We attended an event here, dinner and dissection.
The food was excellent, the staff were really friendly and it was really easy to find.
The facilities looked amazing and I've had the spa recommended by a friend, so I plan on giving it a go!
The room rates are really reasonable too

Nice place, staff very helpful nice rooms very clean.good full English with help yourself, there was plenty of everything. The only problem I would bring to your attention was with me being part of the staff with a football team we were all mixed with other guests at breakfast whereas the night before we had a room on our own for evening meal. Overall a great stay thank you.

This hotel is nice. Pleasant and helpful staff very nice. The food in the bar is delicious especially the steak. Nice spa but ended up really unwell after being in maybe cos of the pool and one of the jacuzzis were very cold, need to be warmer. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean and tidy. Everything there.

Good one and very friendly staff.
Nice sized rooms. Had a good sleep.
Next to Accenture office and walkable distance. So best placed for any one has a visit to Cobalt Business area to stay over.
I liked the Grill food and breakfast

Modern, great facilities, parking is payable but if you get the good room it's free. Check in fully automated. Don't take any cash anymore.
N. B.
nice hotel nice staff just a pity that you don't have a closet to put your clothes in and no fridge to put something to drink especially if you have to stay there a bit longer
C. G.
Stayed two nights here and was frankly unimpressed by the experience. It was average at best. The place could have been a bit cleaner and the facilities need improving.
N. D.
Lovely Hotel with all the facilities you need and friendly staff. Nothing bad to say about this Hotel and Gym. Facilities. Love it!

We had a lovely time great room good food and plenty to do when out and about wonderful coastline lovely people.

Gym was great although very busy. I did a class there which was extremely good but class was too busy and not much room for me. Hotel is nice lovely pool, steam room and gym. But again far too busy for my liking.

We came in for food into the village pub - all new staff but really lovely & great customer service. Matty was very good & was helping a new team member on the till - very patient & encouraging her - a nice buzzy environment with calm staff 👍😁

Plenty of room and the staff were all great. Free parking and plenty of it. Also over the road is a great place for a morning walk. Food was fine for breakfast and I had a very good sleep on a nice bed. Will just them again.

Very comfy bed, clean suite and great facilities for gym and swimming. All staff are lovely and the bar is a great place to chill out.
Not a full five stars due to the food menu being a bit confusing / disappointing in terms of vegan options (only 1 vegan main option and no option for starters or desserts! Also not specified if the chips are vegan friendly).
We ordered the Beyond Burger as it's named on the menu but what we received was in fact a type of bean burger. "Beyond Burger" is a very popular brand of faux meat so we felt the name on the menu was a bit misleading.

It's been a while since I've been there but I remwbrr thr pool being so lively and the rooms being beautiful. It's been so long since we have all been but were trying to go again. Although it is a bit pricy!

pleasant hotel, pleasant staff. The room and bathroom are spacious and clean and the bed is comfortable, the only complaint is the overpriced restaurant that does not justify the price-quality ratio.
P. B.
Stayed here for the GNR this weekend, perfect place for easy access into town, and they were completely geared up for runners. Breakfast started earlier than usual, porridge, bananas.
Brilliantly organised, and will definitely be staying next year when we do it again 🤓 👍🏻
M. H.
Used conference room clean, tidy and well ventilated. Jugs of ice cold water placed on each table. No bins in room. Did not have buffet lunch or snacks at break so cannot comment.
A. S.
Disabled access fine for wheelchairs, otherwise lots of steps....not disabled friendly for those on crutches. Very badly maintained, dirty bathroom, hygiene risk. Covid safety for breakfast left a lot to be desired.
G. W.
Very lively hotel. Excellent location for getting out to explore. 11 minute drive to the beach. Staff very attentive, a special thank you to Andrew. Food was first class. All our bookings for the restaurant, pool and Gym were easy to make. Excellent pool. My only criticism is, it could have been a little bit cleaner. Would recommend a stay here. Gina, Adam & Elizabeth x

Didn't like having to do everything online, no real reception losing the the personal touch, then having to download an app to park your car in a carpark that should be free when you stay at the hotel.
H. C.
Loved this hotel. Staff friendly and always helpful. Makes you feel welcome and food is excellent.

Friendly polite and helpful staff. Stayed over for the Great North Run.
Very clean and great facilities. Bar restaurant on site excellent.

Staff lovely, bed comfortable and on the whole a clean and tidy hotel. Hubby likes fried egg so didnt have the scrambled eggs. Put towels out and asked for clean ones but had to ask as ours were left out but weren't changed. As in most hotels you can get some traditional cooked meals hubby was disappointed at the fact it's a bar and grill within the hotel. But on a whole a great stay. Thanks folks.
M. B.
It's a lovely place to stay. But they should people know it's card payment only when they book up.
F. L.
Hotel very good, food good but surroundings in the pub and grill rowdy and noisy, not what you expect from a 4 star hotel, group of lads loud and getting smashed is not what you want with your evening meal!
L. S.
Great hotel
Clean
Polite staff and good facilities …

Brilliant, friendly and helpfull staff, great food clean warm and comfortable rooms highly recommend

They're struggling a little coming out of lockdown but so is everywhere I suppose! Other than a bit of a faff over breakfast with long queues and limited offering, a lovely stay yet again. The gym is well equipped, sanitary and feels safe to be in, dinner in the restaurant was very very nice with great service.
Rooms were OK..!
K. C.
Great hotel and facilities. (Nearly) all inclusive deal is brilliant. Such good value for money.
Food was really tasty, clean room and great pool. Couldn’t fault it for the money.
A. S.
Great stay, friendly staff. Double room was a good size with comfortable bed. Dinner at night was good, full English breakfast tasty. Bus stop opposite hotal, but we used Metro astaion which was 20min walk away, about £5.45 for adult ticket for 24hrs Used metro to get to Newcastle, Whitley Bay etc
P. A.
Club rooms definitely very comfy and gym very good. However menu and food choice is a bit limited...
F. A.
If you have membership then definitely worthwhile going as you get a great discount on food and drink.
Excellent to watch sport too
C. A.
Room was ok clean and roomy , breakfast included was ok, not sure what they did with scrambled eggs but would not eat them ,,,,yuck gym and pool facilities great
v. s.
I had a very comfortable stay!! Food was bit of an issue (very limited options for vegetarians).
C. W.
Stayed the night with some friends. We were only allowed to book for 2 hours between us all as they preferred to keep tables for potential walk ins. Bar was empty when we had to leave. Never been to a hotel that puts Joe public above paying guests?? Their loss was another bars gain. Other than that, stay was expected with a Village hotel and staff friendly.
G. M.
Had an excellent two day bank holiday break at Village Hotel and will definitely visit again. The staff were all welcoming, friendly and helpful.
We had one of the club rooms, which had a huge, comfy bed, large TV and an amazing shower in the bathroom. On our first night, we had dinner included. My partner enjoyed the Salmon Teriyaki on cauliflower rice. My Chicken Katsu Curry wasn't to my taste. The food was good quality, it was just nothing like a Katsu, which is one of my favourite meals. With hindsight, should have had a burger instead.
Breakfast each morning was excellent. The cooked breakfast options are bacon, sausage, scrambled egg, tomato, mushrooms and beans and are very tasty. I noted that it was possible to ask for poached eggs, which some of the customers were eating. There was a selection of croissants, toast, yoghurt, fruit, juice and hot drinks available.
Still confused by the whole parking thing. Despite assurances by the staff that weekends and Bank Holiday are free, being in a club room and having revolution membership, the payment tablet in the lobby suggested otherwise. Although I've opted not to pay, as reception said not to. So hopefully I won't be fined.
Close to Northumberland Park metro station (15 minutes walk) for easy access to the city centre and coast, without the need for a car.
Hotel clean and a home from home. Can't wait to stay again soon
D. B.
A very underrated experience, and just a great hotel that put on some really fantastic nights, especially during the Xmas period.
S. B.
Great hotel. Very clean with warm welcoming staff who were lovely and friendly
S. P.
Food and service in the bar and grill was good not to crowded , but the area not very warm . Only facility used
T. B.
Lovely hotel but food very poor would expect something a little more from village
J. S.
Heater didn’t work in room , room very dull . Very limited menu , more experienced bar staff needed . Overall the staff were very pleasant
G. B.
Lovely hotel and brilliant staff. Realy enjoyed our stay. Onsite facilities are fantastic. Can't complain when you have accsess to the pool and sauna.
E. B.
We were at a wedding and my husband was taken ill the staff treat us really well especially the lady on duty I didnt get her name but would like to say thankyou I am sure she will know who she is well done village hotel x
G. B.
Great hotel to stay at, perfect location, comfy beds, modern rooms, amazing showers and staff are friendly from the Second you walk in until the sec you leave. Will definitely be back soon
B. B.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are comfortable. Breakfast is great.
S. L. M.
Rooms nice decor, very comfortable beds, not keen on blinds but did keep good light out, local shops tesco express, eat4less, greggs 800 yrd to right upon exit. Starbucks on site plus bar but only available after 4pm disappointing when your staying at that hotel, pool and gym on site does get busy from locals book pool and spa prior. Gym open access. Clean rooms, comfortable, large TV and Dyson fan/ heater, shower. Staff friendly. Local beaches within 10min drive, local country park 300yrds.
L. W.
Lovely hotel, one of the nicest ive stayed in. But only 4 stars for the fact that you cant just pop downstairs for a drink unless you've booked a table. Not a problem with this but wasnt told before staying and when i asked for a table just to have a quick drink in a really quiet period where there was over 20 free tables the guy behind the desk actually was quite rude and starting moaning that he would have to go and wipe one down and we MUST vacate it by 6pm, this was at half 3!!
P. O.
Room nice . Food we had was ok.
Staff very helpful
I. B.
Very nice hotel, new bar area with a good selection of quality drinks, really good food. Really helpful and friendly staff.
Can't fault my stay there.
M. P.
The hotel itself is quite nice, a couple of niggles are, the walls are paper thin, cleanliness isn't really up to scratch which is worrying given the COVID thing going on at the moment, there was a thick layer of dust on some of the furnishings and the TV remote control is filthy. Finally, the breakfast is an absolute rip off for what's provided.

