I first went to Baks 2 years ago after years of back pain following a car accident which had been worsened by a frozen shoulder. Phil was magnificent at isolating how my spine needed fixing and brought me so much relief from pain I thought would never disappear. Highly recommended!

i finally booked a visit as i had been in pain for 7 days and was self medicating a lower back spasm with codeine (wasn't doing much)... i was asked a number of questions by Phil about how it happened and what type of pain i was experiencing etc and then had a full diagnosis with a solution afterwards! my back made some noises i never knew it could however the issue was instantly fixed and i can now get back to the gym and getting in and out of my car without whimpering... all in all a great experience, would highly recommend. Both Phil & Svetlana are at the top of their profession . I have been treated by Phil on several occasions due to an old rugby injury ( lower back ) , with excellent results. Svetlana suggested I try accupuncture for pain caused by significant osteoarthritis in my left shoulder I was a bit sceptical about its use but went ahead . Within one week of treatment I was able to stop taking the painkillers which my doctor had prescribed . I had this treatment for about 10 months before my shoulder was operated on . I can thoroughly recommend any treatments given by Phil or Svetlana

WORD OF THANKS TO BAKS CLINICS ELEVEN YEARS AGO I WAS EXPERIENCING A LOT OF BACK PAIN AND AFTER A SHORT TALK WITH MY DOCTOR AT THE TIME WAS TOLD TO TAKE THINGS EASY FOR A WHILE. NOT BEING HAPPY WITH HIS ADVICE I DECIDED TO VISIT PHIL WISE AT BAKS OSTEOPATHY TO SEE IF HE COULD FIND THE ROUTE PROBLEM FOR MY PAIN. PHIL LOOKED AT MY SPINE AND TO MY SURPRISE IMMEDIATLEY PRESSED HIS FINGER TO EXACTLEY WHERE THE PROBLEM WAS. HE EXPLAINED TO ME THAT THREE OF MY VERTIBRAY WERE LOCKED TOGETHER AND IF HE COULD MANIPULATE MY JOINTS PROBLEM HE SHOULD BE ABLE TO RE-ALIGN MY SPINE RELIEVING THE PAIN. AFTER A FEW SESSIONS I WAS AT LAST PAIN FREE AND ABLE TO CARRY ON MY LIFE TO ITS FULL WITH NO FURTHER RECURRANCE OF THE PROBLEM. SOME YEARS LATER I TRIPPED OVER A PAVING SLAB AND BEING A MAN DECIDED NOT TO GO AND SEE MY DOCTOR AND JUST PUT UP WITH THE OCCASIONAL BOUTS OF PAIN UNTIL THIS YEAR WHEN I SUDDENLY SUFFERED CONTINUIOUS PINS AND NEEDLES DOWN THE WHOLE OF MY RIGHT ARM. A TRIP TO MY DOCTOR AND AN XRAY AT THE HOSPITAL SHOWED NO REAL MAJOR DAMAGE. ONCE AGAIN I CONTACTED BAKS CLINIC AND PHIL MENTIONED THAT HIS WIFE SVETLANA WAS A TRAINED ACUPUNCTURIST AND MAYBE A FEW TREATMENT SESSIONS WITH HER MAY HELP. AFTER A VERY SHORT NUMBER OF ONCE A MONTH SESSIONS WITH SVETLANA MY PINS AND NEEDLES HAS NOW COMPLETELY GONE.
