Balraj is the only osteopath and physical therapist I will go see in London. Having gone through medical training myself, it is exceptionally rare to find a highly competent and skilled professional who has a great bedside manner and is very evidence-based in his approach to care. Balraj is the best osteopath I came across in London (and I did a lot of research and visited quite a few). He really cares and he helped me a lot (I was suffering from lower back pain that was waking me up in my sleep, after one treatment with Balraj the pain vanished almost completely, to my total amazement). He also gave me good explanation of my condition and advice how to behave going forward. What I particularly liked was that he (unlike 90% of other physiotherapists and osteopaths) did not try to sell me further appointments. He just said that I should see how I feel and decide if there is a need to see him again. I will make sure that all my friends learn about him.

Balraj was excellent from the initial assessment to the rehab sessions. He listened and understood my pain symptoms and was fantastic in diagnosing my injury as well as using treatments to relieve pain in my first session. The follow up session was already prepared. He not only informed me the extent of my injury but the biomechanics and physiology behind the injury. The rehab sessions was organised strictly focusing on strengthening my tendons and muscles around the knee joint to gradually improve range of motion. I've been to a few physios before and Balraj's professional approach was fantastic! He's given me exercises specific to my injury as well as my sport before I go back to see him in a couple of weeks. Highly recommended! Get hold of him ASAP.

Highly recommend W12 Health Centre. I’ve been to a lot of clinics over the years and Balraj is one the best practitioners I’ve had. Simply the best if you get sporting injuries. Saw the amazing reviews on Google and had already spoken to Balraj about coming to see him. Came with a back spasm. He then diagnosed the problem in minutes, treated me with a blend of techniques onsite and gave me the exercises to remedy and prevent this moving forward. I then came back with pain the back of my knee soon after. Balraj diagnosed this as a hamstring tendon problem, which he again remedied with specific hamstring strengthening exercises (he also has a gym onsite for demonstrations) that have prevented the return of the injury. Cannot recommend enough. My mother is now a happy client too!

Balraj has been absolutely amazing in his treatment for my previously misdiagnosed condition by a previous osteopath. After an initial consultation, within barely ten minutes during my first appointment he was able to identify an anatomical condition I have which had been causing me so much pain when running; so much so that I almost gave up on my dream of running the London Marathon this year. After correct diagnosis, some electroacupuncture and informing me of how to treat my problem, I went away and undertook two weeks worth of home physio. Following this I went back for a second treatment and found that my situation had already improved and my exercises were modified accordingly, which now means that not only has my pain almost diminished entirely but I am able to run the marathon in 3 months! Balraj is really friendly, personable and incredibly knowledgeable in his field and honestly I don't think I've ever had so much faith in any other healthcare practitioner as much as him. He really cares about his patients and doesn't rush you out the door after your allotted appointment time. He is also happy to receive texts and calls between/after sessions should you need any further advice. Highly recommend to anyone.

I would recommend Balraj in a heartbeat!! Great extensive knowledge of his profession and great advice given on a L5 lower back issue and stiff neck. I have seen amazing improvement from my first session with Balraj for my lower back that was previously stiff and limited in motion. I went to West 12 Health Centre with a diagnosed slipped disc and a history of back pain as I was looking for a holistic approach to treatment. Balraj first gave me a great overview of what, how, why and where, following with a series of manipulation, electro-acupuncture and great advice. I now feel great, am more confident about moving. He gave me a much better understanding of the pain, what caused it, how to deal with it on my own and how to reduce the risk of it happening again.. I had a great experience at West 12 Health Centre. After hurting my lower back whilst packing to move (stellar timing), I called Balraj who was very kind on the phone and arranged an appointment for the very next day. The clinic has a very calm vibe and Balraj is lovely, very down to earth and clearly knows his stuff. It was my first time at an osteopath and I was quite nervous, but Balraj put me at ease immediately. The treatments weren’t scary at all as Balraj explained what he was doing throughout. I left armed with good advice and some exercises to do, and even some advice on a totally unrelated problem with my knee that came up in conversation! I visited Balraj about chronic pain in both my knees. I had previously visited a number of physios who hadn't been able to help me reduce the pain or enable me to start running again. I am moderately fit 29yr old and was flummoxed to what was causing my discomfort. After having one session with Balraj he was able to provide me with a correct diagnosis as to what was causing the knee pain and how to avoid the pain developing in the first place. Balraj is a first-rate osteopath. I’ve had various osteo, physio & chiro treatment since I was little, for an inherited arthritic condition. I’d been having problems with my neck & shoulder for over a year when I first saw Balraj. Having seen various other practitioners, I’d almost given up hope. I was visiting London from the States and turned over in the night and ended up with a very painful back for the next few days. I found Balraj via the reviews here on Google, and I'm happy to report they were accurate regarding his knowledge, advice, helpfulness, and professionalism. I chatted with him personally online via his website chat program about my issue and scheduled an appointment with him. When I visited, he promptly saw me, jotted a few details down, and discussed the issue in depth. After a quick analysis, he found it was a simple muscle spasm and knot which he worked out with some deep tissue work and a few small chiropractic adjustments. He told me exactly how I'd feel that evening and the next day, and within a couple days my issue was resolved. I highly recommend Balraj for sports injuries, muscle or chiropractic. And being from the U.S., I wasn't sure what to expect, but was very happy with everything. Obviously 5 stars and a great review was warranted.

Spending 70% of the time travelling for work, sitting on airplanes and sitting at the computer, when my neck and back goes out it can be very painful and debilitating. West 12 Health Centre is the first place and its no-nonsense-yet-caring owner's approach is not to keep you coming back over and over again but to fix the problem. Fix it he did.
