked in at 11 and was done by 1230ish.
Definitely recommend it once in a life time
R. M.
A great way to spend 2 hours in London. Some of the models are so life-like that you think they're going to spring into action & they really do look as though they're looking directly at you!.. Nevertheless, this is a good attraction to visit & very entertaining.
L. A.
A great place to mix with celebrities. But seriously the details on the models is excellent and the attraction supports a wide range of themes. The Star Wars section is fab. Whilst on your visit, pop around the corner to see the fictional house of Sherlock Holmes.
D. B. A.
Was Amazed about how real they were
Got Surprised twice
Was thinking if they are real and looking at me
A must visit if you are in London
The Marvel 4d Movie is also very good
And last but not the least the beautiful walk through in older British time
Sensational work
Thumbs up
V. B.
Definitely one of the best experiences you should have if you have been in London
I recommend the 3D Cinema with the Marvel Heroes 👌🏻👍🏻
A. C.
Amazing place, great time we had in Madame Tussauds.. Great models of celebrities from film, television, music, sports and politics.. and of course the Royal family. We took our time going around letting people pass who were in a rush.. for true Star Wars fans (like me) take tour time
P. B.
Well when I was in maybe class 3 or 4 somewhere in the book I read a museum called Madame Tussauds situated in London where statutes are made of waxes. It was that time a bit captivating for me. Eventually I learned about it in articles, news or form of videos. Today for the first time I visited this spot. Maybe the museum is old, maybe there is lot less statutes, maybe other Madame Tussauds museum in the world are better than this, but nobody can snatch way the originality regarding the museum and feeling for me towards this iconic tourist attraction that was created a long way back in my mind.
A. B.
Very worth it experience. Was very crowded tho but expected since lockdown is over. Enjoyed so much, took us about 2hrs to finish the whole tour including taking photos with the celebrities. Will recommend!
W. N.
I've not been here since I was a youngling and that was over 35 years ago! I still remember the heads on the spikes! We've got the Merlin Pass and pre booked. We got there slightly early due to the tube strikes and rain but qe still managed to get in. If you love Starwars! You'll love this part of the exhibition, not forgetting Michael Buble, Little Mix. Certain celebs certainly look less like themselves than others. 😜 certainly worth a visit if you have the Merlin Pass! We were there for just over 2 x hours.
S. F. K.
Worth visiting couple of hours at Madame Tussauds Wax museum and not to forget the marvel 4D shows.
M. C.
Love this place.book your time slot on your chosen date on line. You have to queue still. Its very busy.but you soon get in.busy inside to.its London so it's going to be.prices again are what you expect for London.but not overly bad.lots of famous faces. Great marvel 4D cinema experience to.but you have to pay extra for this.and the wonderful spirit of London ride at the end.all in a London black taxi.worth a visit.
C. C.
Fantastic experience, really took me by surprise! Many of the waxworks are extremely lifelike, and almost creepy in that respect!
It's great to be able to see what all of these well known people are like and have your photos taken with them!
J. E.
Not a big fan on celebrities so wasn't really that fussed about going but starting at the top and working your way round i was surprised by all of the quality of the art work even up close and there was so much stuff crammed into this place I didn't no where to look first I would say this is worth a visit and they have all marvel characters also which am a fan of, the 4d movie was cool also with hissing seats a bit of water and the feeling of being punched in my chair all added to the movie, we was in there for 1.5 hrs but could of been easily been longer
P. S.
It's a nice fun place to go, very busy and can be waiting a few minutes to get a picture with celebritie props. A 5 minute wait to get a pic with the queen with nice back ground.
Took 2 hours to complete but we was rushing.
Best thing is it was next door to Baker street tube station so no walking.
S. t.
Awesome experience. New wax statues as compare to 3 years back. Great 4D cinema -reasonably priced. no place to to sit and eat. Train trip was just fantastic. really enjoyed and had good time with family! Had little difficulty to store pram and collect it later. 3-4 hours good entertainment. Godzilla blinking eyes scared my kids. Had a good laugh though!
J. M.
Great for family fun. Some interactive fun to be had other than just statues. I think this one is better than the Amsterdam one. The ride near the end is the best part of the visit.
A. C.
Wonderful figures with many other surprises along the way! Souvenir shop is also very fairly priced.
M. P.
Great experience. It was really fun seeing all the famous and known people in wax! Most of them look exactly like the person itself! I absolutely loved it and had so much fun taking pictures with the sculptures!
S. C.
Bucket list day trip, its got history, it's got characters all ages will know, feeding stations all round, and toilets.
Alot of stairs, the ride with its moving taxi showing the history of the place was a nice touch, and some scary active scenes were fun for the kids like the stars wars area.
I say kids...my husband!
P. P. V.
Amazing place. Loads to see and experience. Definitely must see...
R. K. S.
Memorable experience. Longtime desire fullfilled. This is the first and the original.
Amust visit place in one's itinary, while in London. Every wax statue kept, captures one's attention, and appears so real that many times one thinks someone is really standing there.
Across ages, everyone will enjoy and cherish the display.
Added attraction are, ""Trip to London,by the iconic taxi is truly a novel experience. ". Then the Marvel series 4 D show is simy superb.
Customer care and other staff were so nice and cordial and extends warmth through their helpful attitude.
M. C.
Fantastic afternoon of fun for all the family. Wax attractions over 4 floors. Fully accessible for wheelchair users as I was in an electric wheelchair and was able to access all areas. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Allow a good 2 hours to go around everything. Suitable for all ages.
S. R.
What a lovely exhibition of life size celebrities..I had visited this place 10 years back and there is a huge difference.. the way celebrities are exhibited in various sections with its own themes is wonderful..Star War fans..this place is for you
.at the end the london history tour is so engaging for the kids
...

Loved it! Such a great experience its worth the money it was so fun alot of attraction and got surprised with a taxi ride around the history of London the wax figures look so real its alot of fun taking pictures will visit again its a must see!😊
A. B.
An amazing experience. No matter you age. Loved the time here. Fantastic staff, even though not was very busy, still took the time to ask if visitors were ok and enjoying themselves. Was asked a few time if we would like a photos all together - really nice touch. I would say MTL is a must see for all tourists and Londoners alike. The taxi ride gave the last bit of sparkle. Love the day here. Thank you to all the staff and management!
s. s.
This Museum needs no introduction. A trip to London is incomplete without visiting this museum. It is crowded so taking pictures with the statues is a task. Glad to see statues of some really deserving and popular Indian celebrities in the museum. It was fun taking crazy postures with the statues. Worth visiting once
A. A.
Amazing adventure, the best part was to ride the little taxi through the history events. Good 2 hours spent. Don't think will come back there though.
S. W.
Absolutely amazing experience. I felt like they were really there and looking at me. Definitely recommend everyone to go as its outstanding.
N. S.
It was very nice, I spent the most beautiful moments in it, I will come back again. Thanks to everyone who made this beautiful museum
A. B.
Was a good day out, lots to see inside if you could get near some of them. Pushy people ruined it a tad for us, but the little cab coaster was fun.
F. M.
Beautiful attraction. Enjoyed the train London cab ride. The Marvel 4D Cinema experience with 4D glasses is spectacular but only for 7 minutes and it's £5 per person. Very clean and tidy place. Kids friendly place. Family friendly place.
K. J.
Great place for family and friends to visit. Card payment only no cash is accepted.
Adults & kids will enjoy the 4D film which last for 15mins.
Loads of wax work of famous+ favourite celebrities to see and take photo with.
Had a great day out with the family.
Staff are very helpful.
J. S.
Bought tickets with The Sun, very great value! For a saturday afternoon it wasn'tso crowded. At the door no more tickets, everything prebooked. First time visiting and we were very impressed!
A waxwork of Madame Tussaud herself is also on display. The educational part of the tour also details how waxworks are painstakingly created with up to 200 precise measurements taken. It can take four months and around £150,000 to create a waxwork.
Also all six 007s reunited to celebrate the cinematic release of No Time To Die. The line up, featuring Daniel Craig, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan and Timothy Dalton.
B. D.
It was easy to get to. I visited on a Saturday and the place was quite busy. Pre booking tickets helped as I didn't have to wait on the queue for long. It was entertaining and worth the money. How ever additional picture prices was bit on the high end.
Z. W.
I went on a day out with my girlfriend and we had a marvelous time. It was so impressive seeing the wax figures of famous people throughout history. I was able to get some photos of my favourite celebrities. Lots of fun, I'm glad to have checked it of my list.
O. p. A.
Nice... The place has a lot to see, learning about the history of London, taking pictures with celebrities as of they were real, the marvel movie, the cab all very interesting and informative. It a good place to visit.
R. G.
Fantastic place so exciting to see it's been up graded .There is no longer a dungeon ,but a taxi cab that takes you back through time .
The models all have themed backgrounds and look so real. You can see how they were made .it's a superb and fantastic place to visit for the whole family !!!
A. F.
Lovely attraction
Good place to take photos with many celebrities
Tickets could be bought from london eye ticket machines or online from lastminute.com with more other attractions which makes the price more acceptable in total
It needs specific time to enter so book tickets in advance
a. a.
A great place to visit! It's a big place with a lot to see and a great experience. Loved the tour of London's history with the taxi.
A. C. A.
Really fun day out for family. I'd never been before and it was better than I imagined. The kids at first weren't sure if people were real and would spring to life.
Music, lighting, varied celebrities. Very interactive.
Not too busy, good ventilation and covid measures in a relaxed way
We were surprised by the Spirit of London ride, through the decades that was really enjoyable.
O. B. S.
Was really lovely, also highly recommended for families with children.
A. B.
I got the tickets without the Marvel experience and they were very expensive for what it is. We managed the whole thing in an hour and that came at £61. The photos they offer way too expensive too. It is worth visiting if you like wax figurines but not for this ridiculous high price. I visited many years ago and they had the planetarium, shame they removed that in favour of Marvel stuff, doesn't compare at all.
S.
it’s a beautiful place to visit and it’s so cool how they made celebrities out of wax
I. B.
I visited on a Monday, and it was nice and quiet…. Not too busy, so I was able to get up close with all the wax works easily. There were a number of wax works which I’m not sure who they were (I’m 41, and don’t follow pop culture closely), but most of them I knew. I was impressed with the quality of their likeness. I got through the whole place in about 90 minutes (with no rushing, or queueing).
D. H.
Birthday surprise for my husband. Loves Star Wars, so this was the main reason for going. Star Wars figures were brilliant.
J. M.
Good place to pass a couple of hours. Can get quite busy and the queues for the more popular figures could be lengthy. Fun taxi style ride half way around. The queue to get in took a while. Gift shop at the end and the option to purchase 4D tickets for the Marvel show ( as of feb 22’- this may change throughout the year?)
M. J.
We visited this atraction after 12 years and it's still famous. My son was absulettly satisfy with Avengers exhibitoons and 4D cinema. We spent in Madame Tussauds more than 3 hours and we enjoyed each minute.
R. “. W.
Our 1st visit for daughter's birthday & was enjoyed by all
A. H.
We visited as a family of four. Had read some reviews about long queues but if you come 5 mins before your allocated slot time and queue, you'll get in around 10 mins. Fast track not needed. Inside it can get congested, have to wait a minute or so in some cases to take photos but it was to be expected, everyone seemed to accept this was the norm. But in some cases be prepared to have your elbows out its just what you have to do. Also there were some wax models where my youngest was frightened so keep them close at all times. The Marvel experience was OK, cost £20 for four of us but I wouldn't pay it again. We used the kellogs 2 for 1 offer so we paid approx £85 including the Marvel Experience. I wouldn't pay anymore than this.
P. A. H.
firs time at Madame Tussauds Enjoyed the day out here especially when the 3Dmovie theatre with the link up seats that give you the effects and sound of the movie and a really good day out for the kids and also wax hand craft you could try out were they make moulds of the hand indifferent waxes

