Reviews of Vue Cinema London - Westfield Stratford
S. P.
This is a great cinema based inside Westfield Stratford. Lots of snacl options including ice cream. Ample parking facility available. Safe and secure.

I went here to watch Matrix Resurrection and Gucci. Had good experiences with both. Gucci the seating was on the far left handside no one in front of us which was great. I recommend getting tickets beforehand so you don't have to wait around. Long queue at the refreshment counter if you planning to buy anything factor in the time.
L. S.
It's great that it's open until late in the night and the popcorn is delicious. A major downside is the prices of the food and the waiting time in the queue. It's quite expensive to buy anything there and if you're looking to purchase a snack you better be there at least 30 minutes before your movie starts. On weekends the queues get massive and the staff doesn't seem to be able to handle such an amount of people so waiting time will be a lot more than you expected. Also there's a lot of ads playing before the start of the movie so be prepared. Other than that the atmosphere is great
C. M.
Such an amazing place & great customer services, that was a problem and we were unable to see movie, some technical problems.
All customers got a refund or they could exanged to see another movie, plus as a gest will gesture, we only pay for 1 person, instead of 2.
One star down is for the toilets, bit more attention is needed.
L. “. n.
Not bad prices at all, around £7 a ticket which is pretty good. Movie screens are big and clean seats. Staff are generally nice and not overbearing. On the bad side the drinks arent refillable (due to the label under them) and there are often long queues. Most of the self serves are broken but some do still work.
S. A.
Book in advance and no need to print your ticket. The QR code sent to your email is enough to get you in.
The queues for popcorn and drinks didn't look very long but we were waiting about 30mins to be served. Get there early, I saw many people step out of the queue becuase they were missing the film they came to watch.
The seating inside the cinema is booked to allow for social distancing which was being observed when I went.
The pick n mix was closed.
Great cinema and good viewing experience.
T. L. W.
Living local to this venue I frequently visit, the venue is clean and a great place if you are after movie and meal as there are plenty of choices locally. Pricing is good compared to other local cinemas however if you want drinks and snacks ensure you get here a minimum of 30minutes before your film as I have seen sloths move faster than the cashiers behind the confectionery counter. Every time I visit this cinema I'm queuing for at least 20 minutes before being seen, with managers and staff just chatting taking their time has every till has a long queue of People waiting to be served. I would recommend however the service isnt great.
J. N.
Takes a bit of finding but its there all right! Tucked away in a corner in one of the loft fold spaces. Staggering 20 screen cinema costing £6.99 a seat I gather having visited it once only. Nice and modern. Newly built. Loadsa ice cream, sweets, drinks to try.
C. C.
Really nice place to chill out for a pretty good meal. Alot of of respect for the staff at Nandos, they are wonderful. I don't know how they cope with all that crowd and all the madness that comes with it and yet keep a smiling face . I love them 💗. God bless them all
F. K. I.
Its kinda small for a cinema, especially the screen size (the cineworld @west India quay has bigger screen for the same price) but the location its convenient as its located inside the mall.
It has like a upper level floor which makes it a bit easier to find for anyone going amd just trying to find the place but it does get super packed quite quickly unless you book in advance.
A.
Westfield Vue has become my cinema of choice, because of its usually solid presentation of the films. But I went to see The Batman last night and the screen brightness was too low, making an already dark film even harder to see, the volume was too quiet and the bass was no better than my car speakers. All of that accumulates to just diminish the impact of the service and the overall experience.
These problems are present in pretty much every multiplex I go to now. There is an obvious lack of care or interest from the management and staff in delivering an outstanding cinematic experience worth travelling and paying for. It just feels like they’re pressing ‘play’ on a projector with no quality checks on the presentation.
If this the case and if there is a declining value of being in the auditorium, then I don’t blame people for asking what the point of going to a cinema is when they can have similar experiences at home.
M. H.
Love it here!,Screens are huge, seats are comfortable. You have to book in advance really though to guarantee a place.Popcorn a bit overpriced but movies £6.99 if you pay online so not bad in comparison to some places
E. A.
I loved the movieKing Richard! I loved the shopping mall but was not impressed with the cleaniness of the cinema.
There was a significant amount of litter around and not enough cleaning staff.
Due to the holidays, there was a large volume of people visiting the cinema and leaving a trail of litter and mess which marred the experience. Also most of the toilets were blocked, dirty and disgusting.
The movie was great and I'll love to watch it again with my children, but I am not sure if I will visit there again.
J. B.
Great place to visit and Watch the latest movies. Managed to watch the New James bond film. Prices are really good for a good seat. Less busy during the week. 😀👍
R. B.
A large busy cinema. The prices are pretty keen - when booking online - and the app allows quick access into the theatres.
The choice of snacks is standard, but they are tasty; the food queues are quick.
In the theatre, the standard seats are comfy and clean.
The use of the Vue app made the entire booking to viewing experience quick and seamless.
However, I expect that should there be a need to interact with staff the experience could be less positive, given how busy the place is. In my case, a light was flickering and I had to sit through it, until the light was dimmed when the film started.
S. H.
Good cinema good screens and sound system great for family and friends days out. The only issue I have with this vue is the till to buy your ticket and confectionery is obserdly long my friends and I stood for 30 minuets before deciding to leave the cue to catch the rest of the film (we where 20min late to the film) because of this
V. J.
Not as good a place as expected in a busy place like Westfield. Cinemas are way too hot and you cannot sit comfortably in just a top. The seats are comfy and the timings are excellent. The food is generally good although severely overpriced - £2.70 for a bottle of Fanta/Coke/Oasis etc. The first time I went, the person standing at the entry kiosk was very rude. He didn’t let us go into the movie until we showed ID. I mean who brings ID to a cinema anyway.
Decent but expectations are much higher in a busy, popular place…
M. A.
Vue have come a long way in competing with Cineworld. The decor, service, sanitising stations are up to date and is very modern. The screens appear clean, and don’t have a bad ‘old cinema’ room smell. I always like visiting Vue in Westfield Stratford despite the extortionate parking charges which outside of Vue’s remit.
J. V.
Great ticket prices, clean auditoriums and friendly staff. Also due to the size of the cinema, they're able to show a whole host of movies every day. Really cool.
C. (.
Most of the toilets were closed, otherwise a well run cinema. Happy to visit again and nice to see staff doing quality checks.
More stars when the toilets work.
I. H.
Great looking cinema with many visuals to engross you in the cinematic experience from the entrance! Many different times available for popular movies, but can get very very busy.
C. O.
Super affordable cinema with lovely décor! Arrive early because the lines can be outrageous. Bathrooms can be hit and miss but the screens themselves are well maintained
S. B.
I really like VUE although I don't really get the chance to go as much as I'd like to just because I have another cinema chain closer to me. Whenever I do get the chance though, the experience is always the best. Always clean, smells nice & so much space in the screening rooms. Great ticket prices too when you buy online.
M. H.
Great place to go on your day off.
The tickets are super cheap- £7 for 2D movies.
A lot of families from the area go there at the weekends to see some movies with the kids.
The rooms are not too big, but the quality is great.
