I called Mohammed this morning regarding a boiler problem, he gave me a 3 hour time slot and kept me informed beforehand to let me know when he would arrive. He got to me within 2 hours! He quickly diagnosed the problem and was very thorough and talked me through every step of putting the problem right. He then went round the whole of the house and checked and bled every radiator, which all took some time. He then stayed to make sure the whole system was running perfectly before he said goodbye. Prompt : Prompt response and straight to the point answers (e.g. all within hours of my queries) Price : Very Competitive Price for Annual Landlord Gas Safety Check or Servicing (e.g. got a even better deal when me having both jobs done during the same visit) Polite : Courteous at all times (e.g. properly addressing me when turning up for the jobs) Professional : Prior notice of what time he would arrive on the day, proper checking of all pipes (inside and outside), card payment accepted on the spot etc. Practical : Advising me on how to use a boiler effectively without me asking for tips (e.g. on Economy mode, no need to use Preheat function if I can wait for 10 seconds etc.) All in all, a First Class tradesman (and a gentleman) and will recommend him to anyone needing Gas/Boiler Services. Did an emergency call out with Mohammad when a pipe connected to the boiler in my rental flat snapped, in the dead of the wintry weather! Mohammad was very professional and efficient in his response. He asked a few questions over the phone and was able to give a proper diagnosis and quote straight away. He was also excellent in communications, updating both me and my tenants on what time he was able to come timely. From the initial visit to the finished installation they were both incredibly friendly, and knowledgeable and made sure I was fully informed of every step of the process! They also identified a major gas leak in the property which stressed me out beyond words however Mo was incredibly reassuring and upon calling further help he was generous in investing more of his time to help the guys to fix the issue which ultimately saved the day! City gas came out after my boiler was only running warm water. He was open and explained what he was doing as he completed the work. Even after opening a part and later realising it was not benefiting me at all, swapped it back out not charging (which I know some people would have done). For me he explained to me exactly what the problem was so I could follow and make an informed decision on what he needed to do and therefore the cost at the end (very transparent). I would highly recommend and if my boiler has further issues I will definitely use their services again.

City Gas were called out to check our boiler as without hot water and central heating, came early evening to try and get back up and running but needed a part. Received a call next day to say part was being delivered to parts centre the following morning so I asked for them just to let me know when they were coming. Received call 8:35am, they were here before 10 and work completed before 11 and everything working great. Didn’t have to chase, kept informed and friendly service!

City Gas Newcastle just installed our new gas hob. We got the hob on e-bay and alas, it came with a crucial fitting bracket missing, making the connection to the gas supply difficult. Mohammed was resourceful and very calm-headed finding just the part he required in his van. The job took twice as long as it should have given the difficulty he encountered.
