P. E.Great little cafe with a couple of nice outside areas for the summer. All charity run but a good standard of food and coffee. Worth noting that the building itself may look a little dated but they have a great area inside. Loads of space for the kids to run about and a selection of books and toys. Dog friendly.
R. M.Great café. I had a local cola and my Mum had egg toast which came with strawberries and blueberries and maple syrup. She has a fruit tea to drink. Waiter very good, friendly and efficient. The outside area is lovely in the Sun.

R. H.Lovely place which has community and charity at its heart. I tend to drop in for a coffee a couple of times a week, grab lunch once a week or take my girls to their cinema occasions. Or the beer festival!

P. P.This place is a great find. Situated close to the Regent Centre and easily accessible from the Metro. Also just a short walk away from Gosforth High Street to the south. Garden outside has raised lavender borders, making it easy for you to forget you are sitting close to the old Great North Road. The building itself is an arts venue, community hub and café.
I can only comment on the cafe in my review, but this place does an exceptional club sandwich. It's worth walking up the extra distance up the high street for the experience.

P. W.Coffee was lovely, but bacon sandwich not as expected. Was told by a couple of people that the bacon sandwich was lovely, the bacon was lovely but the bread bun wasn't nice , I think it was sour dough which was stodgy. Wouldn't have another one.

This year, 2022 Fertile Ground performed Myths and Dreams. It was really, really immersive and exciting. The theatre bar is always welcoming and the pastries are to die for!
J. R.I performed here for a private function with my band Boys of Brass. Apart from the client, I dealt with the manager Joe and the two sound engineers shipped in from the O2. Absolutely no issues whatsoever. Nice and relaxed during setup and soundcheck (we used all their PA) and the gig itself was fine. Good service at the bar and standard prices for beer too. Food was provided by two popular outdoor vendors selling pizza and fish and chips respectively.
I've also sampled a pro gig as a punter several years back and I thought the venue was great back then, quite underated actually. Check it out for sure and definitely consider it for your event.

C. B. (. m.A great place to be. Aimed at helping people with disabilities to brng confidence within themselves, using drama as a confidence builder and comunication tool. This is a great bonus to our local community and i feel proud that it is here. Thete are some great shows available throughout the year. It is always worth going to the website to see whats on. The coffee shop is available too and a toddler group. There are also other workshops available for PWD. They have also brought forward street parties and much, much more.

J. C.Gosforth Civic is a nice intimate theatre. Very handy for the Regent Centre Metro. Has a bar for alcohol and coffee. I had a latte which, unfortunately was lukewarm. The show however, was brilliant!