I go there on my days off when it’s raining outside and I feel lazy 😁
A.
Good screens, amazong staff, like they are really amazing and very helpful and good movies there with the best quality. Even have amazing seats for standard tickets.
I highly recommend this cinema 👍👍👍
Z. B.
If I get a mixed popcorn but taste neither sugar nor salt then theres something gone wrong. Thankfully their staff is quite nice, seats and general screens are clean (ish). Overall experience is never great but decent cinema experience
K. R.
Watched 'Uncharted'
Overall experience was good. Nothing extraordinary. If you want to just watch a movie rather than an experience, it's good.
F. A. S.
Nice atmosphere, pretty empty on a weekday around midday over the summer holidays. Watched Space Jam with family. The staff were friendly. The cinema was pretty clean. The seats were nice and the screen was good too. The sound was pretty loud but the visual and audio quality was pretty good.
S. E.
I like this cinema because of the options they have and the vue extreme screens and VIP seats. Staff are normally helpful and kind and I like watching films for 6.99, 9.49 if vip when booked online.
Female Toilets could be cleaner and if the toilets near screen 6 are out of use, there should be a sign saying out of use before you go all the way down the hallway just to walk back.
They did not have vegan ice-cream which was a shame
I tend to not buy popcorn from them because it can be stale.
Good cinema overall
O. O.
Went to watch Spider-Man: No Way Home and had a good experience. 4/5 only because the line to buy snacks moves very slowly so I would recommend getting there a good 20 mins before your film starts.
M.
Good location and decent screens. Some are a bit too small but can't really complain as it's part of a shopping center.
N. C.
Such a convenient location, good screens clean and tidy, staff are friendly, can get extremely busy at the concession stand so make sure you arrive with plenty of time at hand if you want to grab your popcorn nachos ice blasts etc highly recommend this cinema
S. T.
Great cinema with excellent seating. The tiering is high enough that you don't worry much about someone sitting in front of you.
Popcorn is pretty expensive, £6.50 for a large.... But the tickets are only £7 so I guess it evens out
P. B.
The cinema itself is great. Some of the staff are lacking in charm. Largely let down by ignorant and selfish patrons behaviour during the films; phones on loud, taking photos of themselves, loud talking, bright smart watches going off, etc.
J.
Our local cinema! It’s amazing because it’s got 9 screens and they all play new movies. The bar serves alcohol- a plus for parents, there’s ice cream and candy and popcorn for kids. You can print tickets at the machine or show them the qr code on your phone- it’s all good. Pro tip- arrive 30mins after the time for the movie, you’ll still have time to buy popcorn and not miss the movie!
Recliner seats and space so comfortable! Will be back! Affordable price for tickets and car parking next door. Nandos, pizza express etc. You get 20% off pizza express with your cinema ticket. Recommend to book ahead!
S. O.
The seats were very uncomfortable, yes we bought the cheap seats. But the cheap seat in other venues are comfortable.
The toilet were absolutely disgusting, and I am a camper I used to some sites.unfortantely I had a very bad experience.
Hopefully it was just a bad day!
R. V. Z.
I’m 16. But don’t swear at me.
Due to a problem with your ticket machine, me and my friends got tickets to the wrong movie printed. As well as wasting half an hour of our time, a female member of staff was swearing whilst talking to us, extremely rude and unprofessional, when we are polite young women. Fortunately, we don’t like confrontation so we kept everything calm. Please don’t trouble us like that next time😂. This happened when The Conjuring movie came out. I’ll give you 4 stars because my other experiences were alright, maybe it was a long day. 👍
B. S.
Ok here's the deal the cinema in terms of its equipment, seats and screening is fantastic but the people are insecure animals that love to beg for attention by talking loudly so that everyone can hear them absolutely ridiculous and cringe!!!
H. J.
Easy location to access via bus or train. Great no of screens. Online service available there to purchase tickets quickly without queuing. The sound in the screens are amazing!
B.
Pop corn was ok , nachos were average as well and the screen was not that big either. Newham show case do decent nachos. The price of pop corn and stuff was not worth it versus the quality and taste.
F. R.
Nice cinema. Good screens, nice options for candy and pop corn, lots of movie options, opens early. Only complaint is that Stratford should give you free parking. A bit greedy not doing so when going to spend money within shopping mall.
T. I.
Cinema has loads to offer from plenty of screens and snacks. Service was very slow and it wasn't during a busy hour. Not many big screens however, but otherwise a convenient location for anyone around east London for convenient prices
S.
Went to watch a movie recently. Overall a decent experience, the seats were comfortable but the escalator was not working, neither were the toilets next to the screens were working. Nachos we bought were good.
S. H.
I liked the film and the experience of the sound and vision. However, I was a more than a little concerned and apprehensive due to the kavk of people not wearing a mask, especially since the recent rise of the ne variant of COVID. To be honest, the cinemas should not have any complaints if they get locked down as the make NO EFFORT to implement mask wearing at all. Shame in you.
J. L.
Overall ok experience. The venue was a bit dirty and could be cleaned more thoroughly. The terminals don't work correctly. Lines for the snack bar was slow even though they weren't too long. The theater was a bit dirty and the seating options weren't really covid compliant (strangers can sit next to you). Movie selection and viewing times are great though.
A. S.
Like this place a lot, queues for treats are long peak periods, screens and sound are great. VIP seats are nice worth a few extra quid.
P. L.
First thing first.
BOOK ONLINE BEFORE YOU LEAVE HOME!
I went to a Wednesday night 7.30 screening of no time to die and there as plenty of people at the cinema waiting in line to get a ticket but if you book online then it works out cheaper and you don’t have the agro of having to wait to use the ticket machine and risk missing the start of the film.
Ticket prices are a lot cheaper then odeon prices so it was a no brainer to go to vue.
I paid the little bit extra for a comfy seat with more leg room and a wider chair and I found it to be very acceptable.
The food and drink outlets their were as at most cinemas very expensive so if you want to save money then have a big dinner before you leave home because quite frankly the prices for food and drink can work out to cost more then the ticket price.
As for ticket prices then most tickets are either £6.99 or £7.99 which is very reasonable.
The actual cinema experience with the screen and the sound was amazingly good and I couldn’t complain at all as the film colour and quality was pin sharp and sound was amazing.
My only problem of my own doing was that I sat next to a beautiful lady who was with a older woman and a male who may of been a brother or friend but I spoke to her before the start of the film and I just wish that I had of asked her out for a drink or at least tried to exchange phone numbers but if that lovely lady happens to read this review and was at the Wednesday night 6th of October 7.30pm screening of bond at Stratford and sat in J18 then it would be lovely to hear from her but yea I know I’m really clutching at straws and it’s my fault for not asking her at the time.
All in all tho a great night.
F. H.
Good sound and image quality. Seating area did not look clean. There were huge queues to get snacks.
B. T.
That's alright , better if you buy drink and etc out side , because of exactly this Vue Cinema doesn't have a lot of thinks 🤔 most of time
S. S.
It's usually not too crowded, but better to go on weekdays. Tickets are good value for money.
S. A.
Good experience as such however they may improve on:
- cleanliness of restrooms
- not wasting away first 30 mins in commercials
- pricing of food esp soft drinks
w.
Big, prices reasonable.... though buy online, it's cheaper?
However, very messy & toilets rank.... get what you pay for I guess.
S. B.
Very big view rooms amazing quality and sound maybe a bit to loud but very gd cinema can't really question cinema snack (I don't eat them) however the oreo milkshake was amazing the quality of the milkshake alone was full of flavour
C. B.
