Reviews of Wroxham Barns
C. W.
Such a fantastic family day out. There was so much to see and the price of entry to the barns also included entry to the funfair at the back. No extra charges to play crazy golf or to go on the rides. We all had a great day out and I would highly recommend! The indoor play was great for little ones and there were changing facilities.
S. H.
Great value and perfect for 2 to 9 year olds. Can easily spend all day there. Our 11 and 13 year old liked the mini golf and water fights but not an all day thing for that age. Could have done with a few more Ice cream stalls but you could get some ice creams from the cafe as you come in.
K. J.
Fantastic day out and great value. Lots to see and do. If you go now there is a great maze and sunflower fields. In the autumn a pumpkin patch!
Looking forward to going again soon.

Great experience on a day out with kids.
Although we had our slot at 11.30am, we were happily let in at 11am as we reached early. We were there particularly for the pumpkin fest. Besides that, we enjoyed hen, goat and sheep feeding as well as in pony grooming. Also spent considerable time in kids play areas and pumpkin carving. We checked out at 4.30pm and it was perfect. I believe 4-5 hrs is the most decent time one can plan with kids, considering the lunch duration as well.

Lovely array of independent shops, selling local produce from, cheeses, cider, clothing, ceramics, confectionery, painting and craft works. Also on site there is a junior farm and fun park to keep the little ones entertained, with two cafes selling hot and cold food and drinks.
D. O.
Lovely day spent here during Easter half term. Both my teen and toddler were kept happy and entertained. My teen particularly enjoyed feeding the goats whereas my toddler particularly enjoyed petting the chicks and going on the rides. I would say the rides are quite dated and would be great if there were more of them but we all had a fantastic day. It's been so many years since I've been but will come more often now.
C. D.
Loved the baby goats so cute, and there are a lot of new things put in place which we all enjoyed. It was great to have the chance of seeing the guinea pigs up close.
T. S.
Love this place so much and also I may add so does the little one. Plenty do to petting animals also feeding them and a play park for hours of fun. It's definitely worth a day out and my advise pay extra and get the wrist band.
M. H.
We recently visited for a Glamping weekend in one of the new Bell tents. What an amazing experience. The children (3/5/9) all had a wonderful time. Highly recommended for any family wanting to try out camping without having to buy a load of kit upfront.
Exclusive use of the fun park and junior farm outside of normal hours is a welcome addition.
A whole range of activities were scheduled too from getting the animals ready for bed to feeding them breakfast in the morning to a circus skills workshop and evening performance.
The new maize maze, foam party and sunflower meadow are really nice new additions for this summer as well.
We're already looking to go back again for campin next year!
P. G.
Car park not clearly marked for disabled access or policed properly. Small units on the whole mostly craft based. Confectionary shop disappointing. Didn't stay for lunch.
I. N.
Great place to visit. A good selection of shops. Two cafes. Some of the shops are quite expensive. But a good range none the less.
H. P.
Had a last minute idea to go there with my 3yo and I'm so glad I did. We arrived at about 1pm and didn't leave until everything was closed (5pm). She didn't get bored at all with all the animals, the potato picking, eating at the coffee shop and her favourite, the unlimited rides included in the price 😊
Will go back again for the pumpkins soon
C. C.
Brilliant experience, we loved the fact you could go in and out of the farm as many times as you like throughout the day. The rides were also a lovely addition to the day. Food was slightly pricey but general admission was very reasonable. We even got to handle the small animals and saw some baby piglets! Excellent!
E.
Lovely day out for families with younger children (under 10s). Lots to climb, jump on and ride on as well as seeing the animals and enjoying something from the selection of light bites at the cafe. Shops better for the older folk, with a stained glass specialist, art gallery, fudge shop and wooden engraved gifts.
Toilets were overflowing and in a terrible state, but in fairness, a caretaker did come and remedy within the hour.
Special thumbs up to Lawrence on the rides who made it his mission to ensure every customer had a good time and felt unique. Excellent customer service (cropped as he was a bit shy about having his photo on the review, but he truly deserves recognition from the management).
Lots of engaging activities like mini golf, building bears and water fights to take part in and overall just in the bracket of priced ok. Any more expensive and it would be overpriced, especially now there is no annual season ticket to be purchased.
J. S.
Spent a lovely day here on our holidays, my grandson loved it, plenty to do from the little farm to indoor play area, fairground rides and shops and a couple of places to eat, thoroughly enjoyed and recommend
D. H.
Great for younger children as the rides are for tots really - all can enjoy the farm park and golf though. The shops are great for a peak into and there's everything from soap to cider to purchase. Lovely fudge too! Plenty of benches and the cafe was great - they don't serve chips but the pizza twist was nice and I hear they may well be doing a chip van next year! Additional summer activities looked fun such as foam parties and the maize.
T. F.
Very good place to visit. Very good for kids to play and see animals. Highly recommend.
S. S.
Great Experience, Very Polite and friendly staff members. Animals to Feed, Play Area for kids and Rides, Gift shops and Main reason for visiting was Pumpkin Picking and they carve it for you 🙂
A. T. M.
Absolutely stunning. Shops were quirky but somewhat expensive. Food was nice and a little over priced. Disabled toilet with no key needed.
S.
Amazing place to visit! The animal section is brilliant for little ones the staff are great and really knowledgeable. Not sure there would be much for kids over 7 maybe but for smaller ones will love it and get a whole day out of it. The cafe on site has lots of options and the staff are great. The little shops are wonderful to walk round and have lots of products all from local people and businesses. Parking is free the park is free too. Highly recommend 👌
J. S.
We had a great time here! The animals are clearly well cared for, and it's nice to be able to feed and pet them. The rides had queues, but that's to be expected and we didn't have to wait long. We had the cream tea for lunch. Everyone was nice in the cafe apart from one woman who was incredibly rude, but we didn't let her spoil our day!
S. D.
Perfect for toddlers. My four year old loved it. Plenty of little rides, crazy golf, soft play and petting zoo definitely kept him entertained. Would come back if l was in the area.
D. W.
There's such a variety of things to do. There's plenty of places to sit if you take your own picnic. The shops, workshops and cafes are all individual and unique. The summer pass was good value for money too.
K. G.
Quaint little place, gorgeous food in the cafe, lots of beautiful hand made goods
W. S.
Love it great shops love the woodworking shop great gifts. My daughter loved the vintage clothing shop she got 2 lovely dresses. Cafe wasn't bad either didn't go into farm and play area but look good.
D. F.
Good fun for the family, but not so much for older children. Lots of places to sit and eat. Did not have to wait very long for children to get on rides. The form party was good fun. Ideal place to take a packed lunch, as food and drinks are expensive.
C. M.
Nice place to visit lots for children, I loved the lady bs vintage dress shop, friendly, helpful staff made me and my friend feel special x
J. C.
Great play park with water fights massive blowup cushions to bounce on.👍 Great ciders and juices. As we were there for a day with friends and family whom were having a holiday they gave us wrist bands to get on rides. One nice add on is their service. We ordered some food to come to our tent and the food was great 👍all except the flies and wasps were everywhere👎. They have foam party's Which were great, professional circus, a time that you can play with circus toys👍. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it didn't target all ages and the rides were creaky and looked unsafe 👎but the train and crazy golf were great 👍
M. f.
Great day out, especially for young children.
The cost is very reasonable.
You get access to the animals plus this now includes the fun park.
Highly recommend visiting if in Norfolk with small children
J. L.
We went with my great niece, who is 10 years old and she loved it. She said she would give it 500 stars! I think that says it all. Her favourite was the bouncy pillows but she also loved feeding all the animals and playing golf. A great experience.
T. M.
We brought two nephews under 5 and everyone, adults included, had a great time. We enjoyed the mini golf, and bouncing on the inflatable hills in the outdoor plY area, feeding the goats and saying hello to the alpacas in the petting zoo. We particularly enjoyed stroking the rabbits and running around in the soft play area. The adults bought some gin and the boys got some fudge, though only one of these treats survived the drive home... Fantastic day out!
E. H.
As delightful as so much of it was, there were a few details that spoiled the experience for us. I will start with the positive, which is that they actually had decent vegan options. We were able to enjoy an ice cream and a light lunch. My only comment would be that the burger was very dry and could have done with some chips for the price!
As somebody with qualifications and experience with animals myself, I sadly have to say that there is a significant lack of stimulation for the animals and many of them were clearly stressed by the loud children. The enclosures could have been more spacious and enriching.
Other than making some small improvements their kitchen and focusing on higher standards of animal welfare, the overall experience was enjoyable and the children had a good time in the play areas.