Madam Tussauds London is a unique experience. It's a great fun for me as an adult. Wish I had my kids with me , they would have enjoyed it so much especially the marvel part. I enjoyed Mo Salah photo )) the atmosphere is really nice. You would need to buy a ticket. I would recommend buying a combined ticket with London eye and shrek if have kids. This would save good amount of money if you book in advance. I booked a combined ticket with London eye which costs 45 GBP. They give you an allocated time. Arrive 15 minutes in advance for the queue. You can have breakfast in Metropolitan bar which is one minute walk and is on of the best and cheapest in central London. Inside you go through celebrity statues. You can touch and make photos. There is also a nice short marvel movie which i enjoyed and it's a 3d movie. There is also a moving car ride inside which takes you through London history in an attractive way and I would say very attractive for adults and kids. You can buy marvel coins for 2 GBP. Baker Street metro station is 2 minutes walk. Thanks for the great experience. I wish I would be there again with my kids one day.
v. v.
It's always a good experience to visit madame Tussauds...first time was in 2010 as a bachelor and second visit in 2021 with my kids...I saw same excitement on their faces as was my first visit... museum crew were very friendly and keep changing/adding features to give different feel with every visit.
R. H.
Great day out at Madame Tussaud’s. The wax work here is second to none. Amazing detail and almost every celebrity you can think of. Takes a couple of hours to complete the experience, make sure you book in advance as I saw people being turned away at the door on the weekend as tickets had sold out. Definitely recommend if you are in London!
I. P.
One of the best places I ever visited ❤ great layout, decorations, very clean, helpful staff
S. G.
Excellent day out and whole family had fun.Queues in the venue were well managed and toilets strategically placed. Lots of waxworks to see and take photos with. There's also a ride inside which was unexpected but really enjoyed it. Worth the ticket price!
E. B.
Good fun , enjoyed a lot ..not many figures but was good
s. k. t.
It has lot of attractions and well designed views of wax statues
S. M. (.
Not just another tourist attraction, it's an interactive experience. Highly recommended
D.
It's impressive how much of the statues look realistic. After the entrance there's an open space filled with statues of famous people, and at some point in the crowd you may get confused about who is real and who is fake.
There are a lot of statues and the visit is worth the price
Visited in December 2019

I loved my visit here. It was simply amazing. The real life sized figurines are worth it. The tour of London history ride was amazing
M. F.
So much more fun than before. Ok that was over a decade ago but they've upped their game! The story of London at the end is an amazingly concise and encapsulating rundown of the big smoke.
Fun place to go with the kids, especially the teens who squeaked a few times after coming across their fave pop stars & impressed me with some of the old legends they knew 😀
Have the cameras ready and be bold to get those instaworthy snaps 😘
k. z.
Great experience. It looks so small from the outside. Was surprised to see how big it is inside. Will surely come back.
R. B.
It was OK the taxi spirit of London thing is the best part . Its changed so much
C. L.
Wonderful, funny, very interesting, amazing experience, was my first time when I visit the museum and was amazing, 5 stars !
P. A.
Have not been here for a very long time but was very impressed with the way it is now laid out and with so much to see. Lots of room to move around in and get that photo with the stars. The 4D 9minute film is worth seeing even though there's a small charge.
A. R.
I really LOVE Madame Tussauds and will return there hopefully in the future
But the place is really not ventilated and unfortunately in the COVID-19 period it is better NOT to go - most people are without masks and very dangerous and all the place on air conditioner ventilation.
Wait until the world comes back - we were had a good time but then didn't
J. s.
Always love to visit here when coming to London. Very fascinating seeing all the wax models of the famous people.
j. o.
Well what can I say, you can't come to London but not visit madam Tussauds...it's world famous, crounds were to be expected and didn't disappoint..queues were commonplace and we waited about 15 to 20 mins to get in...but once in wax model's greet you from the start...it was quite busy but managed to see all of the model's and get some great photos...some famous people looked quite good but some didn't sadly... finished up with a marvel 4d film which we paid an extra 2.50 for..Some audio and special effects were built-in to your chair to go with the 3d action...it was brilliant I loved it...worth every penny.... would go again if it wasn't too busy ...and to top it off for me was on the outside opposite side... a blue plaque for lovers of carry on films ..
T. M.
Really worth a trip
Obviously, madame tussards was slightly crowded , but you was able to get around easily and everyone got a chance to have their photos taken with their favourite wax works
Loved the history of London display and the history of madam tussard herself
Takes a good 3 hours to everything
J. B.
Very long queues extending round the corner. We were slightly late for our time slot and were let into a shorter queue, which was very much appreciated. I had an issue with the tickets, but a lovely lady just took me to oneside and printed off some more using the booking reference number.
Once inside, it was quite cramped in some places. Not wanting to hang around in the more crowded places we moved on missing some of the exhibits unfortunately. Other than that it was a nice end to a day out in London.
S. W.
It has to be seen to be believed. The artistry. The variety. That ride in the middle? Fantastic. We have Merlin passes so we visit quite their attractions as often as we can. Always worth it
S. B.
Brilliant day out for families of all ages. We went as a family of 4 adults during term time and virtually had the place to ourselves. Definitely worth a visit - we can't wait to return.
T. K.
One of the classic must see attractions in London. The price is steep, but I was honestly surprised by how much there was to see and experience. It's quite immersive, much more than just wax dummies!
A. M.
It was an amazing experience. The history of the museum was very inspiring. The details of every sculpture was so detailed that we feel a real connection with them. Thank you Marie Tussaud for your wonderful contribution to the future generations...
K. P.
Book early, take a few hours seeing absolutely everyone and everything. Amazing time had in Madame Tussauds.. Great models of celebrities from film, television, music, sports and politics.. and of course the Royal family. We took our time going around letting people pass who were in a rush.. for true Star Wars fans (like me) take tour time here...
A. m. A. (.
It's a wax museum abit fun ! I like the taxi tour most and the dark alleys . Avoid Crowded days! Better to book through online!
E. C.
I haven't been to Madame Tussauds in years. It was amazing. Loved every minute of it. Lots of stairs to walk up and down
M. P.
Amazing ,everyone inside is so real and so many great people ,we had lots of fun visiting this venue
F. P.
Very nice experience. Had loads of fun and would be a great place for family as well.
R. G.
Pre-booked tickets highly recommended. Queues were round the corner otherwise. Disability assistance faultless throughout. Exhibits set out in themes and totally realistic. Excellent venue to visit.