The nachos were great and the cinema was nice and clean, the sound is also very good
r. p.
The cinema its self is decent and the staff very friendly. However, the management really need to hire more staff to help with rush hour.
M. c.
It's the best go to place for movies! I always come here to watch atleast twice a month, it's so much better on the weekdays as it's not very busy.
b. m.
came and booked a movie at the kiosks downstairs I booked 2 tickets only 1 was printed out but the staff were helpfull and quickly resolved this issue I think there was a few times it happened to different people
C. G.
Nice cinema comfy seats, not crowded at all.
V. B.
Great place but having no mobile data connection was a real pain, had to go outside the mall just to retrieve the booking code..
Otherwise a great experience as always.
M. A.
Visited this place for many movies. They had good sound system and more than 10screens, you will find shows for all the movies.
H. S.
Good rooms and large snack/drink shop. Affordable tickets. But really needs more cleaning, lot of rubbish on the floor and everywhere.
C. T.
Seats are not very comfortable and there was a smudge on the middle of the screen. Looked like it reflected the light like a shiny mirror right at the middle of the screen.
S. B.
Absolutely beautiful cinema, spacious, clean, multiple screens, easy to get to even if not shopping in Westfield Shopping Centre. Definitely recommend.
M. L.
I really enjoyed my visit to this cinema, however, felt that it was a little under staffed for a Saturday. I'm not sure if this is down to covid or automation but the staff seemed a little to rushed off their feet.
R. H.
Stuck in a little theatre upstairs this time around. But still a good place to go with friends.
M. J.
Really enjoyed the new spider man, clean and nice seating too
M. E.
Great cinema tbh. Only issue is that can be slow service to buy drinks etc.
g. a.
Clean and very comfortable seating.
Very good cinematic experience
N. C.
Very nice please lots of food on sale cinema itself very lovely staff nice lots of parking
K. I.
Good cinema, tickets are reasonably priced.
Popcorn and other food is TOO OVERPRICED.
D. S.
Great cinema, inexpensive tickets and comfortable seats. Well worth a visit.
A. V.
Staff very slow serving customers at the till. Empty hand sanitizers. I didn't see any signs reminding customers to wear a mask in the lobby area, but Its possible I missed them
3 stars as they are still better than a lot of other cinemas in london
D. M.
Great Cinema. But there are often such long queues ....it should make a difference if you've already paid for your tickets at the machines.....they should look at improving that. Staff aren't always friendly, some seem so tired and frustrated.
S. K.
The biggest screen gives you the true cinema feeling. The sound is amazing!
H. B.
It is very spacious , tidy , clean , sleek , modern , big , very secure , full of seats and has huge screen which is good for seeing new movies that you like to see in there for good memories forever. The staff are responsive , respectful , professional , quick , efficient , attentive , sociable , friendly , kind and helpful that is something you always to see in the industry like this because they experts in there job. The food are very expensive which means you spend more money food that is a huge disappointment , let down and disaster because if you are hungry and don’t want to miss the movie in the cinema then you should be prepared to pay a lot of money for something that you can cheaper and more value for your money. The tickets are little bit overpriced but not too overpriced that is something that I always admired in cinema like this in fact. I have seen Suicide Squad in this cinema years ago and I really enjoyed it to be honest because it was action packed movie that I can say the price I paid for the ticket was reasonable and one off exception price that I was happy to pay for only.
m. a.
Regular seats (£7.99) vibrated with the sound. Not sure I liked that. If u buy online is £1 cheaper, btw.
K. L.
Lovely. Spacious, comfy seats. I didn't have to get up to allow someone to pass...that is a big bonus! Service was good. Screen a good size. My preferred place to see a film!
A. C.
Clean and safe environment to enjoy film. After covid 19 lock down They need us please go there. 😂😂 007 🔫today 🔫😂
L. J.
Really decent cinema but food at the counter is way over priced and there’s always a queue at Vue! Be great if they had a jungle of really massive plants growing in the atrium here, massive waste of energy heating a huge space that only has some self service machines. What about the thousands of homeless people in London, maybe a affordable hostel too?
Extensive planting would be a real improvement to the bland consumer maze the is Westfield. Would improve the air quality and look amazing.
G. L.
Pleasant helpful staff. Lovely relaxing venue.
R. H.
Shame about how long you have to queue for snacks. The rest of the experience was very good.
b. a.
Didn't clean the seats, my drink had cracks on both sides so it kept coming out
B. D.
17 screens available and a Vue extreme screen. Great location, strongly recommend booking and printing tickets in advance and using self kiosk. Long waits and slow service in the customer service queues during busy times.
No mobile network on the top floor in the cinema at least on EE.
N.
This cinema is located on the top floor of Stratfords Westfield shopping centre. It is a great cinema and I have been here many times. It has over 15 screens and it shows a wide range of films from action, to horror, to romance etc. It is a large cinema which makes it easy to get tickets for a film that you would like to watch. The cinema is quite difficult to get to as you need to go up a lot of escalators and may get lost if you have never been here before. The cinema also sells popcorn, drinks, ice cream and more. I don't buy these but many people do. I would recommend this cinema
a. d.
A lot of pluses but one massive MINUS point. The que waiting time hurts. It hurts MUCH MORE when you see how much everything costs OUCH!
Bring your own EVERYTHING YOU EAT OR DRINK. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
Y. Q.
I went to Vue Cinema which is located inside of Stratford Westfield Centre. It was great. There was a enormous Screen and good quality seats there was also VIP seats available for booking. I watched Fast and Furious 9 here it was lovely.
L. B.
pretty average cinema nothing special. good location at the top floor of the Westfield good way to end the day in Westfield
m. g. l.
Very spacious and comfortable space. Clean and well ventilated
N. B.
Turned up here to see the latest Starwars film dressed as a stormtrooper. They not only welcomed me in but looked after my kit while I enjoyed the film with my kids. Cheers! Especially to the manageress :)
A. R.
Apart from blowing your eardrums when you watch a movie it was ok . I usually listen to loud music but this one was too loud for a movie.
C. B.
Awesome place for watching movies. You can also bring your own snacks (which is awesome).
S. K.
Serving takes freaking ages... far too long unfortunately.... Other than that great.
P. 9.
Friendly staff, clean cinema. Wheelchair accessible.
S. D.
18 months later post covid lockdown, felt great being at the cinema again watching a marvel movie with the sounds effect on the big screen. The cinema has maintained the distance within seats & all staff were wearing face masks. Stratford venue is a good value if you book online & reserve the best seats. Highly recommend.
T.
I've been here a few times. They have lots of screens and good deals. The staff is also super friendly and helpful. The man at the counter made sure we got good deals.
J. F.
Standard cinema, clean, friendly staff. Only negative was that the food purchased wasn't nice.
s. a.
Excellent cinema and very easily accessible. After covid, it feels clean and great quality overall.
N. A.
Very good cinema but the ques can be very long, understandably. Also, if you're wondering their sweet popcorn is nice and their nachos are also nice, I recommend grabbing a large one though.
A. F.
Great cinema, audio & video quality, friendly staff.
The most disappointing thing though is the lack of the staff attention to people not following covid restrictions (no masks, coming up close in the queue etc).
So I will not go again
E. S. L.
It was a nice movie .. enough space
S. P. N.
Good theatre, really decent price.
t. s.
Very busy .
a good cinema in Stratford Westfield's shopping centre with lots of shops and restaurants
M. M.
Good screens, sound and seats. Horrendously expensive drinks and the slowest customer service by the staff at the concessions. Seriously I've seen faster moving statues.
