Reviews of The London Bridge Experience & London Tombs

We visited the London Bridge Experience and Tombs on Sunday 8/8/21 and our timeslot was for 12:00. Arrived at 11:45 and was booked in quickly and efficiently. Went down the stairs and waited for the doors to open around 11:55.
You go through around 4 different sets with the actors who were great, giving you a bit of gruesome history with a bit of comedy about London Bridge. I would say although the lighting needs to be dark and atmospheric I think the 1st room and the Roman room lighting needs to be adjusted slightly as you couldn't even see the actors faces.
After the pub set/scene you are sent into the tombs which I think was around 10mins in duration. Great sets, actors and good fun with a few jump scares but not very scary in my opinion when I compare it to Broadwitch Hauntfests Biometrix scare maze or a house from Tulleys Shocktober fest.
All in all a great fun experience and recommend doing. I just expected it to be a bit more scary.
Also when I had watched youtube reviews people were saying the duration of the experience was an hour to an hour and 15 mins. It only lasted 40 mins for us so was a lot shorter than expected but still great and we enjoyed it.
P. S.
This experience was underwhelming and in the end turned out to be a gimmick aimed at getting a scream out of you. The actors worked very hard and to be fair did a good job. I was hoping to learn more about the historical significance instead of feeling like I was in a theme park fright night style experience. It was okay if you haven't been to other similar types of attractions before otherwise you will be left wondering what the fuss was about.

Wow…I wasn’t expecting it to as scary as that!!! I took a 9 and 7 year old and I think in our little your group there wasn’t many left crying at the end 😂 the staff were lovely and I thoroughly enjoyed it! A must for a London visit if you enjoy being frightened!!
C. C.
Overall, the concept and experience were fairly good - with friendly staff on the door and mostly high quality acting throughout.
The entire experience was fairly short - probably spent around 45 mins experiencing the attraction, which felt fairly short for the price tag.
Our group were a bit confused by the ending of the attraction. After completing the scare-maze style section of the attraction, we followed the arrow directional signs to the exit, which seemed to lead to the toilets of the Creams dessert shop? There were no members of staff around to say that it was the end of the tour - so we initially thought that we had exited through a fire escape, however after checking - it seemed that it was the only way out. Not sure if this is the case - or maybe there was usually a member of staff that was missing this time, but it did feel like a very odd way of ending the experience.

Extraordinary experience I highly recommend
I went for my friend birthday she loved it 😍
English history combined with dramatic experience
R. S.
A little bit short, but otherwise good fun. The history of London is a fascinating one and the actors all did a great job.
Tombs were great fun.
Z. P.
Daughter was scared 😱 would be good if they did decidicated tours times for younger children or family's with dimmed lighting .
Ideally wasn't there to be scared or for the thrill factors more so for the history or learning experience in our case . So , this sort of option should be available to make it better for all .
D. D.
Really fun experience, the first part was interesting, (but not up quite to London dungeons) but the second part, the tombs were so much fun, totally worth it, the actors delivered the scares really well, definitely raised my heart rate and laughed the whole way through, brilliant fun. My 11 year old loved it, but I wouldn't advise younger kids do the tombs...they are scary in the best sort of way, but I thought too scary for any younger.

I enjoyed so much! They have heaters, an app to order that makes it very easy and incredible views! It’s a must to go if you are in London. I can’t wait to go back!!

Spoiler warning:
I’ve been dying for years to go to the London Bridge Experience & London Tombs and I have to say, I was disappointed. Especially paying £50 for tickets (for me and my partner).
First of all, it was too dark. So dark in fact, a lady in our group tripped over a step that no-one mentioned to be mindful of as it was pitch black and she had to forfeit the rest of the experience as she took quite a fall.
The first half was okay. Very rushed. The actors were amazing though. The first scene you’re in some office of a guy who I believe built London Bridge, the second scene was Roman times, third Thomas Beckett Chapel, then Great Plague/Fire of London and the last scene being Jack The Ripper. We spent only about 3-5 minutes in each setting expecting something out of the ordinary to happen to scare us. But all that happened was some background on the history of the scene and then immediately rushed off to the next part of the show.
The second half is the Experience and this one I actually enjoyed. I was absolutely terrified (we were the first ones to go into the maze) and it was great. But it was only 15 minutes, but I loved it and actually wish the whole experience was this whole maze nightmare. The actors were great, the atmosphere absolutely terrifying and brilliant. But again, some settings were just too dark that I actually was too worried about walking into something that could’ve posed a H&S problem.
Overall, it only lasted 45 minutes when it says on the website is about an hour or so, and felt a bit underwhelmed. Glad I tried it, but doubt I’d come back.