Awesome place.. must visit atleast once..
Try to book these attractions through Merlin pass.. Great deals available
S. M.
I really like how many famous people there are in here but there are also lots of not very famous people too who I've never heard of. I don't understand celebrities these days so many people who are famous for doing nothing but oh well if you want to see them then this is the place to go the people I did know were very easy to recognise but I don't know how accurate the sculptures were of the people I've never heard of because they could look like anything! I still had a lot of fun though
C. T.
Fun amusement in London. The figures are extremely realistic. Many different scenes. A little bit for everyone. The car ride in the middle was a bit of a surprise and a good tid bit in London. It can get very busy on the weekends. Prepare for crowds.
L. M.
Fantastic experience. Over two hours of wax figures and a ride! Lots of fun and photos ops!
P. C.
Had a great time, last went there years ago, star wars was brilliant, enjoy yourselves 😀
P. M.
Really enjoyed this! The statues are amazing and the Spirit of London tour/ride was a huge bonus. Also enjoyed the 4D Marvel Experience although a bit short.
A.
Online booking easy and appreciated the option to amend the date up to five times! Post lock down the arrival was smooth but it was quite busy inside... understand they can have up to 4000 visitors a day. I did wonder what the visit would have been like under restrictions and one way systems so perhaps an easier flow from one to another. Some wax works we had hoped to see were not present however the work that goes into creating then was really impressive. Prior to the movie quick stop at snack stand ...the waffles with chocolate sauce was enjoyed by the little people in the group very much. Watched the Marvel Movie 4D at the end which was okay but I think I would have preferred the one I saw when I was a kid about the solar system I think. Reading about Madame Tussauds was interesting as I had not known of how it came about. The ride with London through the ages was nice and a welcome sit down. Alien exhibition with more interactive 'scary' would have added further to that part. Loved little ET and Big Shrek and cosing up to George Clooney.
D. A.
Nice place with great attractions.
But, if you have baby up to 3, don't recommend to take with you:
1: Baby buggies/strollers are not accepted.
2: There are some scary fragments which will stress so much (as minimum) the baby.
J. P.
Fantastic a must visit when in London. The taxi ride was our favourite bit. It does get a bit crowded inside so wouldn't recommend for those vulnerable or concerned with covid
G. A.
Very magnificent place, historically it’s running from Mary Tussaud, statues of famous celebrities, kings, queens and many more. The statue of the Queen,King Henry,William Shakespeare.I highly recommend you this wonderful place of fun and looking at statues and most necessarily the reality of the statues. The statue of Famous boxers, prime ministers,Harry and Meghan and Madam Diana.
We have a beautiful day with my kids during school holidays, unfortunately the waiting que was very long to get into the museum and it was massively over crowded. But once we been thru the security check and started viewing the statues, we all loved it including my three children. The taxi ride thru different parts of simulated London areas with music and guided commentary was amazing.
Last but not least, Marvel 3D Hall of heroes, short movie was amazing, I would say it’s must do thing in Madam Tussauds London.
R. S.
Make sure you pre-book the tickets. Kids have fun. Used to be ticket included the 4d film now you have to pay £5. 10 minutes 4d for £5 is little bit of ripped off. But overall kids have enjoyed.
T. M.
A good experience for all. As expected some, including the latest little mix models, were amazing and some not so amazing (Tom Hanks, Madonna). Wax hand experience was enjoyed by my youngest. Very busy and recommend booking the 4D marvel experience too.
L. K.
Thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Make sure to get the extra ticket for the Marvel 3D superhero show. Its really good. You need to book a time slot for your visit.
C. D.
10/10 Experience loved me careful of the live actors
C. C.
Finally got round to visiting Madame Tussauds, very close to the tube station which is nice, the wax figures are incredibly detailed and extremely realistic, amazing really to look at, however despite an amazing display and plenty of wax replicas, I expected it to be larger, I thought there would be more there than there was, therefore I felt £30 for entry was slightly overpriced, still glad I experienced it though, probably good for visiting just once or twice.
K. G.
Love visiting here always a great experience
M. J.
Can’t say the difference between real and fake
Such a beautiful art work.it was a awesome experience
Definitely recommend everyone to visit this place
a.
Cordial service staff. Better if they could increase the range of statues. Some had been removed and new ones added. X men section was not there now which I missed so badly. 4 D experience was nice but overpriced.
B. B.
A fantastic several hours going through the maze that is Madame Tussauds. Though is does get very busy and cramped inside. The taxi ride was great showing the history of London. And to finish it off the 4D marvel experience which was decent but nothing to shout about.
P. M.
Great place. Been 4 times now, always different and improved.
D. W.
Really enjoyed the experience really displayed well great place for all the family spent a good 3 hrs very magical friendly staff good for value
m. a.
One of the most famous wax museums. He likes to put it in the plan when visiting London. I wish to put the name of each character and his achievements
G. G.
Great experience, Wax statues looks alive . Very well organized and fair prices for tickets.
E. P.
Really amazing place to visit, lot's of fun, especially the taxi ride.
M. D.
Visited during half term as an adult couple with no kids. Was extremely busy but very well organised by the staff, they put you in timeslot queues and very quick moving through security. The models are very life like and the best part is the ride in taxi's through British history, would highly recommend visiting just maybe not during half term if you don't have kids.
H. G.
We absolutely loved our visit here. We mainly came for the star wars exhibit but actually ended up enjoying all of the displays! Highly recommended
T.
Quite a big place. I spent almost 2,5 hours in order to enjoy every exhibit. Some of them were looking a bit off, others were 100% perfect.
T. C.
Great experience, much better than I was expecting - it's so much more than just waxworks! A journey through London's history, Madame Tussauds' history, as well as meeting some celebrities! The only issue is the price is quite steep.
E. T.
So much better then last time!! So much to see and I absolutely loved it! So fun and I spent ages there would recommend :) Was crowded but I didn't mind
R. M.
My first visit to Madams Tussauds
We took the fast track tickets which was good enough, but will suggest to buy the London eye and Madam Tussauds combined as that will be cheaper for you.
The museum was that not busy and we spent good amount of time with all statue's
Didn't get to see some statue's which I wanted to see personally, will be going back for them.
S. K.
D. W.
This is a great experience for all ages. There are stars of film, music, sports, royalty and political life. The Star Wars and Marvel sections were a highlight.
M. R.
The ride was really fun to go on and there are so many celebs to take pictures with - however the shrek was a little bit scary!! Why did it have eyelashes 😩😩
s. F.
Such a great time with my friends
at Madame Tussaud’s. I’m not a big fan of celebrities but these statues look so real !!
Definitely worth the visit !
S. T. P. (. S.
Amazing experience, not too crowded at this time of the year. Waxed figures are very detailed and realistic. Staff is friendly and helpful. It should definitely be on everyone's bucket list.
V. D.
Amazing realistic wax figures wonderful.staff ..I lost my phone and security returned it to me which was such a relief!! Well worth a visit...
J. R.
My son and I had a brilliant time here. It was a fun way to spend a couple of hours in the capital.
L. C.
Loved visiting this attraction! Used our Merlin passes so didn't have to pay thankfully.
Would've given 5 stars but it was a bit crowded, think too many people were let in at once. Also bit disappointed that the 4D cinema had to be paid for - thought the Merlin passes would give us discount at least but they didn't. If we'd have paid to go in then certainly wouldn't have done the 4D cinema, as it was only 3 of our family did it and that's because children were desperate to experience it.
Did expect there to be a few more British TV stars but was still lovely to see the wax figures that were there (when we could get close enough without them being crowded!!).
Loved the taxi ride!
Would've been nice if there was a way to skip the 'scary' old London bit as children didn't like it but dashed through quick!!
P. N.
This us an amazing place visited with a lady who had mobility issues felt extremely supported by the main staff but also there was a gentleman who was cleaning the rails etc who remained aware and near us. Then Jay was very helpful towards the end. The figurines are just so real it was fab . Hope they eventually have a cafe for us to recap but can 100% recommend
C. G.
Great place to visit.
The taxi ride was rather fast & the information was not always easy to catch - also too fast.
Could do with a cafe on site but we did find one close by.
A. P.
Great experience for all ages, good and current sculptures aswell as great history ride.
F. a.
The only place for kids i guess my daughter had fun there is a train ..
V. S.
Really great place with amazing figures. Just thought there was even more figures many years ago when i last visited it. Now there is also a little ride ind the basement that is about Englands history. It seemed a little random at the end.
M. C.
It is the most beautiful and very spectaculous place of London - you have to visit it. It is really FANTASTIC!!!👍👍👍
S. H.
4D marvel experience is great, my 11 year old son loved it. A great opportunity for many photos with your favourite celebrities. Our visit lasted around 1hr 45mins.
I. L.
Hi there
I love London as a whole any way,
I visit London quite frequently,
Been to Madame Tussauds before twice,
My recent visit was an experience in 2022 Some old faces some new added faces some taken out,
Is it value for money,
A little on the expensive side in my humble opinion £68 for two people entry into the Madame Tussauds,
I would recommend a visit as if you're going in a family group it's much cheaper
G. D.
The staff were brilliant even went out of their way to try to find us a Shrek doll today and we also managed a photo. Thanks you made our day.
Z. D.
Really was an amazing experience. This was definitely our favourite London activity on our trip. There are lots of different themed areas throughout to experience. There are a couple of scary sections however you can opt out of these easily with young children by just going a different route and still loads to see. The models were so realistic and scenes so well done.
I. M.
One of the best experiences about my trip to London thanks to Zoe (Tussauds), even though it was sadly very busy due to some of the school children being off we managed to take in all the exhibits and got some great photos, the taxi drive through the history of London and the 3D marvel experiences are particular highlights. We had a VIP experience and it was truly amazing, having our own personal guide taking us through the sections and answered all our questions, we even got a goodie back with all sorts of stuff in it. Its always going to be an interesting visit to Tussauds as they keep revamping it with new waxworks, so you'll never know who you'll see next. The queue when we arrived was extremely long wrapped right around the building, so I would definitely always pay the extra for priority entrance its so worth it. But for the best experience try going outside any school holidays and on a weekday, its very unlikely you'll be disappointed, I wasn't and it was chocka.
J. J.
Love seeing new additions from the last time I visited. Enjoyed ourselves, will visit in the future
I. K.
The great possibility I was there with my elderly mum. There really helpful stuff. They helped to get lifts or special platform to avoid stairs. This really helpful for people with mobility difficulties. My mom dream to meet Quinn Elizabeth, there was nice experience to get a photo with her copy.
L. H.
Booked the tickets with the 4d marvel show as a treat for my husbands birthday.
We thoroughly enjoyed and the staff made a special effort to make sure everyone he passed wished him a happy birthday and the security team even sang to him on the way in!
It was very clean and well organised, the 4D show was a lot of fun, I did think we would be actually watching a marvel film but it was an animation put together for the theatre I think but it was still worth it.
The taxi ride inside was a highlight for us and the Alien section was mind blowing.
Well done to all involved from start to finish, we will be back.
M. M.
I can only give this place 3 stars this time because I compare to what it was like Pre-Covid. Gone are the great Cinema sensory experience as well as the automated ride through London on railed Cabs. Perhaps they've tried to fill this gab with more static displays and several other experiences, but not as good.
Great time to visit with schools back, not a single person queuing to get in. Still worth a visit, just not as good as previously.
L. V.
Amazing place! Worth to visit at least once in a life time!
J. J.
Really lovely few hours. A real mix of people there we could pose with. Felt quite busy and we kept taking mask off then putting it off.
A few frustrations - queued for food for 5 mins to find out we were in a photo queue. The sign was on the wrong side which led to confusion. Then they only had 1slushy flavour - you pay £5 for the cup! Then the popcorn was salted not sweet but we had eaten it so they wouldn't refund! No sign to tell us and we got 2. £15 was a lot to pay for those.
Loved the 4D Marvel show. Short but good fun.
All in all a good day but could have been better.
C. “. A.
It was really entertaining to meet famous celebrities inside the museum where they are people can take a selfie with them or gain more experience of how to get to know them very well. My family and I loved it there and I wanna go back again.
