P. K.Good sound system, comfy seats (the bean-bags shown in some photos are gone, and have been replaced up upholstered armchairs with cushions).
D. S.The seats are more comfortable than they look in the pictures I found online. The sound packs a punch and exceeded expectations. The screen is also a good size.
Being located in a busy food-hall, soundproofing was an issue on a Saturday evening we attended. During quiet sections of the film we could hear the bass from music outside and occasional chatter and fun from punters outside.
The 30 or so seats at each side of this widely shaped cinema seem redundant as they would involve watching the film at a pretty severe angle. I'd be concerned about seeing a film at busier times.
Overall, a nice addition to Elephant and a decent local cinema for something a bit different.
L. S.Interesting little cinema hidden in a food hall. Quite a surprise that the audio is not bad and the seats are comfortable. The side seats can be very far from the screen and it is free seating, but the risk of being forced to sit at the far side may be low as there seem to be quite few audience - I watched only with two other in the whole theatre.
J.We went to watch "First Man" at this new cinema and had a wonderful expierence. The sound was one of the best I´ve expierenced, the seats are so comfy, the staff is super friendly and engaging and the freshly brewed german beer in their bar is definately a highlight! They are inside the Mercato Metropolitano, a community market. They support sustainability and local businesses and I love that the whole place is Plastic Free!
Definately worth a visit!
H. H.It’s a gem! I’ve came all the way from Germany just to go to this delightful place. It’s been highly recommended and delivered everything as a promised. A nice bar and good drinks as well as very comfortable places to watch the movie.
