We've just spent a fantastic weekend here for my hen do and it couldn't have been more perfect. Seamus was on hand to help whenever we needed help and was so welcoming and friendly. The pods and lodge were clean, well laid out (though if you're in a top bunk, watch out for the slope in the roof!) the view was lovely and the hot tubs got plenty of use too.We're already planning our next visit!

Had a week here with my husband at meadow view glamping as a Christmas present from my family. From the start to finish it was a beautiful week. Nothing seemed too much trouble, staff were lovely but in particular seamus was so accommodating and helpful. Anytime day or night he was here to help if there was something we needed or even for a chat which was lovely! It was amazing, pod was so clean and tidy, all the amenities was super, own en-suite (most pods elsewhere don’t had their own toilet facilities so this was a bonus) and double bed was so comfy! This to us was posh glamping as what else could we of asked for! Absolutely brilliant! Even better when we were upgraded to a hottub for the week which was so nice for them to do that! Views and walks around the site was nice, but nice to relax and recharge in our own private pod. Will be back as it was fab! Thanks team! All was brill! Jade and Tom x

Just spent a lovely long weekend here for a mate's birthday. The pods are lovely, very nicely equipped for the size and the hot tub was a bonus. The setting is nice, wildlife literally off your deck. Seamus is the site manager and he's a lovely fella, helpful and friendly. Can't recommend highly enough.

My husband and I stayed for two nights three days. We had an amazing experience. It was so peaceful and quiet, the perfect place to get through jetlag. The area was quaint and extremely welcoming. Plenty of food and bars in walking distance. We have no complaints and the hosts were very tentative to any questions or concerns we had. We highly recommend staying here. We even got to put some cute cows! If we ever come back to this area we will definitely be staying here.

Just returned for a fantastic long weekend at Meadow View for a University reunion between friends with kids and dogs too. All the pods were clean and ideal for a short stay. Seamus was our contact during our stay and was always very friendly and on hand to help with any questions we had. Overall a very enjoyable weekend and would definitely stay again.

Great value for money. clean pods with everything you need in a comfortable space. The added bonus of a hot tub with bluetooth speakers and easy access to surrounding walks and pubs sweetened the deal and we will be returning again for sure. I must also mention that Seamus was friendly and always promptly on hand to ensure we had everything we needed for our stay over the long weekend :)

Stayed here with 14 other friends. Seamus gave us a great check in and out experience and we were very well looked after! Pods were amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed the visit from the local cat! Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

Couldn’t have enjoyed our NYE stay more. Shamus was so welcoming and being flexible with my check in time really helped. I have 3 children and felt really relaxed here. Often companies advertise as being family friendly, but then aren’t. The cabin was warm and cosy and the hot tub always to temperature. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

We have stayed here about 5 times now , and every time has been brilliant . This time was even more special because we stayed in the lodge and had the hot tub ! Felt very spoilt. The lodge was very spacious, and everything we needed was provided . All bedding was provided which made life and travelling so easy . It was perfect . Just back from a lovely 3 night break at Meadowview with a family of 4. The pods are cleaned beautifully and having cows for neighbours was so nice for the kids. Surrounded by lovely walks and a great location to get to attractions nearby. Woolaton Hall is about a ten minute drive away and is an all day visit for the family. We also went to alton towers from here which was just short of an hour drive. The rest of the time we spent walking and relaxing. The pricing is so reasonable especially for the experience, time of year and the service you receive from the staff. Thank you for a great break x

Just back from a lovely quiet 3 night stay, very cheap and reasonable. Was told there will be hot tubs soon so will definitely be making a return ( asap ) Really great people and I fully enjoyed my stay. Only negative is the pod was quite cold by the kitchen ( back of pod ) but was very windy so not sure if this would make a difference. Will be back here. Very welcoming

Just spent 3 nights in one of the pods and what a great find. Peaceful location yet walking distance to local shops. Very impressed with how clean and well kitted out the pods are with everything you could need for your stay. Great base to explore the lovely countryside with walks from the door but also easy access into Nottingham on the tram. Staff were so helpful and friendly and didn't rush us to check out when it was pouring down with rain! Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Very friendly and helpful staff, Seamus in particular was on hand for anything we needed. The site is an unexpected gem in the East Midlands, surrounded by fields and the river but close to Nottingham and Derby. Our group hired the lodge and a couple of pods, with the BBQ hut providing the perfect place to socialise in the evening.