C. K.
Our grandson had a b'day party there, so our daughter-in-law asked if we D like to stay.Have a look round. Some lovely shops, unusual stuff. Got a lovely "Robin" lamp-in-a-bottle. Unfortunately they only had 1 or I would've bought another another couple as Xmas presents. Lovely few hrs(&in the cafe for a lovely hot choc & scone!
H. L.
Had a day out with my daughter and a friend and her grandchildren. I think its a good venue but overall compared to other farm attractions in Norfolk its slightly more expensive and I'm not sure it's value for money. Also I would love to see the chickens having more room, they look quite hen pecked and tired. The attraction overall is good and the effort on the park is great but just not sure if its value for money for a family day out, that said the kids loved it and had a great time in the farm area feeding the animals.
N. S.
We had an amazing day here. Enjoyed the fun fair, animals, café and shops, pumpkin carving, making portions with the witch for which we got certificates. Were lucky to meet the big mama pig with her cute piglets. What a wonderful day we had.
J. M.
Went for he Christmas weekend event
7 year old loved it. Meeting santa, making a wreath, decorating gingerbread, elf hats, what's not to like?
Staff do a great job of making it special for the kids.
Small point, the "greedy goat" drink outlet is aptly named. Overly priced.
T. W.
We had an amazing day out with our grandson Riley. The staff were so friendly, and the facilities were OK. The animals seemed well looked after, which is the main thing for me. A perfect family day out. In this weather, wear wellies!!
K. S.
Although I purchased a very lovely dress from Lady B Loves, vintage clothing shop, this isn't quite what I was expecting from this place. Plenty of gifts to choose from, some very nice artisan pieces, glasswork, paintings, handmade knitted or crocheted items, places to eat, there was something missing.....some rustic authenticity maybe. Only my opinion. Go and see for yourself.
J. B.
This place is like a little village, there's plenty to do and see.one price for entry and everything else included. But you don't have to pay to look around the shops. Its the animal farm and rides that are included in the price. A great place for the kids, fantastic choice of food and drink and you can come and go as you please all day long. FANTASTIC!!!
J. D.
Went for a festive shopping evening. Was really nice, great atmosphere and nice selection of shops. Little expensive but it's worth paying more for quality, local products. Definitely going back
L. L.
I came to only visit the junior farm, and it was a welcome activity for the fun park to be included in the ticket price. I was last here at the farm a few years ago, and I know things were different because of Covid, but I was expecting to be able to have an opportunity to feed a lamb or at least hold a Guinea Pig or Rabbit. But no. I bought a bag of animal food, but the goats and sheep weren't interested. So I was disappointed with the animal experience because of my expectations. But the fun fair was good, the staff were all very good and we did have a good day. So I will come back but not while the restrictions are in place. I was not able to visit any of the shops / outlets, so can't comment on them, but they were open.

First time camping at Wroxham Barns. Wow what an experience, really well organised, value for money and the kids where never bored. Foam party, great fun. Lovely maze, beautiful sunflower field. Then there's feeding the farm animals and fun park.
A must do camping experience
J. K.
We booked camping for 2 nights in the Bell Tent. We had to leave a review due to the hosts. They are naturally friendly and welcoming. Nothing was to much trouble and they entertained our little one with games, feeding the animals, nature hunts and foam party. Did not expect all that. It would not have been the same experience without them .. well done Wroxham Barns. Just so the Hosts get credits we camped 26.27th 08 22.
Thank you !
H. J.
Lots of lovely crafty shops. The scones and cream and jam in the cafe were delicious. The button lady was fantastic. And the art shop did wonderful cards.
L. P.
My husband found this place, since we are on holiday near by, and what a great place, from start, there is lot of parking, and as you soon you walk in the vibe was great, and super cozy. The Gentleman who gave us our bracelets was super nice and gave us a very warm welcome, the staff was overall attentive and very helpful, such a lovely day. Yes the frozen pizza was not the best, but the hot chocolate was very yummy and perfect on a cold day, the lady was very patient while the kids changed the order a couple of times.
Very lovely day, and definitely gone above and beyond to create a nice day for the families in these uncertain times.
k.
Great place to visit. Spent the afternoon here. Disabled access and carpark. Easy to move around. Tearooms for afternoon tea. Dinner, lunch.
Farm park and adventure park for your children to see and touch and feed the animals. And the park great for climbing running around etc to get rid of some of that extra energy
A. W.
Beautiful little visitor centre with lots of small independent gift shops and craft places. You can see the artists at work. Loads of parking and lots for kids to do.
C. S.
I spent a few days here camping and it was great fun, perfect for families with children aged 2-10, lots to do and campers get exclusive after hours access aswell as exclusive activities, its well worth the money. Will definitely go back, all the staff where amazing too very polite and very helpful.
R. B.
I've been going wroxham barns for 18 years. The farm is lovely and the kids enjoy the shops, amusements and normally the cafe.sadly this time it took 25 minutes for our drinks and the service was terrible. The other shops were fantastic.
A. S.
Classic car event on added to the visit. The shops that were open were interesting but quite a few seemed closed.
I recommend the fabric shop and deli.
S. L.
A lovely day out on Friday 5th August. We purchased a membership so look forward to returning. A big well done to the lovely lady (didn't catch her name) who done her first pig talk, I understand a couple of people were moaning to her saying that said she spoke to quickly. But myself, partner and Stepdaughter thought she done a really good job! Interesting facts about the pigs that the children took interest in from watching. She was also very chatty and showed us the goat and her kid's,Telling us interesting facts about the animal. She was also very good at organising the Rabbit petting.
We enjoyed the fun park aswell. Not too much queuing at all. Only really disappointing thing was the seating area at the back, Dirty table's and food all over the floors. Would be ideal if staff were regularly cleaning the area making it a nice place to eat lunch while looking out to the park.
D. M.
Arrived for half 10 as booked for then 2 adults and our 14 month old, not really busy when we arrived, managed to get on all rides with no wating and cleaned down after each ride, saw all the animals with no waiting, social distancing adhered at all times by everyone visiting, very relaxed and enjoyable day out.
M. B.
A lovely little shopping location with independent shops selling handmade crafts, sweets, jewellery etc. Nice little tearoom. If you're vegan be sure to arrive early to nab the vegan sausage rolls before they sell out.
R. S.
Farm experience brilliant all staff friendly plenty for youngsters to do .. grandson loved it .. "Glamping" not so much .. just a bell tent with ground sheet ..advertised double bed and three singles .. reality double bed and three single mattresses on floor ..really awkward if any mobility problems .beyond basic and right at bottom of comparable glamping . the campers in their own tents were far better equipped .. cooking and bar b q were barred due to dry weather which was understandable but really limiting .. worth it for farm park but use your own camping stuff
L. J.
We visited on a very wet day, they have thought out the one way systems very well for covid and there is plenty of sanitiser and the coffee shop as you go in is spaced out so well. We had a nice time, the shops are lovely and it's great that they let dogs into most of it.
I was really put off by a huge group that had obviously booked separately but drove in and came in together. No-one questioned them, not even when they had lots of kids lined up with their wheelbarrows taking photos (in an area that we had to wait to be let into so was, or should have been, somewhat controlled) and a huge crowd of parents/family. I appreciate there is no way of knowing this would happen beforehand but there was 4 or 5 staff in the pumpkin area that said nothing.
Was also disappointed that most of the pumpkins were already rotten (like I say we did go on a very wet day, the pumpkins are outside and we carved our pumpkins in the afternoon so I'm sure that didn't help) and needless to say, the pumpkins that we took home only lasted 2 days. Not really worth the money in my opinion :-(
R. H.
A friendly horse and donkey sanctuary living on donations. Redwings Sanctuary is set in a lovely countryside setting of Norfolk. The staff are extremely friendly and make you feel welcome whether donating or not.
D. M.
Fills a couple of hours and the kids enjoyed it. Typical animals, soft play and decent little funfair round the back.
M. M.
Good place to visit to show toddlers farm animals. Went on Sunday afternoon, yesterday was £6.50 per adult, bought 2 bags of feed for goat and hens - not busy at all. Left to it, no crowding which made it very pleasant. Saw lots of lambs, goats are a bit greedy as they nipped my husband bum (!) and ripped the bag of feed! Some of the animals weren't bothered but daughter enjoyed herslef, was scared at first but did come round to look at the smaller animals.
n. c.
nice small farm animals selection and petting is possible. children really enjoyed it and they also have a small soft play area. ideal age range I would say 2-6yrs. quaint shopping area for handmade and local wares. restaurant there does an excellent roast on a Sunday. I would eat there again gladly.
