A great place to fix back/spine problems, neck injury or a bad posture. I have been using this clinic for nearly two years, with very good results. Having completed about three months of intensive treatment (3 times per week sessions) for my neck and spine problems, I’m now doing one per month maintaining sessions. Harrison and Julia are very professional and friendly-I feel very safe in their hands. I would definitely recommend Optimal Spine Blackfriars Clinic in London.

I went to optimal spine for back pain and headaches. I saw Dr Harrison who examined my spine and took xrays. He was the first person that actually explained in so much detail exactly where my problems were coming from. He has been treating my spine with chiropractic and I feel so much better. I have now worked a full month without a single headache and I can sit all day without back pain. Highly recommend!

The Blackfriars clinic as a whole is great. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. I have only used the sports rehabilitation side / physio / massage so cannot comment on the chiropractic side. Scott is fantastic. He is really knowledgeable and excellent at what he does. After my first assessment session with him, he was already explain where I may have or may have already had possible injuries, before I had even told him about the injuries I have had. I highly recommend this clinic and Scott!

Very conveniently located or me just a short walk from Blackfirars train station, friendly reception staff and very positive experience. James' time, advice and work he did, it made a huge difference to me both physically and psychologically too as he helped me for my debut half marathon after a back injury in training. - I can't thank him and the practice enough. He was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, very flexible and gave me confidence he was providing the most effective advice and treatment possible. After years of increasing pain, stiffness and immobility after playing sports, I started coming here as it was impacting me in my everyday life. The people here are friendly and helpful, and as a sportsman himself Scott has an excellent understanding of the stresses and strains on the body caused by sport, and is able to explain the issues and how to fix them. After a few weeks I began to see a noticeable reduction in pain and improved posture and flexibility, and feel my recovery the day after a game is a lot better.

I attended the clinic in Blackfriars to get an assessment on the impact that a long term injury was having on the rest of my body. I admit I approached with a level of skepticism of what could be achieved but interested if any improvement could be made. At my assessment I was impressed by the oblivious passion of the consultant and by the fact that he not only quickly diagnosed problems I was aware of but also others which were causing symptoms that I did not realize were connected. On this basis I booked for the recommended treatments I was pleasantly surprised but the dramatic improvement in my mobility after only the first week and soon found that I wasn't hobbling around for a couple of days after I play squash. I feel that I have already achieved more than I was expecting and am more confident of not only further improvement but learning how to prevent a re-occurrence. It's just a pity that I did not do this years ago (you would have thought that my GP would have recommended something like this when I had the original injury).

I’ve been suffering with back pain for a while and lately knee pain. Because of that, I stopped doing activities that I really love, like running and hiking. So, I decided that I needed to do something. I’ve initiated an extensive treatment and rehabilitation program. I am doing in house treatment and exercises two times weekly, as well as a daily home exercise regime. So far, I’ve improved a lot. My quality of life changed completely - no pain. And, at the moment, I can start jogging! I highly recommend Optimal Spine. Completely worth it! All the staff is amazing and very high-skilled. Thank you Mikael, Scott, Gabi and Justina.

I came in with scioliosis and a long standing recurring knee injury, wanting to find out if chiropractice could do anything for me. Mikael suggested I work with the sports therapist to fix my biomechanics (my muscles firing incorrectly as I walk/run). Since then I have been working with Scott and made great progress, with my strength and control much improved. There are things that will never be fixed (the scoliosis) but I'm getting the rest of my body into balance to be able to confidently hike, cycle and hopefully run again without re-injuring my knee. Recommended.

I couldn't be happier with my progress so far in optimal spine. I came in to see Scott Wilkie 6 months ago after injuring my ACL (knee cruciate ligament) playing rugby. I came in to the Blackfriars clinic straight after surgery and since then we've made amamzing progress and im much further ahead than I expected to be at this stage. I'm very excited to get on to the next phase of my rehab and get back to playing rugby and snowboarding again. I would highly recommend Scott and optimal spine!

I had very bad shoulder pain. I had my first treatment with Annie last week and she did an amazing job! I felt the pain eased off immediately and disappeared over the next couple of days. I had massage before but this felt a professional and targeted one which left me pain free. My second treatment felt the same, I am intending to do this on regular basis as my work leaves me with tense muscles. So pleased and will definitely recommend.

Very easy to give 5 stars here. I have been attending the clinic sporadically (due to my work commitments abroad) since Nov 2020 and I'm really surprised and happy with the progress I have made from their treatment so far. My posture has improved dramatically so in that time, not only from what I can feel and see in the mirror/photos, but proven in the x-rays they have taken. I feel I have benefited elsewhere also, I suffer with less anxiety (that I never knew I suffered with until after the first couple of sessions, a sense of something being lifted had taken place.) I also feel more energised after sessions. Harrison is a fantastic practitioner, friendly, informative, warm and great and what he does. I can't imagine I'd ever give this up..

Couldn't find better clinic to help me recover from my knee ingiury. Anne is one of the greatest phisiotherapirt I ever met. Great rehab, effishient and always availabe for suggestion, and great chats. Now I'm visiting the clininc for the chiropratic session with Dr. Harrison. Highlly raccomended!!! I highly recommend this clinic! I’ve been getting chiropractic treatment for my back (including scoliosis and intense lower back pain). Harrison is a fantastic chiropractor, he’s very knowledgeable, professional and kind, and put together a tailored approach based on my specific needs. Thanks to my company I went to Blackfriars Optimal Spine for a spine checkout. Little did I know that doctor Harrison will discover the reason for my constant headaches, headaches I've been dealing with for more than 1 year. I went to Optimal Spine in Blackfriars to find out why my neck pains, discomfort, and headaches happen, and it turned out that my neck curve was misplaced. I started a treatment to adjust my neck posture, and I am impressed with the result, not just because my neck has almost recovered its natural posture and headaches are gone. But with the service that Harrison and Julia provide through the process. They helped me with all issues I had, as I do a lot of sport and sometimes suffer pains from running. Moreover, my posture correction has enormously increased the control of my breathing, allowing me to move further with my training. I will still seek their help with further issues, and I highly recommend it for anyone who suffers any kind of back pains.
