Great place to visit when in Plymouth. Pity access to the beach is no longer available. Great place from where to get panoramic views of Plymouth

Jennycliff is a really good beach for exploring and enjoying for an hour or so. It's super close to Plymouth a 10 minute drive and the parking is free. Up top there is a cafe and there's plenty of walks to do around the area. The beach itself can get very messy with washed up netting, plastics and other debris is not a beach you want to come to for a day out it's more to be enjoyed as a quick getaway from the city in my opinion get some fresh sea air maybe walk your dog but not a beach to sit down on and enjoy all day not personally anyway. If you live near though come visit have a walk take In the fresh air and leave your car at the free car park while you go explore.

It is nice cliff walk through South West Path but the beach is disappointing in the end and actually closed at present due to cliff being unstable . There is no toilet facilities anywhere so be aware . The view is nice so that is why I'm giving 3 stars .

A beautiful coastal view and walk, the steps were unfortunately closed which lead down to the beach and it was a bit chilly but other than that it has a lovely little cafe which has great views and free parking. If you walk along the coastal path it take you to a little pier off of Lawrence Road. Just make sure you wrap up during the winter months.

Stunning location. Lots of benches to sit and admire the stunning views! It said the steps to the ocean were closed due to erosion, but plenty of people were still walking down. Very cool ocean worn smooth rocks.

This place is better since they created a new footpath from the cliff down to the beach after storms completely wrecked the previous path. I just wish that people wouldn't litter in the car park as it can be so windy that litter will be blown down to the beach and into the sea.

Stunning location!!! The cafe is nice but expensive. Ice-cream van in the carpark with friendly staff. Very steep stairs to the beach, but a lovely place overlooking the bay even if the beach won't be possible.

The beach has been closed off for years officially, due to subsidence, but local kids have taken the fence down, so easy access. The council should sort it out, as it has free parking and a cafe. Good for swimming and kayak.

Stunning views, Benches to sit down and admire the view, signs saying can't get to the beach front due to erosion but people just ignored the signs, probably from London. I stayed up top and admired the stunning view, cafe nearby. Bit of a trek to get to with paths but is worth it

Stunning area, great for dog walkers or hikers. Wheelchairs can access it, with a path down to a little cafe on the edge of the cliff for a lovely view. Nice and dog mess free place to take the kids for a bbq and a game of cricket!

Good views and a good place for a coastal walk dog friendly, free car parking and a nice little cafe overlooking Plymouth sound. The beach is a bit of a climb up and down the coast path though and remember we are in lock down at this time.

Beautiful beach. Stoney and great views on a warm day. Cafe does great food at the top and there's usually an ice cream van in the free car park. Free public toilets but not in the greatest condition although it's still good that they are free as a lot of toilets near the area you have to pay to use.

Very quiet area which is great for dogs. We found that most of the dogs here are very friendly. Bit of a steep slope to go up and down to the beach but if you don't mind it's worth the journey. Especially, if you want to skip some rocks 😊😉

Delightful bay.view of plymouth is stunning from the cliffs. Great place to watch the ships come and go. A pure delight for dogs. Super little cafe that serves wide variety of delicious food. Stunning views over the Plymouth Sound. There is a large cafe so you can sit and enjoy the views. Large car park but it can get very busy. There is a steep walk down to a not particularly nice beach. Better to drive round the corner to Bovisand. Despite this, it is beautiful here with lovely walks along the coast.

Wonderful little beach tucked away and dog friendly. Free parking is available and a cafe for refreshments. Please, please take your rubbish home with you! There is a bin at the top of the steps.

At the top of Jennycliff is a block of Toilets. These are situated in the car park, which is free. You have to cross the road to get onto the grassy areas. The building you come across is a café/ restaurant. It is open from morning till late. Nice meals are served here throughout the day. There is seating available outside. More seating is farther down from the cafe. To the left of the building is a path that leads you to the beach. It is a bit of a climb to reach the bottom. Just have to remember that you will have to bring all your stuff back up the steps afterwards.

A quiet beach with a little free car park to the side of the beach. Mount Battern is just down the road with many bus stops so you could maybe catch the bus. It's not sandy so would be rubbish for beach wheelchairs and prams or buggies so take the choice of Wembury beach.

The beech it self is not much a small beech with lots of pebbles . But nice views of Plymouth from car park and small cafe here. I like to sit in the car and watch the shipping movement s in the sound.