M. W.
We are so glad we stopped off for a visit to the barns. It was a ridiculously hot day so thankfully there was air conditioning in the cafe. There was a host of lovely craft shops, homemade fudge, glass works and pats wooden crafts, plus children's rides, farm animals and so much more.
R. B.
Fantastic day out with our grandson. Easy parking, lovely individual shops, workshops, excellent restaurant and cafe, a children's farm and play facilities that our grandson adored. It's a definite must visit again.
T. G.
Great family place to go. Especially with the new fun rides area. Very safe with social distancing and one way systems.
K. D.
Really nice place to visit, with some lovely little shops. Parking is free, which is an added bonus.
W. M.
Went for Pumpkin festival. Time there enjoyed and lots todo. Sadly it rain while we where picking pumpkins and finding our way around the maze
m.
Nice local attraction that is suitable for all ages. Craft and souvenir shops, farm animals and good cafe. Took our 3 year old son to see santa and the reindeer. He graduated from elf school and got to meet the big man and his reindeer. Staff were great. Enjoyed nice sausage rolls, coffee and mince pies before we left.
T. F.
Brilliant small farm where you can get up close with the animals. Small indoor play area and lots of shops and places for food and drink. They have a small outdoor fair with about 10 rides. Inside the fair you can purchase a card for £11 or £22 which you hand to ride operator. All rides are £1 so it's great value.
s.
Wroxham Barns is a great place to visit. There's stuff for the kids to do and lovely shopping for the adults. The pop up shop is a brilliant idea meaning there's a different company trading each week which is a wonderful for local businesses. It's a shame the Barns only offer 1 pop up shop at the moment, small business need help during these bad times too. Would recommend a visit here
c. t.
Great place to bring the kids and see the farm animals up close and be able to interact with them. It can get a tad expensive but if you live locally the season tickets are very good value.
G. D.
Great location, once a wrist band is purchased the little one's can go into the farm or on the ride's as many times as they like. Dog friendly in the café or outside, undercover or in the open, where you can order good value food by means of an app. In the barn's there are a number of independent shop's selling different products. We spent much longer than we intended to. Excellent value!
H. G.
A dull January day, my in-laws and I decided to take my son here at the last minute. I'd been before years ago but never with my child and had never visited the farm/petting zoo. Amazing, as my little one was under 2 he was free to get in and we had one of the best days we've ever had. He thoroughly enjoyed himself and so did we. Also, the indoor play area was one of the best I've seen and was a lovely way to spend half an hour before we headed back to the car. Thank you
J. S.
If you have a chance go to wroxham barns there are little shops and if you have chance visit the animals there is a entry fee but you can go in and out during the day. You can have a chance to feed the sheep and goats and also the poultry and birds. During the day you can have a chance to feed the lambs, cuddle and feed the small animals like the rabbits and Guinea pigs.
K.
Lovely day out. We were lucky to witness 2 lambs being born during the lambs talk. Amazing! Looking forward to returning when my baby will be bigger to explore the fun fair 😊
G. G.
Nice place to explore and good children a play area.
v. w.
Nice little farm , with lamb feeding sessions and animal information talks . Can come and go with your wristbands so you can explore the shop and have lunch and play in between the sessions you wish to visit x
R. S.
Great little place to visit. Season ticket worth it.
S. C.
lovely little farm my little girl loved it getting to feed the animals and learn more about them was a cold windy day so not all the rides were available but was still a lovely day
N. G.
A fab little collection of unique craft shops and galleries, with a lovely deli and cafe. Playground looks fun as does the petting zoo.
C. B.
Lovely place to spend an hour or so, great vintage style clothing shop. Girls really helpful and friendly. Dogs welcome in most of the shops and cafe but not food outlets or the restaurant, understandably.
D. F.
Lovely little Farm, Funpark, shops and cafe/restaurant location just outside Wroxham. Ideal for an afternoon out with the kids. Rides are only really suitable for children from 3-4 up to 8-9 years old.
I. J.
Definitely worth a visit. Something for everyone.
M. R.
Must admit, I wasn't massively impressed with this place when I visited with my partner on our holiday. It was very empty, not much open, and barely any visitors. I would assume that it would be busier at different times of the year, but this particular visit wasn't very inviting.
T. J.
Had nice little lunch at cafe and looked round gift shops bought some Christmas gifts nice afternoon 👍
A.
It’s good for a day out with family but particularly young children. But probably best enjoyed on days other than school holidays or Easter holiday, as we discovered today. My children particularly enjoy feeding the lambs in the junior farm.
A. T.
A good place for a family day out kids will love the Barn and the adventure park. There is water balloon fight adults and kids the park. Easily can spend few hours at this.
O. M.
So lovely, only a few art and craft shops but interesting, and different things to buy.
Has a playground for children as well.
S. M.
Have visited wroxham barns befor lovely little shops selling handmade fudges..ciders cakes nice place for children with a play area worth a visit
L. P.
It's a great place to bring the children, feeding the animals plus the play area, and shop's plus restaurant for the grown ups
H. E.
Really lovely shops from craft shops to deli shop
The lady in the sewing shop was really helpful and friendly
The kids farm and play area i found a bit confusing when it came to the wrist band as i didnt see any signage when i entered from the car park, it was alot easier when you could just buy tokens for the rides u wanted to go on.
L. N.
Me and my friend went today , very good atmosphere , animals where so cute , the goats did like to take our food bags tho 😂
S. A.
Worth a visit especially if you have young children as there is a lovely play park great place to buy cider and the apple cider vinegar is the best by far
C. R.
Nice place to visit and plenty of interesting and arty things but disappointed that they no longer sell cakes made from free range eggs. I can't believe it. Like they sold their soul to the devil.
S. H.
A lovely place to visit for all ages. Lots of variety of things to look at & do, Inc. Crafts, jewellery, pottery, art, food & drink, confectionery etc. Also a farm experience for the whole family!
F. R.
Good place for young children, has some craft shops & a large gift shop in addition to the Kids Stuff.
O. R.
Great for the bambino's and if you pay 19. 99 you get unltd visits over the summer hols and 10% off food!
F. R.
Very geared to children's activities, so if you are accompanied by youngsters well worth it.
K. H.
Enjoyed pottering round the units that were open and made a few purchases .Would certainly make a return visit if in the area.
P. W.
Great place to buy gifts. Just a shame the girl in the cider shop couldn't put her phone down while she served us.
J. W.
Never fails to put on a good day/event for the whole family! There Christmas experience was one of the best we have ever been to!
D. H.
Plenty of craft work to see,a gallery and gift shops. A play area for children. But what I loved was a 50's shop of dresses, skirts, tops, net underskirts, belts and even children's dresses. Loved looking around the shop and even purchased some stuff. A return visit is definitely on the cards.
d. g.
Very impressed with this place. I thought that the cost was most reasonable for what was on offer. The grandchildren had a great time feeding goats etc. and grooming the ponies.
All the family enjoyed the crazy golf, we had plenty of time (some of needed it as we had big scores).
The snacks available are good and there is a covered section where food can be enjoyed. There are the usual craft shops which I thought were good value, especially the one selling wooden items.
The staff at this place are very friendly and helpful and great with children.
a.
A little treasure trove of craft type shops with a lovely cafe/restaurant serving really nice food at very decent prices. I have seen other comments about some difficulty with wheelchair access, we found that disabled parking and wheelchair access were fine. This place won't suit everyone so check out their website and see if it has what might interest you, the quality is fine.
K. R.
Great place to take kids. Bit small but good for a couple of hours visit and the softplay area is great
J. S.
Great place for children to see animals. Tickets must be bought in advance, but the queue to get in was very slow moving. Advise you bring food for children...we had booked a table for food and it took over an hour to get our order in and for it to be delivered to the table.
R. L.
Good fun, lots of activities and not much queues on the day we went (term time week day) so kids got to go on everything. Food in cafe mediocre and high priced. Spent 2-3hrs happily here. Enjoyable occasional treat
p. w.
Very fun place to visit. Plenty for kids to do, both in terms of play, and fun, and the craft shops are excellent for us oldies to browse. Especially the book shop, the cider shop, and stained glass place. Only down side is the cafes are a touch pricey for food on offer. Though it was one of the nicer pasties that I've had in my life!
C. C.
Lots of lovely little shops and placed to eat but sadly most are not open monday which was the day we chose to go.
It certainly will be worth a 2nd attempt but suggest a quick phone call first.
The places which were open ie cider shop, ice cream shop stain glassware and others were very nice.
J. A.
Boys are here for the Norfolk cider!
M. W.
We went round with the dog. Visited the fudge shop near the entrance. Upon entry we offered free samples which enticed us to buy it was good to know that the dog was allowed and well worth the visit just for the fudge shop alone.
Just to let you know thats dogs are allowed in most outlets and signs are on most doors.