I previously wrote a negative review but would like to update this. There were some issues during my stay. However the general manager Jason resolved these fully. Thanks for the excellent customer service and we would come back again
L. H.
Excellent. We go there to use gym and pool but there is also hotel bar and coffee shop on site. Very spacious and very clean.
S. W.
Good facilities, with an excellent gym, multiple meeting rooms as well as good bar and dining options. Currently has a Covid vaccination centre operating there too!
M. B.
1st time staying here for an overnight stop whilst working in Blyth. The hotel is nicely decorated, rooms are modern with a comfortable bed. Rooms seemed pretty clean. Nice big TV however, they use a Sky Box behind the TV which didn't work at first so I had to mess around with the cables to get it working. My colleague, who was in a separate room had the same issue. As we were in Covid lock down at the time there was no breakfast. We were given a brown paper bag with a pastry, yoghurt, small orange juice and a Kellogs breakfast bar-it was rubbish. Plus no offer of tea or coffee to go with it, definitely not worth the extra money! There is a Starbucks in reception but it was closed. Would probably stay again.
P. R.
Best gym and pool in the area, facilities only overshadowed by the brilliant helpful staff
B. R.
Clean and comfortable but they have scrapped the restaurant in favour of a bar that offers over priced food. I think it was 4 variations burger and 3 of chips , they also sell rump steak but may not have it and salmon on rice which is very dry and lacking a sauce of some description. So, nice place to stay bad place to eat, had the deal to stay not included £40 to spend on food I wouldn't have eaten there. On the plus side there is an extremely cheap and very nice Italian restaurant on the roundabout just before you reach the hotel though it's name escapes me
T.
This is a great hotel, friendly staff, swimming pool, sauna, steam, gym, restaurant and bar facilities.
The large TV in a break out area with cinema style seating off the bar area has a fab atmosphere for watching football and other sporting events. The rooms are nicely furnished with an upbeat feel.
An enjoyable place to stay.
However, the whole customer experience left me feeling very angry this morning when I checked out to be charged £5 a night for parking. No idea why they do not include this within the room rate. I will be back, but not happy.
M. S.
Went to the village hotel for my covid booster injection staff were really kind and helpful
A. H.
It was a relaxed and well managed first night out after the lockdown. They’ve applied the rules and everyone is following them perfectly which adds to the relaxing feel to your stay. We will definitely be staying again feeling at ease with our booking. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely recommend.
A. D.
Enjoyed the stay except the Menu...No Indian food is available.
S. P.
Very comfortable and clean, check in was made very simple for everyone with all the new safety rules in place. The only bad experience was with the restaurant which is a bit over priced and the staff members not very polite to say so. Also the breakfast is mentioned to be served between 7.30am and 10:00am however we arrived at 9.40am and we were greeted by a very rude lady who said the kitchen is closed and we can't have breakfast anymore.
W. G.
Beautiful club room the only down side was the toilet basin was very low which added to my disability of overstretched and twisted tendon.! The bed was 7 feet wide and very comfortable indeed as were the pillows! The toiletries were gorgeous and some of my favourite fragrances, towels thick and fluffy and pure white! I was down on business taking part in a driving awareness course. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented and although it was self service because I had crutches and a big black boot on I was given adequate help with food and drinks to my table from the friendly staff!
J. W.
Great rooms and comfy beds. The club rooms are the very best though. Staff are wonderful. The gym is amazing and massive. I love the food here. Three only thing I don't like is the new restaurant which is now a sports bar. It's too loud and you can't hear yourself think. If you're a sports nut, you'll love the new restaurant. So it's good they do room service! 😃
R. S.
Nice enough hotel. Shame everything was closed due to lockdown 2. The staff were very attentive and helpful. A lot of measures put in place to keep everyone safe. Probably one of the best hotels i have been to for their covid procedures. I can't wait to go back as the gym, pool and bar looked awesome.
K. B.
Great swim sauna steam etc.
Food very good indeed.
Bit off the beaten track like all village hotels.
Remember there is a 5.00 fee to park.
J. N.
Good hotel, nice pub downstairs, friendly service and clean and comfy rooms. I had a club/superior room and there was a lovely big bed and a nice, large and clear TV mounted to the wall. The bathroom was a nice size and there was a good sized, clean bath and shower. Overall it was pretty good.
L. G. P.
We stayed for the last couple of nights and got a bargain £25 a night deal (including parking & wifi) using the Village Revolution membership discount.
There were a few changes due to Covid but that wasn't an issue for us, especially at such a great price. The Gym & Spa were closed and the rooms had been decluttered meaning that there were less amenities. However, if you needed anything the staff were available to get them for you on request.
Our room (301) was very large and situated near the lift which was useful, bed was comfy and overall it was nice and clean. We ate once in the restaurant and felt the portions were very large given the good value and the staff there were very helpful.
A couple of little downsides - some areas of the room were looking a little tired (Window frames, bathroom floor) and the Sky tv was really annoying. There were 100s of channels listed but more than half of them weren't included in the package so when you found something to watch, chances are you couldn't actually watch it.
Great location and would stay again
M. S.
I stayed here for 2 nights, The Staff and facilities are absolutely fantastic, Clean and Comfortable 100% recommendation to stat here. My Daughter had her wedding here and Laura the wedding planner was just amazing the small little things that wasn’t expected were just a real bonus for Dean & Claire. The staff that looked after the wedding reception were really great, professional, friendly and looked after the guests really well.
If your looking for somewhere to hold an event don’t think about it just book it you wont be disappointed.
L. F.
Nicely done out hotel, reasonably priced. Number of tea bags in the caddy is a bit stingy, one per person a day if there's two to a room. My room was nice but the bathroom hasn't been entirely renovated - old flowery tiles are mixed with new decor. Think it's because this bathroom has disabled access but is a bit of a half job. Would have liked to have used gym but paying a fiver is a bit cheeky when most hotels offer this for free during a stay. I can only imagine the gym is very very well kept. Free parking on weekends is great.
D. E.
A nice place to stay. We stay every Christmas. The rooms are very comfortable. They have a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, gym and classes are all excellent.
There is also a Starbucks coffee restaurant here which is good too
Breakfast didn't seem as good this year. Think the breakfast is cooked very early and left on the hot plate.
Just decided to drop from 4 star to 3! Just come down to use the bar (drinks are minimum of £5 a pint) and football was on now finished. Not able to watch anything else now football has finished was told they turn the sound off once the game has finished and are not allowed to show certain programs during certain times. I wanted to watch the BBC news but said they could not do that. Now watching silent football highlights!
I noticed that the hotel replies to every message left on here but all messages seem to be all the same. Looks like they copy and paste messages rather than replying to each message personally! Especially if they have been given a bad review. I wonder if I will get a generic reply!
It would be nice to have your thoughts rather than I having to ring or visit to discuss it....
A. R.
I only use the Village hotel for business trips but if I was ever coming down outside of work, I would still use the Village Hotel. The check-in is speedy, the checkout, even faster. The facilities are fantastic and the restaurant/bar has a great selection. The rooms are good too, large, lots of space and the beds are pretty comfortable.
A. L.
Nice rooms, great staff.
s. w.
used it as a convenient alternative for a 2 night work stopover.
pleasantly surprised, better than a lot of offerings for the money? room good; clean & tidy. also you get a better equipped bathroom than some of the other 'budget' options?! restaurant was good as well with a slightly more varied menu than you get with an attached pub set up.
would certainly recommend & will use again when up this neck of the woods.
G.
Not the greatest Corona I've had, needed to ask for lime in the corona which is standard the peri peri burger was good but the cry fry basket not worth paying any extra for plus it hangs out of ya the next day
K.
My daughter booked us into the club room, which was nice and more spacious than some hotels. The bath is lovely and deep, so I had a nice relaxing soak. The bed was comfy enough although I didn't get any sleep from the constant banging and shouting in the room next door and in the corridor (even with ear plugs). Staff are friendly and if you don't drive its on a great bus route.
We had to order room service as the bar was to full with people having a drink (Friday night). The barman who served us was lovely and very helpful.
I never got a chance to use the spa facilities but I'd come back again to make use of them.
J. C.
Came for a spa day, the treatments were fabulous, and the food in the bar upstairs was delicious, the only thing that I was disappointed with was the pool area. There was swimming lessons on and all of the beds and chairs were being used by the spectators, had to wait. When we got into the pool the water was freezing, the jacuzzi was even colder. Went into the steam room to warm up when we came out and used the showers it was like iced water (I know it feels colder when you have been in there, but this was ridiculous) after that never warmed up until we got dressed. I would have given it more stars if this facility had been better.
j. w.
Excellent aqua fit with Amanda. Feel refreshed and happy. Good hygiene precautions. Lockers spread out well, although some clients not social distancing. The coffee shop a miss.
D. C.
Nice Hotel, easy access and rooms are comfortable and fairly sized. Staff are friendly and helpful and I used the attached Starbucks on the ground floor quite frequently. May revisit for a nice escape from home.
N. B.
Ok hotel. Rooms are fine but no power outlets near bed and only one on the wall.
Showers in room are fine if not overly powerful.
Restaurant food was nice but the salad I had was massively overpriced (£18 for a green leaf salad and a butterfly chicken).
Gym facility is absolutely fantastic. The best hotel gym I have ever used.
Parking seemed adequate even when the hotel was busy.
S. C.
Good hotel suitable for all age groups and families, a good range of facilities. Very clean rooms, covid safe and lovely comfortable bed.
The food and drink in the restaurant is a bit expensive for fast food.
K. B.
I have stayed here twice and both time have been great. Village hotels are so convenient and modern. It’s easy to check in yourself on screens in the lobby but if you’d prefer or if you’re having trouble there’s always someone at hand to help. The pool and gym facilities and great and come as standard with the Club Rooms. These rooms have bigger, comfier beds and all the mod-cons you’d need. Parking is plentiful too. The breakfast is pretty standard and the pub has a good atmosphere!
J. C.
Nice hotel located close to the industrial area. Great check-in experience using self serve technology ...plus a free beer on arrival. Various dining options available on site, breakfast was plentiful. Room very cold on arrival, but soon warmed up when thermostat was set. Room was nicely furnished but a bit basic, no safe.
L. V. 3.
Great hotel lovely modern room with all the mod cons and a kettle if you ask.
Nice bar to eat in at night with a good atmosphere.
And a lovely Italian restaurant if you want a step up from the bar.
There a great pool and gym facilities.
Opposite the hotel there is some heath land if you want to take in some country walks.
The staff are super friendly and helpful.
J. C.
Lovely hotel
Nice gym 🏋️♀️ 💪
J. N.
Been a member at the gym since about 2012. Has recently been re-fitted and has friendly staff.
Good equipment in the gym, rarely find any machines out of order.
The pool is a good size at 25m and although it can get busy I can always manage to get the number of lengths in I planned.
Sauna and Steam Room are both a reasonable size so you can always find a spot to sit.
As far as the hotel goes, I have never stayed myself but relatives who have stayed always seem happy enough.
D. C.
Stayed overnight and it was really comfortable. The bar area is nice but We had to pay £5 for our 10 year old to use the pool then found that he couldnt really go in as the pool was split into three swimming lanes he was also not able to go into the hot tub so we paid £5 for him to sit on the stairs for a while
M. S.
Club Room was really good value for money and the leisure facilities were great. Probably my fault for not checking into it but I wasn't keen on the pub style dinner experience as I was expecting a restaurant and the set dinner menu was very limited however the food was very nice anyway. Cant really fault it and will go back with the kiddos next time so they can make use of the pool as its champion. Would recommend.
J. L.
Very nice place great bar aswell just a bit out of the way though
L. F.
We stopped here last year for the night in the cabin suite(?). The room was lovely, massive bed, massive TV with full Sky and a coffee machine to go with it. The bathroom was just as nice and the only thing keeping this from 5 stars. The money I paid for the room I would have preferred a bath but instead we had a rainfall shower, I'm not saying it was bad it was far from it, if it had somewhere to sit during the shower I would have forgiven the lack of bath. Also if you are facing the back of the hotel keep your windows shut, the allotment roosters and chickens weren't exactly quiet All in all excellent stop would definitely go back!