Paid extra for Vuextreme to see Spiderman, apart from them turning the sound up to 11 I'm not really sure what I got for my money.
T. V.
Could have given it 5 Stars, but man really your sits need some love, should have taken some pics, but shout out to your cleaning staff, your chairs need some cleaning. Dont want to bring some bed bugs at home.
N. A.
Book VIP not sure why nothing special and the heating must have been on really hot, but my son enjoyed his movie
M.
Good cinema good value book early extremely busy
R. K.
Love it! It can get busy so I got VIP seats
J. “.
Saw Godzilla v King Kong. In the extreme screen. Enjoyed. Prices are great at the moment. Their doing a deal of £ 6.99 if you book online. Well worth it.
V. L.
My favourite cinema. Staff friendly, facilities very clean. But come at least 20 minutes to get snacks as the queue is massive.
L. D.
Watched Candyman @ Vue cinema Westfield Stratford WoW the food is really expensive and the movie wasn't even that scary unfortunately.👎
D. L.
Saw a quiet place 2 preview. The lady who did the introduction was amazing, so friendly and welcoming. The screen itself was good but the sound was off slightly.
K. A.
Although it's a bit difficult to find, it's a great cinema with the amazing price of £7, for a great experience. Don't waste your money on premium seats, get a normal seat early. Also, the food is expensive, so either eat up or get something cheap and small there.
S. B.
Love this cinema as plenty of places to grab a bite and get a drink nearby, plus two stops on the train for me so makes it a winner 🏆
C. A.
I really like this cinema. The screens are big so you don’t feel too closed in. The seats are comfy even if you don’t opt for a VIP seat. The toilets are clean and plentiful. Staff are always nice. Only gripe would be the cost of concessions, i know cinemas are notorious for being expensive but almost £20 for 2 drinks and a popcorn was a lot!
L. M.
Saw The Father. On a Saturday 12.15 showing, I left it late to book it but it fitted in with my caring duties. It's a good cinema.
A. S.
always a pleasure. Could I suggest a till just for tickets?
A. R. K.
Excellent movie . Vue cinema Westfield Stratford. Recommended to everyone
T. A.
It's a amazing cinema, with topnotch drinks and popcorn.
W. O.
It's probably the wrong time to review this cinema, on the last day before lockdown 2.0, with the drinks fridge and pick n mix shelves empty...but ... the seats were comfy, the screen was clear, temperature was good and it was clean. Can't really ask for anything more. Sadly our last cinema date this year most likely, which is putting me in a funk, but that's definitely not Vue's fault!
M. L.
We purchased VIP tickets for our movie intrigued by how different it could be, however there really isn't much difference in the seats. VIP seats are slightly bigger (can sit crossed legged) with a slightly larger armrest on each seat. We were seated near the middle of the cinema. But you're better off getting the standard seats towards the back of the cinema.
Temperatures during the movie was nicely controlled. Not too cold that I've felt in other cinemas, nor too hot. Just right and comfortable.
One issue was during the movie, whenever the screen had a white background, we could see the grainy texture of the screen. However, overall nice experience. Just don't expect much of VIP!
T. C.
Been there with the bf to watch the Justice League, and it was amazing! Especially because it wasn't crowded, gherkin screen and sound amazing! And the chairs are comfy!
L.
Nice cinema. Was shockingly busy but that's by no means staff's fault. Staff were great at organising queues for customers when we first arrived.
M. R.
It was clean easy to book and the film was good. Only issue is that despite the social distancing measures and having a few select seats to choose from, a couple came and sat right behind me. And the person coming in and checking if people were wearing masks and in the right seats failed to notice this. No one had masks on and people were not sitting where they should be. Measures need to be more harsh.
R.
Amazing cinema, comfy seats, sound from movie amazing. And cheap tickets
D. F.
Watched ghost busters, amazing cinema, great for kids nice place
G. S.
Great sound quality picture and comfortable seating too !
j. b.
Nice clean no lights on during the film also very affordable
P. R.
Good cinema. Can get snacks but they are a little pricey. Comfortable seats with great screens and great sound
D. C.
It was a great expedience and the film wasn't bad either
R. V.
Super cool.
C. K.
Really nice cinema, friendly staff. Only down side Is snack and drinks really expensive.
k. c.
my experience is the very good, helpful staff, excellent doctors. It could be a better choice of (sun)glasses, but can't complain.
I will come back!
O. A.
Great place for families who love movies
M. A.
Great local cinema in stratford can be very busy sometimes
D.
Good service and the screen rooms are a good size and kept in a good condition
S. A.
It's the best cinema around. Nice seats and bigger screens, nice and pleasant to sit and watch your favourite movies. Rather bring your popcorn yourself from different shops as they sell popcorn which isn't fresh. And overly priced drinks and sweets. You are aloud to bring your own.
m. f.
A nice place with good movies, one of the bad parts is the publicity before the movie starts
D.
I love visiting the Vue....very spacious and clean.
s. i.
Absolutely love going to watch movies here. They have very large screens and they have very small screens. The nachos are absolutely amazing and the slush is very good too. The prices are £6.99 any time any day in the film very good price and also I enjoyed sitting on the VIP seats they are big and very comfortable
J. N.
Went to watch jurassic Park today as always wanted to see it in cinema. Had 3 ,12 year old kicking my chair, repeatedly. Warned loads.
Management should be watching kids coming in unattended but happy with how it was dealt with after. Didn't get to finish but won't go on weekends again.
Recommend adult only viewings on all films so we don't have to deal with disrespectful kids.
J. B.
Saw No Time To Die. Went to the extreme viewing very loud, but clean and staff good
S. A.
It's ok I guess... cheap and cheerful. Don't think I'll return anytime soon, think I'll stick to my usual cinema
A. A.
Nice clean tidy cinema....
Seats are comfortable with decent leg room compared to other cinemas.
If it’s a long film would recommend the upgrade to VIP.
Only downside is the food queue, takes forever, also the popcorn and nachos on last 2 visits have been stale..
Management please get the ice blast machine fixed, always not working!
Should offer a concession/loyalty card for the car park as it can become costly.
R. B.
Great cinema, friendly staff, clean facilities. Nice sound. It's a shame they made this VIP area -which were always regular seats- and they are now more expensive and usually empty. Expensive snacks.
B.
I've always gone here it a amazing place full of memories. Very loud movie and very comfortable seats
S. I.
Love that the tickets prices went down to 6.99 for everyone. I go more often now and never have had an awful experience due to the cinema.
Cons: The queues for food are crazy. Alot of the booking machines are not in a good condition so sometimes those queues are also crazy.
Pros: as long as I have been going (some 4 years) I've never had an issue with staff - all friendly and nice. The vue-extreme screens are great - really huge.
S. J.
Has great potential for improvement in terms of sitting. The sound quality is exemplary though.
The adds appears to be longer than the cinema in the beginning. They could be trimmed, otherwise the customers lose interest on the screen.
The lady behind the popcorn on the refreshments corner could learn to be more polite and less blunt.
t.
Really good viewing screen. The seats are very comfortable. The sound is immaculate. However the price on snacks are too expensive considering the price of a ticket. One of them definitely should be a little bit cheaper.
T. S.
Tickets were surprisingly reasonably priced. The seats were comfortable with ample leg room. I remained comfortable all 3 hours that I was there.
The only problem was the ticket collection machines weren't working so it was necessary queue with people buying food to get our tickets.
F. P.
One of my favourite Vue cinema in London because it’s very big and great scream with reasonable prices
E. A.
I have been to this cinema several times, had good experience. Nice stadium style auditorium. Bigger screen clean atmosphere and above all plenty of resturant and other food options available around if you plan to eat after finishing your movie. Or else pop corns and stuff is definitely available. Clean i loved it.
D. E. A. C.