R. J.
I had a Cream Tea and Latte. Absolutely lovely and so reasonably priced. Lots of seating, inside and out. Would highly recommend
M. E.
Very nice place to visit lots to do and buy and children loved it especially the animals and play area
J. C.
Very pleasant place to visit. Plenty of parking and great for children , lots of food places and generous amount of seating around the whole area. Craft and interesting shops.
T. R.
Lots for everyone. Craft shops, tea room, ice creams and rides for the kids, worth a visit if you have a couple of hours to kill
A. D.
Great selection of boutique shops and galleries. Restaurant has good range of really tasty food and drinks. Burger has to be best I ever had! Little hard to get around with wheelchair due to gravel and some shops very small.
N. M.
I only visited the shops, so can not rate whole site. Nice stop if your passing. Shop staff very friendly and welcomed dogs. I enjoyed browsing the various shops.
M. L.
Great place to take the children, you have to pay for an all day pass to see the farm animals but was worth it. Interesting shops for gifts. Food is expensive so suggest taking your own.
P. S.
Lovely place to visit for a browse around the shops and bite to eat. Lots of talented artisans to visit and see at work.
T. M.
very friendly craftspeople, interesting things to buy. Lunch was good value and hearty. Dog friendly
R. C.

C. H.
Great place various things to see but the best was the Coastal Stained GlassArt.Great to meet the maker and his love of his work is for all to see. Collecting stained glass for years and think these are by far the best I have.A
T. B.
This place has awesome little farm yeard full of friendly fellas.. Great for taking children to introduce them to animals close up...
M. C.
Looks like it could be a nice place but sadly most of the shop’s were closed when we visited today so couldn’t really get a proper feel for what it’s really like
The shop’s we did manage to find open we are nice and friendly and very welcoming
T. D.
Fun place for kids and adults alike, can be expensive but you get alot for your money.
Giving 4 stars because of food prices.
A. G.
Excellent place for parents and grandparents, to watch kids enjoying themselves. Super amenities.
G. H.
A nice place to kill a few hours shopping, craft stores, artisan wares, funfair for kids, etc. Ample parking

Fantastic place to spend a day with your family. So many things to do for all ages.
T. C.
Beautiful little place, very friendly knowledgeable people in all the little shops, , definately recommend going here...
T. C.
It was very quiet here today, being Monday probably a lot of the shops were closed, however enjoyed lunch in the restaurant, coffee was very good, my husband had a burger and myself a ploughman's which was very nice, good plateful including a warm bread roll.
It's always a clean and tidy place to visit with several interesting shops and petting zoo.
F. D. R.
We were there from 11 to closing time. Busy all the time. Loads to do. Really well laid out. Great fun for our 11 year old as well as adults. Plenty of awww factor with lambs and animals and a massive ahhhh for the fab afternoon tea.
J. C.
Lovely place to visit, well kept buildings and facilities, very friendly staff, dog friendly and lots of lovely little independent and local shops and a lovely cafe with variety, rather than just your standard plain old stuff you can get anywhere. Definitely worth a visit, a little disappointed we had little ones and couldn't go in the outdoor play area as it is only open on certain days but it looks great, so maybe next time we are in the area we'll try that again, but definitely worth a visit to the sweet shop!
S. B.
Brilliant place to visit, well laid out, lots for the kids to do, nice cafe and shops, active farm area where you can see, and sometimes feed the animals. Great day out!
A. W.
Great place, good food but quite expensive.
R. S.
Just a very nice place to visit, free parking and entry
D. J.
Some nice little shops and a cafe unfortunately we went a little early in the season so quite a few weren't open yet but looks like a kids farm /petting zoo amongst others not ready, worth a visit
P. P.
Brilliant tourism place nice shops all owed by ROY. lol lovely place shall be going back again xx
A. F.
Excellent place to take young children. Staff really helpful and friendly. So much to keep the little ones amused, we had a wonderful day. They loved feeding the animals, meeting the small animals up close, the baby piglets and then soft play, roundabouts, water bomb catapults and the big inflatable pillow to jump on. The build a bear activity was brilliant and they had so much time and patience with the girls. We did try the cafe which was good value and there was also lots of space to have your own picnic. The only problem we had was we didn't fit everything into our day so we will need to go back soon.
A. E.
Sadly, not many units open. The few that were open were lovely but it all seems a bit run down. Hopefully summer will help it pick up. Been coming here on our return from Norfolk holidays for years and I think it needs some investment to bring it back to what it was.
P. J. W.
Good afternoon with animals feeding them and great for the kids to get nice and close to them well worth the money my grandson who turned one on the 1 Sept and my daughter who is 15 liked it just as much feeding the lambs..
m. M.
Nice place to spend a hour . Several nice bespoke shops and z great Norfolk cider shop
a. b.
Great all-rounder for the kids. Good hands on with the animals. Decent shops for the parents and then the rides and park like stuff as well.
B. P.
Nice little craft shops / galleries
The" New ice cream kiosk "not really that great very limited choice
J. C.
I loved this place there was so much to do and it was so much fun and a really good price
K. S.
Great cafe, nice staff, nice atmosphere.
K. D.
Great for younger children and adults. Nice day out. Places to eat or for afternoon tea coffee. Gift shops, cider shop, farm, children's activities.
C. G.
Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Wroxham Barns. Plenty for all ages. Easy to find and plenty of parking and also dog friendly. We took advantage of everything on site and made a fun filled day out for all. Our favourite part was the Junior Barn followed closely by the FOOLHARDY Circus on site. The shops were all very lovely especially the sweet shop where we purchased the most amazing handmade fudge! Will definitely come back!
K. H.
Great to visit, the shopping is great. There's loads for the children to do including a farm, soft play, mini golf and a small fairground. Recommend it highly
D. B.
Lovely day out! Lots to do and see and really good Value for money. Looking forward to going back.
K. W.
Fantastic, great for kids, good value, highly recommended. Everyone so helpful.
R.
Fantastic place to keep the kid occupied for a few hours. A variety of activities and at a reasonable price too
M. H.
A popular place for tourists, quite a few self contained shop of crafts, spirits and cafes
w. c.
Although not everything was open was a nice place for buying alsorts of craft items. Cheeses and wines
M. M.
Lovely eating area friendly staff, service very good unfortunately my jacket potato was brown in the middle it was change with no fuss but it was replaced with a warm jacket.
P. P.
Very nice place for children especially the under 9's. Can be a lovely few hours spent there. The only disappointment for us was the prices in the cafes and the shops. Obviously you expect to pay a little more but we felt that it was a little extortionate . Maybe better to take a picnic if money is a little tight.
P. F.
A lovely array of shops to browse. Some were rather pricey though!
M. K.
Thought the junior farm was over priced just to see half dozen sheep and goats. Thankfully I had a discount voucher. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the unicorn weekend though
R. w.
Had a lovely day out with my family really nice staff and would definitely go again.
I. E. (.
Loved Wroxam barns as there was so much to see especially the vintage clothes as I'm into rock n roll, just found stairs a bit hard as I have a hip problem.
S.
Disappointed, been a few times over the years and enjoyed going. We such a price hike I thought and was led to believe we was getting more for the money but as it turned out far less. Hardly any rides still showing the best ride they ever had small roller coaster on website. Far less animal's. After a long wait for food at cafe very expensive for what was there, and to make matters worse the staff acted like they didn't want you there. Could off done something far better for the £100 spent in all for 3 adults 1 child and a child under two won't be rushing back.
A. B.
Great fun for family holidays. Something for everyone- farm animals/ rides /mini golf. Located 10 min drive from Wroxham. Plenty of parking
K. S.
Some really nice artisan craft shops and galleries, worth a visit if you are planning to visit Wroxham too
A. L.
So much on offer! Lovely shops selling a wide variety of goods. I love them all! Wonderful children's farm to visit and they do loads of other stuff like afternoon tea, camping, firework evenings and more.. The place has a really lovely feel about it.
A. G.
A great family day out. The junior farm is great for the kids and they love feeding the animals. Animal talks are really informative. Great eateries but equally lots of space to eat your own. Finally the fun park is great for kids of all ages. Crazy golf is ace!
J. B.
A great day out for our 18 month old. Soft play area was perfect for him, the junior farm was well kitted out, animals and ride on toy tractors, and he loved the guinea pigs and rabbits. The craft shops were a nice addition and we didn't even make it to the fun fair the other side! More to see next time.
D. H.
Varied craft shops got some very nice things you can do some of the things nice cafes
a. t.
Great day out for the whole family. The foam party was great fun for the children.
D. C.
Great opportunity for Christmas shopping in a friendly and atmospheric environment!