Village Hotel Spa Day
We were welcomed to the hotel and shown where to go. When we got to the spa area we were given forms to complete and the lunch menu. (When we booked we were told we would get afternoon tea). We were then given our towels and robes and off we went to change. The facilities were all clean and lovely. There was only one private changing room that I saw. We entered the pool area which is fairly big. There were children's swimming sessions going on and members swimming. There were not a lot of sunbeds to lie on. (I think there should have been more sunbeds and an area seperated for spa day clients.). We all enjoyed our treatments, facials and massages and were very relaxed. Although it could have been a little warmer in my room.
We then went for our lunch, the girl who booked this had already been to the front desk to ask why we had been given the menu we had as we had paid for afternoon tea. We were given extra food and wine as we had not been told of the changes and then they gave us a goody bag when we left.
We had a really good day and would do it again.
Just please change the music from the constant loop of waves to some nice Thai music or Irish pipe music.
c. h.
Operating under covid restrictions. Obviously no gym, pool facilities etc. Rooms have had tea, coffee making facilities removed. Breakfast is a take out bacon butty. Bar was still open serving food with sensible restrictions. The staff here were very good working under difficult conditions.
D. N.
We celebrated my wife's birthday and we had a fantastic time. Great room, nice and clean and nice large TV. The staff were first rate from walking into the hotel at the reception to the swimming pool and restaurant. The food was great in the restaurant and all in all a very enjoyable stay, we would definitely return.
D.
Watched an England game here. Nice place but the service left a bit to be desired. 3 times I was given a pint of cidre after asking for snakebite.
X. V.
Very nice hotel and very friendly and helpful staff. We arrived later than expected (11pm) and got upgraded to a club room (50''+ TV and free access to sport hall). There are 2 restaurants and 1 Starbucks in the hotel . One of the restaurant is more pub like with plenty of screens to watch live sports, the other one is an Italian restaurant (note: no pizzas) with a very impressive decor (see pics). Food is OK, and my daughter got a kid activity pack every time we ate at the restaurants there. The sport hall is very comprehensive: yoga classes, swimming pool and weights area (be aware that there are classes in the pool and in very therefore not always accessible). Ample parking in front and back of hotel, however it can get a bit busy during the day and at week ends due to the sport hall and events (weddings, etc...). Overall, very happy with experience there, definitely recommended.
J. R.
Decent rooms and nice gym facilities. This would have been 5 stars if it wasn't for the front desk staff on day 2 of my stay.
Due to a booking error my colleagues and I had to check in and check out again which wasn't a big deal (the error was on our end and their nicer rooms were fully booked). When we came back to the hotel to recheck, it was pretty busy, and the receptionist seemed flustered.
We weren't able to use the automated check-in so had to speak directly to her. She didn't even look at me, and when I tried to confirm that her colleague had relayed our request from the day before, she told me to come back later because she was too busy at that moment. It was very cold.
I returned later, and luckily it was less busy so she seemed to have time for me. She confirmed that her colleague had indeed relayed the message and that our gym for that day would be complementary. I didn't think anything of it until I woke up in the morning with a bill slipped under my door.
Somewhat irritated, I went down to reception and found the same woman at reception with what I assumed to be her manager. When I inquired as to why my colleagues and I had received a bill despite our conversation the previous day, she denied all knowledge and claimed she'd never received a note and blamed it on her colleague. Extremely unprofessional.
Overall aside from the rude receptionist, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel.
J. P.
Fantastic hotel. The rooms were newly decorated (you could still smell the fresh paint) and very comfortable. Loved having sky in the room. It was just like being at home. The pool facilities were good. And all the staff were happy to help with anything if I needed it. Will be using this hotel again.
A. L.
The location is great for me but the traffic around the hotel in peak times is really busy. Plan your journey well to avoid. The gym and pool were both great and more than I expected. The room was great although the sky TV worked when it wanted to. I would use again
C. G.
Fun hotel to visit. Good Covid measures in place and the food in the bar grill is very tasty. Full use of a well equipped gym for only a little extra.
C. W.
Rooms too hot, couldn't sleep comfortably, they changed the breakfast choice and eating arrangements on us, VERY disappointing, faulty toilet got us an upgrade to a hub room, which was very nice, and reflected well on the hotel. Stayed on a cut price deal, very good value overall.

Stopped at many village hotels over the years but this is the best. We use it to visit relatives nearby and as a stopover when staying further north for holidays. The staff are very warm and welcoming especially Hayley. Rooms are spacious and have everything you need. Great location for visiting lots of interesting places. Look forward to our next visit.

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel - a chain may not have local charm, but it had high standards and a good range of services. Self check-in was easy, the pool and spa facilities were excellent, and the room was very comfortable. Add in an on-line coffee shop (with a good range of dairy alternatives) and you're all set. The only odd moment was when a cleaner tried to enter the room before checkout time and without the 'Come in' notice on the handle, but I assume this was a blip.
D. W.
Lovely clean and tidy hotel with friendly staff!
I use the hotel for the gym as it’s now open 24/7 (just the main gym room).
Love having access to the pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna rooms.
Never to busy to not get a workout in.

We had a meal in the victory pub with a large group of our family and we were more than happy with food that was available. The latest menu is perhaps not as good as the previous, but if you're happy with basically a burger it's good enough. Staff were all friendly and helpful and there was some live music on that while good, wasn't suited to us as we wanted to catch up with family. Fortunately there's quieter space in the lobby so no problems there.
H. C.
Attended a conference in one of the meeting rooms. Entrance lobby and on-site pub/restaurant was very well presented, clean and had the temperature just right which is sometimes a challenge in these places! We had food, selection of soft drink cans, coffee and a selection of teas laid on which was hot, fresh and nice. Flatbread pizzas which was a bit different but very tasty. Very pleased.
A. F.
Good atmosphere, clean rooms and ever so friendly staff. Rooms clean and good quality. Excellent pool and spa. Noisy on a Friday night due to events that were on. Excellent value since we booked during their sale price. All in very good.