We visited the London bridge experience on Saturday. We had an amazing time. If you love horrors, being unaware of the unknown, adrenaline and jumping out of your skin then you have to go! 100% worth the money you pay. We’re looking to book again very soon!
B. L.
Booked a time and turned up a few minutes early… it was busy and sold out most of the day and we ended up queueing for nearly an hour.
They don’t check the times you’ve booked so it seems to just be first come first in! They also play the same 4 songs over and over and over again… that was probably the most infuriating thing.
The tour itself was interesting although I’m a little claustrophobic and there seemed to be zero emergency exits (that might just be me stressing). Some of the guides give real historical info, some just sort of pretend to be a character so was hit and miss how good each was.
The horror maze is pretty tame and the group was big so you just sort of shuffle through and unless you’re at the front of back and can create a bit of a gap then the fun surprise element is kind of lost.
T. K.
Long queue. We had a booked time slot but were still expected to just join a general queue with people turning up on the day. Eventually got in about 30 minutes after time we booked. Wait exasperated by constant loop of short bursts of the same three songs.
Once inside pretty much a hit and miss affair. Most actors pretty average but shout out to the " keeper of the heads " by far the best of the bunch.
The tombs experience was loud, lots of strobe lights ( epileptic be aware ) and plenty of characters jumping out can't say us two old cynics were particularly scared but plenty were.
R. L.
I would say this was one of our more memorable places on our trip. It is educational and a little scary. It starts with the educational stations and then they line you up to go through the scary tombs. Not too bad at all and the ice cream at the end is awesome.
T.
Eight year old was not a happy but the 11 year old loved it. Well placed, great cast, scary if you can suspend disbelief. Gives a little history lesson of two too.
A. R.
Absolutely fantastic experience.
A bit hard to find, mind you, it would of helped if my phone was working right.. We had read it was opposite the station, turned out it was a mile down the road, so we took a stroll down the river Thames which was lovely. Saw a big ship.
When we arrived at London Bridge and pay entry, you step into a waiting area with lots of decorations, stuff to read, old artefacts and money.
When your slot comes your walked through by a guide, they take you to different themed areas and talk about the times back then. It's quite informative and very theatrical.
Then you come onto the tombs, this whole area is decked out in frightening scenes with people jumping out on you, chainsaws (bladeless of course) tight spaces, compressed air, all sorts.
Not for the faint hearted, check the website for medical conditions and health concerns, one lady did have to leave before entering.
You also have the option to buy a photo they take of you pretending to be frightened, which my wife took the liberty of purchasing for £9...
We both wore green, but my green was affected by the green screen which made for a interesting picture..
We'll worth a visit, and look for promo codes, we got 2 for 1 from train ticket purchase.
We were also quite blessed with the weather as you can see... 😂🤔☔
R. C.
Went to the horror maze yesterday, all round good fun. Lovely bar at the end of the tour with table tennis, pool & pub games. Can't beat a pint in a beer stein!
M. S.
Came for the Halloween Phobophobia show, it was so scary & exactly what we were looking for. A lot better than the London Dungeons which is very childish in comparison... we have booked again for Halloween weekend with a different group and already looking forward to being terrified again!
K. M. n. F.
So much fun! The actors are great and the sets are cool. It's not just jumpy, but atmospheric too, with creepy sights, sounds and even smells. They also cater for different scare levels, with a "guardian angel", standard or hardcore tour options, depending on when you go.
P.
So unbelievably scary. The immersive element really sent a shiver down our spine. 100% better than London Dungeons. Will make this a yearly activity for Halloween
J. S.
It was really fun! Made friends with some of the staff. Overall a great experience!
T. T.
Fun place to visit, albeit quite cheesy at times. Making the only exit after the tour through the Creams cafe is brilliant! The sweet aromas could be detected whilst we were at the end of the tour. The desserts were fantastic and the staff was friendly.
c. b.
Absolutely brilliant experience, properly creepy and spooky. Professional and friendly staff. Funny, informative and ultimately terrifying. Perfect family day out.
B.
First off I want to say this place is excellent! It really is. It takes the template for the current "Dungeon" format and runs with it.
Split into two parts, there's the London Bridge Experience first, which is by far my favourite part, then The Tombs after that.
The London Bridge part gives you the history of the bridge, from the first wooden one to the current one. You'll meet a few characters along the way who will tell you about their point in history a d both the acting and sets are of top quality. It's also very telling that there's more blood and guts in this segment than there is in the whole of The London Dungeon!
The Tombs I feel are a mixed bag. The sets are great and the atmosphere is excellent, but you walk around with your hands on the shoulders of the person on front, so you never really feel under threat. But again, the details here are top notch and they take quite a while to get through.
My advice is to blag a discount. Yoy can easily find cheaper tickets online and the people outside with flyers quite often give a discount on quite days.
Again, well worth a visit!
s. a.
Me and the misses Really enjoyed it ,and was scared which is what your going for, also my 9 year old really enjoyed it but she does not scare easily as my 14 year old boy did as well ,all with a little bit of history thrown in with it ,after went for a cheaky German stein in the bar up stairs good day out would go again!
L. D.
Very friendly and helpful on booking and reception. Never screamed so much. Great tour/ history but best are the actors. No one for people with dodgy hearts. Really enjoyed it, would highly recommend
M. S.
Booked this on the weekend for the family. Although the kids enjoyed the escapade, I feel for the experience it was not worth the price I paid. Despite having booked a time slot we still had to wait both outside as well as when we put into our groups - which had 25 of us, so it was generally quite crowded. The health and safety was disapointing due to screws sticking out one of the chairs and no insight about the height of the ceilng - I wacked my head against the door frame of which I could not see as it was dark. The lack of ventilation was also concerning. The actors, however, were increadably good and succeed in scary the children however due to the large groupings it was easy to tell what was coming so the scares weren't as surprising.
H. W.
Without doubt the scariest thing we have ever done! We laughed afterwards but we definitely weren’t laughing at the time!
C.
Whoever worked here the night of the 12th of October 2019 deserves a Bells (whiskey). What an amazing experience. The ticket sales people were amazing, and got me to do it. I thought, bleh, probably some kids thing. But wow was I surprised. This was so scary and so much fun. I recommend this for any horror movie lovers who want to go on a date in London. Experience ends in CREAM ( an ice cream shop). And boy did I scream.
D. H.
If you excuse my language here, I will say that this attraction is bloody brilliant. It's like The London Dungeon, but a bit more horrific and scarier.
Be Warned, this attraction is not for the faint hearted or squeamish.
S. R.
An amazing experience with interactive actors. Very scary, not so informative but a good laugh! For the vouchers on virgin experience vouchers as they were far cheaper.
A. M.
Total madness. If you want to be scared and chased by chainsaw wielding mad men then this is the place for you. The acting and the experience fully justifies the entry price. Maybe it could be longer but I think people would pass out if they made it any more longer
K. J.
Highly recommend if you are looking for something scary in London, especially as it's Halloween - WE LOVED IT!!!
J. B.
Really good, it only lasted for half an hour but that could be down to the COVID situation, keeping the customers down to a sensible amount, but definitely worth a look.
D. R.
Not bad. Seemed over very quickly but it was scary, despite knowing its actors which surprised us.
N. C.
I was dubious how good this would be given fairly late availability for myself and three teenagers to visit.