R. S.
Good cafe near loos. Red Thai curry was really nice. Lots of gifts, but expensive.
m. l.
A few craft shops and food offers, probably good if you are taking kids with a playground
G. A.
Check out the lil nooks of shops and pop ups!! Fantastic how they are supporting independant small business'.
Also LadyBLoves has opened a second shop here .A boutique of vintage inspired dresses and lots of cute quirky everyday tops and more!! A fabulous selection!!! Upstairs in the main gift shop!!!
lots of the shops may look shut but they are open! As it's chilly this time of year the doors are shut some days. Like a lot of shops do nowadays.
Just Go have a nosey!!!
There is something for both kids and adults.
Even if it's a quick catch up over a cupper and cake with a friend or family in the cafe.(there's free parking to visit w.barns) You only pay for the farm and funfair/events..which remember that helps to feed and care for the animals!!!
Who can resist squeeky guinea pigs, lil lambs, and cheeky goats!!! I can't wait to hear more about the upand coming events and I'm so happy they do Camping now in the summer!!!
This place has lots of memories old and new for me!!!
It might not be to everyone's taste, but I love it!!!
S. S.
Few shops were empty but all in all a worthy trip out
N. S.
I opened a shop here 21st May 2022.
The site offers a good selection of shops and as a family attraction it is excellent.
T. W.
We always enjoy our trip to wroxham barns very friendly first class service and some very nice shops
M. J.
Had a lovely day ..so much fun see you next year for Halloween !
J. S.
Nice day out with the kids. Plenty to do to keep them busy. Reasonably priced. Food was a bit pricey and not to much choice. Lots of nice little shops to look round. Would recommend
S. K.
The children loved this place. The staff are all helpful, the animals are well looked after and seem friendly and the food is fantastic. They can even do good gluten free options.
s. h.
Great place to spend time cider shop is fantastic
N. P.
Shops, cafe, small petting farm and a play zone. The grandchildren had a lovely day.
P. R.
Stayed just outside Wroxham, but great place to visit
K. S.
Excellent first ever weekend camping at Wroxham Barns despite the rain. Staff very friendly, helpful and always smiling and couldnt do enough for you. New shared facilities were a welcome addition and kept spotless all day every day. Kids (3, 8 & 12) loved the farm, adventure playground and circus workshop and being able to help put the animals down to bed before their own bedtimes. Will definitely be back next year even with the roosters early wake up calls every day :)
I. D. V.
Nice and good day out.... Animals.... Play area... Shops... Amusement Park... Rides...
J. M.
Good for the kids, but overpriced for what you get compared to a few yeas ago. Most of the little independent shops are friendly and good to look around.
a. a.
Expensive for what it is! However it's ok for an outing it doesn't take long to get around it but a few things to do!
J. B.
Great shops, particularly the stained glass man🙂 loved this place quirky small traders support them if you can 👍🌻🍄🌼
L. S.
The shops ,Lady B, plus the gem shop us all the others. Cafe too. Staff in all shops friendly smiling people.
D. C.
Great find! Good coffee and great selection of cakes. The shopping experience was wonderful. Various crafts to buy as well as some being made whilst I watched. Good morning or afternoon visit..
R. “. R. F.
Interesting little shops, cafes and attractions for children.
R. C.
A pleasant place to wander around, wasn't busy, not all bits were open when we visited (this was things for children)
K. P.
A really lovely gem in the heart of Norfolk. It has a small kids play area, an area where you can feed and pet different types of animals, and a number of local businesses selling - and making - their wares on site.
The play area is primarily geared towards kids 7 and below, however there is a 'big kids' bouncy pillow along with a water balloon 'shooter', where you get to fire water balloons at loving members of your family. There is also an 18 hole mini golf course which is great fun!
The animals are situated around the back, in their own area, where you'll find llamas, pigs, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits, shetland ponies to name but a few. They even have events where you stroke and meet the animals which is a great plus.
No matter if you go for the kids, or to get something for the garden, you won't be disappointed. Plus, the ice-cream tastes fantastic!!
a. m.
Small shopping area with some interesting retro ladies clothing.
D. P.
Excellent value. The animals were easy to view and feed some. The fun rides for toddlers and young children were brilliant. Didn't want to leave at close time.
J. W.
We had intended to visit on the Saturday but had a breakdown. We called and asked if we could transfer the visit over to the Sunday and this was done with no problem. Excellent service and highly recommend the venue for a great day out. No problem was unsolvable. Great team work all round.
M. L.
Advertised as open until 5pm, but many of the outlets had already closed by 4pm.
J. B.
Father Xmas family show was brilliant. Well worth the money. Really got me in the Xmas spirit. Fun for the whole family.
J. H.
Lovely to see the animals.
Food and drink ridiculously expensive though.
F. S.
Fantastic fun for all the family. We will definitely be back.
G. O.
Really nice place to visit with young children . My granddaughter aged 6 loved it .
M. C.
Brilliant place to visit. Easy to book tickets. We love coming here with our 18month old. Very easy to navigate and plenty for them to see and read (for that age group). The restaurant has great food whenever we have been previously as well as other lovely shops too. We took our daughter in some of the rides too which is included in the price and she loved every moment.
Thankyou to the staff.
M. H.
A great day out, very organised and efficient covid procedures. We felt very safe and the kids really enjoyed the farm but got lots of value in the fun fair. They particularly enjoyed throwing the water balloons. A good covered area for a picnic to help keep the cost of the day out down.
E. L.
Lovely place to visit for a day out and a browse. Great mix of shops, plenty of parking and food facilities such as cafe and toilets on site.
P. B.
Soapamistic home Bath beauty shop lovly smells great very helpful thank you
J. H.
Living locally you often dont go to all the tourist hot spots especially during the height of the season. So our visit was to see what it was like now
This venue has been upgraded and is very different from what it used to be.
There is a wonderful deli which is certainly a reason to visit the barns, which is why we will be recomending to all our cheese loving friends !
A. C.
Brilliant. The children had the best time. Lovely day out. Nice selection of animals to see. Great rides and attractions. Nice hot chocolate. What more could you ask for.
M. T.
Was fun seeing the animals on the farm. Bought some Norfolk cider to take home for the evening.
K. O.
Lovely day out, very dog friendly. Bought a wonderful gift from the glass workshop. The cafés could benefit from a few more veggie options (and a deep fat fryer).
T. T.
A regular haunt of ours but this time, we felt that it had changed. It has obviously become a lot more commercialised and maybe lost a little bit of its small and friendly atmosphere? This is not meant as a criticism but simply an observation? Nothing stays the same (though some of the original shops are still there and seem to be thriving!) and it probably now just appeals to a slightly different clientele than us? I hope it does will as it is an asset to the area.
C. F.
One of my favourite places, a couple of hours well spent wandering around the little boutique style shops, bought some lovely crystal jewellery, some art and of course some yummy fudge 😋
M. L.
The camping here is really good and the hosts make it a very happy break so friendly and helpful. The food options are very limited but it's not far to surrounding outlets and some deliver. There are quite a few craft shops brewing and glassmaking.. All sorts.
C. H.
Beware Mondays lots of the shops are closed! Not as good as previous visits.
G. C.
Great place to visit lots of great shops loved the vintage clothes and wonderful sewing shop with a wonderful range of materials
K. E.
Nice experience as always. It was lovely to see the animals are well looked after and it wasn't crowded with plenty of cleaning stations. The fun fair was included in the price this time as the indoor play area can't be open, which my little girl preferred and I felt it was better for the money 😁
L. a. E. “. W.
Plenty of animals to see. The lovely made it most enjoyable for children and grown ups.
C. T.
Great experience especially for younger children, additional extras like feeding animals and food and drink plus a funfair are a great shout. Very good for a day of family entertainment. The price is very small for what it is
J. I.
A superb selection of craft outlets.
A. J.
Lovely staff! Attended the pumpkin festival and it was good, especially for kids. The fun park could do with better rides or more fun activities but other than that it's nice. Animals are well kept and from what I saw, they're also very well fed.
C. P.
It was ok bit on the small side so you can do most things in a couple of hours.
B. j.
Nice little shopping complex with kiddies farm and play area
R. M.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Feed the spring lambs and inhale the hot chocolate.
m. g.
Lovely day spent with the family here, quaint shops
C. P.
Expensive but quite a few kid friendly activities.
K. R.
Great place for a gift which is a little different.