Fantastic 4 night break here it was so lovley the hot tub was great and it’s so quiet, the lodge it self was immaculate inside like brand new the bed sheets were fresh and were nice and clean, there was always someone available whenever we needed anything and nothing was too much definitely be booking again soon!

This is the second time we've stayed here, this time with our new pup and yet again an amazing experience. The pods are absolutely immaculate with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Rachel is so welcoming and friendly and you can see how much she truly cares about her guests (including the ones with 4 legs!). Beautiful location and we were given great advice on good local walks and pubs. Fabulous, large, secure dog exercise area right next to the dog friendly pods, which is very convenient. Can't recommend this site enough, we will be back again soon!!

A great site. Close enough to amenities such as shops and pubs but also offering rural tranquility and relaxation in a peaceful setting. The pods are well equipped, the website is really clear in telling you what is supplied and what you need to bring. Dog friendly but also have non dog pods if you are in a mixed party. There are some great walks straight out of the site and also some nice trail runs. Rachel and the team do a great job in making sure everything is just right for your stay. Our 6 year old is already wondering when we can go back! Thank you for a great place to stay.

Lovely quiet mini break with the kids. We booked last minute for a two night stay during the school holiday. It's a small, quiet site situated between Derby and Nottingham, with access nearby to a park and ride into Nottingham. There's an Aldi very near by as well as some nice cafes, chippy, and Whetherspoons. The pod was really nice. All wood cladding inside and a non-slip type flooring throughout. It's smaller than a typical static caravan (I think?) But the space is used well. I didnt think to take any pictures until we had unpacked and the two small kids had already caused chaos. But the pictures and virtual tour on the website are pretty true to life. There is outside decking which is slightly wider than the pod itself and plenty deep. They were working on installing the drainage for hot tubs when we visited; but even once there's a tub on the deck, I think there would be plenty of room to make use of the BBQ and patio chairs which are provided for guest use. Either side of the door there are little storage boxes (built in) for muddy boots etc. We didn't need them, but I thought that was a great idea as there are some nice local walks around. The kitchen/dining room/living room worked great for us. The kids sat on the bench seat and watched a little TV (placement in the upper corner keeps I out of the way but always in view) or played on the floor while I cooked. I didn't want to move the crockery and cookware around in the cupboards (all provided so you don't have to bring your own) so I did find myself wishing that there was a shelf to put our non-fridge food stuffs on. We kept putting the bread and cereal, etc, on top of the microwave, but i don't really like doing that. A simple shelf in that corner, or part way along the wall would have been perfect. Be aware: there's no oven, but there is everything else (microwave, 2 burner hob, toaster and kettle) so you can still cook good meals. It's more than I have in the tent anyway, so I was happy. The bathroom has everything you need, toilet, electric shower, sink AND a heated towel rail. I'm really gonna have a hard time going back to a tent after this. The bedroom was a simple but nice use of space again. The beds are built in to the space to fit it. There's a double bed on one side and the bunk beds on the other side. The bunk beds each have a little side light with their own switches. My daughter (4) thought that was the greatest thing ever. I really liked that the mattresses had little toppers. I don't know why. I guess the idea that the mattress itself is a bit more clean because the topper can be washed between each guest, whereas a mattress can't. They do provide bedding (I didn't realise when I booked), but we took our own, so I can't comment on that. The main living area and the bedroom each had a thermostatic electric wall heater. We were not cold at all. Set the thermostat to the temperature you want and leave it at that. There is also a little nook where you can put.your bags and shoes, and a rail to hang coats and clothes. There is free WiFi, but I found it to be too slow to do much with. I'm not sure if I was doing something wrong, but I have quite a big data plan so I didn't bother asking. So that could be user error. Seamus was lovely and I'm sure would have helped me sort it, but I didn't ask as we were only there a short time. Another "Be Aware" note: they would like a £20 deposit for the key fob which let's you through the site gate, so take some cash when checking in. It is a deposit, so you get it back (if you don't lose the key& fob). We were all really happy and plan to come again once the hot tubs are in.