It was brilliant. Educational and scary.
Hard working actors (who you soon forgot were actors) led us through a history from Roman times, the fire of London, Jack the ripper..... gruesome and great. Well done. Happy to recommend.
S. O.
Very good experience for families, to have fun and learn in the meanwhile, very polite personal, they really care about your client satisfaction.
One point to improve would be the real time translation devise, it doesn’t work and when it works it’s delayed, but it’s easy to solve, either ways I recommend having a high English level.
S. O.
Experience was ok, I was a little underwhelmed, maybe because we were kept queuing outside for 20 mins eve. Though we had a time slot.
C. D.
Nice bridge with great history. Went on a boat tour that gave us some details on the different bridges.
I. T.
Took grandchildren they loved having a scary time absolutely loved it
N. W.
A great way to learn history. The show was very entertaining. The actors were really entertaining And very great. The price is reasonable and it well worth a visit.
The tombs part is really fun and scary and not for faint hearted but worth going if you up for a good scare.
S. C.
Went into this not knowing what it was with the London pass and had a blast with my family! Wouldn't recommend for small children, but definitely worth going! The actors were interactive and everyone was accommodating with our 3 year old (who did not go into the scare maze).
**spoilers below**
It is essentially a softer version of Halloween horror nights as the maze is long and goes through several themes. Actors will not touch you but will sometimes follow you a bit! It's a great time for anyone looking for a thrill in the city!
K.
Not only do you get a cool history lesson, you get to EXPERIENCE the dark history of London. My husband and I had such a great time! The narrator/guide was awesome and he engaged the crowd perfectly! Taking a walk down memory lane with Jack the Ripper and running around underground was so much fun! It was creepy yet exciting! The picture we received captured this cool memory. My husband and I also received an extra perk when we ran into a couple of the actors/zombies having a smoke break outside (while still in costume) and they posed for photo ops with us! I highly recommend this for anyone who visits London and likes a good scare/fun!
T. D.
Went with my partner and our two teenage sons, and had a great time. Would thoroughly recommend.
S. D.
A bit disappointing. An attraction that promotes itself as the scariest. And its Halloween. Sadly it all felt very thrown together. Not much different to a normal day at the experience but for some reason shorter. Advertised at 45 minutes but we were out in 30 and there's not much chance of slowing down. It relied mostly on narrow dark passages with a lot of strobe lighting. I'm sure the actors were in costume but you can't see that in the dark. I expected so much more
L. S.
My friends and I came here over December in 2019 and if you are keen on an authentic 1600's time warp and all round spooky surreal encounter, I highly recommend theTower Bridge experience. It was phenomenal, the actors are so committed and the whole place is so well set out in a true house of horror style entwined with history, it's just out of this world. We had such a good time, I thought yeah a house of horror, it's going to be lame but it was so well done. My friend and I screamed and laughed hysterically. A must if you don't suffer from epilepsy or anything like that.. Thank you guys for the memorable night!
N. S.
Really enjoyed it here we used our London pass and without this we probably wouldn't have visited. The lady we spoke to on the street described it as half educational and half going through the scary maze thing with actors etc. I have to admit from an educational point of view it was pretty poor I don't feel i learnt anything but the actors are great and the scary bit was good fun! (Don't think I'd have liked being at the front 😬) something different after a long day of sight seeing and I've already told friends to visit
K. B.
I went with the London pass, during rainy days it was a bit longer wait however was told of approximate times and was entertained by hosts coming out and talking to us prior. My children 11, 9 &8 enjoyed the history to start however they were totally freaked out by the time we got to the catacombs and therefore we only got to do the "lighted tour" at the end but my husband and I can't wait till we get back again to have the full scare factor experience!
C. G.
I had no idea what I was getting into when my parents told me they were taking me here. I assumed it would be some sort of historical tour, which was sort of right. However, it turned out to be a lot more fun.
The first half of this is a brief history of the bridge. Actors play people from the time period and give a fun little speech then you move on to the next one. They all stay well in character.
The second half is a haunted house. As someone who doesn't scare easily, half the entertainment is being people who do. They are very good at sneaking up on those people as you rush through. Flashing lights make it tough for people with epilepsy.
I would definitely recommend trying this out if you have a hour or so of free time. It is definitely one of the better attractions in London.
C.
Me and my fiancé came here last year. We were lookinng for a scary attraction and decided to have an experience. I really liked the layout and structure of the tour. I did not get scared but my fiance did and it was epic. He ended up hitting the actor that scared him on the head, he regreted it afterwards. I felt sorry for the actor, if you are reading this please accept our apologies. Thank you for everyone working at London Bridge Experience, it is well worth your money if you want to have some spooky fun.
L. b. j. a.
Nice place, great history and the are fantastic at explaining it - meanwhile really scary place. All in all highly recommended.
M.
Visited the scare attraction back in 2014. Was very interesting as I had a chance to know more history about London including the Jack the Ripper case, monarchs and the building of London Bridge. It’s opposite London dungeon as well.
C. P.
Queues were not too bad only waited 10 mins. Fantastic experience! Great actors, the costumes were fab, a great scare fest. It was just a shame the group of people we were in wasn’t more vocal. The short tour is great and informative. Loved it. When the tour ends if you fancy going to ‘creams’ it’s next door and we got 20% off the bill too. Great day out.
T. L.
Had a great day with the family. It was very exciting. Although it was a lot shorter than I expected. A few scary moments but it was great.
One negative though. I bought a coffee from creams and the lid came off and has gone all over my jacket. Why can't you get cups and lids that fit correctly ?
D. E.
It's a very cool place to visit, I had quite a lot of fun there. The first part is the best, the people working there made a very good job.
(No recommendation for people with claustrophobia, epilepsy or heart defects, since the purpose is to scare visitors with bright flashing lights, loud noises, mannequins etc.)
a. i.
The experience was really nice. A little bit of the London Bridge history, explained very good by amazing actors and a little bit of fun in a very haunted way. I enjoyed it so much, that this would definitely it's a no brainer: see you next time!
H. B.
Took my 6-year-old daughter who's really into history at the moment. We only went to the London Bridge Experience part. She was a bit scared at first (as was I - yes, the actors were THAT good) but the staff were great, they made her laugh so she was still able to enjoy it. Oh, I also got her a glow stick (you can ask for it before you get in - I think it's a Pound). It certainly helped with visibility in the dark.
The experience was interesting and educational - we got to see the various scenes that would have happened in the olden days... the Londinium era... followed by the head keeper passionately explaining how people were executed, etc. I especially liked the bit where the pub landlord was casually chatting about Jack the Ripper.
Understandably, my daughter wasn't up for the Tombs so we were escorted out to.. wait for it... the ice cream parlour that has just opened! What a sweet ending to a great day out with my daughter. I would recommend this to anyone but maybe not for the faint-hearted. :) Saying that, I might go back and do the Tombs (sans kids).
M.
Great, fun time with family and friends. I did not find it really scary but could see why others do, maybe I watch too many horror films! Others in my group did however and this made it really enjoyable. We ran (walked fast) not allowed to run and dropped to the floor many times. We're planning to go again for Halloween.
M. B.