S. S.
We used the shops as the barns where closed today. However we visited alot when my son was younger and always had very enjoyable days ☺
D. M.
Great day out for the kids. Enjoyed feeding the lambs! Definitely buy the fudge from the confectionary shop... 🤤
N. L.
Cute trip out. Farm animals and rides for the younger ones
M. A.
Some great little shops here. The cider shop is well worth a visit. Some nice little gift shops too. Great play area for kids. It's all dog friendly outside. Ours enjoyed a cream scone at the cafe there
J. G.
Sadly we went out of season and so the only attraction we wanted to visit (the play area) was shut. Thankfully the cafe was open so we could enjoy a lovely hot chocolate and piece of cake.
J. H.
Farm great for kids, nice array of local shops too.
C.
Such a great day out for all ages! The animals section is brilliantly set out and they all seem to be very well cared for. Lots of information and there seems to be lots of activities for young ones.
Good range of shops and selection of local products. We liked the penny arcade too :)
A. C.
Interesting collection of arts and craft outlets, if that's your thing.
Not undercover so difficult in the rain as we found out, but still worth a visit if you need something to occupy a couple of hours.
L. G.
Just loved the individual shops
t.
Great visit with or without children. Artisan cheeses, jam, deli. Lots for kids to do, hand made crafts, tons of free parking.
R. W.
Quiet but very nice and had a good talk with the owner who sells sweets and fudge
J. B.
We brought entry to the kids farm and play area. It was ok there are about half a dozen rides all aimed at smaller children, it wasn't too busy they were wiping down between each ride, however at £50 for four of us it felt expensive.
A. S.
Good gifts but some outlets were not open
V. M.
The barns was lovely.,but the apple, cider shop was so rude. A few yrs ago I went here got apple juice for the children. I didn't this time like I wanted to but I wasn't going to give him my money.
S. K.
My kids love this little place. Amazing value for money getting to use farm and fun fair included in your ticket price! No hidden extras. All round great day out
J. S.
Had a really lovely day here with my brother and our kids. The parking is free. Food in restaurant was really good, just a bit pricey especially for the kids portions. The craft shops were good and the kids were allowed to have a go at some crafts themselves.
S. H.
Great place for families. My daughter loved all the animals! Slightly pricey at over £7 per adult but you get a wrist band and can go in and out all day. There are also fairground rides there but they are generally £1 per fide, so that can all add up.
P. H.
A great day out with some nice shops. Ideal for all ages.
S. P.
We had the best time was amazing never been to a farm or barn lyk dis 1 had so much fun kids fed the goats n birds lovely animals there was also rides and Restaurant clean toilets and lots of friendly and lovely people. We went to the arts n crafts shop my daughter was very inspired by the creation she loves creativity so lovely place all in 1 superb.
L. L.
Compared to the pay as you go system from last year not as impressed. Paid £35 for rides and farm which is overpriced for what you actually get. Farm a little lacking and takes approximately 30 mins to go round. Good hygiene procedures in place though.
The rides are for younger children which was prefect for our child but any child over 7 would be bored.
The go karts, mini golf and water wars were enjoyed greatly
We stopped for ice cream at the end and we paid £2.50 for the smallest scoop!!!! Very Tasty but tiny.
H. K.
Kids loved it. Wouldnt keep you entertained for the whole day. You can do all the rides in 30 minutes and some activities with the animals. Reasonably priced imo.
w. n.
Great day for kids and parents. Good value fir money
J. S.
Great for kids but just a little for people without them. Had a great lunch ew bought from the deli and were able to sit outside and eat it. 😋
C. T.
We visited today following their reopening of the farm and fun park together. My 7 year old loved it! We felt very safe and were really impressed with how the staff have managed all the new alterations due to covid. Rides were cleaned after each turn and you were asked to hand sanitise before going on any rides. We spent the whole day there and it is great that you can go between the farm and fun park as much as you wish, good value for money too!
D. H.
Such a lovely day out. My little boy had so much fun on the rides and seeing the animals. Was nice to see social distancing guidelines in place and the staff cleaning everything everytime the rides were used.
F.
Lovely gift shops, the gallery had some refreshing work displayed, the nursery had beautiful healthy plants at reasonable prices. If you have children it can be an all day adventure, but as adults, we managed just over an hour. Enjoy!
M. C.
Good Coffee and homemade Victoria Sponge ...
J. W.
Nice to visit to all the different craft outlets very good for children.
A. c.
Nice place shame same price child adult oap
R. C.
Nice little place with some great little shops
C. S.
A beautiful place to see some lovely hand made crafts.
N. B.
Great place for kids. It's £6.50 per person to access the animals and soft play area. There is a carnival area that's free to access but you pay using tokens. The kids love the little train. Nice restaurant and shops. It's a bit 'rustic' in places but it adds to the character of the place
j. h.
It's a nice day out, mostly for younger kids. The rides are very basic. It really suits up to 8 year olds. The petting zoo however was great. The animals were very well looked after and there we lots of opportunity for interaction. Food is basic but good, the cafe does a good potatoe. The marketing maybe oversell it but it's still a nice few hours, especially if your kids love petting animals
G. L.
Not so good if visiting without children.
S.
Lovely day out. Nice food to
C. E.
Place is geared up for children, had a really good vintage clothing section
P. C.
This is a hidden gem where local crafts can be seen and bought locally. I was surprised by very low footfall, some units were closed and eats limited. Otherwise a worthwhile trip.
r.
Very pleasant. Had afternoon tea at the Courtyard Cafe and loved it. Worth a visit for all the little shops.
R. M.
Wroxham barns was quite quiet for a lunch time. The food was good it was the week after half term so no children but several young babies.
M. O.
A lovely visit to the farm but unfortunately our granddaughter was not too keen on the animals. A great chance for children to get close to animals and a nice little play area too. Plenty to see for the adults too with little craft shops selling various items.
h.
Lovely day out for the family. Plenty of things to climb & ride for the kids all included in the price. Though bring a packed lunch, cafés are a tad pricey 😉.
M. E. B.
Lovely little place for the kids. Plenty to entertain them for a few hours. The rides are great for small children and there are friendly animals to pet and feed. The restaurant food was pretty terrible and overpriced but the staff were nice and friendly.
R. H.
A variety of small independent shops. Clothes shop deceptively spacious. No entrance fee unless visiting the farm. Worth a visit but we didn't find enough to detain us very long here, especially as the weather was poor. Cafe offerings not very exciting.
A.
Great little craft shops and food stalls
S. W.
Popped in on a wet and dreary day. We had a nice time browsing and enjoying coffee and cake while waiting for the fairground to open. The staff did their best to dry the rides off as soon as the rain stopped which was great. Great place to visit for a few hours
k. k.
Lovely family orientated place with a plethora of things to see and do and a great selection of stores to chose from. I'd recommend it to anyone!
D. Y.
Visited late morning with my grand daughter. Was a bit dubious at first about the cost, but in the end it proved a most enjoyable day, the attractions are ideal got the under 10's. The restricted numbers because of Covid procedures meant there was little waiting to get on a ride. The mini zoo was fun too. It was closing time before we left.
H. S.
Nice timetable for interactive talks on the junior farm. It's small and well formed but it is smaller than I expected. Whilst it is family friendly I wouldn't trust the little ones in the shops as quite small so take a team mate to be able to take advantage of them and the whole place feels 50/50 shop to farm. Also the footpaths around are gravel and so, whilst in theory buggy friendly, it's a mission to push your way around so think similar would be for wheel chairs. Not impossible but definitely put me off going round more than once. The cafe has a nice selection of good quality food but in half term only two people were working behind the till at prime lunch hour so the queue was horrific so maybe grab your sandwiches outside of peak time to eat.
S. L.
A long wait for a table in the restaurant but the food was really lovely. The fool Hardy circus was brilliant, would definitely recommend. The shops are OK, not very 'local' which is a shame, except for the pottery and stained glass which is fab. Animal farm is lovely for small kids if a tad expensive. A great summer day out with young kids, or for a stroll round and coffee with friends.
S. H.
Nice place to visit, particularly if the weather is nice as there are rides, play things and a junior farm. Entry is free with additional costs for rides/farm. There's a nice soft play area inside the farm for young children. Cafe and restaurant are also nice and there are a few small, independent shops with crafts and gifts.
K. L.
My familes absolute favourite place to visit!
The staff are always so friendly and accommodating to everything you need, the safety measures they have in place for covid also works very well and you always feel safe and protected, the events they put on are always thoroughly enjoyed by us all and excellent value for money. I would also like to give a special mention to Ben who was so wonderful to my daughter who got stung today and made sure he put a smile back on her face.
I Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a fun family day out.
