I cannot recommend James enough at MGT cars, he offers a service that really is second to none. We wanted a 4x4 as a work truck James not only sourced the vehicle and kept us regularly updated he also delivered it personally. At no point did we ever feel pressured to buy he really is a true gent, and is always willing to go that extra mile to offer a personalised service. We are already using him to buy our daughter her first car thanks once again James.

I am not given to writing reviews, in fact this is the first and probably the only one I will ever do, however James exceeded all expectations with my car purchase and warrants a mention in despatches for his honesty and integrity which is a rare trait in car sales based on my previous experience. James was advertising for sale a Kia Sportage that ticked all the boxes and having wasted much time looking at other similar cars that did match the sellers description I took the leap of faith and cast the net further. I rang James who gave me a 'worts and all' description of the car immediately putting me at ease that a 400 mile round trip would not be wasted. James was even prepared to waive a deposit which I was happy to pay to avoid further frustration sourcing a car within my admittedly limited budget. On the day of arrival the car exceeded James description, was immaculately valeted, wheels professionally refurbished and a couple of trolley induced blemishes on the body work touched up. I couldn't even see where these were originally. Credit to James, he had mentioned these in his description of the body work before I travelled but had taken it upon himself to rectify. The test drive ensued and I was happy to purchase. A price was agreed without any fuss. This was my first manual car in some time but I became aware that the clutch was very notchy. After diagnosis at a main dealer, I spoke with the supplied warranty company, who did their uttermost to make life difficult, and then to James. James was entirely content to cover the balance of repairs after the warranty contribution. Having had the clutch replaced today, James immediately refunded this balance to me removing any stress I may have had about reimbursement. I cannot praise James highly enough for his approachable, immediate and pragmatic attitude throughout. Car dealers do come with a certain reputation but James bucks this trend to the extent that I would gladly make that long trip again for the right car. Thank you James. Best Andy

Never had a better experience from a dealership!! I had trouble seeking a decent subaru wrx that hadnt been thrashed to an inch of its life or was in poor condition, until i found this one on Facebook. The price was fair for what a beast it is! James is a really nice guy and super helpful by answering any queries I had at the time, and being incredibly patient with me. Since i struggled to find the time to pick it up myself, he arranged to have it transported to me. Absolutely over the moon with this and feel incredibly fortunate. I definitely recommend purchasing a car from this company.

4th Time buying a car and can honestly say this is the first time I've felt completely looked after and happy with the entire experience, every person i spoke to was lovely and so incredibly helpful. Took a mate up to this place yesterday to pick up a car for him and I had to come on and leave a review myself, you just don't find many honest dealers like this anymore. I've bought plenty of used cars over the years and viewed plenty of dogs at dodgy dealers that were described as 'mint'. The car was exactly as described, if not abit better to be honest. The owner was a real sound, down to earth chap with no pushy pushy sales etc. He just allowed to look over the car in our time, allowed us both to test drive it to make sure it was what my mate was after. Was willing to do a good old bit of haggling with us on the price without being an arse about it. If these have a car in stock that you're thinking of viewing, it honestly will be a decent motor. We looked at everything in stock just out of curiosity and it was all really tidy stuff. I would be personally happy to purchase a motor from these gents and would certainly recommend them!