I cannot speak anymore highly of our experience in the village hotel in Newcastle. Would love Jade and Louise from the spa to get praised for their attentiveness and their friendly chat... by god these girls have healing hands... would defo get a massage and facial from these girls again... so ladies get booked up.The pool/jacuzzi was amazing, thoroughly enjoyed the slow lane as I've just learned to swim. The food was also amazing and the rooms were clean and fully equipped, only thing I would recommend is maybe a grab rail for elderly/stiffer residents to get in the shower more easily. The breakfast was also good. Will return for spa and tribute nights in the future. Staff were mostly friend except from one on reception but hey... coulda been a long day for her and we all have off days so she's forgiven this time.
D. O.
Lovely Carvery Lunch. Well worth the money. Food was excellent. Only thing was it was a tad chilly in the seating area as the Air Con was blasting out right above where we were sitting. Didn't spoil anything though and would definitely return and would definitely recommend the 4 course Carvery. Xx
H. C.
It's ok, it's clean and everything but it's a bit chavery, (full of chavs) I can't knock down the hotel because the room was nice, there are no ceiling lights so it was a bit dark. The spa was beautiful, the massages were lovely, and the pool and sauna were clean, pool was a bit cold however, the food was of good standard too, but during the evening there were kids running around, parents not caring and when I went to bed, people were shouting on in the corridor and again kids running up and down until after 12pm. Like I said the hotel is nice but the clientele it attracts are not my kind of people and for that reason I won't be back. Sorry village hotel ☹️
R. S.
Stayed in a club room which was a good standard. Location is excellent for the office, need a taxi if you want to go out in the evening. Food in the restaurant was ok. Price reasonable for this type of hotel. Pool and gym facilities are excellent and hence I would stay here again.
D. J.
I've stayed at the Coventry Village Hotel on 2 occasions as its quite lovely, so decided to try another location. I got a good deal so cannot complain to much however all in all I was disappointed. They've recently refurbished the bar area which is great however the rooms are in a poor state, if I'd payed full price I'd have been very annoyed. Sadly this is what I'll tell people and I doubt anyone will go based on my recommendation. Staff are lovely and location is excellent, such a shame.
M. W.
Great celebration last night.
Met up with great friends.
Hotel and staff made us very welcome with excellent service throughout the whole event.
Not the first time for us to visit and definitely not the last.
Excellent well done the Village
m. m.
Nice hotel, location good.
A. O.
The hotel is OK, fine for a 1-2-day stay. The lack of alternative dining options is a downside + the location is generally deserted during the weekend. Also, the fact that the gym costs 20 Pounds per day even if you are staying at the hotel was a surprise.
M. G.
Me and my wife went for a lovely night Lastnight. What a fantastic time we had the staff were fantastic with us nice and friendly as we r not drinkers they bent over backwards to accommodate us. The facilities were great next time we will get treatments (don't tell the wife it will be a surprise for her). The food was fantastic in the bar and the restaurant. We couldn't of asked for anything more thank you for a great stay. Keep up the good work will recommend to family and friends.
A. J.
Been coming here for the last 15 years , this wasn't a great stay .Breakfast was a shame Bedroom had cobwebs on light fitting s.so hadn't been cleaned properly, which in this world we live in is a little worrying. Swimming pool and staff very good .
B. S.
Great stay in the hotel. The pool facilities are great though quite busy with scheduled activities. Gym was very good with more than enough equipment. Visited Buca restaurant which was lovely and used the Starbucks in the lobby on both days for breakfast.
b. d.
Good hotel, don't use their taxis button on the phone, ripped off☹️
N. U.
Nice and clean hotel
Friendly staff
Kids enjoyed staying here
I. S.
Warm, cozy and inviting. If it wasn't for the millions of people using the facilities and the very busy foyer from the conference rooms it would be perfect. But still, everything else is spot on and it has a real buzz about the place.
Can't really fault it for being popular as its on a busy office park and surrounded by houses!
Good food and rooms :)
T. K.
Comfortable bed and nice breakfast... What more could you ask for? The location not great if just visiting specifically the city centre but made a great base for visiting the North East. Food at dinner in the hotel (imitation Frankie & Benny's) restaurant was really good - just a shame the pricing was more hotel pricing and not Frankie pricing! The full array of Sky TV channels in the room was a nice extra. Only niggle was that there is no towel rail in the bathroom and on a two-night stay housekeeping folded up and left our wet towels as a default (which did get rectified by reception on request).
S. U.
We attended the village hotel for my mother in laws 60th birthday. We booked for a spa, the spa staff were friendly and the treatments were fabulous. We were also able to use the facilities of pool, sauna, steam room etc. The sauna and steam room were a good size. However the pool area and water were cold. Following our spa we went for food in the pub/restaurant. Again the staff were friendly and provided us with great service. The food was also great and arrived promptly.
T. B.
Just had a fabulous spa day at Village Spa. Lovely, clean, restful surroundings. Staff couldn't do enough to make sure we had everything we needed. Lovely shoulder, neck and head massages then facials from Alisha and Laura and very nice lunch in Village pub. Definitely recommend.
J. M.
Had a nice stay last night in one of the club rooms. Bed was amazingly comfortable! Decor of the room was nice too. Shame it didn't have a bath though. Pool facilities were lovely. Not overly fussed about the restaurant, the decor is awful (xmas lights in April and red check oil cloth table cloths that make it look like you're in a greasy spoon). Food was average for both dinner and breakfast.
C. W.
Rooms could do with better maintenance. Bar/restaurant and a Starbucks in the foyer. No proper reception as it's self-checkin but someone is generally on hand for any issues. Spa and gym seem popular. Lots of event spaces. Big car park.
P. B.
Looked nice but just went for flue vaccination, no probs
S. G.
We stayed here for my partner's birthday and I got the "village Fridays" deal for £69 which included a 2 course evening meal, a glass of prosecco each and a nights stay for two. I upgraded to the club room for a further £20 which included an extra comfy bed (and they are extremely comfortable) spa access and sky tv so we could settle and watch a film after tea. This is still an excellent deal given the Friday night stay. The food was excellent, we decided to share a starter of garlic bread and a dessert of chocolate fudge cake which was lovely. We both had the minute steak as a £5 extra but as thin as a minute steak is, it was well cooked. Service through tea was a little slow given the room was not full but it didn't spoil the night. Check in was very easy using my surname on the computer I was able to register a room card myself. The club rooms have new furniture with a retro style which looks fantastic. We did not use the spa facilities this time but we have in the past. The pool is fantastic and spacious enough for a relaxing swim. All in all we had a great time here again and will certainly be back again.
F. K.
Lovely gym facilities and good looking bar, sadly I wasn't allowed in the bar area as I didn't have a mask, a little confusing as other weren't wearing masks in the bar?
Still looked nice though
E. M.
We got off to a bad start when we arrived as we had been allocated a room near the construction work. We eventually found our way back to reception and spoke to Ann who was extremely helpful and friendly and sorted everything out for us including moving us to a different room. The room was perfect as was our breakfasts. Ann from Reception went out of her way to make us feel welcome and we hope to return soon. Thank you Ann! Definitely 5 star all round!
E. W.
Would have been a four or five but my taste was soured by the lady who greated me, get my reservation up and then tell me I have to go on a different tablet and do it myself.
And when I wanted to pay in cash she was willing to loose the whole stay (at £200) than help me figure out what to do!
Said my friend may have card who I was meeting in an hour could I just put my bag in the room.... Absolutely not!
Asked to see the manager, I had to just wait here for how long she couldn't tell me!
Why is it that I Am not allowed to pay for my stay in cash?
If my money is good enough for your bar, restaurant and spa, why can't I pay in cash for my room?
Why did no-one explain this to me. Prior to my stay?
S. S.
Fantastic, my sister held her wedding here. The staff could not help more. Especially the wedding staff and there was one amazing girl in the Italian restaurant, she took the time to talk to the children and made their experience amazing! Absolutely top class service!
J. B.
Full scale gym open from 6:30 am. Decent breakfast. Comfortable rooms. Limited pressure in the shower.
Little caveats but still great value.
J. M.
All staff were very helpful especially Vikki who was able to show us the disabled access room before booking to make sure everything was all okay. Also recently been changed around it's all open plan bar and the hotel is lovely and clean.
K. S.
Swimming pool is absolutely great friendly atmosphere. Spacious and very clean.
C. H.
Spa itself was really nice. Had two treatments a manicure and shoulder, neck and head massage. My nails are already peeling and no treatment was completed on my hands. For the massage I only received a head massage which was lovely but I was expecting my shoulder and neck done as well. Staff were really pleasant and apologetic when we were advised there were no robes. This made waiting in between treatments a bit cold and uncomfortable.
G. B.
I stayed here because I had to go to a place close to work. I do not think there is much else in the immediate vicinity. The price was very reasonable and the room was clean and big enough. The Full English buffet was excellent, and I also had a decent meal in the dining room of the pub. However, I was in a room near the elevators and it was quite noisy because of thin walls and the space under the door (they could slip a morning newspaper). I was also told that there was a good gym and pool. Overall, I guess it's good value for money without either of the dressing.
B. L.
The Good:
A solid hotel for the price...
Awesome gym and pool area!
Very nice restaurant and a Starbucks.
The room was clean and there was a good iron and free wifi
Standard Breakfast
The Bad:
Staff were not very attentive especially in the restaurant. They were very slow, which is a shame as the food is spot on and the way it's kitted out is great.
There was a flapping sound from a vent outside my room all night which annoyed me.
All rooms should be of the 'upper deck' spec.
K. L.
I live round the corner from the hotel and my parents use it all the time. We went for Mother's day for the Carvery. We were slightly early as we got the time wrong and even though they were clearing up from the first sitting they gave us a table, they brought out the starters to the table as they weren't quite ready it was a seld serve buffet
The food was excellent, brilliant value for money and the service was top class.
The servers were brilliant for our table and nothing was too much trouble.
M. R.
Fabulous location for our induction day. The staff were so helpful and the venue just what we needed.
J. F.
Makes an initial good impression feel welcome and helpfulness of staff. Facilities for residents and conferences excellent.
Hotel is ideal for short term visitors but does have gym facilities.