N. S.
Fun for all day or just a few hours lot of shop from fabrics to food
T. R.
We had spree vouchers for food in the restaurant and one free admission to the farm - I think without these we would have found the day as a whole expensive given we were only there two and a half hours! Admittedly our son is too small to properly appreciate the facilities and when he's older and able to feed the animals and use the play barn, I would definitely go back for a whole afternoon or possibly the day. The food in the restaurant is okay, cheap and cheerful! I love the fudge shop and have been there several times!! It's very child friendly and enjoyable, only quibble was the amount it would have cost without the vouchers but if you have older kids you would get better value for money!

Got here around 10.30am and some stores will still closed till around 11am! Not very big, the advert for this place made it look like a mini mall / shopping centre. But around half dozen shops with gift ideas and garden shop which was closing due to retirement. The fun fair for the children is just a few rides. Nice and clean, most shops allow dogs, but just not what I was expecting
S. B.
Always worth a visit ....small garden center with plants and gifts for garden and home. Various craft outlets and cafe and restaurant. Missed out on popping into the small farm as still online booking only . But that gives a reason to go back .
R. M.
Not a very wheelchair friendly place, some of the shops are quite small make moving around them hard. Although some of the owners were very helpful. The farm is very over prices I feel and not very friendly atmosphere sadly. The restaurant has nice coffee and food and is accessible. Some of the barn shop is accessible although some things are very £££ Way too much shingle to get round the garden centre part my wheelchair just couldn't move.

Very popular with young families to visit the farm animals and attractions. Lovely craft shops of various mediums together with sweets, cider and farm produce shops. A good morning's trip out
C. C.
Regular visitors with our little one, really good day out. Social distancing and cleanliness/hygiene taken seriously. Not just paying lip service to like some venues.
Good value

Had a great day here there is lots to do with variety of shops from food to arts and crafts. There is also a nice farm to look round which our 2 year old loved seeing pig, goats and alpacas to name a few of the animals. Only 4 start as the luch in the cafe was not the best and a little over priced for what it was.
L. C.
Lovely little attraction, good value for money, only thing that let's it down are the toilets - bit smelly and cubicles far, far too small
C. A.
Great place to visit. Reasonably priced restaurant with vegan and gluten free options. Lots of things for children to do and see (junior farm, rides, crafts). Lovely little shops and all staff are friendly. We come back to visit for a day out every few months or so!
L. D.
Had a great time here today with my 14 month old boy. There was just enough to keep him intrigued by the animals, he then enjoyed the soft play area, and loved having a go on the train and quad bikes with his daddy. The other rides were a bit old for him, but we will definitely return over the next few years as he grows older.
Only criticism is that it was 7 quid each to get in the farm which seemed a little over priced for what there is. I did enjoy feeding the lambs though.
Everywhere was clean and tidy, and staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.
S.
The shops are good as is the park area and the little rides and bouncy castle etc for the kids (which you have to pay separately for) It's lovely for the kids to cuddle chicks and guinea pigs and to feed the pigs, goats and horses etc but do feel it's overpriced. The indoor play area is good but small. Only really suitable for toddlers.
J. B.
Lots of lovely little shops selling all sorts. Fun fair area for the kids was expensive. Cafe wasn't the cleanest and didn't have a huge selection to choose from, but functional. Nice ice-cream.
G. G.
Unfortunately this place did not live up to my expectations! Late in the season when we visited!! ... fair enough but some of the retail outlets were closing down or had permanently closed down including a large female clothing outlet.! Personally, I would give it a couple of years to see if has 'recovered!'
G. G.
Ok for a couple of hours. Got about a dozen retail outlets. A small kids farm with plenty of activities going on.And a fairground costing £11 for tokens for rides get about six rides for this. Small kids playground.lot of local produce checkout my favourites the sweet shop and cider selling shop. To name just two.

Nice couple of hours. Farm has well cared for animals and kids loved feeding them however I think the chickens are the most well fed chickens around as had so much food available from people they were not interested at all. Great to bottle feed the lambs and nice to have warm hand washing facility's. Great selection of shops. We didn't so the golf this time but will next time.
J. S. P.
Nice family afternoon out. We had our children's party there, was very pleasant, kids all got to give lambs milk and hold various animals. There's soft play and various craft shops to look round.
A. B.
The site has been updated with more childrens' activities. The farm is interesting and well supported.
Good value. Our family loved it.
R. T.
Been here a few times with my family. It's a good little place to visit. If you visit around lambing season, there's the extra bonus of bottle feeding the lambs (which my girls love), loads of goats n pigs and birds to see and feed, and if the weather is bad, there's a little soft play area too, although it gets a bit crowded during the school hols.
S. A. S.
A jolly good time out. So this place has farm animals you can feed and pet. The soft play is small is but more than sufficient with a range of climbing and ball pools etc. The cafe/restaurant on site is not the cheapest for adult meals yet reasonable for children's and a good selection. Today there was craft out in other sections so we made sand art in a take home bottle (small cost) and took part in a few circus skills. Today I felt they went extra mile with free mince pies and mulled wine. In the summer there are small fair rides to go on for children. I've visited here quite a few times. It's not cheap however it makes for a nice day out and I would recommend. The restaurant can get busy so be warned. Definately worth 4 to 5 stars
B. D. S.
Very good
R. W.
We had a lovely lunch in the restaurant and bought some Norfolk apple juice from one of the little shops. The restaurant is newly refurbished, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. A really lovely place for a spot of lunch. Child friendly. Dogs are allowed in the other cafe near the entrance.
A. G.
Nice place to pop in to for a few hours. Shops selling a good range of locally made products, from food, beers (huge selection), ciders and more local arts and crafts items as well. A cafe and restaurant on site along with a small farm animal section where kids can get to check out a variety of animals on display. Decent flower shop too.
J. B.
Having visited 9 times over the summer holidays it's safe to say that Wroxham Barns produces a fun filled morning or afternoon. Great work on combining the fun fair with the farm.
P. J.
Good place for both children and adults one price to do all fair ground rides and to see, feed and touch the animals plus craft shops and places to eat.
M. B.
Great little gift shopping Village for all the family. Cafe, gifts and also a small petting zoo for the children as well as some kiddies rides. Worth a visit before or after a boat trip on Wroxham Broad.
R. L.
The kids really like it here thanks to the soft play area and the park, as well as the animal petting area which is great (staff at the animal area are fantastic). Food wise, value for money is not great. Best not to eat in the cafe if you're looking for decent food at a reasonable cost. The food is okay but the price you pay does not match what you actually get, which is average fare. That aside, Wroxham Barns is a family favourite and other than the cost of food I plan on being a regular visitor.
J. B.
My favourite place in the whole of Norfolk! Restaurant food is incredible and I love the independent crafts shops that surround it. Great place for a day with the kids, coffee with the grandparents or even a cute date :)
A. C.
A lovely place but always over crowded during the farm activities such as feeding the lambs and holding guinea pigs and rabbits. They're so crowded you can't get in the door to even watch and this kids miss out. The amusements are never manned and the machines don't work properly. But the food in the main restaurant is lovely.
L. G.
Wonderful place for tiny ones to meet and feed farm animals. If it's the right time of year, there are lovely baby lambs that the children can feed. It has a couple of indoor play areas, one with soft play and the other with ride on tractors. Probably most suitable for children under 6
A. E.
Took my mum who uses a wheelchair. It wasn't easy pushing her as there are pebbles and no smooth paths for wheelchair users. My mum enjoyed seeing the animals.
N. M.
Great fish pie and sliced ham from the deli
D. F.
Nice shops and good café. Little farm for kids at £6.50 per person, but you can go in and out all day and there is lots going on. There is also a show at £6 per head. Under 2's are free for the farm and show. Craft shops, gallery, garden centre etc. Crazy golf. Plenty of opportunities to spend money. Clean toilets and good car parking. Great place for family day out.
A. L.
love there's stuff to do all through the day, rides are a £1 each which is a very responsible price compared to places like a fair. love it's outdoor fun and indoor fun for kiddies.
staff are sooooo lovely - especially the gentle man in the cider store. great you can try produce in the shops.
B. M.
A very interesting place to spend the afternoon
S. G.
Looked like a very lovely place to visit. Not many of the shops were open, the chap in the woodcraft shop was really lovely and helpful, would recommend and would go back.
l. s.
Lovely place. Quirky shops
S. M.
Full of lovely bits and Bob's to see and buy. Play area looked great but due to covid you have to plan and book in advance. Very clean and lots of hand sanitizer.
O. R.
An ok trip. A bit small for the prices but does have everything for a half day visit. Lots of people made it hard to feed lambs and walked around everything with the kids in about an hour. Indoor play area was good for its size. I would sum the place up as a great introduction to agriculture for children.
M. B.
Always a great place to go to, both for shopping and eating. Good fun for kids also.
