The factory shop sells shoes with minor imperfections at largely reduced prices. They are hand made and of the most amazing quality and design. Also avalable in a range of width fittings as well as sizes. The staff are warm friendly and knowledgeable. But remember they are still going to set you back between £150 & 200. But worth it. I bought these, Amazing. Wife won't let me out on my own again! Thought about the yellow ones but they clash with my eyes!

The best quality shoes. Great prices for "slight seconds". Fed up of £50-£100 shoes from High Street retailers falling apart after months and needing a decent set for an event, I thought I would see what all the fuss was about with a quality hand made pair. I'd heard that a few bargains could be had down at the factory outlet in Earls Barton, so I gave it a try. Super helpful staff. No rush. No big queues. Great choice! My first set of Barkers had a very slight mark on the leather and discounted heavily due to that. I wouldn't have noticed the mark had it not been pointed out by a bright circle sticker. As with all proper leather shoes it takes a while to bed them in. After a few wears they now feel like soft comfy slippers and I get compliments whenever I wear them. I've since been back 3 times and now have a set of high quality and great looking shoes for all occasions. I can tell they will last years. Well worth a trip. You won't be disappointed.

Outstanding service! Loakes should take note. Ordered the wrong size my mistake sent back and within 5 days they had received my returns and sent out the replacement! Also the shoes I purchased before the Black Friday sale went down and they refunded me the difference which I didn’t even ask for! If you want quality shoes and excellent customer services this is the place.

Went with no expectations and I was pleasantly surprised. There was a great selection of shoes set out in sizes and widths. There was a section for slight imperfections and another for discontinued stock. The staff were fantastic, especially a young lady who couldn't do enough to help, she went out to the stock room to check for other styles and sizes. Have to say this same young lady opened a packet of biscuits for my 2 year old daughter who was becoming a little restless. Bought a pair of shoes and will certainly be returning to buy more. Great value. Thank you.

As Branch Manager of Timpson show repairs at the Arena shopping park in Coventry, I repair a lot of Barker shoes they are just sheer quality. A pair of Barker shoes if looked after properly, will last you ten times compared to Clark's shoes or any other high volume, high street shops. Barkers are an English company well established in the heart of British shoe making, Northampton. It is always a pleasure when a pair of well loved Barker shoes come to my shop to be repaired .Highly recommended!

I visited Barker shoes in Elarls Barton to see what was on offer as I was in the market for some quality shoes for work. I had been to a local department store and new what shoes I wanted. The Barker shoe store has a huge range of shoes available that are mostly either end of line or have imperfections and I was amazed that the same pair of shoes that I had looked at elsewhere were available at half the price. They were listed as imperfect but still now I can’t see where. The staff in the shop were friendly and new what they were talking about. I won’t be going anywhere else for shoes in the future.

This was my first visit to Barker Shoes. It is a lovely shop with some great bargains with upto 70% off for seconds. One young lady was really helpful. But the others gave more of an impression that they did not want to be there, perhaps it was just the end of the week blues. Nevertheless, great quality and a definite place for future shopping.

Really patient lady, did a good job of coping with my daughter and her pickiness choosing MY shoes. Was a good chance though to show her where her gran sat seeing the uppers many years ago. Still the best shoes for me, and always will be.

So far the best experience among the shoe manufacturer outlets in the Northampton area. Big selection of their shoes at reasonable prices, besides they are reliably open unlike some other shoe manufacturer outlets in the region, which have erratic opening times. The two ladys working in the store were very helpful. I plan on going there again :)

Good place to find a pair of shoes which is made in the UK, shame that my luggage is running out of space or else I should get another pair as well. You can find a great deal for the imperfects and discontinued models with a price of a pair of made in India shoes, also they have plenty of styles available as well.