Up to date films. Good screens. Have to book with some time though to get decent seats due to the covid regulations
I. 1.
Nice experience , amazing sound .for "No time to Die"
J. H.
Now that all standard tickets are one price, £6.99 (except Mondays when I think they are £5), going to the cinema has actually become affordable again. Don't get them online though, as this is much more expensive, just check seat availability and unless it's obvious that screenings are filling up, you should be ok to pitch up and buy from the machines at the bottom of the escalators of the cinema. Be aware though, that there are only two, not enough for busy times when there can be a substantial queue. The viewing experience is fine. It goes without saying, but I will, the cost of drinks and sweets etc is extortionate, so don't waste your money and health on those. I would like the cinema to stop bringing the lights up as soon as the credits start. Let people enjoy the whole experience of that's what they want; a few moments to return to reality can be needed after an emotionally engaging narrative.
E. C.
Expensive food and drink plus staff who rarely know what they are doing causing delays
M. B.
Great choice of movies, ticket prices very affordable at only £6.99, however where the cinema makes their money is the extortionate prices they charge for refreshments. I would suggest visiting the local supermarket and buying refreshments there. Not many people know this but you can actually take your own refreshments into the cinema.
According to Vue website: Food and drink from outside our venues is perfectly welcome with the exception of hot food or alcohol.
A. W.
Pretty standard for any kind of cinema. The machines at the entrance prove to be a bit confusing for most people, since there’s always a queue and families take ten minutes to get a few tickets. Some people even leave without getting their tickets out of frustration.
The few times I’ve gone I have also been waiting a long time for the snacks, the service proves to be a bit too slow. Snacks are pricey but that’s a staple on any cinema so I won’t hold that against them. I’m a fan of the £5 box deal, although I don’t understand why you have to pay an extra fee for Coke when you have to fill the drink yourself. I thought I would be able to refill it but turns out you can’t... doesn’t make much sense.
The place, including the bathrooms, is overall very clean. The prices of the tickets themselves are quite cheap too. Definitely check it out if you happen to be in the shopping centre and you’re in the mood for a movie.
S. A.
As usual the hotdogs were " ready I 15 mind" don't believe they actually do hotdogs as I've never been able to buy one
P. M.
Great place 👌
K. D.
The cinema is really nice. The sofas are comfy the sound and the quality is pretty amazing for a 7£ cinema. The only thing is do we really need exact 30 minutes of adverts? Not joking exactly 30 minutes of adverts before the film started. Crazy.
E. A. B.
Nice experience, we have watched a great movie. Seats are comfy, have enough space for long legs, huge screen. During our visit the men's toilet was closed, so everyone was queuing up to the disabled one - we almost missed the start. And sadly everywhere was soooo messy . Food, drinks are overpriced, staff is really slow.
J. C.
Comfortable seats, lots of leg room, good temperature. I did have flickering lights above me which were very distracting but obviously went off when the movie started. Easy to buy tickets and choose seats, could do with more ticket machines for busy periods, the queues were huge.
R. R.
Really good experience here, staff were accomodating and friendly. The cinema was clean, spacious and seats comfortable. I had some cheap tickets via an app too, which made the experience even better.
T. L.
Took grandsons there they really enjoyed it very clean and they handled social distancing very well their was a bit of a queue at the snacks counter but they soon got through it
Z. M.
Screen size is better then Showcase Newham. Seats are very comfortable. Enough leg room. Only problem is the handle rest bar on the chairs when we put our drink cups. There is not much space between seats and the right side seat user touches your drink with their elbows. We had 2 seats and noticed same between our seats too. Pop-corn was cold. Staff looked very tired and not very happy. Probably long hours and under paid. Otherwise I would have given a 5 star
A. T.
As the rating says, I think the cinema is ok.
It has small screens and few seats, out of which most are 'VIP', but it doesn't matter since the room is so small you can see very good from anywhere.
Cleaning is barely acceptable.
Seats are decent, not that comfortable.
C. L.
Decent now that the prices are lower for the film. Queues are long and slow for popcorn etc and the drinks dispensers often run out or are out of service. Seats are comfy, even the non VIP ones. Audience's often noisy and staff don't seem to do much, but the biggest annoyance are the awful ticket machines. Half often don't work, touch screens broken or card reader broken, one told me there were no seats left when a second machine let me book, sorry but this is one where having an actual person would help. Booking online and picking up tickets also hampered by poor machine reliability. This isn't a one off but based on several visits.
In summary, tickets cheap, seats comfy, everything else is annoying.
꧁.
Most of their screen is of a good size such as screen 6, 17 and 1, however I find screen 4 to be a bit small. Screen 4 also tends to have slight imperfections in the display, such as if you look carefully you can see that some light is scattered in an unusual manner. All other screens I've seen tend to be of good quality. Sound quality is great and has a descent base to it. The 3D is good but not perfect, but reasonable for the price.
S.
Great range of films and screens, the quality of the projection equipment is excellent and the size of the screens is large and of high quality, making the experience even more entertaining. Seating is comfortable and there are a range of food and drink options.
1917 is particularly enthralling on the big screen!
J. R.
Lovely place always clean and staff always friendly
V. K.
Really nice cinema and nice staff. Ques for the Ben and Jerry's ice cream can be very slow so it's advisable to either pre purchase your film tickets from downstairs or ensure you get in the que earlier than your film start time. Toilets and fairly kept clean by staff it's mess tends to be due to cinema goers. There has recently been a few issues on my last three visits with people sitting in the wrong seats which can cause some disruption during the movie but again this is down to the visitors rather than the cinema.
J. S.
Big cinema on the top floor of Westfield with many screens. I've been here a few times and can say the big screens i.e. first floor are what cinemas are meant to be, whereas the smaller screens on the upper floors are a bit squished - not a fan. You should be good if you are watching big names for movies, but any smaller reruns or less popular movies will likely be viewed in the smaller rooms
S. P.
Place is nice and clean, film tickets are reasonable. The major set back is that there is no price list in the snack area, so I had to ask about everything! It's all so over priced too.. £6.50 for popcorn! It that was also rubbish quality. At £4 a bag of chocolate, I'd stick a few packets in your pocket if I were you.
J. H.
Had a really good time thanks to Sky VIP TV
O. O.
Lovely cinema with very comfortable seats which give you plenty of leg room! The sound in the movie theatre was excellent and really immersed the watcher in the film. Finally the cost of the tickets was very affordable at £6.99, fantastic value!! I would highly recommend and shall be visiting this cinema again.
G. B.
Bought tickets online and paid the extra for VIP seats which I have to say was worth it, larger and more comfortable. My only criticism would be despite there being ticket machines downstairs they allow the purchase of tickets at the food concession which means a long wait if you only want some food and get caught behind a group of people all trying to decide what film they want to see. Also interesting to see that Westfield parking offer discounted parking during the week but nothing at the weekend.
C. F.
Excellent cinema showing all the latest features on it's many screens. There is a good food selection on offer and it is generally very clean. The staff are also always very friendly and helpful. It is conveniently located within the Stratford Westfield shopping centre.
y.