Just left Meadow View Glamping site after a lovely 3 night stay. Couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay for a mini break with our young family. All amenities were high standard, not a cold shower in sight! WiFi always had strong connection, perfect for those screen time moments! The views were lovely. We had 2 bbqs (provided kindly by the Meadow View team) and it was so peaceful sat out on the decking, watching the cows and wildlife, children could play safely whilst the adults relaxed. We never drove further than 10 minutes for activities and enjoyed the canal walk from the campsite itself. Rachel was really welcoming and gave us so many tips and advice on what do to on our stay. We will definitely return :-)

Spent Friday evening, Saturday and Saturday evening here , weekend just gone for my wife's birthday.l Had such a warm welcome from Rachel , going out of her way to make us feel welcome and running through the essentials. Had cause to speak to Vic , Rachel's husband on the phone who is a gentleman, and the same for Doug , Vic's brother who was also extremely helpful and a gentleman The pods are exceptionally clean , well equipped and we needed for nothing . Beautiful grounds and walks around the site , and everything you could need for shopping eating etc , all within easy reach of the site . Would highly recommend, and hope to visit again . I can't recommend Meadow View Glamping highly enough. We went for a 2 night get away with our two children and we have come back feeling relaxed and refreshed. The pods are amazing!! Very clean and well thought out. The beds were so comfortable that it felt like home from home. The staff were helpful and friendly. If you need a short break then you won't regret coming here. We are coming back for a night hopefully soon for just me and my husband to celebrate our anniversary!

My girlfriend and I spend last weekend here and we had a lovely relaxing couple of days. The pods were immaculate and had everything we needed for our stay. The site is so relaxing with all the surrounding fields and cows. There are lots of walks to go on locally and further a field. Its a great base to see the local area also. Victor was most helpful in preparing a surprise for my girlfriends birthday and couldn't have done more for us. We hope to return very soon I would definitely recommend this site to people.

Largest and kindest pods of all visited so far. we have visited few glamping sites and the pods in this place are definitely the luxury largest ones. The place was fully loaded with mod cons provided, including the instant BBQ, alarm on the pod and even candles for your romantic evenings. we will highly recommend this hidden gem.

Stayed for two nights with our puppy “Dexter” throughly enjoyed our stay. The pod we stayed in was immaculately clean and spacious and was plenty big enough for the 3 of us. We enjoyed the dog exercise area where we could let our puppy off the lead for the first time. Plenty to do in the near area. Just wished we could of stayed longer! Highly recommend!!!

Highly recommend meadow view, the guys were lovely and really helpful, the pods are spacious and well kept. Sit out in the morning with a coffee and a cigarette, looking out over the view. Very peaceful and a great price. Will be back soon.

We have just spent a great weekend at Meadowview Glamping. The pods were lovely; very clean, spacious and comfortable with all the amenities you would expect, and more (wifi, shower, comfortable beds, fridge freezer, plenty of kitchen implements, etc). The information available on the website before our stay was very clear as to what was in the pods, and what we did need to bring with us. The pods and the site were very secure, in a peaceful countryside environment which was easy to find. Booking the weekend was so straightforward, and on arrival we were greeted warmly by Rachel, and given plenty of information to familiarise ourselves with the surroundings. I would highly recommend Meadowview for a lovely, relaxing break. Thank you!

Excellent place has everything in pod you would need and the security is really good alarms in pod and gated entrance. Rachel and the guys are so pleasant and helpful. This place was lovely and well maintained. Very peaceful location. I stayed here with my partner and dog, very accommodating to dogs, they have an area to exercise them, wash facilities to clean them and good space on the decking for them. The owners were down to earth and very likeable but maintained professionalism which shows good standards and pride for their business. I will be promoting this place to friends and family. Amazing.

Beautifully designed pods in a convenient location close to Stapleford. Our family of 3 enjoyed a relaxing weekend break. The cows who come to say hello in the morning and evening delighted our little boy.
