I contacted Gentleman Heating through their website. I promptly received a call back, and Stephen was very professional and courteous. During his visit he was very detailed in his investigation, and then helped us through sourcing repair parts in a cost efficient way and organising the replacement work on very short notice. I wholeheartedly recommend Stephen and Gentleman Heating, as I've had an absolutely perfect experience, and he will be my go-to going forward for any boiler and heating issues or services.

I have had Gentleman Plumbers call twice in recent months, once to service my boiler and another time for a serious leak. Not only did Steve service the boiler, he explained everything clearly, he checked the gas meter to make sure there were no leaks and made sure I knew where to turn off the gas in an emergency, he also got me to check where the main water supply could be turned off and that the tap would turn ok. This was very useful after I found water pouring out from somewhere inside the boiler, hence the second visit. Steve and Daniel visited on this occasion, they rang to say they’d be a bit later than stated, they explained what the problem was, again they were both very friendly and polite, they were also very well dressed. I have and will continue to recommend them wholeheartedly.

These guys came out to me last night (via a filter system). When they arrived, they were quick to diagnose the problem and then dealt with it in a quick and efficient manner. They were friendly and polite and I was very happy with the work carried out. If you need anything, whether it be an emergency call out (which they do literally 24/7) or an installation, I would have no problem in recommending them. I have been looking for a new plumber recently for other jobs and these guys are going to be it - sorry Steve and Daniel!

A creeping water stain on the kitchen ceiling necessitated a 24/7 emergency call to Stephen of the Gentleman Heating company. He arrived promptly in the late evening and quickly diagnosed a leaking hot water cylinder. Temporary measures were put in place to alleviate the problem. All through the Festive Season, when plumbers’ merchants were closed, Stephen kept in touch with reassuring assistance until a new cylinder could be purchased and installed. The service and after-care communication was exemplary and we would recommend Stephen and the Gentleman Heating company to anyone in plumbing distress. C

Steve turned up promptly first thing in the morning to start work on refitting the bath and replacing the heating element in the boiler, explained exactly what he needed to and was equipped with all the tools and parts needed for the job! He was there most of the day and always polite and kept things tidy including disposing of all the rubbish at the end of the day! Would definitely use again and definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a plumber!

We had a crisis of water flooding through the house from the water tank in the loft, made worse by a national emergency plumbing outfit that told us they had booked a plumber and then 2 hours later that they had not! Called Gentleman Heating at 2.30pm who said they were on another job 45 mins away, but they could get to us by 5. They turned up 30 minutes early and fixed the problem quickly, politely and with no fuss.

The team were great when we had a leaking water tank the day before we were going on holiday. we needed a new tank but at 7pm at night hard to get one! system drained down and plans put in place for a new tank as soon as we came home. Love a tradesman who turns up with a hoover in hand!
