I have been to the Oru Space before for services offered in the building but never ended up eating at the cafe. I had to get some work done so decided to sit in the cafe on Saturday - I am so glad I did. The space is buzzing on the weekends so perhaps not a great idea to go in big groups but great for a solo brunch or a quick catch-up with friends. Not expecting too much, I was so impressed with the food. The matcha latte was perfect, they don't do any other non-dairy milk except for oat BUT the non-dairy option is free (hallelujah) and so I am not complaining! Other than my fleeting disappointment that my original lunch option was not available (they were very busy and sold out of most of the items), I opted for one of the last 2 items left - a VLT sandwich. This was such a delight. From my short sample of the menu, they know how to get their flavours right and are not afraid to test things out. And why would they be? It works!

Oru is a haven of beautiful interiors, lovely staff, excellent food and wonderful wellness classes. Not to mention the best coffee in East Dulwich (maybe the best in London). The rooftop space is awesome, and the new studios downstairs are calming, clean spaces with great lighting. I spend half my life here and wish I spent more. It's a vibe.

Been here a couple of times and I’m a massive fan. The food was delicious, especially the Sri Lankan options. The main space is beautiful and they’ve just opened two lovely new studio spaces at the back if you are coming for wellness activities. The lighting/music/layout create a really welcoming atmosphere and the staff go out of their way to be friendly. I’ll be back, probably a lot!

Delicious food and excellent coworking space! I was a member there last year but then moved to East London. Food-wise - their Dhal is the best in London and they also do delicious granola, pastries and bread. Oh and their paratha with halloumi, chilli jam and a fried egg is the ultimate hangover cure! Delicious coffee and hot chocolates. The decor is beautiful and service is great!

A welcome addition to the area, I originally visited for the food (the Sri Lankan dish is great) but now frequent to use the wellness centre. There are lots of classes to choose from that run throughout the day and on a daily basis. So pleased to find it!

I love visiting Oru, I wish I still lived closer so that I could get my lunch from here everyday. The front has such a cool Manhattan vibe, and the inside is so lovely, but mainly I come for the food. It’s delicious! Staff are lovely too!

I can honestly say that this is the best brunch I've eaten in 2 years (since moving back from Australia). All dishes we had (avo toast with a twist, turmeric scrambled tofu & mango pancakes) were dreamy. Coffee was excellent. Well worth a journey & beautiful, friendly space to be in too. Thank you Oru!

Oru space is an absolute gem in the heart of East Dulwich, a must visit stop off for the excellent coffee, banging dusky pink interior and super lovely team! The real star of the Oru Space show, however, is the food, potentially the only place in the SE that's cracked 'Salads/Sandwiches' I had the roast cauliflower, chimichurri, nuts and pomegranate special today and it was as beautiful as it was delicious. BELLA! 😍 I've now attended several sessions of Crystal Sound Bath + Reiki with Bella and she is incredible ! Her beautiful energy and incredible intuition are otherworldly and magical! And the benefits of sound healing are immediate- such a powerful class! She's just an incredible human! I can't rave about it enough! Please go and experience it for yourself!

Pros: Good coffee, nice decor, table service, only place on Lordship Lane that will do you a beer on Sunday morning (pubs closed) Con: No laptops on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Madness.

Been here for several yoga / meditation classes. Such a lovely studio/place - with a real variety of teachers and classes. Something for everyone! I especially enjoyed the sound bath.

What a fantastic addition to Lordship Lane! Visited on Sunday for a coffee, and despite the lockdown situation, Oru is providing a beautiful, classy place to grab a light bite and a perfect coffee. Haven’t checked out the studio space yet, but hearing that it’s created by Second Home alumni then I’m sure it’ll be a delight. Staff friendly, coffee delicious, pastry top notch. What more could you want?!