J. W.
Wow what a fantastic fun-filled time🤩! I took my elderly Mum as it was her 80th birthday & we hadn't been there for years. A superb attraction & the staff were BEYOND helpful to my lovely Mum (especially Dan who went above & beyond kindness). Mum was in a wheelchair & they could not have been more attentive if they tried...they wanted to make sure that she had an amazing experience too🤩. The figures themselves are 'jaw-droppingly' brilliant & the photos that you can take are hilarious. An absolute MUST SEE if you pop up to London. Thank you from my heart everyone!🥰
A. N.
My second time visiting Madame Tussauds and I loved it just as much as I did 15yrs ago!
S. G.
So...real the celebrities. It was fantastic the whole experience from start to finish. 😁😀
A. M.
Had a wonderful morning around Madame Tussauds. The wax works are just amazing and so life like. I thought it was busy ish, it wasn't they were wax works haha. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. Due to social distancing, you have to wear a mask but it wasn't busy or over crowded at all and a very pleasant morning. Definitely an attraction worth visiting.
C. W.
Absolutely loved it here we had amazing time all the staff were very helpful and very friendly a great place for families of all ages l would probably buy the tickets online to be honest as you can get some great deals definitely give it a try
S. H.
Good but not wonderfully..... I thik inside lighting need to be more better. As i think...
W. E.
Many figures were removed. Their POS didn't accept my credit card although it is working everywhere.
The shops don't accept any cash which is really strange since most international visitors have credit cards that had the same issue as mine.
T. L.
The place is just lovely, makes you feel important and like an authentic superstar. I can't wait to come back. 100% recommended.
H. M.
We'll worth the money, we all had a great time
r. z.
This is an excellent place to visit, if you are at London. Really a good time pass. But I wouldn't recommend paying additional 5£ for the marvel 3D, as it is not at all entertaining.
M. V.
Was lovely and we enjoyed seeing all the statues which looked so real.
M. C.
This place is a lot of fun if you have a discount voucher, I do not think it was worth the full price of admission and note the signs of age restrictions some attractions should not be followed with young kids.
Z. L. (. S.
Wow after so many year of postponing it I finally made it and was extraordinary experience
D.
A great place to spend a couple of hours in London, you could easily mistake a wax model for a real life person. Some have that realistic glint in their eyes, i found the model of WILL.I.AM to be one such model.
Staff were very helpful in resolving an issue we had with tickets (our tickets were rescheduled from another date due to the pandemic)
Great job guys
B. A.
A lovely afternoon out with family. Lots of variety of famous people and their wax figures. A little disappointed with the marvel section since not many of them have been turned into wax models. However the 4D marvel was definitely worth it!
M. W.
Well worth the visit, and definitely do the 4D experience
M.
Great experience I got my tickets via tastecard so made a saving, which I was happy with, but was a great day out.. loads of pictures, great memories made here.
R. K.
Its a must visit place and should be in your itinerary if you are visiting london. This time after 9 years I could see that the charm has reduced a bit. There were less number of wax statue then they used to be in 2012. Still i would always visit whenever i am in London.
E. M.
Super cool, first person I saw was the amazing and beautiful benedict cumberbatch and Tom hiddleston(not the real one unfortunately)- would have loved to see him in his loki costume though-I loved this place but it was slightly terrifying
k. h.
Brilliant fun ever get a London Taxi ride. Attraction takes about hour and half and you get to take photos with loads of famous people. Buy yourself a Discovery Merlin pass for £89 ticket last a year and lets you into loads of attraction around the UK, but check the block out dates
A. S.
All my life I have been dreaming to have a picture with Diana. Finally found the place where my dreams came true. Thank you very much for helping us to make a memories
U. C.
Madame Tussauds London is full of surprises, which is not be missed when you visit London. I thought it was just a wax museum like the one in Sydney Australia but it is not. At the end of the tour you will get on the London mini cabs which will take you on amazing journey which is called Pride of London which will show you how London was rebuilt after it got destroyed by the great London fire 🔥🔥. You will enjoy your visit for sure👍
R. M.
For some reason I wasn't expecting much, but went with the kids, it was great and they loved it.
Pre-booked online and went straight in on time, none of the long queues that had put me off before.
Not too many people, even on a Sunday, so we could get some fun photos.
I would recommend it.
R. N.
Fourth day in London. This place was awesome and our probably the most memorable! It has several surprises, which I will not spoil here. When I think the museum has ended, we'll round another corner and there will be even more wax figures. If you are over 7 years old, I can't imagine you not enjoying Madame Toussauds. Wow!
S. G.
The sculpture exhibition was not bad but they should be renovated every so often in my opinion.
The figures are from many years ago, I thought it was more recent.
M. G.
At first, it scared me, i though it was real, but no it's sculptured realisticly. People have amazing talents like this! I really loved it. I would recommend to visit!
P. C.
It was everything l wished to see and more. Madame Tussauds gave me value for my money. The staff were so friendly, kind, nice and very helpful.
S. A.
Nice and fun place for kids.
L. H.
The attraction itself was brilliant. I hadn’t been for years so decided to take my son for the first time. We did lots over the weekend, London Dungeons, Shrek Adventure and the London Eye. This was our last.
As I said this was our last and although the inside was brilliant I found the staff outside organising the very large queue rude with little tolerance. I saw one of the employees getting very annoyed with someone who spoke little English, enough for my 11 year old to comment “she seems really rude mum, like the man at the start, the nicest person we’ve seen so far is at the ticket office”… now he’s an 11 year old who barely says anything so for him to notice I thought hmmm that is bad.
It might not seem fair to leave a 3 star but if that’s a child’s first impressions maybe some training to the staff working the queues outside should have a little more training in how to deal with more complex situations. I appreciate they are trying to do things quickly to keep things moving but a bit more empathy for those who speak little English needs to be had.
Appart from that we had a great time inside and found the staff friendly and helpful.
B. H.
Great experience. One of the most famous attractions in London. We enjoyed lot specially the Taxi ride.
S. P.
Such a fun day out. Very quiet so was able to take pics in our own time. Great place to visit
B. H.
Had a lovley day good fun one thing they don't take cash in the shop as we never had our cards on us had 4 very upset kids who had to put their stuff back apart from that friendly helpful staff pleasant day out
O. M.
Went there with my daughter, there's something for everyone. Initially I thought its just a house with wax figures of famous people, however there's much more to that. Kids and grown ups will be equally entertained. It is truly experience worth paying money for! What's also great that they're keep on improving, so I'm looking forward to seeing it again soon!
B. O. V.
May be the best wax museum in the world, wax museum in London which was founded by wax sculptor Marie Tussaud. This was one of my most favourite spot longed to be visited in London. It is one of the major tourist attraction in London, displaying the waxworks of famous and historical figures, as well as popular film and television characters played by famous actors. There is a show of UKs culture which can be seen through a toy train journey inside the Dome.
s. r.
One of the best tourist attraction for every visitor of London. It's ambience and statues are just euphoric. Must visit place at Baker Street, London
T. F.
Kitchy but a fun time, especially with kids. Pretty good value for money. Personally I preferred the 1st half then it turned very Disney.
S. L.
We booked our tickets in advance and spend a good few hours touring the exhibits. Lots of photographs taken and the spirit of London taxi ride was good. My five year old loved the Marvel 4D experience.
H. R.
Very nice day out and fully recommended. Make sure you shop around for deals however as everywhere seems to offer some discount. They weren't stemming he flow of people in so that was causing some congestion at most if the waxworks but overall a very friendly clean and enjoyable visit. Great for kids and adults alike and if you get to do the 4d marvel experience I would wholeheartedly recommend that also. No real Negatives other than I wished there had been even more waxworks to see!
D. B.
It was quite entertaining for the first time customer to witness the live like figures of actors that grace the screens in our homes. To touch the hair ..placed strand by strand....to look into the perfect eyes and stand among royalty. I expected more celebrities, the ones that made big impacts...but then after listening to Beyoncé's testimony....I guess one has to agree to do it ...and that's a painstaking 3 months. So kudos to the ones who did it!
The black cab/trainride through time...fantastic! I wanted to repeat it!
Need more souvenirs like mini wax figures in the souvenir shop
My 4 stars are mostly for the Marvel 4D cinema experience...because it was too short! I need more...almost had me jumping out my seat!
Can't wait to visit another museum.
B. K.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Got us sorted out and made us feel welcomed. Very good disabled Access. The rides were fun. Only thing i would say is that it was full. Too many people in one place in each others faces. Should be less crowded because you dont get a proper chance to look around and take pics. Other than that it was good. Disabled parking right next to exit.
R. T.
Visited way back in 2013 (+/- a year). It was fun. I imagine, it's even more thrilling nowadays with new wax figures.
H. R.
What a brilliant morning out. So many waxworks so see and the marvel show was great too. Experience made even better by the wonderful service we received when my 3 year old fell over and bashed his face (totally his own fault). A first aider was there almost instantly and was great with my son, calming him down and providing an ice pack. Even gave some free popcorn and sweets to cheer him up. Thank you Adam (I think!), you were great.
M. I.
Amazing experience! You must go there!
A. K.
First time I've been in a long time, very good going round and wax works are brilliant. Also done the Marvel 4D show which was very good and the whole family enjoyed it thoroughly. Great start to the day in London.
P. R.
It was OK, half the people I didn't know although the Tom Cruise and Tom Hanks models only just about looked like the real thing.
C. M.
If you’re good for Long queue to see this entertaining wax museum, then please do so visit this place when you’re in London.
You will see a lot of familiar faces from politics, athletes, celebrities and performers around the world. It should take you about 2hrs or more depending on how soon or long you want to check everything.
We came here and really got a long queue since it’s Saturday in spite of the condition of weather outside. If I’m not mistaken you’ll pay about £65 only for this attraction and less with 1 more attraction to choose. We didn’t book online when we came here, so I suggest you book online and schedule when you want to visit this place along with other attraction perhaps lesser people.
For me overall I’m happy as a kid. Worth to visit. I think you can bring your own food while on
queue or else they have vending machine for some snacks. And buy meals inside the
museum with some souvenirs.
G. M.
This place was so beautiful. Number of celebrities like Hollywood actress, Bollywood actress, political presidents,etc.., it's great work of Madam Tussauds Wax museum. The sculptures looks realistic. It takes 1 - 2hrs to complete the museum. Its great opportunity to visit museum. Especially marvel comic heroes, and anime heroes also there. Moreover after complete the visit there shopping center also there u can purchase toys and etc.., After visiting complete if u want u can get souvenir coins as well.
k. r.
Have great fun, definitely worth a visit.
L. W.
We went for daughters 14th birthday had really good day she loves Harry
L. T.
Very lovely place for tourist.. All your favorite celebrities in wax and so real.. Real tour round. Get your camera ready for pictures.. Lots of fun .. Tour round the horror sections, history .. Lots of fun for a price not too bad. Sure in for lots of adventures. Always worth a visit a good laugh and some really impressive work
M. B.
Excellent really enjoyed it. Children loved wax works lots of selfish took. Loved English history ride but the best thing by far was the Marvel 4D experience best £5 I have spent in London.
L. H.
I loved every second ❤️ it was so good but so busy.. I would love to come again and again like a child it was so nice experience for me .
far better then I was thinking
Well done guys you do really good job gere
P. G.
The experience was good. Lots of different statues to suit everyone. My grand daughter had a wax hand made. Loved the taxi ride. My only major concern was hardly anyone wore a mask and there were lots of people all in the one place
E.
I visited this iconic museum 10 years ago. On my revisit I expected lots of changes and 10s of new statues, but only very few, the old ones were redressed and re arranged.
C. C.
Madame Tussauds is one of the best experiences to get in London. From children to adults there is a wide range of attractions like the marvel celebrities or singers, politicians etc.
It has been a fantastic experience to take photos with celebrities like Beyonce, Dua Lipa, Britney Spears, Michael Jackson, Johnny Deep, Angelina Jolie and many many others. Also at the end you get a ride with a mini train and see ilustrated history of Britain that looks very realistic and has lots of details. After there are souvenir shops and also you can take your photos home.
Reccomend to visit!