Seats were not very comfortable. VIP seats had nothing special features compared to normal ones. Could have brought normal seats instead. Should reach the theater atleast 30-45 minutes before the show begins if you like to grab some snacks because there will be long waiting queues at snacks section. Had to wait in the queue for almost 20 minutes to just get one water bottle. Overall experience was just ok.
A. M.
Watched the last Bond movie here, very nice place!
S. R.
Definitely my favourite cinema from the lot! It is big, has many screens and toilets kept clean too. The only reason why it gets a 4* is because it is a bit pricey. But the staff are always friendly, it’s in a great location and the place looks amazing too! Always a great experience when I visit!
A. A. K.
Best cinema in Stratford. Wonderful ambience and sound.
L. M.
Great venue, easy access and lots of sceeens, sound and picture quality amazing. Didnt have food or drink there this time but all looked covid aware friendy.
H. S. L.
Cinema itself and the screens are good. Lots of varied movies. However the escalators are ALWAYS broken! Out of 5 times I've been it was stopped 3 times. Plus the self-service ticket machines were unusable a lot too, one time I visited they were ALL out of order.
V.
I am a frequent visitor. And I simply love it! Adult/Student tickets cost only £6.99 per movie (2D only). Every Monday the price is even lower: £4.99 per movie. The cinema often organises classic movies evenings/nights, so you have a chance to watch your favourite ones on a big screen.
F. G.
Decent cinema, quick ticket collection. Popcorn wasn't cooked fresh from what I seen (brought out in a plastic bag pre popped) and arguably smaller popcorn sizes to other cinema chains. Vip seating is purely for the best viewing angles however the layout on the website for purchasing the seats did not correlate to the actual layout of the screen.
A. Y.
It's a nice cinema, good atmosphere. Had a fun time with the family. I would of given 5 stars, but the waiting time for refreshments was ridiculous 20-25 mins.
I will be going back, but will give extra time to buy popcorn.
o. p.
Great atmosphere. Kids love it here as restaurants are just the next level down. Self service points - book your own movie times. Staff present though if you want the human touch.
Q. B.
It was a great experience.however I doubt from one star because I wished they had butter to put on their popcorn with salt that's and then they have in America that they should implement here in the UK in this later. The quality of the sea just great booking tickets was easy and there were plenty of theatres so they were not crowded at all. I plan to return on my next trip to the UK.
F. V.
Very good audio and image quality in all screens. Affordable tickets too!
M.
Apart from the auditorium being cold. The experience was good.
S. S.
Really good cinema experience here. Sound is amazing. Love the reduced price Monday tickets but so does everyone else, so book ahead to a avoid dissapointment. Toilets are just Okay some doors need replacing.
There needs to be a concession on the carpark for those with tickets.....until then its 4/5.
O. P.
Big screens with regular showings. Actually worth going now they have slashed their ticket price. Downsides - having to pay for snacks ects at the same line you buy your ticket is annoying. As you would expect rip off prices for popcorn.
Z. T.
Great quality of the screen and sound BUT the popcorn ( not salty enough and have a plane taste) and nacho ( thin tortilla and a cheese sauce is half cold and for a large portion is quite small) quality not the best. One ticket only 8£ which is great. Large popcorn drink combo 8£. Nacho drink combo the same. Unfortunately the drinks are not refillable!
s. s.
Excellent theater very rich view
A. T. C.
Movies cost 7 pounds, seats are comfortable.
E. C. E. 1.
Service on the counter need to be bit better
G. W.
Generally a good cinema. Was very busy and the queue to fill up drinks was very long. There was a spillage on the floor leading up to the screens which staff members seem to just walk right past it without cleaning it up or placing a wet floor sign on. Also in the screening group of loud teenage girls came in had no where to sit so decided to sit on the stairs and make a lot of noise throughout the film.
M. I.
Vue cinema Westfield Stratford is a great place to bring your loved one and family so you can watch your best movie on a large screen
A. H.
Their service was really amazing and the quality of it too. it was worth the money from the seats to the cinematic experience, everything was good.
T. L.
Excellent, great cinema , brilliant film. ' Respect'
P. J.
Amazing Theatre experience. Watched Simba here and the sound was just amazing. You better get a seat somewhere back otherwise you might feel sound is bit loud. The service here is amazing you can book tickets and snacks online or via kiosks or through the desk at the theatre. It has around 11 screens so multiple movies are available here that one can choose from. If you're an Indian you'll always find the recently released movies here.
S.
Amazing price for the ticket compared to other cinemas. Annoying that there are no prices visible for popcorn and drinks other than the combo deals. If I'm spending £15 on a drink and a popcorn I want to know I'm being ripped off before I get to the cashier.
H. A.
Cinema is very open and lobby area and the screens and seats are also good spaced out. They have arrange of screen sizes and the small screen with around row up to L is still good! The service is very fast but also they have the self checkout service or book online and collect the tickets and ready to go. The adverts/ trailers is about 10-15 mins long which is good so gives that extra time.
The staff are also very nice and pleasant with a good service. Can be busy in the foyer as they serve tickets but food and drinks also. Plus as you are the Westfield shopping centre best to book online or in the foyer with plenty of time, do some shopping and then come back. Car park in Westfield is large too and easy parking with good costs and not too expensive.
B.
The brightness is very loww even in the front you can barely see anything. Please fix that.
s. r.
The manger ahmad is so lovely always looking out for customers love going there just for his customer service
F. R.
You'll find cheap tickets on the day almost all the time. Big cinema with a lot of screens and the best thing is they allow cold outside foods inside. No annoying bag checks like other cinemas!
M. W.
A good cinema that has plenty on offer to watch. The worst part about this place is the expense food court offering hotdogs, popcorn, drinks and other snack food at a cost or around £5 each item which is fine if your not on a budget but expensive if you are not. I would recommend that you take a small bag and bring my own snacks, that way you can take the snacks you want and get to your seat quicker and settle in ready for the movie.
A. A.
Seats not comfortable, despite being a new-ish cinema
P. T.
I visited for first time at VUE inside stratford mall to watch a movie "Love Aaj Kal 2" with my family to spend valentine evening.
Nice place to visit as we had a late evening show but we reached at stratford mall by noon time did some shopping with family had food with our choices as there were lot of food option in the mall, so shopping, eating by your choice restaurant and then spend evening time in moview its a perfect blend of all the combination to save and spend time.
A prefect location for full entertainment under one roof my family feels excited and happy to spend a day like this too again in future.
The staff was nice and friendly while entering the ticket checker has given us the way direction which makes us easy and comfort way to the screen 10 as we approached our row it was very clean and tidy which I noticed at the first glance and this is again an addition to end our day perfectly ending.
We found our seats easily as there is no requirement for the staff member with all comfort and the nitty-gritty things you required at first glance.
Ac temperature and sound quality are up-to the mark we loved to go again and wants to fully utilize our day with perfect ending in cinema.
I would recommned this place and like to the management for the perfection.
S. G.
Westfield parking is not great but cinema is decent
H. J.
The vue extreme was clean with great dolby sound. I would try not to go to a movie in its first week showing on a Tuesday or Wednesday as it was pretty busy. The movie was PG rated and younger clients a little disturbing. The hall was warm not comfortable so if AC is avaiable on one of the hottest days of the year it really should be on. I paid the extra on line so missed any queues just had my ticket scanned on my phone.
Z. Y.
Even though this can be quite a busy place, there are plenty of screens and close to having films playing every 30 minutes.