I had to give this 5 stars because of how scared and the adrenaline rush I had on the last part of the experience when going through the Tombs! I was only in London for the weekend, but this was one of the best experiences me and my partner had. All the staff and actors throughout the experience were brilliant, 100% effort from all, including the members of staff out on the street with the que who were very helpful. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting London.
A. D.
I was here via London Pass. I really like it. The first part is a kind of a play with actors/citizens of medieval London. They interact with guests. It’s cool. iThe second part was a scary maze) It could be interesting for adults and their children. The show is about 40-45 minutes.
I’m not a big fan of scary movies and entertainment, that’s why this experience is pretty much enough for me. Little child could be really scared in the second part.
If you’re a tourist and don’t know the language you can have some problems with understanding during the first part, because actors speak English. I don’t think that it’s a huge problem, you’ll have pleasure of decorations.
S. K. F.
First: please answer me a question: was the colorful tube under us swinging too, or just the colorful thing around us?
Last but NOT least: It was freaking AWESOME! We've had so much fun! It was so interesting, and the actors were SOOOOOOO talented ( i totally forgot they are actually people from our century). I was not expecting it would be this realistic. Perfect ending for a London trip! Thank you 👌🤗
K. D.
Great fun and informative about the history of the bridge. Be warned though the second part of the tour is pretty full on and scary! Lots of actors that surprise you by jumping out and screamed rather a lot! Children are allowed in with an adult but personally I would not recommend this. Think it would definitely induce nightmares in children.
J. S.
It was fun for me but not so much for the others I went with. Grandma and 10 year old had to drop out before the last scary part, and good thing they did. It is more of a scary fun house than a historical tour.
I was hoping for a more authentic period experience. It started out with some relevance but was somewhat lacking. It ended off with no historical relevance whatsoever.
Still worth it if you like creepy and scary.
J. A.
We had a great time! It wasn't necessarily scary, but it was fun well put on and all around A great experience. We learned some things about the underground/ bridge past that we didn't know before. The actors are fun, friendly all in all we had a very good time!
R. H.
Zombie For A Day Experience - I would give more than 5*'s if I could! Absolutely fantastic day, highly recommend splurging and taking the opportunity to be a zombie scarer for the day. We were looked after from start to finish by the amazingly talented special effects and undead extraordinaire that was Lil! Lil couldn't have made the experience any better, Lil was absolutely brilliant and highly skilled in make up, acting, teaching, scaring, hosting and story telling! AMAZING!! AMAZING!! AMAZING!!
U. Z.
Amazing experience! So much history, theatrical performance was amazing! Went there with family visiting London for the first time, super happy!!
And the scary room at the end another highlight of this place!
Highly highly recommended😊
J.
Highly recommended if you are into haunted houses and scary experiences.
R. P.
For some bizarre reason, I was the only one on the tour at the time I arrived and this made it 1000x scarier! I walked through the tombs on my own which was truly terrifying. I am an adult and I screamed at the top of my lungs at some parts. This was followed by a nervous laugh! At the end, I had built up quite a sweat and needed ice cream from Creams Cafe to calm my nerves. All in all, a great experience!
A. C.
Had a great time at the London Bridge Experience. The first part is like a horrible history tour with great sets and costumes. The second part is a walk through a maze where you get chased by zombies and there's someone going wild with a chain saw. The actors are great and I would definitely recommend it for anyone who's into scary tours. They've got a Creams now too so we were able to get a great ice cream afterwards. All in all a great day out.
L. M.
3 stars only for the live actors and decors. Story was very thin.
Unfortunatelly staff did a pretty good job of spoiling the whole attraction by giving details of everything that was about to happen, beforehand. It wasn't scary at all, once you know what's about to happen and when.
Also, they advised the group to stick together, reserving all the "fun" to the front people.
Would not go again, very poor value for the money (28£/ticket)
L. R.
Amazing experience, everyone should do It once, Matt was very helpful and secured us an amazing discount. Would definitely recommend to everyone
R. H.
Really friendly staff on the door and inside.
Look for 2 for 1 tickets or ask for a deal on the door (we saved a few pounds per ticket on the door)
A really fun experience, i was a bit worried as I'm bit of a scaredy cat and found it a little scary at times but more jumpy than anything and the anticipation of not knowing what is coming next is the worst bit! None of the actor's grab you or touch you. My partner who is die hard thrill seeker laughed through most of it!!!
Would not recommend if you a really claustrophobic as there is a bit where you have you squeeze between this blow up wall thing (although its over in about 5 seconds )
Lots of darkness, flashing lights and scary sounds!
J. P.
The London Bridge Experience is a perfect mix between an informative historical walk/tour and a haunted house scare attraction. It's interactive staff and actors make your time within the tunnels immersive and entertaining, providing humour and a wealth of knowledge. The first half of the tour is definitely the educational section, filled with the history of the Bridge and the people who built it.
The second half however is where things get a little spooky and much more jumpy. This section is definitely not for the faint hearted. Expect to be scared, for things to be hanging from the roof, to having to squeeze through tight spaces! It is a fantastic experience all round and I would recommend it to anyone.
Beware there can be long queues present so.if you have a London Attraction fast pass make sure to utilise this and jump any queues!
H. C.
My husband and I went with the London Pass. If I had to pay extra, or out of pocket, I would not have gone to this attraction/would have been disappointed. The historical portion is interesting but short. More content would help both in terms of padding the time and making it seem more educational. The tombs are an okay haunted house-style with odd theming. The big squish areas are odd and if someone has any issues with being touched, they might feel a bit uncomfortable going through. This is a one-time attraction. Gift shop could use some more branded items, would have liked a magnet beyond the photo offering.
A. C.
We waited 35 minutes to get in, even though the nice girl told us it's every 15 mins that they let people through, then we had to wait a further 10 mins when we got in the door to enter the experience. First part was more factual with actors and second part was very scary and fun with people jumping out and props and scary noises! Would've given more stars if there wasn't such a wait to go in. Good if you like jumping out of your skin!
J. B.
Visited in May 2018 with my niece and nephew but the experience is still one that comes back to me.
It’s something I should have reported at the time but chose not to because it didn’t make any sense. When entering the event, you are told that the actors will not touch you at any point, and you are asked not to touch them.
About 3/4 of the way through during the final ‘tombs’ part of the tour, a few times you have to squeeze through what look like two large black mattresses sandwiched together. Upon emerging from the last of these, I distinctly felt someone or something put their fingers along the back of my neck in a very quick scratching motion. It was definitely someone’s fingers, and not a cobweb or something, I could distinctly feel the force behind it and the individual digits of the persons hand.
It was not the visitor behind me because we had to put our hands on each other’s shoulders and hers were clamped tight and did not move until the gift shop at the end! My initial thought was that an actor chose to bend the rules for some reason, but I didn’t see any in the area. I don’t see any other accounts of being touched here in the reviews, so I thought I would add my experience to see if anyone else has had a similar time to mine. It was seriously spooky and something I can’t seem to forget about!
Also, the guy chasing you with a chainsaw out of the exhibition was scary, you could smell the fuel, it was real but it just had no chain on it!
We got our moneys worth and I can safely say!

