Use these guys, you won't be disappointed. They went above and beyond - the work was to a very high standard, see pictures, the pipework speaks for itself. Nothing was too much trouble, they answered all my questions and consulted with me as the job progressed. Always polite and everything was left clean and tidy which is nice a bonus. Thank you Dan, Chris, Jack and Lee for doing a great job putting in my new boiler and radiators. Heating and hot water at last - and done in time for Christmas. New boiler fitted. No hesitation in recommending this company. Swift response to request for quote with detailed information on all options and full explanation of work required for each. All appointments met and kept well updated on progress for installation. As far as the job itself was concerned quick and efficient removal and installation and power flushing, no mess and the installed pipework all done very neatly. Daniel and Christopher take a great deal of pride in doing a good job with full explanation of operation of the new systems, both very approachable (as are the whole team) and prepared to answer any questions. Lee and his team have been servicing my boiler for about 4 years now after a recommendation. So when they advised my boiler which is 12 years old had some issues which could be repaired we decided it was time for a new one. We needed advice as we wanted one with bigger output. After surveying out existing system they advised our options. On 10 Feb Daniel and Chris started our installation. They are so efficient, friendly and tidy. Any mess was minimal and cleared up. Mats were placed around too. My installation was completed yesterday with other works that were required and full flush. Throughout the installation they kept us informed how things were going. We wanted a more effective heating system from the boiler we have which a couple of different guys have said was ok to keep. - The radiators weren't making much impact in several rooms and one room had underfloor heating which wasn't working at all. Jack and Chris did a great job fitting various bits of new pipework and radiators which have made a big impact, and the extra heating zone working too. Had a few teething issues with the controller but they came back and got it all sorted. Thanks guys.

I have been using Northumbria Gas to take care of my boiler ever since Lee set up the business. I have seen it grow from a one man band ie Lee to what it is today. Lee has usually carried out the work himself and I have always enjoyed his banter; we would put the world to rights! This time Daniel serviced the boiler. He is a credit to the business. He was very efficient and worked cleanly. He explained what he was doing and when he found something that needed attention, he explained it simply and fully. He was very friendly and I felt comfortable having him in my home. I really liked the communication between Daniel and myself on the day on my appointment. He let me know as soon as he was on his way to my house and how long he would be. Following the link he gave me I could even track his journey! I fully recommend Lee and his team and will always use them in the future for any heating and plumbing needs. I wish them every success in the future.

I found Northumbria Gas on "Which? Trusted Traders" after failing to find any other heating and plumbing companies in the area who were prepared and able to diagnose and then fix the various problems with the central heating system in the house we moved into last year. We had radiators that didn't get warm --let alone hot; radiators that took 4 hours or longer to heat up; radiators that sometimes were stone cold some days and merely warm on other days; and several radiators with leaking valves at pipe connections. Lee's team quickly diagnosed the erratic heating as being due to a build up of deposits in the radiators and recommended a power flush. They fixed the leaks, power flushed the system, found and corrected an obscure and incorrect setting in the boiler's hidden system settings, extended the radiator system to a previously unheated room, and made several other improvements. We now have a central heating system that works properly! We're very impressed with the quality of work, the great and professional attitude of everyone involved, their friendliness, and the good communications before, during, and after the work. So, many thanks to Jack, Chris, and Dan for their hard work onsite and to Lee (The Boss) for arranging and coordinating everything. We'll use this company in future for all of our heating and plumbing work. Highly recommended.

I've used Northumbria Gas three times now, the first to replace an aging combi boiler, the second to replace taps in the bathroom and kitchen and now an emergency call out to fix a leaking shower. A old shower mixer was replaced by Jack, promptly with the minimum of fuss and he even managed to reduce the price from the original quote by shopping around for the parts. I was impressed by the friendly service and can't recommend them enough.

Fantastic service. Boiler was really old and we wanted a new one so Northumbria Gas took the time to understand our requirements and gave us a great price on a new boiler. The work was done to a really high standard and the boiler and piping look wonderful. Had a new Worcester Bosch 8000 35k fitted and our house has never been warmer. Northumbria Gas have just fitted a new Worcester Bosch boiler to replace our old Potterton which was well past its' sell by date. Lee and his able assistant have done a fantastic job with the install - neat, tidy, quick and efficient, and extremely nice people to do business with and have in your home which is one heck of a bonus! Have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending their services to anyone - and will be doing exactly that.

Lee and his team fitted a Cassette Boiler Stove and a Thermal Store in our house. They delivered a first class service. They were extremely professional, curtious and respectful of our property. They removed all of the old unsightly pipework and replaced it with new copper piping. Our remit was to reduce our reliance on expensive LPG and to run the heating/hot water from the stove. Lee and his team delivered. They take a pride in their work and in delivering on their promises. The system works brilliantly and it is down to their knowledge and expertise in fitting these types of systems. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company. There after care service is also of the highest quality. We had a small leak to one of the radiator pipes I contacted Lee and one of his team was there the following day to repair. I will definitely be using this company for any future works/servicing.
