I managed to book my first appointment within the week of enquiring about availability which was a good start. Came with dreadful lower back pain from playing a lot of football/ gym work. Had 3 sessions in total where my back pain cause was clearly identified and explained to me, along with exercises I could do to ease the pain. The actual treatment was also highly effective which has now caused my pain to be almost completely erased (after only 3 weeks)! Max was great with me as well, friendly and professional. Would highly recommend to anyone.

From the moment I made the phone call to make an appointment then arriving and having my constant talk to me about my problem also giving me an X-ray and then leaving, the service was so professional and costumer care at its best. I highly recommend this practice. OH and the cost is lower than I imagine.

I know all about back pain. I was told by NHS that only a major operation with 50% success was my only chance of being pain free. 15 years ago I thought I would give this clinic a go. I have never looked back. In the last few years they recommended me to have 6/7 weeks maintenance which has been so beneficial to me and has become part of my life. From the minute you walk through the door, the professional warm and friendly way you are greeted is beyond expectations and Jay my chiropractor is again so approachable and such a lovely person. I have a passion for customer service, and unfortunately this is missing in so many organisations these days. If you are thinking about booking an appointment with this clinic, do it now, and like me, you will never look back. It then will be you who is recommending this clinic to everyone

The staff at Hucknall Chiropractic Clinic are without doubt the friendliest and most helpful people you could ever hope to meet. They have always made time for me with my long standing injury, even Jay has given me extra time when I have been in considerable pain. He has even referred me to hospital when I was extremely bad. The service and price is brilliant and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thanks to Jay and his team, I am making more progress with them than any other treatment I have been offered by the doctors. Me and my mum both go regularly and we both recommend this clinic. I don't know how I would have coped without the treatment they have given me and I have complete faith and trust in them to get me to where I want to be. I give them my highest recommendation, as they are brilliant at what they do.

I have suffered with neck pain / discomfort for almost two decades following a whiplash injury. I had twice pursued treatment on the NHS before being told that they were unable to help further. Recently the pain had become more regular and so I followed advice of a colleague and made an appointment at Hucknall Chiropractic Clinic. Based on previous history I was hopeful rather than expectant of positive results. How wrong I had been. It is still early days with regard to my treatment but I have already noticed huge improvements - more movement / less pain. I cannot thank Paul and his team enough. I just wish I had made an appointment many years ago so that I could have benefited from a higher quality of life much sooner. Highly recommended.

In May 2016 I had major breast surgery, which resulted in me being in chronic pain. My surgeon tried everything to ease the pain but had not come across anything like this before, My next option was yet again to have major surgery to hopefully ease my pain. After 5 weeks I was at a loss of what to do, and with the surgeon also being at a loss my husband suggested seeing Paul (who I have seen on many occasions for various problems, not to mention my jaw!) Within 5 minutes Paul knew what the problem was, I was suffering from intercostal muscle damage. My first visit was painful but afterwards I felt so much better, I have just had my 5th visit and feel 100% better. Even my surgeon is impressed. I cannot thank Paul enough for not only seeing me before surgery in a morning but for his excellent treatment. I would highly recommend Hucknall Chiropractor to anyone any age. The staff are all very helpful in making you feel at home. Paul is excellent in spotting any problems you have and also in sorting them out, allowing you to leave the practice feeling so much better. He goes above and beyond his call of duty. Not forgetting Jay who is also a Chiropractor at the practice.

I’m sad to say I was disappointed with my treatment here. After an initial thorough consultation, which left me feeling hopeful about the service I would receive, my subsequent two treatments left me feeling like I was on a cattle conveyor belt. Procedures weren’t explained to me in any great detail, nor was I given any time to ask questions after the procedure. My chiropractor said he’d give me exercises to help my issue, but I never received any more advice on this. I cancelled my subsequent appointments. I was contacted by the clinic after leaving this review and invited back to be treated again for no fee. Whilst I appreciated this gesture I decided against accepting the offer.

Jay is incredible my first time seeing a chiropractor and I was quite nervous. But after constant pain for two years and receiving inadequate information regarding my pain through nhs physio I was recommended to him by a colleague. I followed all advice by the nhs physio and just felt at a stand still with them although great at a starting point but now I wished I went straight to him. Anyway an x ray revealed my problems and he knows what can be done. I felt very comfortable with him I felt I was listened too and cared for. The reception staff also lovely. And handy parking too. Jay is very very professional and extremely knowledgeable. My personal experience. I spent 3 months in agony last year and with ever decreasing mobility and was given more and more painkillers ending up on tramadol by my GP. I was sent for physio as well and given useless exercisesz to no avail. When I first met Jay at the first consultation he x-rayed my spine and found I had been living with a dysfunctional SI joint a severe spinal curve and a compression fracture in the last vertebra of my spine. Over a period of 6 weeks he had me upright pain free off all pain killers and back to work laying patios fencing fitting windows all very physical work. I can’t give him a big enough thank you. Now I find myself in need of a bit of maintenance and he’s my first point of call when GP try’s the painkiller route again after a large landscaping job. This guy is amazing at what he does.

Amazing place. Staff all very friendly and professional. I was recommended by a friend to go and see if they could help me with my back pain which I had suffered with for many years and Jay did not disappoint me. He was so kind with all my problems and very knowledgeable. Pain tablets I had been taking for over 10 years he encouraged me to come off and now after 6 months of being treated by him I am nearly back pain free. I saw Jay the other day and I had a very sore shoulder with 20 minutes he had sorted my problem and I was 70% better within the next couple of days the pain had gone. I couldn't of asked for better care. My chiropractor Nick carried out a very thorough physical exam on my initial visit, followed by a once a week visit which I look forward to. Each time I attend everything is explained fully & a range of methods are used to see which I get the most relief from. I've been able to book appointments for every week & I'm reminded each morning by the lovely receptionist. I leave feeling relaxed & in less pain than I went in with, which is a win win for me. I suffer from Fibromyalgia, Hypermobility amongst other thing's & have lived everyday in pain for the last 11 years!! Nick helps me to feel in less pain than when i walked through the door. I have been a patient of Jay Murray's for just over a year now & I'm so very grateful to him for his treatment, support, understanding & knowledge of my condition. Before I saw Jay my quality of life was pretty poor & consisted mainly of pottering around for a short while & then laying down with an ice pack & this was a daily repetitive routine! Now a year on after treatment & following Jay's advice, I feel like I have control of my life back & I no longer spend most of the day laying down, in fact I now attend 3 Aqua Aerobics classes per week & sometimes fit in an extra session or 2 of swimming or training in the gym, which I never thought would be possible!