This place is under the bridge/road. It's a short tour through the tunnels under the lead-up to the bridge with actors depicting the history of the London Bridge. At the end of the tour they send you through a haunted house of sorts with lots of jump scares. We had a good time. The end of the tour leads you into Creams Cafe.
A. M.
The experience consisted of two parts. Firstly an acted history episode and then a dark maze gauntlet. The history part was a bit too scripted but the maze was a lot of fun if you allowed yourself to be immersed in the environment. Overall a bit pricey but worth a visit
D. G.
Good fun but very expensive for the amount of time you are inside there
P. M.
Went with my son first thing in the morning. Actors give it all, and make it a great experience. Imagine it gets better at night, and would appeal to an adult crowd even more. Would definitely recommend.
S. K.
As I'm not a huge horror fan myself, I got convinced to come and give the London Bridge Experience a try. The first part was definitely worth seeing, lots of interesting facts about London's gruesome history, a few bits that made me jump (watch out the train...) and most importantly – some great actors down there. As a scared chicken with a high blood pressure, I never made it to the Tombs (which is excellent as you can skip this part if you're too afraid), I made my way straight to the Creams so I could wait for my friends (who loved the Tombs part btw) while eating a super-yummy American waffle. Great experience – thanks, guys!
S. S.
This venue is bigger than it seems, combining a history lesson, a museum and a freight fest in one fun experience. Everything here has been done to a high standard, the props were good and the actors very entertaining. We managed to get a buy one get one free entry online, it's worth looking around for such offers. But either way, it's with the money. There is a cool gift shop following the experience, which then leads into Creams the desert restaurant, where you are entitled to a 20% discount afterwards.
S.
Good fun , learn a little and get spooked
We Went the last show last Saturday after a couple drinks and had a good time. Definitely something different and you have to respect the time and effort that has gone into this quick intense London history class. Give it a go.
S. G.
The staff were brilliant, friendly, welcoming and got you in the spirit of it! Actors were scarier than I thought and I screamed more than I thought I would lol! Fantastic would definitely recommend for the history of the bridge and the fear factor!
A. V. W.
I had high expectations and were maybe abit dissapointed. It was fun, but nothing more than that. It is possibly to skip the last part which is the horror part, so if you just want the bloody history without too much horror you can. We had it included in the london pass so that was fine to experience. But i wouldbt visit it if i had to pay full price
J. B.
We experienced very long wait times only for a mediocre experience. The first half of the experience comes off more so as corny than scary, perhaps better for pre-teen children. It was only the second half of the experience that truly brought the "scares" that were advertised throughout London Travel Guides. Overall an okay experience.
M. D.
Was really good. Not as scary as I expected it to be. Lady who was in front of us said it was better in the summer as they have more staff so they make it a little scarier.
Was a little frustrating when their was about 15 of us all having to hold on each other's shoulders and if you were at the back you knew what was going to happen before it happened.
However the man on the front desk (I'm sorry I didn't get your name) was AMAZING so friendly, jolly and made the whole experience!!!
Thank you and I will try again in summer.
S. S.
Its alright, just like any other dessert place i guess
I. H.
Was really fun experience, a good scare and interesting facts and history about the London Bridge. Highly recommend trying this out. On a plus note, you finish at Creams dessert and you get 20% off. Lovely!
A. A.
We went in not knowing what was gonna happen - the history lessons were interesting and the actors put in a good shift : the last walk through the tombs was the scariest - half the crowd disintegrated like thanos snapped so it was only 3 of us going. Me my girl and a tourist. The walk was scarrrry I was in the back and there was some crazy people following me and we broke the rules Cos we were shook - I yelled “run run they coming!”
Next thing we know me and my girl on the floor and she crying and I had a busted knee but the staff were really friendly they helped us up and got out through the short cut and they gave us a free picture which was really nice of them overall it was lit and would go again
R. J.
I love shows like this, it's very similar to one in San Francisco. The show is divided into two parts, a family friendly part and a scarier part.
The family friendly was very fun and well acted. The issue I had was the 2nd part. Now, to explain, I have worked over 10 years at a major Halloween event for a large theme park in Florida. What I noticed pretty quickly was that there were not nearly enough performers for the 2nd section. While it could have easily fit 40-50 performers, there were 5 or 6. This lead to large gaps throughout. So, A for effort but they just did not have enough people cast to make the 2nd half work.
S. L.
Is more about london bridge history than a scary experience. Is half an hour of history and 10m scary experience. When we went there, looked like there were staff missing as we expected to be scared at some windows and only one actor every 2 rooms. I bit disapointing, but not too bad
S. W.
The ticket is quite expensive and not that worth if you got no London Pass. Not that scary or terrifying in fact but the actors are admirable and playing their parts very well. For the London Tomb part, try not to lead the line (as I did) if you seek for the enjoyment of being frightened.
M. M.
Great location. We had lots of fun... Especially with the chainsaw 😯
M. Z.
Me and my pirates had the best night ever!! Mike is the best and made sure we had A Halloween to remember and we are defo coming back next year for yet another round !! I recommend to go it's thrilling ... jumpy and scary exactly what you need to add to Halloween night with family and/or friends !!! MIKE WE CANT THANK YOU ENOUGH .... from the 2 pirates and 1 sailor :D
A. M.
Been there three times now, the first time was totally crazy scary, however it seems they have been re-doing parts and its really cause a bit of a slacking off in the general experience. Actors doubling up and the whole experience being shorter. All I can say is I hope they can get it back to how it was or better. A really good afternoon out.
H. M.
The kids (6, 10 and 11) and I, throughly enjoyed ourselves. It was non stop screams for about an hour! Great fun. Actors were great! The tombs were the best.
B. A. M.
Overall I enjoyed it, because the people and actors did it with love and care. I was not that much into the scary part and I personally would have liked way more emphasis on the history and historical details, but that is my preference as a history loving person.
C. P.
Really cool and worth a visit. It’s ok for adults and I wouldn’t recommend children under 10 as the maze can be quite scary at times.
Again found on a 2-1 promotion but still at the full price I would recommend.
Easy to find but the wait times can be 25-40 minutes on a busy day.
J. R.
The historical experience bit was excellent and the actors were great all the way through, but the "tombs" section felt underpopulated. I assume this was because we went in off-peak season (January) but was still disappointed with that part.
R. I. U.
Came here ten years ago as a late infant and couldn’t handle the tombs. Came back last Sunday to return to what was now the UK’s scariest attraction. The experience was informative and funny and I got some nostalgia when I saw skeletons shaking cages like in the old version of the London Dungeons. Then the Tombs started. I couldn’t really understand the introduction video but it was exiting experience and it was good to get through what I couldn’t ten years before. There weren’t as many actors as I expected, which lessened the scars, but the actors I did see were amazing. There was one hiding and making sound FX like those of a Predator and there was a frozen figure standing still on the other side of the room from a cage and you had to decide wether to keep your eye on the figure or the cage; was the figure a model or human? Was something about to jump into the cage? And then, the ending had lights flashing so fast that all you could see were freeze frames of everything around you. It was a great experience even if a little short but it’s given me the inspiration to someday make a horror attraction. Oh, and if the tombs are reading this, try to include more of that stone monster thing that busted through the crates, it was pretty cool!
D. R.
Went there as surprise gift. I wasn't really sure what to expect, but it was a lot of fun. Very educational and interactive with actors. Then onto a dungeon experience where you have your fear response tickled. Be prepared to give your inner child an adventure.
V. G.
Great Induction!
I recommend!
5 stars
R. S.
The first half of the tour tells the history of the area. The second half is basically a haunted house. It is very dark and difficult to see in some parts. You have to hold onto the shoulders of the person in front of you the whole way through. It wasn't the least bit scary and seems mostly geared toward teens.
a. w.
It’s not long enough 35 minutes not scary at al just a load of shouting
A. H.
241 entry with train tickets. The first part is educational with some fun actors and small jumps here and there suitable for kids. The tombs afyerwards are a great scare route with lots of scary scenes and amazing actors. Better than farmageddon and pasage del terror! £13/14 each absolute bargain! 👌👌
J. G.
A fun horror experience. Only around 15-20 minutes long though which is not worth the £30 price for the halloween show. Not scary for adults, might scare some kids
A. W.
Great and scary attraction situated near London Bridge and very conveniently across the road from the London Bridge underground station. Not for the fainthearted or under 18's. Enjoyed this attraction and would recommend for a visit.