P. B.
Amazing hotel, they do some great shows if you fancy a fun night out. There is a Starbucks downstairs, so you can even have a catch up with friends. They do have a swimming pool and gym with sauna and hot tub. They do function rooms which I have been told they are more then welcome to go the extra mile to help with anything they can.
H. M.
Rooms were great value for money and we'll maintained, it was disappointing to find the lifts weren't working, which meant struggling up stairs with a suitcase and toddler. Staff were all lovely. Restaurant was nice, good food at a reasonable price. Breakfast was also excellent valuer money, with a good choice of quality food and drinks.
A. o.
On a business park, but a great hotel with fantastic gym and pool. We did two free fitness classes too. Back massage was £32. Great meal in restaurant. Coffee in the Starbucks. Would go again.
S. W.
Nice hotel. Bit of a maze getting to some rooms. We had to go up a set of stairs then down another to get to ours (or two lifts if you prefer). Pool/sauna areally was good but very very busy in the evening. Location is OK to get to by car but there is very little around if you want to go out you need a car or taxi. This didn't bother us as we knew this. Restaurant is OK but overpriced and mediocre food wise. The bar has a decent menu though and is not so expensive. Gets very busy when football is on, but that can be a plus as there is a decent at atmosphere to watch the game. Overall ok for an overnight stay with the Mrs or for work.
D. B.
Lovely hotel! Very friendly staff and the rooms are great. Comfy beds, clean bathroom with a great shower.
Free WiFi and freeview tv with loads of channels. Iron, hairdryer etc in the room too.
The bar downstairs is great too, had a tasty meal and a couple of pints which was very reasonably priced. Downloaded the app with has some good offers too
A. M.
Joined the gym this month (Dec 17). Staff are excellent so far. Facilities include 25m Pool and a well equipped gym. Separate rooms for spinning and other classes. Plenty of adult only swimming times to avoid kids.
A. D.
I stayed at the Village Hotel in Southampton. I LOVED IT! I was so excited to stay here but have been disappointed all within the first two hours of being here. I really wanted to give this hotel a five star but I can’t.
Restaurant it overcrowded and a small amount of staff. Staff did not have any sense of urgency and were disorganized.
The rooms are NOT AIR-CONDITIONED ( no vents for air conditioning) and breakfast IS NOT FREE.
There are no electrical outlets next to the bed/sofa. There is a total of three outlets in the room. One is at the foot of on side of the bed and the other two outlets are on the opposite wall which is being used for the TV and fan. We have iPads, iPhones, battery backups and a laptops to charge all on one outlet. Come on now, we all live in the 21st century!
I should not have to unplug the TV so I can use the outlet to charge my phone while laying with my head at the foot of the bed.
A. W.
1st stay here due to not using premier inn anymore through work. Very impressed on the first stay. Massive tv in room, all mod cons. Food reasonably priced. Location out of the way so nice and quiet.
Will I be booking the next stay each month for 2020... yes 😁👍
D. D.
Hen party themed night, 80s revival! It was so well organised, DJ was funny and got everyone up, food was really nice, a 3 course dinner, staff were friendly and attentive, just the best night! Do wish we'd dressed up though, we were one of the few tables that didn't:)
I. M.
I stay in village hotels as often as I can and this one was a good as the others. My one small issue was for the fact I was in one of the upper deck rooms there was no lighting over or by the bed. Other than that it was warm, comfy with a warm welcome from the staff.
C. S.
The village hotel Newcastle is a nice place, it's got a great gym and spa. It feels modern and clean. The new self service check in system was a nightmare for me. It never found my booking and then I had to find a staff member when I then had to cut my visit short. Other wish a great place
S. G.
The room was very nice and clean. The food in both the bar and restaurant were mostly very good. The location is convenient and allows for pleasant walks to the shops. The bar shuts at just 11pm though and room service only until 10 pm. Also, the lift has been broken during our visit which could be a problem for some guests.
S. J.
Beautiful Hotel, lovely rooms and amenities. I highly recommend the gym and the big comfy beds 😊
S. A.
Attended a course organised here, big parking area, currently free but soon to start charging via Just Park. The reception was friendly and assisted me with my enquiry. There is a Starbucks inside, which good for having lunch during the break.
The room was spacious and the temperature was perfect even though it was freezing outside.
A. M.
The hotel is in a great location if traveling on business as close to all office complex. It seems they have recently renovated the club rooms as they looked much nicer than last time I was here. There is a great fitness centre like for all village hotel. The food options both the pub and the buca restaurant are rather disappointing but there is Starbucks.
I. H.
Lovely comfortable looking hotel that I would recommend. I was supporting a works function so had access to facilities provided to businesses such as projector and screen to set up etc. Staff were very friendly and also helped where they could from set up to getting equipment in from the van. Only downside of the venue was that the walls between our venue and the gym/other function were not soundproof. This resulted in a lot of background noise while our speakers were up front and centre.
K. J.
Nice hotel with good facilities guests can use the gym and pool. Only issues is it makes for a packed car park as gym users in the carpark along with guests. Food is a bit pricey for what it is. If your in some rooms you get woken by the early morning spin class music blaring away below you.
B. D.
Teething problems with the checking in process due to new touch pad system but a friendly receptionist helped us. Pool full of kids but cleanly presented with sauna and steam room. The bedroom itself is very clean and smart with a sofa and the bathroom is small but not intrusive, the grouting on the shower end needs re-doing due to it being black but that's the only fault but that's me nit picking and can be easily overlooked due to everything else being great. Would stay again.
S. B.
This is a review of The Public House bar specifically, which resides inside this hotel.
I grabbed a bit of food here while I waited for my car to be serviced at a garage nearby. Service was fine and it seemed like a nice enough place to sit, eat and watch the TV.
The price was average. The food was problematic though. I had a steak club sandwich. I wasn't asked how I would like my steak done, but it appeared to vary depending on which triangle of sandwich I was eating, ranging from almost raw in one, to very well done in another. It tasted fine, but they really need to sort the meat out.
Fries were nice.
M. P.
Immaculately clean room. Plenty of things to do on site which is a good thing as the city is a fair distance away. (£3,75 for a pint of coke makes a taxi elsewhere seem the order of the day). Yes it was hot but no ventilation, save restricted window opening, is not really acceptable in this day and age.
Would I stay here again? Most definitely but not in summer.
D. R.
A lovely hotel with such warm welcoming staff. The food is really nice. The bedrooms are clean and well maintained. The staff are always around and willing to help. I will definitely stay here again.
B.
Much amaze, cool ways. Actually though, it's a great restaurant and the service is amazingly quick. Would recommend.
T.
Hotel is lovely but the restaurant food leaves something to be desired, will stay there again I just won't eat, expensive and I swear mine was microwaved, it came to the room in 10 minutes yet the restaurant was busy and had no tables, was told food would be 25min so expected longer wasn't tiger prawns either as stated o.n the menu just king prawns which were like bullets definitely microwaved
C. L. H.
Came with my 5 year old daughter a lovely lady came to make sure we were ok
There was a bit of disturbance through the night but apart from that everything was lovely would definitely come back xxx
P.
I have been a member of the Village Hotel gym for about 6 years and it is always clean, tidy, well-equipped and managed. The hotel reception has recently undergone a thorough refurbishment and looks great. The in-house Starbucks is a bonus
n. w.
Nice hotel with large rooms andeverything you need. I didn't like the self service check-in as it didn't work. Also the walls are thin and the guy next door was snoring loudly! Room service good was excellent!
B. K.
Nice place to stay and the check-in / check-out process is lightning fast. Surplus parking and quick access to bar and facilities.
We stayed during a mini-heatwave were only provided with a small dyson fan in a very warm room, with windows that open less than an inch - ended up as a rather sleepless night unfortunately.
u.
Hotel is in an office estate so not much to explore in the surrounding area but there is a gym and a pool. The bedrooms were clean and had a really comfortable bed. Large sky telly and free wifi. Good breakfast. I would go back
W. A.
Great place for an after work beer... food is good and has provided the setting for many a great evening. Not as expensive as you might think with it been a chain hotel. Location is also great for local business and facilities into Newcastle city centre and surrounding towns.
c. g.
Great hotel and staff very helpful and friendly,
Will be booking again for the coming months.
A. A. A. O. (.
Everything was perfect! The rooms were beautiful, interiors awesome! Food Muwah!!!! Love love.
Haley the front seat host is amazing. Help with the best room for our kids and gave us tourism advise about the dinosaurs museum for the kids!
E. B.
A modern hotel so depending on your outlook read lively as noisey but clean and staff are very attentive. Spa is excellent and pool is great so come prepared to use the lovely facilities.
C. B.
Typical village hotel, if you have tried one this one is no different to any of the others I have stayed at. Nice hotel good location on silverlink retail park. Large free car park.
Our room was on the North side which overlooks west allotments. We were women by a cockerel crowing. We love the sound but it's not to everyone's taste.
K. D.
Service and food were ok, no complaints. However, its lay out is that of a travel lodge and frankly if I was staying there as a guest and paying the rates they charge I would both expect and want more than the restaurant offers in both comfort and ambience.
A.
Visited 3rd January 2019. We enjoyed our stay for 1 night at this hotel. Wife's birthday. About 15 minutes drive from Newcastle city centre. Plenty parking too. It cost us about £100 all in for room, evening meals, drinks and breakfast. Mind you, this was an offer in early January. We were able to make use of the gym and pool area too. Everything was fine. We were in a club room which had a large TV and was spacious enough. A couple of the plugs weren't working and the TV had a slight fault but we were only there one night. We were given a free drinks voucher on arrival when we mentioned it was my wife's birthday. The food was better than I expected so we were happy. Breakfast was self service and was good. Starbucks in the main entrance area if you didn't want to do hotel breakfast. All the staff we engaged with were pleasant and our departure was hassle free. There's also a "Sports bar" where you can watch footy on big screens. Great for blokes I suppose..
Yeah, generally not bad at all. Enjoyed. It's the first time we've stayed at a Village Hotel and I would certainly recommend based on our experience. Of course, it's just one of a chain of hotels in the uk which offers a similar kind of deal. It all depends on what you want or the occasion. Yes, enjoyed and would maybe look for a similar offer elsewhere for a day or two away..