Great place to see

S. L.
A trip for 3 or more hours. 3 hours of unforgetable experience. Great location, kind and helpful staff. Great proportion experience to price. Something amazing. I would come back and recommend.

Madame Tussauds was a good outing with my child.
On a rainy half term day, we took the underground to Baker Street. Few steps away from Madame Tussaud. The queue was minimal, and the person crowd managing was good; we were quite quickly directed to the inside.
The wax museum is in fact quite much more than just a wax museum and we had a great time. In short: (1) We were greeted my Michael Bubble and Britney Spears and then many more. (2) I was surprised how some of these famous people are actually smaller or taller than you. Past President Barak Obama is very tall. (3) From political figures and dear Lady Diana, to all the various James Bond standing all together, to Audrey Hepburn, to sports stars, and the heroes of Marvel Studio (including (spoiler alert) a 3D short session in a cinema seeing the action with your own eyes which was really fun – I mean seeing in actions Hulk, spider man, captain America and Miss Marvel, Hawkeye, Thor, the Iron Man and many others) and the first Star Wars heroes. (4) There was also an incursion through time between 1666 great fire of London, the Napoleonic wars, Winston Churchill and more modern times whilst seated in a small train which is in fact half taxis linked together and moving from right to left gently whilst moving forward through this time loop – it was great fun for me and my child.
Really, it was amazing and the team at Madame Tussaud are working really hard to entertain us and regularly change their exhibit: so, thank you. Your circuit, when you visit, may be totally different because this is what the team on site do for our entertainment.
The end of the circuit lead to the souvenir shop.
I hope your visit will be as good as was ours. Enjoy.
A. P.
An amazing experience , value for money .. a must see !
e. m.
It is a bit dated. I feel that it has been left to what it used to be once a very nice place to visit , and it’s neglected. Lots of the actors displayed there are so young , you don’t even recognise them now. They are 10/15 years younger.
It used to be filled with more celebrities, from what 8 remember.
Also there is a nice little corner , in the middle of the museum where you can have your hand waxed , but it takes about 15’, for each person to do it. There is only one person to serve ! Which means if there are 4 people that want to do it in front of you , you have to wait for an hour in the queue!
Whereas they could have that at the end of the museum , in the gift shop , with more staff , serving customers.
Not impressed.
J. L.
Historic venue...must visit for everyone..real life celebrity figures..❤👌
N. B.
We visited here yesterday and had a lovely time. The wax models look very realistic and we had great fun in the taxi ride. So much to do here and something for all the family. We paid extra for the 4D marvel show and it was worth every penny. High recommend!
N. M.
Excellant, first time here with daughter. Much better than blackpool one. We especially loved the black cab ride in there which is free.
p. d.
There are few words to describe the spectacle. The ticket may seem very expensive at first but it really is not. It is worth seeing on his trip to London. Some wax units need refurbishing. The star wars theme I think is the best with the marvel avengers. The smell in the Alien corridor is almost emetic, thankfully it ended before I finished ...
G. T.
Awesome experience. Worth the money. Great staffs and a look to see. Thank you for giving me a great time.
R. A.
It's a fantastic place!!! No regrets the price is worth the quality of this Attraction.
H. C.
Brilliant time here, very impressed with everything from the wax models to the ride and then the 4d Cinema.....highly recommended
D. A. M.
Another place to visit when in London. Book in advance or join the queue an the entrance. The staff is nice. Don't be surprised if your friend visit's and says you see a famous person's figure there and when you visit it won't be there. During the year the figures are relocated to the different Madame Tussaud's museums around the world. The figures are very nicely done, there's a small part of the museum where they explain how the figures are prepared. Good to go with family, friends, or even on a date. Public transport next to the museum. Another 2 places to visit are The Sherlock Holmes Museum and Regent's Park which are right around the corner. The closest tube station is Baker Street, 5 minutes walk to the museum.
M. M.
It was my second visit. And that one was strange. Have you ever dream about visiting museum after hours? So you can spend as much time as you want in any place? So you can closely look at everything? Now it's possible.
J. H.
Nice place to visit not to busy plenty of opportunities to take photos with you're favourite stars witch are so life-like. The background music can be a bit loud though but a Very nice place to visit and at £30.50 a ticket it's not to expensive these days
M. E. H.
Very busy and crowded, best to get a fast track ticket otherwise you will be in a queue for a while. Massive tour with dozens of wax figures, multiple studio characters, cinema 4D, indoor taxi tour and other forms of entertainment. Easily accessible and not too far from the London zoo. The staff was friendly and we had a great time
S. M.
Most of the statues are horribly done, but there are some exceptions.Spirit of london experience was good but felt short.
S. L.
Most of the wax works are amazing but a few nothing like the original. Really recommend the marvel 4d cinema
G. S.
It is a great place to take the kids and see what celebrities look like. But remember, it is wax work and not the real celebrities you are seeing/taking pictures with! Best part was the tour ride about London history. We were short of time, so we had to rush around a bit. So, leave around 2 hours for a good tour.
s. c.
Best Madame Tussauds museum in the world. Good protocol for social distancing!
F. M.
Beautiful Wax Museum. World famous tourist attraction and place. Took 3 hours to see and explore the whole museum. Souvenirs shop is huge but costly. Many statues were removed from display like Freddie Mercury, Nelson Mandela, Michael Jackson, Amitabh Bachchan, Amy Winehouse, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, etc. which was a disappointment as they ship them around the world in exchange for different statues. History about Madame Tussauds is fascinating! London Taxi cum train ride was free and exciting! Marvel 4D show was for 7 minutes with glasses for £5 per person was worth it. No proper restaurant full time is a negative. Only cafes available. No sitting areas demarcated for Senior Citizens.
A. M.
Great experience, maybe it's unique in a lifetime, but some of the characters, don't seem so real, as Kate Winslet or Ronaldo. Also, I didnt like to see that Princess Diana was alone, but......
Z. M.
Great experience watching all those vax figures and knowing what actually happened to London back in the 16 or 17 century After Jesus Christ came to the world :-)
How long did the big fire in London took part in your lifes, a few years?
l. m.
An amazing place to visit, definitely worth the money
D. J.
Very nice place, but also expensive. But If you Like wax figures and Madame Tussauds, you should Go Here.
B. H.
Very interesting and a great experience, bring the family and take your time walking through. Appreciate the work that was done
L. D.
Staff were very helpful and friendly, it was lovely and clean. Great day out for all ages with fantastic displays and lots of information.
L. M.
Really loved it here. Much bigger than I expected.
It was pretty busy on a weekday so I can only imagine visiting on a weekend would be a bit too much.
Be careful not to miss any wax works amongst the crowd of people.
Our visit included a Marvel 3D screen experience (glasses were given). Really good fun to pose with the "stars".
m. n.
We visited Madame Tussauds, London Eye & Sealife Aquarium & they were all very enjoyable & well worth the money!
All the staff work so hard to make our experience in the attractions a very good day out.
We took so many photos as a lovely momento of our lovely but very tiring day!
Would definitely recommend a visit to all 3 attractions!
j. g.
An awesome place to visit. You can spend more than 3 hours if you love photography. Take selfies with wax statues of world famous celebrities. All statues looks so real. After the statues you can watch a marvel 4D video. And also a walk through London's History too. Best experience. The ticket cost is 35 Pounds.
b. p.
Fun place to visit to fill in some time like most things in London however it was very busy especially around the 'bond' section. It's work upgrading to see the 4d marvel cinema it was cool and was loved by kids and adults.
V. S.
Good place to go once. 4D show was amazing. Marvel sculptures were very good.
M. B.
Too many people, we could hardly read the signs... Everything is too hyper, not for everyone. Apart from that, the staff was really nice and helpful.
f. v.
Beautifully maintained and very realistic models. Great experience
N.
Had an awesome time at Madame Tussauds today. It was so much more than we had expected. Really enjoyed posing and taking pictures with all the wax figures there. Some very nice staff members took pictures of us with The Rock and The Royal Family. The movie set scenes were so well done. They really made full and creative use of their space, fitting so many sets and experiences, making it like the Tardis in there. Really enjoyed Aliens, Kong Island, Star Wars, Old England, Cab ride, Madame Tussaud set, Marvel Superheroes, 4D Marvel experience. Even loved being startled by the statues which came alive!! Brilliant!! Love it all. Many thanks to their lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.
S. C.
My favourite museum loved taking the family to see the legendary wax figures. Had a lovely day trip in London for my daughters birthday and enjoyed the experience. Covid safe friendly.
N.
Alot of fun! Only issue at the moment is having to wear face masks everywhere and taking photos with everything in a mask is kinda lame. But we still had a great time.
R. F.
Fun morning spent here posing with celebs! Could do with a few more new people as some are a bit dated. Good value with the multi pass. No queues as booked in advance and let us in 30mins before our booking which was brilliant.
U. C. S.
One of the best attractions in London which is a must watch and don't miss location. Tickets are also available on offers sometimes I would definitely suggest visiting this iconic spot. I went with my partner and it was definitely the most surreal experience I've had in my entire life! Some of the statues are so lifelike and it's almost weird seeing them face-to-face. Definitely worth going
B. T.
I went to this place as a child and it was totally different. Now you can stand with the models and take photos with them ! I did feel a little bit uncomfortable with the way some people didn't respect other people's personal space. The wax works were amazing !!! Well worth the visit.
K. H.
Very Quiet, we got there on a Tuesday at 12:30 and finished in an hour. Lots to see, a good activity to do if you're interested in wax figures and celebrities. No hidden surprises, exactly what you expect. Book tickets online and in advance and you save money. Some parts were closed when we visited like the 4d marvel cinema and there are additional areas for a charge that we did not visit. You can get link tickets to include other London attractions too like the London Eye and sea life centre too online.
w. p.
I've not been to madame tussauds for over 30 years. but it was still as good as I could remember from being a child. just more up-to-date celebrities 😁
B. A.
Me and my husband visited London on our honeymoon two weeks ago, we enjoyed every second in Madam Tussaud. It is a day to remember.
A. A.
I enjoyed every single moment , it is beyond amazing place to visit and spend time at. The organisation and show technology is jaw dropping literally.
P. L.
Nice place to visit. Can be crowded so better to go early. So many wax figures to see plus many additional experiences. Marvel 4D movie and the Spirit of London rides were great. Sherlock Holmes experience was dramatic but missing the suspense.
S. H.
Wide selection of wax figures, from sports personalities to politicians and musicians. Also an amazing new addition was the marvel hall of heroes and 4D film which was very entertaining. Also the Pride of London ride was very entertaining. Overall a very enjoyable experience.
J. N.
Loved seeing the people I liked in wax. James Bonds were brilliant. Loved the history of Madame Tussauds, interesting lady. Had a great day out and enjoyed the taxi ride, so different.
M. P.
One of the best Madame Tussaud’s in the world and best place to see celebrities with almost 95% same as real celebrities.
Best place to have fun with kids 😁.
S. D.
We have visited this place on 1st of Jan, 2018. There was an hour long queue to get an entry. Few of the wax statues were really good. Looks pretty real. Do not miss the 4D show included in ticket. Worth a visit. 2 minutes walk from Baker Street Tube station.
S. F.
Fun for a one off, nice ride through scenes of London and generally fun. Would need more waxworks to be worth going more than every 10 years. Also had lots not suitable for young children and no obvious way to avoid walking through those exhibits, so it could scare a little one.
H. M.
So much fun there. And the staff is very kind and helpful
E. A.
Great few hours some wait times for certain celebrities photos.
Can get drinks on site plenty of toilet facilities which was clean.
Staff could smile a little more but helpful. Something for all the family woukd return and recommend.
Lots of stairs but lifts available if needed.
M. R.
Reduced visitor numbers helped make the visit comfortable and not too crowded, but I think a lot of the exhibits might therefore have been put away to prevent too much crowding round them. The ones left on display were a good mix of historical characters, living and deceased infamous or famous characters, film stars, musicians etc. Overall very satisfied with venue for what I paid (£45 as part of a 3 way offer to go on the London Eye, and London Dungeon as well)
D. d.
Incredible, it's worth of time and bucks anyone spends. Every wall and corner have been designed for taking photos to savor lifelong memories. Thoroughly enjoyed. Obviously, being of a global reputation, remains crowded even on week days which any one can experience especially in the last few sections..
Yet,no doubt, a strongly recommendation place..
M. C.
It's a bit boring and repititive in my opinion -- a bit overrated. Personally I'm not interested in taking pictures of myself standing next to any famous people, wax or not, so I suppose this place isn't really for me. My girlfriend seemed to love it though.
R. P.
Place of wax statues of legends who excelled in their respective field. Although we feel the originality on some statues only. And it is a very busy place so that we have to wait for get a pic with our favorite ones. Arrangements are good but unfortunately the 4D movie was not playing due to renovation works. So those are planning to visit just confirm with the authority that everything is available on the day you visit.
Z. M.
Love it. My favourite actors status are there especially Shah-rukah Khan's.
You see all the fine details it's amazing.
S. J.
Nice place to visit with family if you are into celebrities. Little bit crowdy at some points but had a nice time.
G. N.
Loved it. Wasn't very busy on the day and had plenty of time at each exhibit to take photos and fool around with different poses. Each section is well done and on theme.
M. C.
It was really quiet today. Fantastic dark ride and wax models. They have updated it since I last visited, and the layout is much improved!
A. R.
Came across this place on TripAdvisor and decided to book. It's a resort inside a beautiful and a huge plantation (coffee, pepper, rubber). It took a little while to locate but thanks to Google Maps and ever helpful Satya, we reached. It is a lovely quiet place with plantation on one side and Wayanad forest on the other side across a small stream. We had booked Honeymoon cottage but my daughter fell in love with the attic room in mud cottages, so we switched. So, if you have kids, then book mud cottages which have attic with mattress as kids playing cum sleeping area. If you want to enjoy nature with plantation and forests of Kerala, then must come to this wonderful resort. Thank you Satya for everything
L. S.
Really lovely time here, MARVEL was the main reason for coming and it did not disappoint for the little one. 4D cinema experience was brilliant, Only down side was being caught off guard by the 'old days london streets area' with a 5 year old it caught us off guard and had to try hide some of the disturbing parts of this section to not have him upset by some of the scenes. Would be better if could by pass this section if with a young child.
M. T.