N. F.
Great history lesson at the start, immersive actors, and loads of jump scares to make you scream. Nearly slapped one actor I was that scared. Would recommend but I definitely don't want to be that scared again.
N. L.
It was a scary exciting tour. The team is doing their job really good. I was a little bit disapointed because it took only 1 hour. I'd have loved it to be longer, so I give only 4 stars
S. M.
Was brilliant went for the london tombs experience was so funny u had these like zombie things chasing u it was mostly pitch black u had to get through some tight spaces
B. F.
Overall a good fun but a bit disappointed because it was short & not so scary...
Very difficult to understand if you are not fluent in English (and the audio guide in your own language doesn't 'reflect' the show of the actors)
M. L.
A good attraction for kids and adults. Kids will love the "scary" immersive atmosphere created. Same for the adults but adding the historic part. 3 stars because of the expensive price compared to the duration of the attraction.
J. Y.
Yeah really fun and surprisingly scary!
C. M.
Great experience, especially for the younger teens
A. W.
Quite interesting but not that scary. They tell you beforehand that tye scares will not touch you so you kind of know what is going to happen. Scaresville in Suffolk is much more scary. £56 for a family of four for about an hour and a half. There is a bit of history beforehand about how life on London Bridge was in yesteryear.
N. N.
There was an educational section with excellent actors which was really fun and then a exciting and scary part with people jumping out and scaring you but there was also a guided angel part for You for younger people which was very helpful.
R. P.
Just a quick jump from the shard. The actors go through some history of london scary stuff. They take you under the bridge in their hainted house. Dont go with young kids, if you are pregnant, have a heary condition or seizure disorder. Yes this is touristy but with london pass it is free. Ice cream shop next door to help kill time if needed
V.
Really nice day out with kids beautiful view from the top loved it
M. S.
Scarier than the most scary horror movie I have ever seen! In the beginning it's is a bit bored but if they ask of you want to the most scariest part it's is the hell itself! One thing, there is a room with dolls.
n.
Entertaining, fun, not too spooky, good way to learn history, very fun trip idea. Staff makes good jokes, very friendly I guess. Overall a great experience
t. m. r.
It was interesting as a concept and definitely quality. Not sure I should have done the maze but I did and I survived. Wishing some of my friends who love this stuff were with me cause they would have loved it.
B. B.
Fantastic place, extremely scary and informative! Actors brilliant scare people brilliant! If you love scare and horror...oh and history about London bridge you must go!!
F. H.
Was quite a fun :) We had in it in our london pass. We didn't regret! The people there are very motivated and seem to have fun playing their roles.
M. P.
i went to London bridge experience in June I went alone the first part was excellent actors were great talking about the history of the bridge when I was going to go in the tombs my nerves got the better of me and asked for guardian angel as luck had it I went in with a mother and young child we were guided through with a torch it was still scary and dark but zombies didn't scare us after it finished I felt that I missed out on extra fun I will be visiting g again soon it heads up on London dungeons x
J.
Pretty fun, a little activity to do with friends or family. Staff are friendly. Prices are a bit much for what it is but we had a good time so can't really say much bad.
J. C.
Really cool history lesson, plus a bit scary at the end
J. A.
Amazing experience that is educational as well as scary. Not for the faint of heart, but if you love history and love to be scared this attraction is for you.
H. T.
Enjoyed the experience with great actors. Very interactive way to learn about the history of London Bridge and the tombs were very good!
P. M.
Brilliant place to take the kids..definitively not for the young ones! Most kdmf the staff very friendly. I found some of the staff quite rude though...seemed to have a thing against young teenagers!
S. M.
The staff were very good playing the part of old world London, also very scary for my wife and daughter of 18, great day and berry funny , but over to quickly
A. d. B.
Decent experience, but we showed up late in the day and they gave us a half experience without telling us in advance. If you stay open until 6pm, put on the full show until then!!
L. T.
We had fun at this place! The actors are taking their Job very seriously. The best part is at the End of the attraction.
R. S.
It was fun! The first half was great! The actors were very good! The second half, the scary part was just silly.
P. B.
Dont waste your money. Had to queue for over a hour. Then walked round boring part to get to the tombs. Now this was good compared to the start.
D. W.
Not really historical lessons but scaring fun for young people. Best for young lovers. They scare the girls. Going alone is not best suited.
J.
This is one stop not to be missed. They have an amazing staff and the actors are brilliant!! You will laugh, scream and be educated all at the same time!
B. S.
It was an amazing but really scarry experience! I highly reccomend it. But I would not bring my children.
J. G.
Bring a change of pants. You will jump and you will be scared. Really good day out family really enjoyed it.
K. C.
The actors do a good job, with the zombies in the basement very effective. The 11 year old I was with loved it. Me? So, so.
V. M.
Wasnt that scary until the end I fell and lost my wallet and the employees were diligent on finding it. Good customer service one of the staff kept me company talking until they found it.
W. M.
A great "scare maze" type of experience. Definitely some unique things that I hadn't seen before. Worth the time and price. Highly suggest.
R. W.
This was incredible. I had such a good time at phobophobia even though I was scared out my skin. Made me drop to the floor and all sorts.
S. S.
I loved it. Enjoyed the info delivered. Rest of family a bit scared with the youngest preferring not to have gone.
S. D.
Smells bad in there, like urin.
Acting is mediocre and it's really not that scary. Maybe appeals more to the teenage crowd.
T. B.
It was a bit scary and educative. I liked it
F. B.
Scary in the most fun way! So exciting, and the people there were amazing. I can't wait to go back!
E. B.
Really good would definitely visit again, the staff were brilliant and my teenage daughter loved it. Not really suitable for younger children
A. L.
Most amazing chill factor terrifying scared the be jayus out of me . Best show ever an 100 per cent recommend.
C. L.
visited today with my bestest friend, was set out really well, Great hour of fun, enjoyed very much.
P. T.
Really scary, amazing experience :)
a. v.
It was okay. The visit took about 35 minutes lining up (with fast track), and about 1 hour inside.
M. P.
Excellent scary time great atmosphere
Well worth the money.
T. M.
OK experience. Price point too high. Not as many actors in the walk through as expected but a fun hour.
S. S.
Must try, kids really enjoy it if u find it scary after first level get angel's help.
a. d.
It’s an alright experience but not worth the money for what you get.
It felt very rushed and the tomb was very good.
N. s.
I don't have words on how good it is
It's funny but scary at the same time
The workers are really friendly and funny
Thank you from the great time xx❤️❤️
L.
Amazing! Very scary! Shop and entrance could be based in a more obvious place but it's still really good
L. C.
Great laugh, makes you jump but not scarry... actors were fab 👍 Not allowed to take pics.
F. A.
It was just ok. Definitely better places to spend time. Ok for teens not so good for younger kids.
J. C.
I still wake up with night terrors. The worst part was halfway through when I remembered that people put pineapple on pizza.
M. L.
Was so fun but the timing is too short. The whole experience last about 10minutes
Z. S.
Absolutely brilliant, the staff are fantastic! Definitely worth the money for a good time and a good scare!
Y. T.
If you're a bit on the mad side and like having fun then this is for you. It was extremely exhilarating I really really enjoyed it.
M. K.
Supposed to be scariest and also give you Londons history but was mostly jump scares and 10 min of history
R. C.
It was long, theatrical, history lesson, which we enjoyed. Glad it lasted as long as it did, worth the wait.
C. H.
Actors were fantastic! I wouldn't pay for it though if it wasn't with the London Pass.
D. B. (.
Good day out, quite scary. But felt rushed through, the whole experience.
Chainsaw man was great.
c. m.
This place is perfect ! It is worth the money you pay for, it is a mixture of horror and history.
M. K.
Disappointed. Covid has ruined this event as the characters can no longer get in to your face.
K. W.
Amazing! Would recommend for anyone whos looking for a scare. Hope to visit again soon
p. W.
Really scary Ryan from promo was excellent at promoting the venue and got us in there
s. h.
A good place to learn a bit of history of London Bridge. And a scarey maze which keeps you screaming!
J. W.
Really cool experience, loved learning about London's dark history!
D. S.
Fun experience, great staff.I use a walker they were very helpful.
O. C. L.
Starts of slow but it's the best London ride by the time it's over.
E. H.
I was terrified, do not recommend. Unless your insane.
C. W.
Absolutely terrifying but great fun! Definitely recommend!
j. k.
Billed as scariest attraction in London, personally didn't find it that scary
H. f.
Was ok. Don't think the actors were that into it on the day we went so that spoilt it a bit.
C. W.
A nice experience about the life in London in the dark edges and a thrilling experience at the end of the show
A. S.
Not Bad, You should do that... Except if you're close to your money.. A litle bit expensive for what's !
E.
Not much information but the tombs are creepy
H. S.
not a spooky as i liked but a great treat to have