G. O.
Nice hotel. Clean and well kept. Good position to visit Tynemouth and She, as well as Northumberland. The bar and restaurants on site are good too. Gym and pool facilities are top notch. The only letdown with the hotel was the layout. Our hotel room was quite far and we had to go up and down stairs, we got lost a bit. Also we hadn't been given 2 sets of towels and had to contact reception, no phone extension for it so I had to walk to reception which was kinda far.
K. F.
Clean hotel with friendly staff. Fairly quiet rooms except hearing every foot step from rooms above. If you have anything important going on ask if the room above you is business or pleasure.
S. L.
great location for a night .came and went to a club. rooms lovely breakfast in a bag cause of covid .plenty of parking. food ok . gud bar .wuld come again.
S. J.
Family room with 2 kids. Used pool and breakfast with no complaints. Good night sleep. Only issue was we paid over £120 for the stay and a friend got a same room next day for £25 in sale.
J. S.
We stayed at the village hotel for one night, you have you have to pay extra for everything including use of the pool. When we arrived we were given the wrong room number so had to go down again, then a broken key, then finaly after going to reception 3 times the right key but no appology. There were no robes in the room like stated on the website. The restraunt was good, but slow service despite being very quiet. It was £7.50 for 2 cokes which we were shocked at. We paid for late checkout so came up to the room to get ready to leave at 12:30 but were once again locked out and could not get into our room for another 15 minutes. Then had to rush to get ready when half an hour would have been ample time. We could also not open our window at night as it was too loud outside. However when windows were shut it was very quiet.
R. T.
Lovely hotel and pool facilities. Christmas party night do though was expensive for average quality of food. And only one choice of sweet which I didn't like and neither did a couple of others in our party.
Drinks very expensive compared to some other hotel Christmas party nights I am attending this year.
J. B.
Got upgrade to club room but room was very dark and no make up mirror. No instructions for coffee machine and sky tv didn't seem to work. Bed really comfy and large shower.
S. G.
Very busy hotel with a decent bar & Tv screens. Bar Food was very good & breakfast was excellent. Rooms were spacious modern & clean. Would stay here again.
K. S.
Club room stay for £40 as part of Jan sale. Great meal in the pub. Leisure facilities good/clean as with all other villages stayed at. Room spotless, bed comfy. No biscuits to go with my coffee!
D. C. (.
Great place to stop. Staff very friendly and always up for chat. Hotel nice and clean and staff always go out tgrur wag to be helpful and make you feel comfortable. The new pub / restaurant is good too.
H. M.
Village Hotel is excellent for conferences. We had an afternoon workshop for 60. The hotel made sure it ran smoothly, with plenty of daylight and quiet for the discussion, but easy to reset the room for presentations. Good venue and we often use it
M.
Brilliant Stay, Great Helpful Attentive Staff!! Cannot fault this place, we were working in the area and needed to stop overnight, we paid for the upgrade to club rooms and wasn't dissapointed, large screen TV and Sky 👍 food in the pub area at the evening was fantastic and breakfast had a huge selection. If all village hotels are the same standard as this we will be using them whenever possible 😉
P. P.
Nice hotel but way over priced! Was there for the great north run. Stupid price and wasn't worth the money. Breakfast chaotic too as we were shown to a table one at a time! You'd think that after years of this event they would know what to expect. Manager had to step in otherwise we wouldn't have got anything to eat!
R. R.
Nice hotel and good gym
S. W.
Was disappointed to arrive at the spa to find children's swimming lessons taking place, followed by aqua aerobics - this was the first we knew that this would be the case. It was so loud my friend and I ended up with headaches, hardly the relaxing day we expected. Lunch was included and was lovely, as was our spa treatment but overall the day was spoilt for us so I can only give 3 stars overall
J. H.
Good rooms, with Comfy beds, but can be a little too warm in the room. High quality tea and coffee making facilities, good shower with nice hot water. Breakfast is very nice and the stag are rather helpful.
S. d.
Nice Hotel. comfortable, Good Staff , Coffee machines in Rooms if you know how to use them...we asked for Kettle & it was brought to room within 2 minutes.
very Popular Hotel.
Definitely will stay there again.
c. b.
Great facilities and food. Club rooms are excellent with comfortable beds and well fitted bathrooms. Quite a young vibe but don't let that stop you. Well recommended.
K. C.
This place is lovely and clean. Staff seem very friendly. I usually come to the hotel for the yearly event they hold (Anatomy Lab) but I can't fault the hotel.
J.
Lovely hotel. Great gym facilities and spa area. Pool is lovely, and is warm. It has a Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, sun beds etc. Would recommend to anyone.
N. T.
Nice hotel and nice room. The double room I booked as just two single beds I ended up having to push together. Room was clean even if a little bit worn in places. No reception either so it is self service check in and out. Well located for what I needed.
P. A.
Very poor sound-proofing in bedrooms - could hear voices quite clearly in adjacent rooms, and people moving around in room above. Lovely restaurant, nice ambience. Very large swimming pool.
A. N.
Love staying at this hotel, the rooms are comfortable, the food is outstanding and the staff are very helpful. Haley on the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay perfect after a tiny blip. Would recommend to everyone!
A. H.
The staff are really friendly especially Molly, she couldn't do enough to ensure our stay went smoothly. The facility are really good however, the swimming area could do with a little tlc but apart from that I will be planning my next stay 👌👌👌 thank you.
T. P.
A nice place to stay, what stopped it getting 5 stars was the shear distance it was from town. Also the bathroom was not completely clean, other than that yeah deserving of 4 stars.
R. F.
The bar prices are quite steep, especially for food, but the club room and facilities were lovely and staff very helpful. Would have been better if there weren't children's swimming lessons and 3 lanes set out for swimming in the pool - didn't have much of a relaxing atmosphere but it is a nice large pool.
G. R.
I recently attended a party night which consisted of a three course meal and entertainment. The drinks were quite pricey and everyone at the bar seemed to give different measures and prices. The original entertainment had been cancelled last minute and a replacement was found but it took a while for the party atmosphere to start.
R. P.
Used the gym. Very clean hotel, friendly and visable staff, good signage within it and welcoming. Information available about what's on / coming up. Gym very clean, as are the changing rooms. Good range of equipment which was easy to use.
S. L.
stayed a night in a last minute decision last week and was really impressed! friendly staff and massive bonus of having an Awesome Starbucks inside too! nice guys in there too!
A. B.
I stay here nearly everytime I come to Newcastle. This hotel is excellent value for money it has everything for me, large rooms, lots of space, good size bathrooms, clean throughout hotel, easy to park, gym, starbucks, great food and drink. Staff and management are always friendly, helpful and go that extra mile.
D. G.
Very nice two day break here overs Christmas.....great food (double chicken breast Hawaiian Burger was fab!), family room, swimming pool, gym and leisurely walk opposite around nature trail. Short drive to Whitley Bay and South Shields. Very relaxing, friendly staff and would recommend.
C. M.
A very large hotel which caters well for groups, and disabled. It is also part of the community with a swimming pool and good sports club. A local bar for those who like company to watch rugby, football. A village it is not but many good facilities and very helpful staff.
S. T.
I love the Village hotels and this didn't dissapoint. Friendly staff and great facilities. Do think that if you stay overnight you shouldn't have to pay for parking but hey ho.
J. E.
Nice food, lovely restaurant
D. R.
Excellent hotel. Large spotless room. Massive tv. Lots of facilities. Plentiful buffet breakfast. Only issue is the location which is a bit out of the way. You need a car to stay here I think. But would definitely stay aggain
N. S.
Only used the leisure facilities here which is well provided and high tech, they could do with a few more weight machines as it seems mostly focused on cardio. The pool is a good size and all of it seems well maintained.
B. R.
Brilliant check staff, very friendly. Clean rooms I've no complaints.
T. P.
Restaurants got amazing food, friendly staff and the pool/gyms are great too.
D. P.
Great bar area with reasonably priced food and drinks. There are multiple TV's with all major sports games aired. Friendly staff however let down by the rowdy clientele that attacked our car on the way home. Kicking the rear door.
P. H.
Have been staying at the Village hotel in Newcastle for several years now whenever we visit this area and would recommend to all friends and family. Smart areas to relax in. Rooms superbly furnished and all the activities you could wish for in the hotel or the local area.
D.
It was ok. We had a good deal on our room, which we used as a base to visit the wider area. Like all Village hotels it was set out to their current template, seemingly aimed at the younger end of the market but it suited us nonetheless. It is located on the edge of a huge business park so a car is a must. Sleep wise it was a mixed bag, night one, our neighbour snored like a jackhammer. Night two, the corridor was full of noisy gobshines who were thoroughly inconsiderate. Stunningly the third night, a Saturday with 2 weddings on was absolutely peaceful. Would be go back, probably, just avoid the restaurants. As an afterthought, breakfast was ok though.
G. K.
I visited the spa today for a pedicure. From checking in to leaving the staff were brilliant! My therapist was Shazia - she was just lovely, putting me at ease, chatting and providing me with a wonderful pedicure. Definitely recommended!!
M. M.
Had a fantastic stay. We booked a family room and what a perfect size. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay again. When we're next in Newcastle.
S. D.
Stayed for nearly 5 months just because it's next to client office out of city. Not great hotel for the price. Stinky carpets. Most rooms have either shower or hot water problem. Exorbitant rates for the mediocre food they serve in the restaurant and bar.
J. R.
Our room was nice and comfortable, although would have been nice to have some hot chocolate included in the drinks. Enjoyed the use of the full length swimming pool.
M. R.
The restaurant was being refurbished, so I can't comment on the food, but the gym and pool are top notch. The staff are great and the bar shows loads of live sport. If you are away on business, you'd struggle to better it
M. H.
This hotel is extremely friendly , checking is very quick . The hotel has a large bar that also serves food till 10pm ,a large and plentiful gym, a 25m swimming pool ,2 jacuzzis, spar, sauna ,an Italian restaurant ,a Starbucks , conference rooms and more . The rooms are big and a be a massive TV with free sky TV and everything else you would expect . The bed was large and roomy and very clean .
Z. S.
Nice hotel situated on the Cobalt business park. Nice view from front of house. Excellent pool and gym facilities and a fair priced bar and restaurant. Corporate rooms and private venues available to hire.
P. W.
Lovely staff and great facilities
K. R.
Great staff and facilities, modern hotel clean and comfortable. Limited menu but food excellent.
P. L.