I have not been here before, my wife and I participated as part of a group london theme activities booking. It was good, but I would not choose to do it again. Left me a little disappointed, although I did enjoy it. Some of the wax models were not that realistic, while others were outstandingly real. I thought there would be more models, but I did like the way they sectioned the areas and flowed it through the whole walk. I loved the ride. Staff were nice and friendly, and there are plenty of food refreshment stops if you feel the need. Never needed one, not in there long enough so cannot comment on cost etc.
J. D.
This is a must visit place in London. Its a world famous attraction to visit . The family and also the kids will enjoy a lot. It is better to book tickets online to avoid standing in long queues. Its is just two minutes from Baker Street underground station. The wax statues looks like real person. The attention to detail is amazing and there are wax statues of famous Hollywood personalities , polititians, sports personalities, singers, pop groups, Royal Family and also characters for Marvel and Star Wars. There is also a small but beautiful train ride where the carriages are designed like London Black cab which takes us on a journey about the history of London. There is a 4D theatre showing short films for 8 minutes and also a place to buy snacks and souvenirs.
S. K.
Fabulous! The models are so life like to look at. Most of the models are not behind barriers, they are all situated so you can take photos/selfies with them easily. There is a brilliant little ride at the end 'London though the ages" which is thoroughly enjoyable. So you are aware there is an option to watch a 7minute 3D marvel film, this is at extra cost per person. Two of our party watched it and the said it was worth it.
A. M.
Fantastic day out. Haven't been for years. Had a great time. Very expensive though took my 16 year old, booked online so got a 10% discount but still £30.50 an adult, £2 for a Souvenier broucher, then once in, there are the optional photos £15 for first and then £5 there after. If your a family of 4 them that's a lot of money for about 2 hours entertainment.
C. L.
Such a good time here! Blew my mind how good the wax works are and the experiences! Loved the Alien section!
I. W.
Although this place was amazing or would be in a perfect environment. Please be aware that there was a lot of people allowed in & all was in very close contact. Although we wore our masks as much as we could, which others didn't we still felt very insecure. We didn't really see any visible cleaning going on & as there are many staircases I was constantly using my sanitiser. Apart from this the experience was great & well worth a visit. Just be warned if you are in the vulnerable group. Very close contact with others, hot & not a lot of ventilation.
L. P. (.
Fantastic place, lots of people from all over the world to see and take pictures with.
The Sherlock Holmes experience is also great fun. Will cost an extra £5 per person if it's not include in the pass you purchase.
E. M.
The last time we came here was a load better than the most recent, it seems that a fair amount of waxworks have been took out such as the horror film related ones, considering they've reduced what you see and kept it at the same price is poor. When we got in to the moment we left it was crowded, if you wanted to take proper pictures of some of the models then you wouldn't have a chance because of all the people there
j. w.
The staff were great and very helpful. Sadly parts are hard to get to if you're disabled or have some mobility issues. The models were good, but not as good as I'd have expected. Others may enjoy it more. The whole experience was pretty good.
J. H.
A wonderful place but it might be difficult to see all the wax figures when there are too many visitors. If you want to visit it you need to plan to spend about half a day or more there since the entrance queues are long and you might have to wait for an hour or two before it's your turn to go inside.
R. P.
Great place! Recommended!
The Madame Tussauds has multiple places to visit: The Avengers 4D show was my favourite!
The entry fee was 30 pounds per person when I visited. Madame Tussauds has a souvenir shop and some places inside that require you to pay extra.
When you get in, there are life sized celebrity wax statutes on the first floor, there is a Sherlock Holmes show(you need to pay extra) and other world leaders on the floor below. Apart from the wax statues, there is a London ride which briefs you about the history of London and then there's the 4d Avengers show which is a must watch!
T.
What to say, what to say. I can't believe how realistic the wax figures look, it's like you're really there with them. The atmosphere is amazing and the torture wax figures are very gruesome, how wholesome 😂. But really it is amazing. A few adjustments could be made though, such as better air conditioning as I thought I was going to melt along with the wax and there could be a little bit more of a wait so you could spend some time alone with the wax figures but other than that, it is great even down to the subtle things such as the smell and decoration. Brilliant.
M. B.
A must see in London as a tourist and you can take lots of photos with the wax statues here. We didn't have to wait that long as it was a weekday probably. Apart from the statues we also enjoyed a short film in their 360-degree, 4D theater with high impact special effects. Overall the tour was enjoyable.
W. H.
Most amazing travel experience in my life. All the wax models like true feeling.Calm and classy environment and very good staff and welcomed .hope to visit again in future some day.Best moment in my life :) cheers
B.
Always a great experience, the waxworks change regularly so even if you've been before, it's worth a visit again. The 'ride' thro the time line of London is great, and don't forget the 4D cinema experience. The staff were utterly amazing, one gorgeous lady at the exit checkout thanked me profusely for visiting and told me that they've really missed the visitors and the interaction because of the pandemic and it means such a lot to them welcoming visitors again.
A. R.
What a fabulous fun day out. Any time of year. Can get busy so have to take a day at it if you want to get some wonderful pictures.
Great experience and a wander in London after is well recommended.
D.
Like a giant maze! So many various figures to tick everyone's box. Music, movies, characters - really fun experience and we loved the Alien encounter section and the add-on of the Marvel 4D show.
A. L.
Surprisingly nice. They did not have an Iron Man figure but quite enjoyable. There's even a scary English dungeon and a short cart ride that looks at the history of England.
S. S.
It gives 5 stars, but my feelings are mixed, I have the impression that not everything is available to the public. And the price is at the same level I know it's hard times, but if you want to get back, you can lower the price and thus attract more people.Nevertheless, I recommend that everyone will find something for themselves. Great fun
C. T.
Had a fantastic time however a few of the scarier parts would have been nice to avoid them so 2 boys 4&5 loved it 6yr old girl terrified in parts
Door staff were fantastic couldn't fault them and the gentleman in the shop was lovely we went on a Sunday definitely recommend
P. K.
Amazing experience! Much better now than when we visited a few years back.
J.
Worth visiting if you are in London.
Bit pricey but there is a lot to see ,children would love it.Look for 2 for 1 offers online.
m. g.
Accessibility was a little difficult for my wife who has mobility issues. Actual models very good. 4D Marvel cinema was excellent, although no Thor, Wanda or Loki models.
m. h.
Good fun, kids loved it
S. G.
Really enjoyed it..will be going back, because it was a bit crowed when we went so didn't get to see a lot of the figures
S. W.
Excellent place to spend the time with world famous characters and take selfies. All wax statues look like real people. Highly recommend for local and foreign tourists. A place everyone must visit once their life time. 😊😊
C. B.
A great day out. Be prepared to spend good hour and half at least here. We didn't dawdle and got through in 1 hr 45 min. Lots of picture opportunities and snacks inside. It got abit exhausting towards the end I don't think I would have enjoyed being their for any extra events purely because it doesn't have access to fresh air for a while. I did have fun though, a nice event to break our day trip up.
W. V. W.
Pay for the fast lane, you can enter in 2min instead of 2 hours. I was there during Christmas holidays and it was too crowded. Lines were enormous. The statues are life-like but less in amount then I would expect. The 4D show is great for the kids, the ride in Victorian's London was very fun and interesting. I paid 150euro for 2 adults and one kid. I would recommend this.
A. L.
Amazing place and is worth it's price 100%. For the price you get several rooms with wax figures of celebrities, sportsmen, historic figures etc. You go on a London Spirit cab ride and you get a Marvel 4D show (at least that's what we had in Jan 2018), they also had a whole Star Wars display.
Warning: professionally taken photos will cost you £14, but you can take as many photos as you can on your own phone/camera and you can touch all the figures.
Also be prepared to queue to get a picture with the Royal family.
S. A.
My overall all experience was good. This wax museum is amazing and many of the actors statues are very accurate and looks so realistic. They have done a great work. Nice place to visit with family.
A. J.
Odd but weirdly enjoyable. Quick turn around for the cost. Loved the car ride.
C. G.
Excellent. Worth the money. You can see they invest the money into the attraction. Once I thought it was over then it just kept on going. It was quite busy but there's not a lot you can do about that. Plenty to see with a good amount of information on the history behind it.
K. S.
A 200 years old museum of wax statues. It is the finest example of attention to details. A great display of exemplary craftsmanship. Nicely managed too. We arrived late at 4 pm but the staff was courteous enough to let us in. Although we completed our visit in 1.5 hours but it could had easy been 3 hours. Overall a great place to visit
D. M.
This is an amazing experience, well-orchestrated tour. Time wise batch gets entry which makes you feel irritated but believes me, once you enter in, see less crowd and get chance to take a picture is worth following queue. All statues are well organized based on profession like movie stars, politicians, athletes, sports etc. The taxi tour to showcase London history was great.
g. s.
Much better experience than I expected. I would recommend the 4d experience and to take your time and enjoy.
g. m.
Overpriced for a family with 2 kids, paid 166,00.
Very nice, we totally enjoyed, but I was expected more famous names!!
A. S.
A very fun experience, and must see for first time London visitors. However the staff can be quite lost; example, our fast track booking was completely ignored, and they had us wait in line instead. The people were many, so instead of looking properly on tickets, they just added everyone to the line, no matter what.
I understand that the crowds can get hectic at the times. But this is why we have our QR codes, and you the scanner. What's the point of booking early and paying extra for the skip the line ticket, if it won't make a difference anyway?
G. P.
Great place to take kids But be prepared for big queues and you must book online slots for getting in Dont even attempt it with bookings before you go as you will not have a chance on the day. it can be very busy getting round it so leave plenty time.
Plenty to see inside and good for kids to get there wax hand made for memory of the trip.
L. G.
A bit less than I was expecting, but still really nice place to spend few hours. Wax figures are really realistic and it is a lot of fun. Expect a lot of people and for some most popular figures you need to wait in a queue to get a picture. Didn't expect, but 4d movie was really interesting and fun. Travel with the taxi train through the London history was also interesting experience. It is not cheap, but you can find 2 for 1 tickets on the internet.
J. C.
Great experience, although world recommended to book before arrival.
N. L.
Wow !! What a place. You can meet almost all the famous personalities over here ( obviously in the form of wax statues)
All the wax models are made with such perfection that you can only feel amazed. A must visit place when visiting London. You can take combined tickets of multiple tourist attractions which would be a bit cheaper than single tickets.
In the end you can also see how actually they make these statues which is nothing but a geniuses work!!
S. S.
Great and Not to miss experience!
P. A.
A great experience with "real" size characters. Excellent for kids.
D. S. G.
Nice place to visit . World famous. Without it tour of London in incomplete . Modes are Ike real ,after models there is a history museum tour on a small train , which is quit informative, than in the last there is a 4d show in a cinema, over all such a nice experience.
L. J.
Amazing and unique museum in London. The price of the tickets are high if you only want to visit only Madame Tussauds museum, but a really good deal if you want to check 2 or more attraction points from the offer.I will recommend Madame Tussauds museum, London Eye and Sea Life. The wax museum is the place where you have the chance to see musical stars, historical characters, performance athletes, actors and more.
A. W.
Was pretty good, sad part of the exhibit was closed when we were there but great all the same.
L.
You MUST go to this palace but I suggest you to book online to avoid the crowded entrance. Basically the queue is till the next road outside from the building. That means if you book online you avoid all this thing. The place is big and they have a lot of celebrity figures but some of them they swap them during the times
A. B.
The place is amazing, mainly the Star Wars section. I liked almost everything. I just think for the price they should not have sections where you have to pay extra money, ex: if you want to see Alien section you have to pau extra 5 pounds, to take pictures with Master Yoda, 5 pounds, to visit Sherlock Holmes plus 5 and this continues. Place is really crowded but this was not a surprise for us. Nice place to visit :)
M. W.
An excellent, large museum. But the admission fees are ridiculouly high.
As an American alternative, I recommend the Hollywood wax museum in Branson, Missouri over Madame Tussauds!
J. W. (. K.
Absolutely incredible! Loved every second of it. Staff were pleasant, friendly and extremely helpful. 10/10 would visit london again purely for this experience.
B. M.
First time I've been to the London one. Was very busy no social distancing by people inside. Felt there could of been a range of more stars. But the spirt of london ride was really good
N. B.
It is a great museum with great attractions too but it is too crowded and I tried to go on a Monday to try to enjoy it to the fullest without so many people but it was a mission failed, there was a lot of people it looked like I was going on a Sunday.
R. A. B.
I had a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting London.
К. П.
Intresting
Everyone have to check Music Zone.
c. p.
Lovely place to visit, plenty of time to walk round with interesting things to see...little ride inside was great, as was the 4D 🎥 Cinema, well worth the extra £5 fiver entry.
D. V.
Well a must to see while in London at least for the first time. Try booking online for better prices
In general it’s very interesting to see all these figures and also some of them look like alive! In general I would suggest spending some time to see most of them and travel through history and time to get to see how some people look from close by! It’s quite interesting to see all your favorite characters how they look from close by and it can be a surprise for some because of their height and body type!
W. M.
Leaving the review with more details.
When I arrived I got a bit negatively surprised since the building appeared in need of a new painting but since I got the tickets I decided to get in with low expectations. Well, I got positively surprised.
Since I entered the building all the way up to the end, was an amazing experience. Staff were very polite and always helpful.
All famous artists, they looked extremely real. Even when getting extremely close to their face, I could see even minor imperfections on the skin.
The alien experience was another positive aspect as well.
Again, I was not expecting much, but since I was in London I decided to try and I definitely recommend to everyone.
Z. H.
We booked a family day trip with one of the party in a wheelchair. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Ross, who was super friendly, and helpful. Each time we were ready to move on, he was more than happy to assist us. Cannot thank him enough for making our visit as easy as possible.
We also want to leave a massive thank you to Ryan, who talked us through the story of Madam Tussauds, and very clearly loves his job. It was a pleasure to meet him.
Adam, who was working in the gift shop was an absolutely angel, helping with the ramp to get the wheelchair in and out, joking with the children.
Cannot fault anything with our visit, and would like to thank all of the staff we dealt with. Not a bad work to say.

