Lovely little railway to travel on with our dog and baby. Inexpensive for a return journey (£6 for two adults). Got off at the end for a walk near the waterside. The Guard was very accommodating of our pram in his Guard's van, and helped remove it too at the end of each journey. Great all round!

A nice little mini railway that runs from next to visitor centre, journey time is probably no longer than about 5 mins from one end to the other. Lovely little ride and kids loved it, but it was £10 for the four of us for a return journey - on plus side, you can get off at the other end, have a wonder and then jump back on the next trip back.

A small train that is covered. Roughly two pounds fifty in cost for a ride. My young children really enjoyed it and there was a section for pushchairs too. Can get very busy after 4pm.

Beautiful park. Lots of space. Nice playgrounds with hand sanitiser and good food and coffee from the cafe. Hope to come again!

Great fun for younger kids, a few different playground, a maze, a little sculpture tunnel and a decent cafe. There's also a couple of large lakes and plenty of wildlife, along with a miniature railway that's open every day on July and August. We use this place as a stop off on the way home to Essex from trips to Manchester to see the grandparents, never disappoints.

Absolutely hot weather and make you feel cooler when to close with this lake

Went for a ride on my bike to get out of the house and get fresh air. Miniature train was very busy said hello the engine drive whilst he was at the station.

Great little railway, bit pricey, could maybe do with a longer circular route?

We had such a lovely time! The gentlemen working on the train were fantastic and helped us with the pram ect.. the park was wonderful and well maintained. Only recommendation I have is to make the wooded area with dens a bit more utilized.. maybe lessons in making things with the children there.. or stories at certain times around the log area ect.. just a suggestion! Other than that great day out for all would definitely return

Fun cheap and a great day out for all the family. Great Play areas for kids , tarmac paths for cyclists , miniature train with disabled ramp. Wood walks , water sports centre , cafes and much more.

Lovely little steam train 20 minutes round trip or stay at the other end & have a picnic & wait for the next one!. £3 per adult. Lovely way to see some of the park

This is the third time we have been to this park and we find a different part each time. We hired a mobility scooter for my wife so that we could get around more of the park. so far we have found two cafe's one by the entrance the second is by the sports lake. But I think that there must be more car parks around the park. There are a lot of path's around so we will be going back to find where they all go. The scooters are free to use but they do ask for a donation which I think is a fair request. A small miniature railway run's around part so something for the kids big and small. On the sports lake there are some large swan paddle boats for pleasure. There is also the Nene valley railway that runs alongside all run by volunteers. The caravan club has a site near the entrance so a stop over night helps there no rushing home. And finally to the car park no tickets are issued it is all ANPR (cameras) the machines are all automated if your first time be patient when all is done machine screen goes back to start no ticket. It is a lovely park enjoy

We celebrated a 4th with a BBQ, rides on swan pedal boats and a ride on the miniature train. All facilities were excellent.

If there is a place that inspires a young explorer that's this miniature train. There is a steam and a diesel engine, the train-riders are friendly and passionate about what they are doing. Return is 15 min. Reopens after the winter break in mid February

Nice ride for the kids❤️❤️❤️

My kids used to absolutely love this when they were younger and I did too as an adult if I'm honest! Reasonably priced and a great addition/feature to this beautiful park.

While it is short, it's very neat for kids and our littles enjoyed the ride. No cards are accepted for the train so pounds are needed.