Everything is ok here for the price paid. Very bizarre signage to the rooms, stand in the corridor and you will find people wondering around trying to find rooms.
Food and bar again is ok although very all portions.
L. E.
Comfortable modern club room with powerful rain shower, very comfortable bed and huge TV with Sky movies and Sports in HD. The pool and facilities are well maintained. This is a very good value hotel that I highly recommend.
k. d.
Fab rooms, nice , large and comfortable. Double bed, sofa and a large TV. My friends also booked the same room but had no sofa. So check when booking. Love the touch of the tasimo coffees chine in the room.
I. L.
Large sports themed bar with multiple large screen Tv's showing major sporting events on both sky sports and BT. With one huge screen with chairs orientated around it. Large selection of pub food and great choice of burgers and flat bread pizzas. Can get very busy on Fridays and weekends but staff handle this well. Good selection of draft and bottled beers as well as spirits on offer
M. M.
Really great to pop in for drinks or to stay
F. M.
Lovely hotel and staff. Food was good, but not sure about restaurants look especially the cafe table cloths. Breakfast was ok - could have a better selection. Overall good stay.
A. R.
Friendly staff, food is good, but limited. Only 1 vegan main dish, but looked appetizing. Room clean and tidy.
A. A.
Overall pretty decent. Booked a table for dinner, could not find our reservation. Eventually got us in. The food was OK and service in the restaurant was OK. The hotel and pool area overall were nice.
M. R.
Had a burger and homemade chips from the Buca Restaurant. Chips were under cooked and the burger bun was soggy (as if it had been prepped on a wet surface). Rooms were as expected, Adequate. Did not use the facilities.
A. T.
Nice stay. Food was ok. Breakfast was also nice.
S. B.
How in the middle of a function does all the beers go off???
T. C.
Rooms OK, but need of redecoration!
C. W.
Really nice hotel. Gym facilities and pool are good. Bar was loud but good atmosphere and they put the basketball on when we asked.
H. B. H.
Nice clean environment. Typical hotel prices in the bar. Plenty of TV screens for watching sport in the bar.
Excellent leisure facilities with a larger than usual pool for a hotel.
S. J.
Very pleasant stay. Staff friendly and helpful and the was room brilliant. I ate in the bar and the food was nice, lovely Pinot Grigio too 😊
B.
We stayed for 3 nights in the double bed club room.
Included with room.
HD smart tv
Full sky package (no adult channels)
Double bed with premium bedding, towls, toiletries and mattress,
Swimming pool and spa included.
Premiem wifi in the room
Tassimo coffee machine
Housekeeping were loverly. Only negitive thing was the drunk people being idiots and tge room was a bit dark even with all the lights on
B. P.
Attended a friends wedding, the venue was lovely and the food served was good, unfortunately one of the toilets are currently out of service which meant a temp set up for the gents on the parking, but otherwise a great evening.
W. S.
Every time I visit this hotel, there are usually at least 4 cars parked in disabled bays without a blue badge. Being too lazy to walk a few extra yards is not a disability. ..it's selfish and unfair on those who genuinely need a a disabled bay. I can see you've now taken action regarding this, but unfortunately it's made little difference to the situation
K. D.
Lovely hotel. Free use of pool, sauna etc with club rooms, as well as free WiFi and Sky HD. Food in the pub is very good and not too expensive. 2nd time staying here, wont be the last!
T. J.
Had a spa overnight stay, be careful as there are a lot of add ons all at £5 each. Spa breaks DO NOT include robe and slippers 🥺
S. M.
A very pleasant stay. Room was clean; facilities good and staff helpful. We explored the local area (on a lovely evening) and found some interesting places.
A. R.
Great place. Friendly and helpful staff. Food is a bit limited. To be honest, a good time was had by all.
A. B.
Check in is self service but all it took was my surname and reference number. No problems following the instructions and there are several terminals to use. On site food is limited to 'Buca di Beppo' which is a bit like Frankie and Bennies or you've got the bar. Opted for Italian and was a fantastic meal. Reasonably priced and decent portions. Rooms have lots of space and very 'airy' and the TV is huge (if you like that sort of thing). Location is close to the Cobalt business park but it is a bit of a distance from Newcastle Town centre.
This would be the only place I stay in when I travel to Newcastle for work.
J. G.
A good location with friendly helpful staff, a great breakfast range and a decent gym/pool and two restaurants serving bar food or Italian.
Meeting spaces seems a little disorganised with spaces shared and people taking coffees from other companies section. Also meeting disrupted by loud bass heavy music from somewhere and so not most professional effect.
I haven't stayed here overnight so can't comment on rooms
B. C.
Just got back really relaxing time here.food and drink fantastic staff friendly helpful and rooms and facilities amazing over all really nice time away with no kids for me and my wife would highly recommend. !!!!
A. J.
The rooms is big, food wa great! But the noise in the corridor was unbearable + i could hear people walking above my room, not sure if it was a concrete or wooden flooring. Kept me awake all night
B. J.
Great hotel. Shame we couldn't stay longer. Pay the extra for the club room. Bus into Newcastle is easy, catch outside. Not sure on decor of restaurant. Will come back
J. S.
Nice clean comfortable rooms. Easy check in and out at a pleasant reception area. Friendly efficient staff. Ample parking .
J. C.
Room is spot on lovely staff
Food is expensive and you don't get a lot for your money
L. P.
First class service and facilities. Staff couldn't do enough.
P.
Just want to say well done and excellent work by staff last night.
I was at the motown night at wallsend last night and an elderly gentlemen clearly had wandered in all confused . Once it became obvious he was possibly missing from somewhere . The staff did everything right safeguarding him and even giving him a Xmas dinner. . Pat on the back to all the staff involved sorry didn't catch staff names but it was the last in grey suit managing the motown night and a blonde member of staff .
J. H.
Myself and my partner went to village hotel for spa treatments.its something we both enjoy and I have to say these were our best yet.my therapist Abby was really friendly and put me at ease.she explained about the treatments and after care.definately recommend.
K. K.
We attended the hotel for a function. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My daughter is a picky eater and the maitre d' tried his best to find her something she would eat!
I. “. D.
Starbucks not staffed correctly only one person working during a time where a rush of customers occurred in a break from a course......
Nothing else to add Jason, surely when a concession like Starbucks is wanting to make money and offerva service, they should be made aware by the hotelvthat there are courses in the building that are not being catered, and therefore need a drink? Only 1 guy serving at 1330hrs with 8 in the queue, this is a poor reflection of both Starbucks (not him) and your hotel.
N. T.
Nice rooms, even if a tiny bit worn in places. No reception to check in, so it's self service. Over all a nice hotel with good facilities.
M. J.
Really friendly helpful staff in a clean hotel that serves great food.looking forward to our next stay
s. t.
On friday 21st july me and i friend arrived for a meal for two and a bottle of wine in which i won as a raffle prize on a charity fun day in which my niece and her partner organised to raise money for The William Syndrome ,. I would just like to say what a lovely meal we had and the table waitress Laura E was fabulous at her job, we would highly recommend and we will definitely be going back again. xxx
L. S.
Just went to the get a coffee and use the WiFi but the bar area was superb. Jealous I don’t have one on my doorstep as I would be watching lots of sport there!
T. H.
Drinks in The Victory bar at the hotel was unexpectedly pleasant. Very good selection of beers and the constant TV sport was bearable. Would go for drinks again.
L. B.
I am a member of the gym / leisure facilities at the village and whilst not the cheapest gym around its facilities are very good with a really large swimming pool and socially it's excellent so if you're able to use the facilities regularly and or looking for good company I would highly recommend this
K. B.
It's the 3rd time I've stayed in a Village Hotel, and I have too say again I was well impressed with Staff, Facilities and the overall ambience of the place. I would certainly stay again, as well as recommending it to others.
P.
Village Hotel is a beauty of a hotel in West Allotment, Newcastle. Beautiful rooms, and great amenities such as a gym/spa and swimming pool. Theres also restaurant that offers great italian food. Lots of parking space
O.
Very nice hotel brilliant staff and facilities including a pool and gym. Good food in a choice of restaurants. Id stay there again as its near to Newcastle.
K. H.
Full of old men with vodka drinking slags
T. L.
I use the conference suite here a lot. It's a great space with excellent facilities. More importantly the staff take excellent care of us.
M. M.
Great rooms. Beautiful surroundings. Very conveniently located near the Business Park. The pub offers great variety. The food could improve a dash though.
h.
Firstly Annie at reception is amazing. Very friendly and professional whilst being aproachable. Nothing was a problem to solve for her or the manager on duty. Excellant customer service to both.
A. D.
Spa was average. Could do with some improvement and modernisation. Also pool area was very cold and jacuzzi was out of order. Spa treatment where brilliant.
m. s.
Lovely hotel, all staff were welcoming and helpful. The facilities were brilliant and easy to use. Food was also great.
N. F.
Rooms are a little dated which resulted in having to out the heating on because of the breeze coming through the window but the room was clean and comfortable
R. Y.
Lovely place!
Had such a great morning including gym and swimming followed by breakfast! A great variety of breakfast choices!!
I would definitely go again! 👌
P. M.
A nice well kept hotel, pleasant staff and comfortable rooms. The only problem was the lift broke down twice and I was on the third floor.
A. D.
Stayed in the Newcastle hotel on Sunday 27th March. I loved the hotel. The food is the restaurant is ace and the staff were super helpful. I've already booked another stay but at a different location.
s. h.
Very comfortable bed and pillows, great shower.
j. b.
We stay here every year and have the club room which is great, ficilitys are top class and the bar is great with nice food also had a breakfast which is worth getting up for.
i.
attended Christmas night with food and disco - serving staff very professional food excellent standard quite a good mix of music genre on disco something for everyone - bar prices a bit higher than normally pay elsewhere but you'd expect that at a hotel and with no competition
s. m.
Easy checkin, lovely room
Swimming pool busy, no suitable free slots today but plenty tomorrow
J. T.
Good hotel little bit run down with being a busy hotel needs a little Tidy up staff great welcome
M. R.
The gym at the Village Hotel is excellent and has a superb spinning class experience with a darkened room, disco lights and incredible beats to give you that drive over the finish line!
a. b.
Lush hotel freindly staff, breakfast was so nice, my husband and don't enjoyed the gym facilities and swimming pool lovely atmosphere
A. S.
Hotel with decent facilities that can be quite convenient if having to work in the area. Rooms are ok, with complimentary coffee machine and Sky. Internet ok for working, but nothing amazing if you plan to stream.
N. R.
Nice rooms. Big pool. Great facilities. Restaurant is OK (but expensive if not using a deal). Breakfast on Saturday morning a bit chaotic.
m. j.