I thought that it will be boring for me, because I'm not a star fan type, but this museum offers way more attraction. The point where I thought it is the end, there started everything for me. We go through the wax stars and reach the London taxis, where a fun park style London history lesson started. After the shock (good one's ), the wax stars strike back (also good one's) and to top the experiences we found ourselves in a 4D cinema.
As for me it is a must visit place. Mind that there is a long queue simply everytime. So you should buy the tickets in advance and online. The tickets are time scheduled, so if you go in your time you choosed, you don't have to wait a lot. If you (will) miss your time, you can change it several times (my ticket allows 10 times). It is bargain to buy your ticket with another museum you want to visit.

It is a good models with artistic work.

Had a great day... great fun spotting all the celebrities, sportsmen and historical figures.
Included in the price was a 4D cinema and a ‘taxi ride’ (like a sort of theme park ride). I particularly liked that!
There were a couple of other things that cost extra but were optional. There would have been £5 each or both for £8. There are a few eating stalls/stands inside. There’s a gift shop and some souvenir coin mangles.
All the staff/stewards were friendly and helpful.

You cannot miss this place if you are in London with your family. We not even realised about the three hours that we spent inside the museum. Our baby was also very happy (she is only 1 and half years old). Five stars from me. So every one visit this place
P. W.
Best place to go out and have fun the best
B. D.
Worth a visit. Definitely do the fast pass process otherwise the queues are hours long. An enjoyable experience for all the family.
h.
Was expensive and a bit short, the place is too full and trying to get a photo can be very difficult. Prices are high but the History of England ride (I'm not sure of the exact name) was the only thing I liked about the place. Not great tbh.
Ò. P.
We didn't plan to visit Madame Tussauds on our trip to London, since we found the tickets to be too expensive, but we found a discount and it turned out to be a great idea! Make sure you check for discounts if you visit the London Eye or some other London attractions. If you like modern cinema and/or pop artists, you'll probably have a great time taking pics with the wax figures!
N. M.
This place can be fun for both children and adults. The exhibition features current figures from the world of sports, politics and showbiz. At the end of the tour, the visitor sits in a London cab and drives to the exit looking at English history made of wax figures. This destination is definitely worth a visit.
L. S.
It's a good place to visit and meet lots of celebrities especially the 4D marvel experience.
The only disappointment is the price.
I had to pay around £200 for all my family and this is expensive especially in this time.
M. J.
Great place, liking you can get up close to take great photos
L. B.
I took one of my friends here, I have came back after14 years it was nice , but I felt angry since since the first second that I asked for information to the guy checking the tickets he didn’t bother to replay just direct me to the back of the line, I was boiling in anger for the way that he has treated me.
We bought tickets on line in advance was not specified which line to use , he made us to do the normal line and oh surprise was not that one was the fast one 😡 you enter not one say hello or how works where you can take take pictures or not .... missing some statues that you might like to take photo like the Beckham’s
Each section has a private museum Rogers they charge additional £5 all should be included or saying in advance. At the end all this profesional pictures are to make more money
h. C.
Was much better than I thought it would be, although quite a few waxworks didn't capture a true likeness, other's did and the ride was a very pleasant surprise.
V. G.
I will try to sum up my experience here -
+ The entrance makes you really feel welcome with the red carpets and all
+ Centrally located, connectivity
+ Short cab ride inside to take you down the memory lane
+ Free 4D shows
- Long queues at the entrance
- Super crowded inside. Long wait times as people queue up for taking pictures with their favourite character. You do not really get to see anything as most of the statues are thronged and surrounded by groups of people inside. Entry should be limited and in batches
- Staff who throws up quite an attitude.