With this being based in a Westfield as well, there is plenty to do in-between film times.
The screens are pretty good and kept fairly tidy as well. Staff are approachable but can be swamped with customers at peak times.
A good place to catch a film.
A. l.
Loved the visual and sound quality 😍
J. C.
Helpful service is better than anything!
J. Y.
Very clean and well looked after cinema.
S. S.
I bought 2 premium tickets to see Joker.
For food I bought 2 mixed slushes, 1 large popcorn, 1 hotdog, 2 snacks (part of meal deal)
Total price for a night out to the cinema: £50
Cinemas are struggling for cash and more are being closed than open. I try and support the industry as it supports so many young workers. But I just can’t afford to do this in future.
I liked the fact that the staff were keen, young and efficient. The cinema was clean and tidy and apart from the usual musical chairs in cinemas. It was pretty ok.
This is Stratford for expect a few youths making noises spoiling the experience. Not a great place for cinema. I advise you go to a more remote place as it’s less congested.
N. K.
OK cinema but snacks are way too expensive paid £12 for a drink and a large popcorn (that wasn't very large) u best off bringing your own snacks just don't bring hot drinks
N. J.
I would say it deserves only 3 stars. Let's see what I can say about the venue...The overall image of it is brilliant; the ticket machines are quite efficient; seats are very comfy and spacious, the room we were in was rather on the smaller side, which I liked...but! when we left after the movie, we got kind of lost in the back floor of the rooms; we got to the fire exit and had a lovely view from the escape route, but I would have rather missed this view. Because of lack of proper signage, I am not able to rate it higher.
B. O. G.
Not too bad. I wish they'd turn the audio down a bit, well be ready in a few years. The food is overpriced as usual lol. So the your own. The seats were clean. I saw John WiFi 3 there, the graphics were decent, screen want the biggest one on offer so can't comment on that. Just watch your step when you go in, it's pitch black at the entrance. I wish you the best viewing experience. PS: they show 20minutes worth of adverts from your booking time, the timing could vary so be careful how you go about skipping it xD
A. T. V.
Busy and crowded place but nice place in East London.
A. B.
Overall the best cinema I’ve been to. The seats are almost always clean and comfortable. The aisles are clean. The screens and sound are incredible.
Just one time, 2 years ago, screen 18, the seats were filthy. Had to lay a napkin down to sit.
But this is my most visited cinema, I go there every few weeks for a movie and haven’t had a problem with the place once (except for that one time^^).
I don’t usually buy any snacks or popcorn from there (overpriced, but that’s usual for cinemas), although I do sometimes give in and get the nachos and the Tango blast. Those two are definitely worth buying imo. They have a Ben & Jerry’s bar, looks nice but I’m not a fan of eating ice cream in the dark so have never tried it.
It’s very modern looking and they have very big screens. The tickets may be expensive, but you get what you pay for.
I’d rather visit Vue and get a clean, tidy, and comfortable experience than somewhere else and take my chances with them.
I’ve visited Odeon, Cineworld etc but honestly liked my experiences at Vue more.
D. F.
Amazing venue. I was late and the manager just changed my ticket to a later show at no extra cost.
I. P.
We has many places around us it was very confident. For small kids it is comfortable because there is no high sound. We enjoyed our time with pleasure 😊
m. h.
Tickets are a lot cheaper than other cjnema chains
A. B.
Cinemas are nice, good screens and sound, but the snack bar needs improvement! Every time I've been there have been queues of people moving VERY slowly and a small number of till points operational, very overpriced and popcorn is not fresh.
S. H.
What can I say other than its a cinema! It's clean as expected and the theatre itself is great. Only fault I can say is probably the staff. Sometimes it is understaffed and they're a bit slow in doing things. Would be nice if service and efficiency was improved. But overall. It's good 😂
g. d.
Nice venue, except to the escalator which are always out of order for the last year, each visit the escalator (doing down)never worked.
E. M.
Lovely, comfortable, great sound, some don't even smile at all while others are ok. Prices very high, often confusing. Still go there.
I went many times. Again few days ago to SPIES IN DISGUISE.... had problems with my Wowcher vouchers and staff were amazing to help. Another great day there.
M. O.
I like the super large screens here. The audio is just superb, as if you were in a studio. Of course the location is beautiful for a whole day out, where you can "shop till you drop", dine and watch movies. There is massive counter so you get attended to quick.
A. L.
Nice cinema! Here you can find a good selection of movies for both children and adults.
The only unpleasant thing is the long time waiting at the tills, I think the staff can try to work a bit faster...however I will definitely go back.
S. S.
Supremely comfortable seats and loads of leg room (I'm 6'4"), and that was just in the standard section. Amazing visuals but the sound was absolutely something else, the Dolby system they have is more immersive than some IMAX experiences I've had, not the mention the fact it's literally half the price of other cinemas
P. T.
Convenient as it's in a huge shopping centre, so plenty of places to eat. Easy to buy tickets at the automatic machines, but if you want refreshments there are long queues. They only sell the usual cinema junk anyway, so it's best to have a meal first in Westfield Mall. A huge range of films shown, I always get VIP seats for the extra legroom, but none of the seats are poor. Good sound quality, if a little loud. Special broadcasts, such as National Theatre live shows and other events are held.
M. H.
Big, bold and full of screens.
Plenty of choice of films.
Plenty of choice for snacks - (way too expensive, but all cinemas flog stuff that is 40 times more expensive than anywhere else)
Plenty of choice for screen times (they start early and stay open late)
They have bigger, plusher seats as an option in each screen
Easiest way to book is on line and collect, but plenty of places to buy when you get there.
Go along and see how it is for you!
O. L.
We went on a Monday and I wanted to get the discount tickets but couldn’t do that using the machines so we were forced to queue at the popcorn tills. This took ages and ages. There were long queues on all the open tills and everyone was complaining about how long it took to get served. The cinema itself was fine, a big screen and decent sound.
A. M.
It was OK service needs help and the cleaning wasn't on point
U. A.
Great place for a movie, good lay-out plus keeping with the current economic position with social distancing guidelines and antiseptic gels available through out the cinema. Quite impressed
A. K.
Noticed recently that the price of cinema tickets have reduced hugely and is much more reasonable! Quite pleased with this, especially given this cinema's prominent location within Westfield. Facilities are all generally good, but not enough staff available serving the overpriced snacks, so you'll have to wait in long queues.
D. A. R.
located on the top floor above the food court. very convenient, easy to navigate, not crowded like some other cinemas. screen size is quite big. one of my favourite cinemas to go to
M. M.
Excellent, modern facilities and screens. Good range of showings available. They have useful Mini Morning showings for kids at the weekend where tickets are £2.50 each. Food is perhaps unsurprisingly too expensive however.
H. S.
Good movie, a little uncomfortable leather chairs even tough we purchased in the VIP section. Very good view the previous row does not disturb at all. The wide screen and the sound system is amazing.
M.
Self fill drink machine is a bad idea... but overall cinema was fine.
The price of ticket is cheap compared to others, but trick is that they OVERCHARGE on refreshments popcorn, nachos, drinks etc.
M. A.
Was impressed by the layout, friendly staff and the place in general. (Well designed and clean toilets) Excellent entry price only £6.99., however, how can they justify selling a bag of sweets for £3.99 and a bottle of water for £2.79! Outrageous.
A. A.
They have great screens and comfortable seats. The cinema is in a very good locality, easy to get to with the local transport and has car park available. The only thing they need to improve on is there Nachos they are rubbish.