I. M.
Only attended NDORS Training Course through Drivetech so only in ground floor of South end of hotel but on appearance it seemed very clean with generous number of car parking spaces.
D. B.
Great location for where we had a conference but out of town. Nice facilities and great room. Staff were a little short with me on arrival but it was 9.30pm on a sunday
S. Y.
Great facilities, and a nice vibe to the hotel. Good bar and restaurant, and having a Starbucks on site is a big plus as it is quite a way away from everything
M. W.
Good place to go for a night out at one of the
Shows they show ABBA etc nice clean rooms if you stay to the hotel . lovely swimming pool.good bar to watch the football on a large screen.
C. H.
The Village Hotel Newcastle is just outside Newcastle it's self, so would need to get a taxi, bus or car to get to city centre. The hotel itself is what I expected from a 3 star hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful.
S. H.
Good priced accommodation good rooms ( staying in club room ) nice pool and sauna stayed away from the gym. Best part half a mile from our house.
R. B.
Only let down is no air con in the room, everything else including staff was brilliant
B. J.
Good hotel decent breakfast but felt a bit unusually let down by lack of towels provided. Although outside city centre wasn't a problem as easy by car.
P.
Parking a real issue here due to car park always full. Distinct lack of space to sit in reception due to ongoing work to renovate restaurant. Looking forward to when it's all done!
B. B.
I was there on a NEBOSH Diploma course with RRC. The Staff could not have been nicer to us especially Jess and Rebecca who continually went above and beyond to make our experience as pleasant as possible...nothing was too much trouble for them....Thank You!
J. T.
Club room the size of my 2 hotel rooms together in London. Out the way, but beautiful views surrounding areas.
S. J.
Nice hotel, room and staff. Restaurant is quite standard and have preferred to go To another Nice Italian restaurant close to the hotel
D.
Went for Starbucks coffee service was friendly and fast. Card machine often has connection issues so cash is often easier. Standard star bucks coffee.
M. M.
Location good for Newcastle shopping, hotel modern, good value for money and comfy beds. Breakfasts good choices and lovely sausages. This our 2nd visit.
E. W.
A three star, the room that me and my family stayed in was next to a main door, so when people where drunk they where coming through the door and then slamming it shut, this made a very loud noise, however the breakfast was very nice, we also had to wait 10 minutes because the cleaners hadnt cleaned our rooms and check in was 40 minutes before that so i shouldve been cleaned before hand, there was a lovely young lady on reception who helped us, overall it was a very nice stay and the bedroom was very clean!
M. C.
Went to the Village for a Christmas night. The food was nice and well presented. Band were great fun and the staff were excellent. Only downside was the price of drinks.
S. T.
Very nice room with comfy beds and amenities. Disabled ready. On site restaurant wasn't best quality and value for money.
S. T.
4th stay in a few weeks and every room is different but still showing age, last week splash back in shower coming away this week 5 cracked floor tiles. If you're in a car park facing room with Windows open its constant noise from gym users. Maybe hotel user Park near and gym user Park next section back.
n. k.
Nice clean modern hotel with spa. Friendly, polite staff. Will be staying again
F. R.
In an unusual location in a Business Park, but don't let that put you off. Loved the comfy bed and the breakfast. We will definitely be returning.
S. D.
Great hotel. Service was excellent, health spa was great and food was good too. Will certainly stay here again.
A. I.
While there we visited the Quayside and Tynemouth. The Quayside was quite a spectacle, particularly at night with the lights, and Tynemouth station, has been carefully restored/maintained as the magnificent Victorian station it once was. I believe a Sunday market is held here and is worth a visit.
N. T.
V good service and very nice staff, had 2 nights accomadation 1st night quite 2nd night 120 kids and parents turned up absolute mayham but staff where excellent and kept place running smothly and did more than expected ran out of black sheep shame
M. E.
Hotel and facilities really good but rather disappointed by the food quality in their pub (restaurant was closed for refurbishment but not advised of this when booking).
R. M.
Great hotel, facilities are great too. Will definitely visit again. Well worth the upgrade to club room too!
K. W.
Excellent effort to make the bar, restaurant, gym and pool safe. Staff helpful and attentive
C. G.
Really nice staff and rooms, black out curtains were great aswell
J. f. W.
Went for a Wedding, it was a lovely room and the staff were very helpful. Drinks were rather weak especially for the price, thats literally the only flaw.
R. M.
Liked it, food nice, pleasant staff, clean tidy room, lots of sport, booked again for trip up north
C. G.
Very welcoming and friendly staff, great decor makes you feel very comfortable and cosy while it's cold outside. Reasonably priced with great offers on food and drinks
L. S.
Good value on a Sunday but we're always left feeling like there was something better if we parted with more cash. We remained strong!
A. B.
Lovely hotel. High standards all round. Modern hotel with modern hotel rooms. Customers will not leave dissapointed.
A. T.
Well located hotel. Spacious clean comfortable double room. Very popular at the weekend. Restaurants, Bar and a Starbucks on site. Very impressed.
D. W.
Lovely staff. Would have been 5 out of 5 but room needed a slight paint job in places. no spare pillows
J. /.
Cracking staff and lovely rooms. A little bit irritated by the corporate side who were not flexible with booking after elements out of my control required a small change and got charged full whack
G. 8.
Been to this hotel 7 times now and I've loved it each time, rooms are beautiful, services are great and local shops aren't far
R. B. a. B.
Decent grub and the facilitys are well maintained. Often have good deals on their rooms as well that are to a good standard
J. B.
Absolutely fabulous, great entertainment, very comfortable bed, and reasonably priced. Will definitely go again
W. C.
Lovely hotel, great leisure facilities, very friendly and helpful staff, had a few issues with the lift and also keycard problems but staff helped out
A. C.
Stayed one night was very nice the room was finished well and breakfast was good. Also all staff we encountered were very helpful
M. H.
Bit pricey. Nice rooms. Water pressure suffers. Need plug sockets next to beds. Nice breakfast. More for businesa travellers than families.
C. M. S.
Nice place to stay if you are visiting Cobalt for business... I liked the English breakfast they offer generally included in your room bill
T. T.
Had 4 nights here to relax after having the flu, apart from the food in the bar and restaurant being very expensive and over rated, my stay was fantastic, all staff were luvly too, highly recommend..
T. P.
Excellent facilities given an upgrade of room , could do with better lighting in rooms , warm , comfortable , plenty of parking , lovely food
a. f.
Nice hotel modern hotel with pleasant, efficient staff. Only thing lacking is the restaurant which offers a basic menu.Hotel is not local to any other restaurants.