I love Madame Tussaud’s, such a fun day out. The wax works are unbelievably realistic, it’s a great experience to get so close to your favourite celebrities, even if they are wax! Definitely one of London’s greatest attractions 🎡.
D. P.
It was cool the kids loved the marvel exhibit and the misses love Brad Pitt and Tom Hardy it was fun for the whole family and only takes a couple hours to go round.
D.
Managed to get through queue in 1.5hrs instead of suggested 2.5hrs. Current (as of Oct 2017) special Marvel & Star Wars exhibits added quite a bit extra & was pleasantly surprised by amount of content & variety in the place including mid UK/London history Black Cabs ride
R. G.
Gteat place to go and enjoy. When you can't meet the actual celebrities you can get clicked with their dummies 😅 very good collection of celebrities across the world. Gand moulding is amazing as well. A great place to go and have fun with family. A full day adventure.
A. Y.
Is it raining on your London trip? Check out this museum to pass some quality, fun, family time. It is great to see the actual sizes of celebrities, learn the mechanics of wax figures, and get some great snaps for the family.
S. R.
One of the best museum we ever have visited. There are a lot of interesting locations inside.
Both adults and children spend there at least 2,5-3 hours like one minute.
M. A.
I haven't liked it so much. Like it is fun and interesting to see those figures, but there is just too many people. It was almost impossible to walk. Also. Entry costs about 32£ but when your in there, they take photos of you several times and if you want those photos, one photo cost 17£, which is too much I think.
D. N.
I'm glad I used Tesco clubcard vouchers for our visit as it definitely isn't worth the entrance price of £29! In my opinion a lot of the models didn't really resemble who they were supposed to be! The best one was the Dali Lama. Of the whole experience we enjoyed the 4D Marvel Super Heroes film the most. Was disappointed that the Taxi ride experience was closed for maintenance but I didn't find that out until after we got home.
G. R.
Booked tickets in advance which included a small discount for combining the London Eye. Both worth a visit but the Eye doesn't take long to go round.
S. S.
A must visit place when in London . Visited the Place Exactly 7 yrs ago , Had a great experience , Best to visit when the place opens as there will be less people compared to other time , Good collection of statues. Once things are fine would love to visit Again with better camera :P !!

Madame Tussauds is a wax museum in London; it has smaller museums in a number of other major cities. It was founded by wax sculptor Marie Tussaud in 1835. It used to be spelled as "Madame Tussaud's"; the apostrophe is no longer used.Madame Tussauds is a major tourist attraction in London, displaying the waxworks of famous and historical figures, as well as popular film and television characters from famous actors.
Marie Tussaud was born as Marie Grosholtz in 1761 in Strasbourg, France. Her mother worked for Philippe Curtius in Bern, Switzerland, who was a physician skilled in wax modeling. Curtius taught Tussaud the art of wax modelling beginning when she was a child. He moved to Paris and took his young apprentice, then only 6 years old, with him.
Grosholtz created her first wax sculpture in 1777 of Voltaire. At the age of 17, she became the art tutor to Madame Elizabeth, the sister of King Louis XVI of France, at the Palace of Versailles. During the French Revolution, she was imprisoned for three months and awaiting execution, but was released after the intervention of an influential friend.During the Revolution, she made models of many prominent victims.
Grosholtz inherited Curtius's vast collection of wax models following his death in 1794. For the next 33 years she travelled around Europe with a touring show from the collection. She married Francois Tussaud in 1795 and took his surname. She renamed her show as Madame Tussaud's. In 1802, she accepted an invitation from Paul Philidor, a lantern and phantasmagoria pioneer, to exhibit her work alongside his show at the Lyceum Theatre, London. She did not fare particularly well financially, with Philidor taking half of her profits.
She was unable to return to France because of the Napoleonic Wars, so she traveled throughout Great Britain and Ireland exhibiting her collection. From 1831, she took a series of short leases on the upper floor of "Baker Street Bazaar" (on the west side of Baker Street, Dorset Street, and King Street in London). This site was later featured in the Druce-Portland case sequence of trials of 1898–1907. This became Tussaud's first permanent home in 1836.
By 1835, Marie Tussaud had settled down in Baker Street, London and opened a museum. One of the main attractions of her museum was the Chamber of Horrors. The name is often credited to a contributor to Punch in 1845, but Tussaud appears to have originated it herself, using it in advertising as early as 1843.
This part of the exhibition included victims of the French Revolution and newly created figures of murderers and other criminals. Other famous people were added, including Lord Nelson, the Duke of Wellington, Henry VIII and Queen Victoria.
Some sculptures still exist that were made by Marie Tussaud herself. The gallery originally contained some 400 different figures, but fire damage in 1925, coupled with German bombs in 1941, severely damaged most of such older models. The casts themselves have survived, allowing the historical waxworks to be remade, and these can be seen in the museum's history exhibit. The oldest figure on display is that of Madame du Barry, the work of Curtius from 1765 and part of the waxworks left to Grosholtz at his death. Other faces from the time of Tussaud include Robespierre and George III. In 1842, she made a self-portrait, which is now on display at the entrance of her museum. She died in her sleep in London on 16 April 1850.
By 1883, the restricted space and rising cost of the Baker Street site prompted her grandson Joseph Randall to commission construction of a building at the museum's current location on Marylebone Road. The new exhibition galleries were opened on 14 July 1884 and were a great success. But Randall had bought out his cousin Louisa's half share in the business in 1881, and that plus the building costs resulted in his having too little capital. He formed a limited company in 1888 to attract fresh capital but it had to be dissolved after disagreements between the family shareholders.

I last went about 10 years ago, this to was a surprise present and wow, they've really improved it and it's just so much better, really enjoyed our visit, definitely recommend.

Very enjoyable. Had a very good time
A. L.
Booked in advance and this made entry swift. Lots of variety and good fun for the kids and adults. If say 1.5hrs is enough to see everything.
V. R. P.
Very crowded, hyped and one of the most visited places in London. Featuring vax statue of famous and popular personalities across from world. Try try to sell you some thing all the time. One can spend approximately 2 hours here. There are movies themed areas and a small ride which takes you through British history. Overall okay and one time visit of you don't have any other options.
V.
Great!! Wax museum, they got statue of all the famous Celebrity, Sportsman, Leaders and many more. One has got to spare around two hours to see everything. This is one of the best attraction place for tourist in london. During summer it is very busy and one has to get in queue for entry. Staffs are very helpful. They also got 4D experience. One should book online ticket to save money and time. Best time would be in morning as it gets crowded afternoon.
A. C.
Very noisy and crowded. Beware taking young children - even our 6 year old grandson had a melt down from it all. But, after he'd been collected, older brother absolutely loved SuperHeroes 4D cinema🙂🙂 (extra cost).
H. E.
We really loved 😍we went to the one in Istanbul which was lovely but this one is awesome.. my favourite part Star Wars 🌟🤩 my girls loved the Marvel ones ❤
V. E.
Nice visit. I will recommend it to people. I even made my wax hand
D. F.
Excellent time. Throughly enjoyed our time there.
J. S.
Great experience. The 4D marvel experience was also good. Worth a visit.

Great tourist spot. You need to reach early (by around 8.45), since queues can get long. Has wax impressions of many celebs. It also gives you a detailed overview of how wax structures are made. The highlight of the place for me was the 4d show they have.
S. “. H.
We spent about 2 hours in there but could of spent more time really loved it
P. P.
A normal wax museum with many to see. Its really big. You can enjoy a ride with a black taxi and see the History of London and then a 10 minutes movie from Marvel Heroes. There is a Sherlock Holmes theatre and you have to buy tickets for that to see actors and etc. if you want to do it.
There are drinks and sweets inside if you want to get something and also you can take photos and make wax hand figures(you pay of course) Very nice experience
A. A. (.
Super fun experience here at Madame Tussauds. They didn't the big bang theory crew though which was kinda like a bummer. neither did they have the harry potter set.
E. T.
Went here yesterday! It was amazing! Service was brilliant too! Will definitely be returning!
S. S.
One of the best experiences I have in my life. You can see a lot of famous people here such as actors, athletes, Star Wars, Marvel and you can get a train and see the history of London City which is epic. It takes at least 2 or 3 hours if you don't want to rush. You need to pay extra money to see some places.
J. M.
Amazing value for money, paid £30 per person, and I know each module is easily worth £10,000, and there were easily a hundred models, before considering the cost of the shows and rides that it costs to build. Basically 30 quid a head for an experience that easily cost millions to provide. As a Londoner, I'm glad I finally checked this out, it has been over 2 decades years since I last went.
P. W.
Fantastic place for ADULTS to visit.. the kids are going to spend half their time asking you who people are before getting bored.
It's queuing all the way.. then run the gauntlet of every 20 meters them trying to get more cash out of you.. take cameras and learn to say No!
The 4D film at the end was brilliant.. amazed me..
If your going.. don't buy the photos.. take your own.. don't buy the sovienerrs. They are all way over priced cheap gifts.
Enjoy your visit.. like I say.. it's more fun for mum and dad than the kids..
P. Z.
We really liked it we thought it was going to be small but it was very big. But it would be good if they added a Messi statue because my son really likes Messi.
P. L.
It was ok, we weren't really impressed with the first part with some of the celebrity wax models but the rest of it was better. The sci-fi section, the Aliens walkthrough, going through ye olde London and the black cab ride were all great. The 4D marvel cinema experience was good.
D. S.
Good Attraction. The waxworks are spread our in themed areas. There is a good mixture of celebrities and the horror area was fun. After that you have a ride through the history of Britain. The Marvel 4D cinema experience is worth the extra money, especially with your seat interacting with the action. Then Star Wars section. I did a fast track ticket entry which I booked stood outside near it and 5 min later got straight in andyou don't have to queue plus cinema and program. For £51. It's not somewhere I would revisit unless I was with someone who had not been. Nothing bad about it, just one of those ticked of the list venues. All in an enjoyable visit.
R. H. (.
One of the finest meuseum in the world but from my point it's a bit expensive if we think as value for money.
A. V.
GREAT place to spend the day. So many celebs and people from history! Loved every bit of it. 4 stars because the Sherlock Holmes detective bit where we had to pay an extra £5 to enter didn't really match up to the hype. I would recommend anyone going there to avoid that bit alone and just enjoy the rest of the museum. Seriously, you wouldn't miss anything. But some other statues here are almost life-like, it's surreal. Especially the Princess Diana one. So beautifully made!
T. H.
We were there kind of off-season so even though we didn't have tickets until the afternoon we were allowed to enter by lunchtime. There were actually more to it than expected with a lot of rooms with different themes. There were no problems taking selfies with your favorite character. I can imagine that in high season with rooms packed, the experience might be somewhat worse. We didn't go into the Sherlock Holmes area, but the Marvel 4D show at the end of the tour was amazing. 😀
T. D. 1.
Its good for people who love celebrities, for me its wasn't something that i enjoy. However i enjoyed the train. Overall its something nice to see once in a lifetime
P. S.
It's rightly one of the best tourist attractions of London. Feeling low and wanna get motivated by seeing your idols or just want to show off how great you are amongst your friends by clicking photos with celeb, it's a good place to be in. A plus point here for staff which was very friendly and accommodating even though we were the last guests after a busy day. Don't miss the supercool 4D movie and star wars collection!