G. S.
We went to the Christmas meet Santa experience and both my children were so happy and it honestly was the best thing we have been to involving Christmas. My children are both under the ages of 4. I can’t wait to take them back next year. It was our first year going and we travelled an hour and a half to get there. Well worth it .
k. w.
Some lovely independent businesses here and a perfect day out for the family to see and feed the animals.
F. L.
Had a great time with my four year old granddaughter looking around the animal section an to going on the rides which nanny could go on with her too ,she loved going up an down on the aeroplane
A. C.
Our boys had a great time there. Especially petting the Alpacas and sheep. However it is a bit over priced in comparison similar places elsewhere.
M. k.
Good parking and the restaurant serves good food with friendly staff. Love the hand made fudge shop as well. The rest of the shops are overpriced in my opinion especially the farm shop with their meat etc. We have a farm shop in our village selling home produced meat that is far superior and even though dearer than a normal butchers seems like a discount store compared to the prices here. My opinion only. Probably very nice meat but I can't justify paying those prices.

Last year I went to Wroxham Barns for the first time, I thought it was wonderful. I came back yesterday and although most of the shops were still there they seemed lacking, in some of them there was very little produce. I have to say that the clothing shop was as well stocked as I remember with all sorts of other things to purchase such as china/pottery with country and animal themes as well as a fab selection of cards/writing paper and gave up waiting for someone to take our pudding order, I love my puds so you can kind of guess how long we waited before giving up. To be fair to them they did give us 10% off for the wait. I will come back again but probably not until next year.
S. K.
Great place for younger children. Nice selection of small querky shops selling items from cheese, paintings, plants, stained glass, sewing shop and the list goes on. Couple of places for eating. Clean toilets. Ample car parking.
E. P.
We went for Father Christmas and Elf Training. Would definitely recommend. Kids were well entertained with games and a craft activity, and no waiting around in a queue. Best Father Christmas in Norfolk and the elves did a great job too. Also the gifts were decent.
G. B.
Great food and gorgeous environs. First time I have been served not just what I asked for but exactly what I ideally imagined it could be. Staff always helpful, could not have enjoyed myself more
M. F.
Enjoyed our few hours here. We ate in the cafe which was nice although a large queue to get served(to be expected in summer holidays) kids loved the rides parents liked the shops. We didn't go in the farm.
A. S.
Great place with variety of things to do. Lots of little animals to feed and nice staff. The price of stuff is not reasonable. Crazy golf is £9 For 2. You can get 18 holes in twilight season for not much more. It's another attraction that feeds on the modern coffee drinking lower middle class 4x4 driving mum.
A. C.
We didn't know we had to pre book when we arrived my husband, grandson and myself. Only 2 could go in as the 2 girls in kiosk said they could only allow 2 people in which I think was terrible myself and grandson went in my husband had to wait for us! Yet a lady spoke to me and said they just walked in!! Will not be going there again. We couldn't let our grandson down by not going in so we decided to do what we did!!
S. E.
Okay crafty, tourist-friendly, outdoorsy kind of place with playground and fair for junior school aged kids plus a small farm with animals youngish kids can feed. Teens may find it too childish but those who've got into early adulthood may have got over that and be happy as they were aged eight or nine feeding the lambs and goats.
S. H.
Nice attraction and free to walk around. The junior farm is nice and there's a soft play area for toddlers (there's a charge for the farm for over twos). Nice cafe and restaurant and some swings and small rides open in summer.
J. A.
Hello, a friend and I visited Wroxham Barns for Coffee on Wednesday, just managed to get a table before a coach load arrived. It was lovely coffee and a wonderful atmosphere. Friendly staff as well
C. D.
Ok for the shoppers and kids not my thing
S. _.
Nice free couple of hours browsing. Lots of car parking & hype but not really a great deal to do or see. A few expensive art & craft shops & an ordinary cafe offering simple meals. Gets quite busy with a little kids corner.
J. R.
Sadly shop I wanted to see has shut down but there are plenty of other speciality shops to explore including art, food and drink, garden shop. Staff all very helpful, social distancing etc is well organised. Worth a visit, plenty of parking.
B. C.
Love the shops and the on-site cafe
k. a.
Good parking, garden centre free. Very friendly people and if you like craft places it's a good place for a couple of hours visit with many different crafts to see and some you can have a go yourself. Good for kids too.
A. C.
Perfect for a family day out. Suitable for all ages. Friendly staff and loads of fun, arts and crafts, rides and animal feeding. Take a picnic or eat on site. Enjoy the surroundings in Wroxham too. Grab an ice cream and sit on the Norfolk Broads
L. C.
A nice find. A variety of little craft shops with a small restaurant. There is a play area with bouncy activities for the children and access to a petting zoo although there is a cost of £7.99 for the children.
K. P.
Good range of craft shops/workshops, and gift shopping available. There are also decent quality places to eat and refresh yourself, before you resume your shopping. For youngsters, there is an area of entertainment, which includes fairground rides. The parking is free.
S. Q.
Wonderful place my 6 year old Grandson loved all the animals and being able to stroke and feed them we had lunch in the cafe and he spent time on the rides and soft play we had a fabulous day 😊
J. F.
Love this place. We're fortunate enough to live a few miles from Wroxham Barns. The obvious is the fairground rides, yep, for the little ones but so enjoyable to see them ride things like "The Badass Caterpillar" as my kids have fondly named him. A crazy ride, amongst other really great attractions. A lovely petting zoo with seasonal chances to feed lambs and get up close with all sorts of animals. The shops are bespoke and tempting, really lovely selection from food to crafts and there's the restaurants and ice cream..... Just go visit, see for yourself, great staff, lovely place.
S. C.
Super place with some wonderful artists of different trades. Wonderful few hours to visit and if you have children lots for them to do
M. H.
After a few barns & children's area not a lot too do.
C. G. (. L. T. D.
Never fails to be an excellent day out. I imagine for older children it is a little small but for my 2&4 year olds its perfect. So much to do there is a imaginary play area with ride ons and kitchen area to play in. Also a soft play and plenty of animals to see and stroke. Also plenty of animal feeding and interacting time.
L. M.
Very nice set up, good range of craft shops. My dog loved the doggy frozen Yoghurt and I was able to get diabetic sweets from the same shop. Good wheelchair access to most areas.
R. Y.
Lovely place to spend the day, the farm has a lot on through out the day grooming horses bottle feeding lambs and calves collecting your own chicken eggs that you can buy for 20p, feeding the goats and sheep there's also a craft area, handling some of the animals like chickens and rabbits. There's also a cafe and a restaurant, a funfair (small one) Nd there's also stuff for adults garden centre, pottery, a woodwork shop which has some STUNNING stuff ! Definitely worth going to !
C. W.
Great place but can work out a bit expensive. We went with our daughter, son in-law and 2 grandchildren. You have to pay for all the attractions. So although entry is free nothing else is. Add the cost of lunch to the petting zoo, the circus ( Summer holidays only), arcade and rides for 4 adults and 2 children and it ends up being a VERY expensive day out.
A.
Light lunch, a coffee and a cake was perfectĺy acceptable. It's a while since I've been, but it hasn't changed much. A small selection of craft shops, local food and drink outlets, and animals & playground for the kids.
J. D.
Plenty for children to do and places to run but some the shops are now looking a bit shabby and the cafes look really in need of an uplift. Ice-cream stall so slow that people were walking away. Golf lovely. Free parking, just needs a bit of a lift and a bit of a tidy up and repair.
M. G.
Not all of the park was open due to Covid. We went thinking we could go in the petting area but it wasn't opening those areas 'till the following Saturday. I would hope they are now fully open.
E. A.
We came to visit yesterday 17/7/21 and as always it was a delightful visit. We are excited to know what the lovely wooden build is that you are building around the trees.Isit a climbing area or something? We loved the fun park as it wasn't open when we came last year.Highly recommend a visit by everyone.Only thing I would say is the play area where the picnic area with swings and mini slide is could do with updating X
S. G.
Out of season and wet so not all craft shops open. Cafe is good. The animal petting and children's play area seem to do well with pre school children, mums, and grandparents
T. B.
I love looking around the barns. It's a great way to while away a few hours. Places to eat, kids play area and of course the barns to look around.
C. S.
Lots of things to do for all the family, rides for the children, animal farm where you can feed the animals and have fun, places to eat and drink with lots of small independent shops with unique gifts/items, well worth a visit, will keep the whole family entertained
C. W.
Great day out with the children. Very reasonable price to enter the farm and bag of feed is only 55p! Lots of other independent handmade shops here for the adults and grandparents to enjoy as well.
B. M.
This is always a good place to visit especially if you have children, there is a petting zoo plus children's rides sweet and fudge shop plus many other craft shops.
