Amazing heating Engineer. Book AVID heating into for your boiler servicing or boiler repair. Byron was an absolute consummate professional at all times. Byron attended to help fix our boiler after it went bust. He was the only company who was able to help in the same week and offered to attend late one evening. After running late he texted and called to provide regular updates. He didn’t cancel and he said he would turn up and that he did. He diagnosed the problem, set about ordering the parts and gave advice on a temporary fix to help us with hot water and heating. While waiting for the parts he provided regular updates. His admin team are amazing and very friendly. I would reccomend Byron 1000times over. I’ll be booking him in for regular servicing and if you need a positive review to help decide- this is the one for you. He is a great guy and very friendly. Our boiler is fixed and we would not hesitate to call Byron if we need help again. Thanks mate

Byron from Avid came to fix a small problem several years ago and we were so happy with the service we made sure we found them again when our boiler started making a lot of noise this winter. Byron sent a courtesy message a few minutes before he arrived. He discussed the possible reasons for the problem, have the costs for the options, then got the job done with no problems at all. One day later everything seems to have worked fine, but it's very good to know they will do a follow up call next week to make sure. Very highly recommend this company.

I really liked being able to book a slot on his website and then just wait for him to show up, rather than chasing plumbers and constantly being on the phone. After years of trying to get a decent, local plumber I am delighted to found Avid Heating. They are EFFICIENT - returned my call within 20mins of my leaving a message and offered an appointment; enabled tracking of his journey to my property so I knew when he was going to arrive. Cannot recommend Byron, Avid heating enough! Excellent customer service, always get to speak to a real person, not an answer machine. I think the woman's name was Debbie, who was always really helpful. Always updated before hand by text and the payment system is great. I had all my old radiators replaced and a new Hive heating control fitted. I had used them before to replace a faulty diverter valve on my boiler.

Byron, has just completed an awesome heating job. This job was not easy task, as Byron had to sort out the complete and utter mess another company had done fitting a new boiler in our house. On arriving this morning to complete this job, as we also had a problem with our restroom, the cistern was not shutting off, he went and purchased parts needed to fix the problem. We now not only have a working heating system, but a working restroom! Byron, is not only extremely professional, but a pleasure to have working in the house. Jeez he even vacuumed after himself! When our boiler packed in with all the strain, he was out here straight away, the next day, having jigged his jobs around. We recently had a problem with our central heating - the pump was old and needed replacing. I contacted Byron initially through Checkatrade (where he had amazing reviews - including winning a JACK FM award), and he responded immediately by phone. He arranged a time to come by, and arrived 5 mins early. Byron was down-to-earth and clearly knowledgeable about his trade. He gave us a price before coming, which he stuck to. He worked fast, clean and conscientiously, and made sure our central heating was working fully before leaving. I would recommend him to anyone!

I called Byron when my boiler broke down, looking to get someone out on the same day. I was told he could make it for 4pm, but after finishing his first job early, he gave me a ring, and was with me by 10am! Super-friendly and professional, he identified the fault, nipped out to the heating merchant to get a spare, and had everything back up and running within the hour. Plus he left everything clean and tidy once he was done. Extra nice touch was the tracking software that he uses - once he'd rung me, I got a text with a web link, which showed me exactly how far away he was, with accurate eta. It's a small thing, but makes a big difference, especially if you've experienced unreliable tradesmen in the past. Would definitely recommend Byron / Avid Heating.