I though this was a bit average to be honest and overpriced for what it was, even with a two for one ticket offer.

Very informative. Fun and immersive experience. The London tombs were very exciting and definitely gets the blood pumping. Good value for money!
1.
(Translated) Strong walkthrough in the history of the London Bridge which is divided into two parts. The first part is purely historical and educational..the second part is extremely scary in places where you think you are in a real nightmare. I would like it to last a little longer maybe ( close to 40 minutes) out of the 60 it advertises. Nevertheless, I highly recommend it, especially to horror lovers.
(Original)

(Translated) A great experience during the first part, which deals with the ancient history of London, young children can attend without worry.
However, in the second part of the tombs, you can not enter it and go through another passage so as not to traumatize the youngest children or the most sensitive adults.
For other people, it still deserves a little more fright. It’s a little too wise for my taste. I was the first to open the passage and luckily because otherwise it would have been a little too quiet. Rest assured it's still thrilling, strobe lamp with an actor advancing as the lights go out!
This worth the pain.
(Original)

(Translated) This tour is definitely worth the money. The first part explains very clearly what happened to London Bridge. The actors and scenes put our group under their spell!
In the second part we weren't sure at first whether we should really participate, especially since half of the group got out. At some point it was too late and we had to 'go through'. I don't want to reveal too much here, it is worth it, if only because afterwards and of course during it you get an unbelievable adrenaline rush and are happy about the outcome with pounding hearts. A little tip on the side: very scared people should not run at the beginning or at the end!

