I was referred to Poonam Shah senior consultant osteopath by my cousin. I had a trapped nerve in my shoulder running down my left arm and was in a lot of pain. I have been visiting senior osteopath Poonam Shah for about a year now. I have a back injury and have chronic pain. Sometimes my condition can worsen, which it did last year, and in an emergency I tried a couple of osteopaths in London over the course of a few weeks. Although they appeared to help relieve my pain initially, I found myself a week or so later to be in dire pain again in a different area of my back. This is what led me to Poonam- I found her online and took a chance because of great reviews I read and I managed to get an appointment with her last minute, on a Sunday on a bank holiday weekend no less! About two weeks ago my mother was suffering with excruciating sciatic type pain which made moving practically impossible. During this period we found it extremely difficult to find an osteopath that available to help and so found Medical Home Visits by chance. My initial call was followed up very quickly and the practitioner gave her opinion and clearly explained the options. Arrangements were made were made for a home visit the following morning (Sunday). My mother's condition after the appointment was a complete transformation and we've remained in contact with the osteopath and had followup appointments. I’ve had mobility issues since I was a child around my shoulder and back and Poonam has very clearly explained the problem I have, whilst helping me to regain more movement than I previously had. I suffered a slipped disc in my lower back over 2 years ago and experienced chronic pain in my leg and back ever since - I tried various treatments (steroid injections, physio, chiropractor, medication etc.) with little relief until I had a referral from a work colleague at work to see Poonam. Sending on behalf of my husband as I came across Poonam Shah via a Facebook group and pestered him to book an apt with her. His review below.. I had been seen a physio and osteopath for over a year and it was not making any difference. My GP kept prescribing me stronger pain killers which my wife did not want me to take as she felt we needed to get to the root cause of the problem and not just treat symptoms.. Then she came across Poonam.. From the first visit , I was highly impressed with her calm, caring and genuine professional approach. She used her excellent knowledge to explain what type of physio I would require and what to expect in terms of discomfort. I have been seeing her regularly now for a few months and I can honestly say that I can feel a massive difference with no pill popping. Don't get me wrong some sessions are painful but she advises easy after care to make this minimal. I received few sessions from Poonam for my wrist and thumb area pain. Her treatment is personalised every time according to my situation using several methods including massage, acupuncture and ultrasound. What I liked the most was her perspective: although my pain was in the wrist area, her treatment covered the whole upper body. Wow!! So I found poonam by chance after googling ‘female chiropractor’  and I’m so glad that I did. I approached senior Osteopath Poonam Shah from a recommendation, she is a professional individual who was able to help me with my journey to support my husbands who had medical infused depression. I’ve been going to Poonam for treatments for over a year now and after each time I see the benefits of her methods. I’ve had for a long time lower back pain, problems on the knee and sometime I wouldn’t sleep properly. Before going to Poonam I’ve tried different methods, tried different physiotherapist and chiropractic, without any real improvement. Since after the first treatment I felt immediately better, over time my back improved and my sleep too, she would use a series of techniques and manoeuvres combined with ultrasound and laser technology to tackle the issue at the core. That said, for me Poonam is an excellent Osteopath and human being, that will listen to your needs and taking care of you, I definitely recommend you to try her treatments if you want to get better, feel better and improve your current condition.

I first went to see Poonam Shah after searching aimlessly online as to how to improve lower back pain and a generally achy/tight and painful back. I was faced with lots of options most with very expensive initial consultation fees. Working in private healthcare, I was searching with high expectations I guess, but not knowing exactly what my back problem was I was concerned I may end up seeing a specialist who couldn’t address the issue effectively and wasting money. Having suffered with aches and pains for a long time, I had no idea how advanced my back issue was/what was causing it. Within 10 minutes of my first appointment, she had worked out what was causing the pain, and what needed to be done and told me roughly how many appointments she thought I would need (4 or 5). She has been really lovely and knowledgeable throughout and has provided me with links to vitamins, foam rollers, insoles etc to help me maintain flexibility so not to revert back to the state my spine was in previously. Poonam used combination treatment including acupuncture to treat my shoulders, neck, upper and lower back. She would talk through every step with you, which really helps with understanding the problem so you can help to avoid it coming back. I would say I noticed a huge difference straight away. Would really recommend her!

I can tell you whoever reads this if you are in pain or you have any kind of problem with your back, lower back, sciatic pain .... ANYTHING ... This is the place you wanna go .