I went for Star Wars, it was nice but first of all, when we ordered nachos they had hard time to prepare them fast and secondly the sound effects of the movie were so loud, which was actually annoying at some point.. I understand it's an action movie, but woah, that was too much with the loud sound

Easy to use self service ticket machines. Group of 6 of us, arrived 15 minutes early but got to the seats 25 minutes late, because food/drink counters were understaffed and icecream scoop guy was tired out and super slow and had no help.

love the price change and love the AC. Food lines take forever they are so purposefully slow but that's all cinemas and I'll never get why?? The staff failed to tell us that the main tango ice blast flavours weren't available and just gave us whatever they had and didnt tell us so that was sad.

The Vue is very good. You can watch any number of films whilst eating popcorn and drinking on a mixed flavoured slush. Everything is prompt, and you can buy your tickets from a machine or go up to the customer service desk, which is basically where they sell all the snacks and beverages to purchase your film ticket.

When to the Vue after work with my partner!! What fun we had!! I had always through I needed to book a ticket online before I could visit the view, simply because that's how I've always done it but we were able to purchase a ticket quick and easy before queuing for food. The only down side is that the drinks machine is not for refills once you've made your purchase and gone into the screen room.
Still had fun nonetheless.

Nice place but always crowded!

Solid cinema - very quiet off peak, usually only half a dozen people watching the latest and greatest.
Really should bring their snack prices down below obscene!

Good cinema ,lot of screens.

Pleased with the ticket prices, snack selection is a bit of a let down (I ordered the snack box that includes a drink, popcorn and a bar of chocolate of your choice). I asked whether I could select water and I was given the tiniest bottle of water that finishes after a sip.
Another problem I encountered is the very slow line due to there only being 1 or 2 cashiers available.
This may be due to the late hours I went but it's still quite unacceptable considering the high prices of snacks you pay with every visit (which is much higher than the ticket price).

Great cinema with all the latest films, in an easy-to-reach location and good facilities and shops around. Some of the theatres are quite small, but if you're watching the new releases or any other popular films they usually use the larger ones which are much better. However, I've found this Vue to be quite a bit more expensive than the other ones in the chain (such as the Vue in Angel Islington, where films cost around the £7 mark) whereas here at Westfield they average around £15. Nevertheless, this is worth the price taking into consideration the nicer environment and its location. All in all, would recommend.

A reasonably priced cinema for London. Decent sized screens, comfortable VIP seating for very little extra money.
Sound is good and you can here everything.
Not too many trailers or adverts.

Good cinema. Nice service

When I went to see Star Wars last year, it was full of preteens making jokes loudly during the movie, throwing popcorn and giggling constantly. Being a true Star Wars fan, who had been waiting to see the movie for a long time, I was displeased with the company. The staff are great though, especially at the ticket booth.

my church (Crossway Stratford) had 2 Sunday morning meetings at the Vue cinema, last Sunday and the Sunday prior, and it was a great experience, after not being able to meet since March (seems like aaaages ago!)
it was a lovely experience both Sundays with the cinema staff being really nice and helpful, and the cinema itself really clean and safe with sanitiser stations located all about...
unfortunately, with the new lockdown coming this week, we won't be able to meet there until December, but it was great to have had these 2 Sundays together as a church community and it was wonderful to be able to worship the Lord Jesus Christ as a body...

Nice big screens but they don't have the Recliners which are lush.

Plenty of screens, lots of movies, good sound and comfortable seats too

11am screening, so quite tidy, and a guy with a broom ready to sweep up as film ended. Tick. Arm rests between expensive chairs broken, not only mine - noticed others as well. At £30 for three of us on a Sunday morning, the place should be better looked after, higher standard required. Escalators not working either, so disabled patrons would have difficulty getting in. Three stars from me was generous.

My cinema of choice. It has a lot of screens and very good quality seats. The queue to buy food is the same queue to buy tickets so that can slow you down if you just want to buy your tickets and not get some food or drink. It has a large waiting area and Ben and Jerry's ice cream too.

Very nice cinema I love it

OMG , so good sounds quality , so comfortable chairs , oh , you can feel the movie at 100% 😁 ... Depends which movie hahaha ... Love to spend a few hours from my weekend there ❤️

Good cinema with decent prices but the ticket-buying machines outside were very laggy; it took us a few attempts to buy tickets.
Special Note: our student price tickets costed the same as normal and consessionary tickets.
F. A.
A little tired: Most of the self ticketing machines had crashed and the cinema hall was not sufficiently cleaned ("Dad, there's chicken on my seat" was heard from a family trying to sit in the row behind us); and poor observance of not using phones and phone flashlights once the lights went down. Sound quality was good - a must for the SFX in Spiderman.

Nice relatively new cinema. Screens are a bit on the small side. The worst thing is that the parking costs an absolute fortune!!! Easy access from public transport though (although we have the worst public transport in the western world).
N. A.
Clean as its not that busy have to sit in assigned seats to keep safe distance from others which is good... glad cinemas are still open :)

Awesome cinema experience. Great sounds and comfortable seats. Friendly albeit slow staff at the snack booth. I had a great time

Went for the first time to watch the new movie Tomb Raiden.
First of all why are tickets more expensive when you buy them online ? Usually buying in advance online is cheaper.
The cinema itself was okay. Staff was friendly but the screen room was freezing cold. Like why would I want to sit in a chair watch a movie for 2 hours in my warm jacket ?
If you prefer to sit comfortably pick a different cinema I would say..

I'm not local to Stratford I actually live down in Bishops Stortford Hertfordshire. The cinema is lovely. The screens are comfortable and there are many of them. I first came 2 years ago when I discovered they were showing War For the Planet of the Apes as my local cinema stopped showing it. The option to customize your own drinks is a nice addition which I think my local cinema should add. The staff are friendly people occasionally the odd one will decide they are not serving the customers on the tills and leave one person. So please work on your teamwork skills there. I also don't really think the Xtreme showings are worth it. It's not IMAX level it just feels like a bigger screen but the film still plays in standard quality. The food is also great love their popcorn and hotdogs. The nachos I'm not keen on I don't like the cheese but if I have just the salsa they are good. I find the £6.99 offer amazing as prices at every other cinema are getting very expensive, so that's another incentive that's pulled me back into this cinema despite the train fares. I have started to come more frequently than I thought though of course I can't afford it all the time but it's worth it when I do because the films I love don't show for long at my local so I can jump on the train and come down to Westfield. The design of the cinema is nice too. The foyer is huge and open. Overall it is a lovely cinema even though its a bit of a train journey from me but its worth it as I also get to explore Westfield. Great cinema other than some little nitpicks. And good on you for getting a customer from far out to come to your cinema. I shall return as often as I can. :)

Like all vie cinemas the prices here have come way down in recent months, which makes it actually fun and affordable to see a film. A few of the screen in this venue are getting a little tatty, with broken lights and fans but generally you'll have a good time.
T. I.
One of the best cinema in the area. However, not all screens are very big. for example Screen 19 is extremely small (57 seats). Popcorn/Drinks are standard prices. Overall would recommend.
H. S.
Lovely cinema. Lovely staff. Massive queues so not fun waiting.
A. S.
Very nice Cinemas! The price might be a bit more then other cinemas..but the cinema halls are very well sound equipped and the seats are comfortable and you have space for your legs!
C. M.
Great price! Can't believe it's only £6.99 any day of the week to see a movie! Would have given it five stars but deducted one as the escalators are often out of action.