(Translated) Great, you need steel nerves. Not recommended for young children. It is more than worth it. Enjoyed very much, only needed half an hour to recover.

(Translated) The attraction begins with a short historical walk on London bridges from the first, which was built by the Romans, then carried over into the sinister urban legends embedded in the works of Paul Doherty, Arthur Conan Doyle and other authors. Finally you will have an extreme tour of the secrets of London, you will flee from the flames of the fire that broke out in 1666 and so on. The actors play very well. If you can't stand horrors, you better skip it.

(Translated) I have always admired this example of architecture from the outside. By purchasing "the London bridge experience" you will have the opportunity to admire the interiors of this splendid bridge. You will walk suspended on London traffic with the help of floor-to-ceiling windows and admire the history of this magnificent monument. With the purchase of the ticket "the London Bridge experience" you can also combine the purchase to get on the "monument" monument symbol of the "great fire of London" placed just where the fire was triggered. If you are not afraid of climbing numerous spiral steps that will take you to the top at 62 meters to admire a small glimpse of the city!

(Translated) Had the London Pass and entry is included.
We got the tickets with the pass at the cash desk (around the corner) and then had to wait about 15 minutes. If you don't speak English, you can get an audio guide, but you have to say it separately.
Actors take you through different rooms and the somewhat eerie history of London Bridge is brought closer to you in a funny and scary way.
Before the second part begins, you are told again that it is not for the faint of heart and you can stop here and go out.
You then walk one behind the other (arms on the shoulders of the person in front) through dark corridors and rooms and are always frightened by actors and noises.
The actors scare you, but they don't touch you.
Thrills and fun are guaranteed. We liked it a lot and I would do it again.
Not for people who are terrified of clowns or the like.

(Translated) Great but a pity that there is no audio guide, contrary to what was written on the site. Complicated to understand everything.
(Original)

(Translated) Average attraction. It is true that they describe and show a bit of the history of the bridge and London, there are audioguides in Polish, but I didn't really like it. I ignore the fact that the translation was not adequate to the story in English. It wasn't terrible either, although some screamed. Applause for actors, because working like this is an average pleasure.

(Translated) History, entertainment & a little horror
Everything combined with a different kind of guided tour of London's history.
Not for the very faint of heart but otherwise recommended for everyone!
(Original)

(Translated) The London Bridge Experience is nicely done, rather creepy, and tells you something about the history of London Bridge. If you only want to see this part, the price is rather less, as it is quite expensive.
The London Tombs are very scary in my opinion. One should take the age limits very much to heart, besides, one should have no problem with touching the person's shoulders in front of one and also being held by the person behind the shoulders. It is not for the faint of heart, but very well done for those who like such things!
(Original)

(Translated) Attention to asthmatics and sensitive people: we paid the attraction at the normal price and at one time we were asked if we were asthmatic / sensitive to put us on the side.
Finally we were shown a door and it was actually the exit! It was so short and even if the first part was very well staged and very nice it spoiled the fun.
(Original)
