Carl and the team at Plumbing and Gas Solutions Ltd helped me out in my hour of need, when nobody else could get to me for days!! Fitted me into their busy schedule only hours after my initial contact. The engineer kept me updated with the progress enroute to me, arrived earlier than the arranged time and sorted my drainage issue in no time at all! They were very polite, courteous and clean in their execution of the job. Will not hesitate to use them again if I have any drainage issues and will certainly recommend to friends and family as well as being my first port of call if needed for use at my office!

Plumbing & Gas recently replaced all the radiators in my house. They helped me with choosing the appropriate radiator models and then ordered and installed all the new radiators, making necessary adjustments to the infrastructure where required. They also managed the return and replacement of a larger radiator which had been damaged in transit while keeping me informed. Special mention must go to Joe who was excellent at both communicating decisions in plain English for me and coordinating any necessary extra work. I will certainly be using P&G again.

Took a chance and went with Plumbing & Gas Solutions because of the positive reviews on here and on Facebook and never regretted it. Had the old system taken out and replaced with a new combi boiler and the quality of the workmanship was fantastic. The two guys that carried out the installation were a credit to the firm, they were very polite always on time and hardly left a mess making sure they cleaned up thoroughly before leaving each evening. I would not hesitate to use P&G again and have recommend them to friends and family.

I needed an emergency plumber at extremely short notice. The on call engineer was able to come out to my home immediately and help stop a couple of our radiators leaking. I was very impressed with what I would describe as a non typical experience of a plumbing company. The young men who attended to fix my heating and hot water supply were very polite and knowledgable, even explaining the concept of anodic corrosion that had likely contributed to the issue with my system. Aga Rayburn removed, which was a cooker/Boiler. New Boiler installed and gas and pipe connection from fuse box to kitchen installed for new stove, tiling behind new stove completed. Two days of hard work from six/seven guys. Worked extremely hard, were exceedingly tidy and cleared up after themselves. Polite and very efficient. Would not hesitate in recommending this company. From start to finish - very professional and the good thing was that they all connected with each other so things were sorted out all at the same time.

I had seen Plumbing & Gas Solutions (PGS) advertised in the paper many times. When I purchased a new property I decided to give them a call to carry out a service/repair on the boiler. They found the boiler was beyond economical repair and at that point I feared a replacement would cost me a fortune. PGS explained the options to me and I was surprised at the cost including VAT and fitting. I normally don't do reviews but I am doing so because the service I received was fantastic, their engineers just got on with it while both my wife and I were at work so I didn't need to take a day off. What impressed me the most was the attitude of one of their engineers (I wont name names) who was so positive and just did not give up when it came to a problem or a hurdle; he could have easily just packed his bag and said "sorry but we will be back tomorrow" but continued to work past 20:00 putting in nearly a 12 hour shift. In summary what I found with PGS was that they are like a close knit family and this is reflected in the way they work and deal with customers. You don'y feel like you have to haggle with the price or their service as they provided what i would consider extra service or work at no additional cost. I will now be asking them to quote and hopefully carry out similar work at my current house. Thanks

I previously wrote a review on this company as the first time I called, the telephone was put down on me when I asked the operator to repeat my number back to me. She did call me back that day to state that she got cut off, apologised and booked me in for an appointment and called me several times afterwards in terms of my previous review. I have to say that the plumber himself was very pleasant and did what he could given that my toilet cistern is a wierd one. As I paid for a next day delivery for the part to arrive and given that he was engaged with another job, the work that needed to be done at mine was on hold so I called to get a status on my job as I was not informed of this, the office Manager asked to speak with me and out of courtesy offered to refund me the delivery charge which I appreciated. When I called to settle my bill, another telephonist took the payment; however I have to say that I wasn't best pleased when she instructed to 'take down my google review ASAP'. Again, you can imagine my reaction..I stated that my first review reflected how the service I received the first time was of which I relayed to the office Manager when I spoke with him. I really think they should address this with the office staff in terms of how they come across to customers over the phone...making demands and dictating how customers should or shouldn't write reviews isn't the image they want to be portraying to customers. Apart from this last encounter; I have to add that the plumber and Manager were pleasant and in terms of how the Manager dealt with the issue I put forward was very professional. The first office staff although we started off in the wrong foot did apologise and was courteous with all the other calls I had with her.

I Phoned them up at 11.40 they answered the phone nice and kind, they was at my house by 12 and boiler had a blockage in it which was cleared and cleaned plus they checked the make sure of leaks within the hr. Very professional and very reliable will be my first choice if I have any gas problems.
