Definitely my favourite park to visit in Newport. Free car park and absolutely loads to do for the whole family - outdoor exercise equipment, table tennis, chess boards, basketball, BBQs and tennis courts. There is also football and cricket pitches for local sports teams and a lovely cafe. The grounds are really well maintained and have access to walks along the river.

Such a lovely park haven't been here much until recently. Only really called to try out the new cafe which is also lovely. Only downside is parking. .

There are some nice little walks to be found here with a lovely cafe for a coffee and bite to eat after. They have recently added a marquee so you can drink your coffee under cover!

Great little park for everything from walking the dog to having a run. It has it all. The kids park is always tidy when we go and everybody is friendly.

The park is great. The path to Jubilee Park needs to be made good with adequate drainage and surfaced. As it is a mud pond is areas. In on spot it forces you to take a dangerous route around the gate and putting yourself at risk of falling down the banking and sustaining injury.

Great place to excersise or take the kids. It is well kept and has toilets and a food outlet. Car parking free. River ebbw runs on one side of the park.

Lovely place to walk your dog or take your children. Parking, children's play, exercise machines, basket ball, tennis, football pitch and cricket. Café open normally but shut due to covid but little café on main road above ground that many use that's always open

My boys love this park, love building dens in the woods etc, lovely little cafe for a cuppa and a snack. They have been holding a play scheme over the summer holidays and the team are fab with the kids. The gym equipment in the park is in good working order and it's always well kept and clean.

Lovely grounds, play area for children, free tennis and golf. Great for walks, picnics and a great community centre and cricket club house where you can purchase refreshments. Toilets on site which is great if you have children.

Nice grounds. Good place for children to run around. Decent walks along river. There used to be a big bank of Sand Martins here, but sadly they disappeared when the housing estate came along. Limited parking spaces, but not usually too busy.

My husband and I have recently moved to Rogerstone. We walk most days through the welfare grounds to the fields beyond with our two dogs. We feel so lucky to have the welfare grounds on our doorstep. What a wonderful , beautifully maintained facility and seeing the memorial poppies around the ground this morning was truely inspiring. Well done to all involved.

Beautifully kept grounds with modern amenities, ideal for children of all ages, fitness fanatics and walkers of all abilities. There's a little cafe that's open, which is very reasonably priced that offers hot/cold drinks, ices and snacks. My favourite park in the area for river walks and relaxing. It's kept clean and litter free, please respect this and pick up your mess.
