I came to Adam after months of confusion about an injury I had suffered on my hamstring. I had been to a couple of physiotherapists in the past but hadn’t had any success. I was so confused at why the injury wasn’t healing by itself that I’d convinced myself that there was something entirely different wrong with me and it was a really stressful time as I’m a yoga teacher and therefore my muscle health is imperative to my work. Adam immediately cleared the confusion and pin pointed exactly what the problem was. He gave me a clear explanation about what was happening and why, and he then gave me a (very simple to stick to) healing plan. He gave me the tools and insight i needed in order to heal the injury. During our appointments Adam wasn’t just mechanically going through the motions, it was really clear how passionate he is about what he does. I could tell that he treated my case as a completely individual case and he really listened and advised as to how I could move forward. He even answered any questions I had outside of appointments! I can’t speak highly enough about this Osteopath! I’m hoping I don’t have any injuries in the future but if I ever did then this is 100% who I would come to. I can’t thank you enough Adam!

I visited Adam at Lace Market Clinic after waking up with acute neck pain in the middle of the night and being unable to get into any position to relieve it. I managed to obtain an on the day appointment with the online booking system which was really helpful. After booking Adam quickly responded via email to confirm that he would be able to help with my problem. At the clinic Adam was extremely professional and personable and together we outlined my history and any possible trigger for the pain. He did some lower back and neck manipulations and directed me to do some neck stretching exercises to loosen up the muscle. I left the treatment with instant relief from my pain, and some exercises to do to help rehabilitate my neck. Over the next two weeks with stretches and the use of heat packs my pain has gone. Adam sent me a follow up email to check on my progression. Overall I had an extremely positive experience with Adam and I would definitely recommend him. The online booking system means its easy to get an appointment fast- this was important to me as I didn't have to take any time of work. I'm not originally from Nottingham and its great to know I now have a local clinic I can go to if I have any problems in the future. Thanks again Adam!

I've seen Adam for two different issues, both of which were significantly helped as a result of this sessions. He's a great listener and is genuinely interested in getting to the underlying cause of issues. His treatment was focused on discovering root causes rather than quick fixes that don't address the real problem. He provided me with a mix of exercises I could do at home to try to alleviate and also prevent the issue re-emerging, and quick and effective relief from much of the pain or discomfort I experienced for both my issues. I never felt he pushed me to have more sessions than necessary. He's very professional and made me feel comfortable at all times. His treatment space and office is roomy and immaculately clean. Finally, the booking system is really easy to use and I can usually get an appointment quickly, sometimes even the same day. Thanks!

i went to Adam in great pain and could hardly move, Adam went through my medical history and accessed me on my first visit and carried out treatment straight away. After my first session the difference was unbelievable as i had movement back in my back and was virtually pain free. Adam ensured i followed up with little exercises, which i carried out and i have made a full recovery. I've been visiting Lace Market Clinic for over 3 years now and extremely please with the service and treatment I receive. Adam is friendly, polite and professional. He listens and takes time to understand the issues you as a patient are experiencing and will tailor each treatment session around that. When he needs to explain about possible causes, additional at home treatment or exercises he does so in a way that you understand. He has recently moved his clinic to a new location and this has been a vast improvement on his old clinic. It's clean, fresh and above all quiet and relaxing. Adam engages in conversation with me from time to time which helps take my mind off of particularly heavy sessions but balances this well and understands when I may not want to talk. Adam is always reassuring and checks throughout treatment if I am feeling O.K. and not in any additional pain or discomfort. I can't recommend Adam enough if you are in need of an Osteopath or a Sports Masseur

I first visited the Lace Market Clinic with a chronic hip discomfort, after having seen two other professionals (an osteopath and a physiotherapist), who could not fix my problem and actually made the symptoms slightly worse. I felt my body was growing weaker and alien to me, and I was desperate to find a solution. Although it wasn't a serious injury I was often in pain when standing up after sitting for a few minutes, and I felt stiff every morning. After a very thorough history taking and clinical assessment, Adam explained what he thought was going on (the opposite of what the others had said!), and recommended some strengthening exercises for me. In the follow-up visits, he always asked about progress and carefully listened and evaluated the next steps to take, before performing a re-assessment and suggesting further exercises to continue progressing in the right direction. The injury turned out to be a complex issue also involving a sore foot and a stiff shoulder: other aches and pains that I learned to live as my "normal". Adam discovered that I couldn't actually lift my right arm more than a 45 degree angle when my hand was in a certain position! I am so grateful that he actually diagnosed the problem with his thorough and flexible approach. It took several months and a lot of daily exercise, but I felt I could trust Adam every step of the way, and thanks to him I could completely recover from my injury! I am now pain free, I don't feel weak anymore and I have complete control of my body, which is a very powerful feeling.

He has been really helpful, pointing out that I breath from my chest and suggesting excersises to do at home. I think to get the most out of this, you do need to put some effort into your homework, it's not just magic. Now I feel a lot better!

By the end of my appointment Adam told me what was causing all these problems and he gave me the information I had been searching for, for such a long period of time. Adam is a consummate professional who takes a first class approach to your problems. Firstly, and most importantly Adam listens to what you have to say and after this he then develops an approach which is considerate, pragmatic and relevant to your needs while giving you an simple explanation of his prognosis. I must admit to having been somewhat reluctant to visit an osteopath as trust is a big thing with back pains but it was never a problem at all with Adam. Attend many Chiropractors across the country who cracked and prodded me with needles numerous times. This only ever provided short-term relief which would lead me going back to them continuously - spending a lot more money. A fantastic service: Solid and trustworthy diagnosis followed by direct treatment, resulted in a cure for my injury. I compete in Ultra Marathons including the Marathon Des Sables The Spine Race and the UTBM regarded as some of the hardest in the world. Adam has been able to address the issues and stresses that these events put on my body get me turned around and back out training with limited down time. Something that I am very grateful for.
