Reviews of The Tree Cathedral
C. C.
We visited this Tree Cathedral and the one in Whipsnade on the same autumn afternoon. Both are charming and beautiful but for direct comparison:
Pros of Milton Keynes: Ample car parking, well paved path throughout, obvious laid out structure.
Cons of Milton Keynes: Parking is charged, but at £1 for an hour (ample time) this is worth it in my opinion (even more so with multiple people per car) and goes to the upkeep of the cathedral, close to a busy road so cars can be clearly heard throughout
Pros of Whipsnade: Free car park, quiet and tranquil, greater variety of planted areas, charming carved benches
Cons of Whipsnade: Bumpy road to access, car park v small, soft grass underfoot (not wheelchair friendly), not as obvious a traditional modern cathedral structure

Unexpected surprise as not aware this area existed. Beautiful and tranquil. All local facilities within walking distance.

What a pretty place, we visited as part of the Moon Museum exhibition, lovely surroundings.

Really peaceful place if you want to relax on a weekend

A once-well-famed local location, now tired and shabby. Next to no free parking nearby, not worth the parking charge. An economical site to have your ashes scattered however - even cheaper as a twofor!!
T. I.
Very interesting concept for park space.
Variety of trees being planted on the layout of medieval cathedral.

A great place to be amongst nature and appreciate the planning and the work that has gone into the 'architecture'. A limited number of benches though, more benches to help better appreciate the place.

Beautiful peaceful setting. Walking dog today in wild, wet and windy conditions, but if is February in UK.
R. S. B.
Great place to walk your dog, from the mini marina carpark down to the bridge, over the other side down to the other bridge and back again. Probably takes about 30-45 minutes depending on the walk's sniff factor of your dog! Busier at weekends, of course. Quite calming, lots of greenery and a few barges. Right in the heart of MK!
N. G.
Nice small peaceful area. You need change to pay for parking.
M. M.
Very unusual woodland setting, and interesting variety of trees. Free to get in and wander and nice to sit under the trees and read a book on a warm day.
