I was having hip trouble and could barely walk and using a cane to get around. I tried different therapies, Bowen,Osteopath,Physical therapy and Acupuncture but wasn’t getting any results. I thought I would try a chiropractor and after seeing the good reviews decided to give it a go. When I met Johanna I found her to be warm and compassionate and actually listened to me and I immediately felt comfortable with her. Johanna has turned my life around and I no longer use a cane and getting around much better. I am truly grateful to have met her. The staff are all lovely and I highly recommend Kenworthy Chiropractic to anyone.

I cannot recommend Janine, and all the staff at Kenworthy Chiropractic, more highly. After my first treatment, my daily headaches were gone, my shoulder pain was gone and my 8 week sciatica pain (which was not responding to medication or physio) was significantly reduced to a more than manageable dull ache. Brilliant service and Johanna is lovely! after told by the doctors theres nothing wrong with me and im too young to have back problems (22 now, had problems for 10 years) Johanna assessed me and acknowledged that my pelvis and back had rotated which was causing me the pain and even one leg to be longer than the other. This review is long overdue. I booked an appointment when I had severe back pain and had tried multiple ways to try and relieve it. The pain was so bad I struggled to sit and sleep and do any sort of exercise. So I scoured the internet for a chiropractor. The staff are very friendly and Janine, the chiropractor that has been helping me, has been a miracle worker. After a few short sessions the back pain had reduced massively so much so I was confidently hitting the gym. It sounds dramatic but I feel like I have my life back. I can’t recommend Kenworthy Chiropractic enough and I just want to say a massive than you to Janine!

I’ve been seeing Johanna since late 2019 and I couldn’t imagine not seeing her on a regular basis now, I always look forward to my appointments. She’s helped me with problems I didn’t even know I had, just by looking at me! Her knowledge and experience is phenomenal. As a shorter lady who is “top-heavy” I constantly struggle with aches and pain in my upper back and neck, I see Johanna every 8 weeks and she sorts me right out, I always leave the clinic feeling 10ft taller - I’m confident that I can go to her with any niggle and she’ll always do her absolute best to help fix it. I even got my partner to go see her after months of complaining about the physio at his work “have breaks from your desk, go for regular walks and stretch” just wasn’t doing anything to help his lower back pain. He was blown away with what a difference just a couple of sessions with Johanna did, not only for his back but for his general wellbeing too. The clinic itself is beautiful, professional but extremely welcoming and relaxing to be in. There is also never any pressure to continue booking regular appointments if you don’t want to. Self care is so important and I believe chiropractic care fits in to that somewhere. I contacted Kenworthy Chiropractic when I had literally got to the end of my tether with the back pain I was experiencing, post the birth of my baby. The awful ache and shooting pains I was experiencing in my lower back got so bad, I couldn’t move or get up at times. It was literally winding me, it was awful. One night, I decided to do some research and came across this place and after reading the life changing reviews I decided to book in. My consultation appointment was with Janine and she is the loveliest and friendliest person, she made me feel straight at ease. After the appointment I already felt loads better. After a few sessions, that awful pain had gone and I will do anything now for it not to return. I’ve gone from seeing Janine weekly to monthly in only a matter of months. The best thing I ever did was walk in to this place. I really do look forward to my appointments with Janine, I feel great when I’ve left and my monthly appointments mean I am pain free and have a spring in my step. I had been suffering from debilitating headaches for a number of months which could wipe me out for up to 10 days. They did not fall into any specific pathway to help the GP make a diagnosis and after an emergency MRI scan and various medications I was no further forward. The one constant was an excruciating pain forking from my neck upwards, so I decided to see a chiropractor. I knew of Janine at Kenworthy because she had treated my daughter successfully. Janine very quickly diagnosed several problems including CGH (Cervicogenic Headaches). Since starting treatment with Janine and doing daily exercises at home, I now haven't had a headache for two months. There is still some way to go with working on the underlying problems, but even my GP is impressed! I can't recommend the clinic and Janine, in particular, highly enough - seeing a chiropractor works!

The practice itself is immaculate and you feel at ease with the professional and stringent procedures in place making it covid secure. Well what can I say, I actually booked the appointment as a last option to see if it could help me with the pain in my shoulder/neck and back. I was beginning to rattle with the amount of pain killers I was being prescribed and taking. To cut a long story short I met the lovely Jannine who was extremely friendly, welcoming and has worked her magic on my aches and pains and now no need for any pain relief at all. I have had three sessions in total but to be honest two would probably of done the job, however it is so relaxing I just looked forward to another session. There is no pressure from the practice to keep booking further appointments, yet it’s something I will be doing. I went to Johanna with baby teddy after being told multiple times that he was a difficult baby and we would never cure his reflux. Johanna was calming and explained everything to me and his daddy in a clear way so we understood. Teddy has had a childhood because of these angels. A baby on four medications a day and still sleeping on my chest is now on no medications, and living his best life sleeping through the night on his back in a cot! Her love for the job shines for miles and I will always recommend her until she retires, and even then I’ll continue to try to send people to her. She isn’t shy of a bit of baby vomit, and is full of energy and life. She is well suited to her job! And the other staff are so welcoming! The area is clean and organised and their prices are a small price to pay for your baby to be cured of pain. Chiro isn’t well known for children, but take it from me, it works! And should it not work and your baby doesn’t need realigning, she will not charge a penny. Such a high quality service from start to finish. Thank you Johanna and your wonderful team!

Great service from the Kenworthy team. Arrived in agony- struggling to drive, sit etc. Joanna assessed me thoroughly and through a much more gentle approach than previous chiropractor experiences I left slightly better but not wholly convinced that the 3 sessions she advised would be sufficient. How right she was and how wrong I was! After 2nd session I was significantly improved. After final session (having done all my homework exercises) I was totally pain free. My course of treatment began as the Clinic reopened following Lockdown. The clinic has many procedures in place to ensure I felt very Covid safe. Everything flowed smoothly, with adequate gaps between appointments to avoid cross over in the waiting room, Contactless payment & email copies of invoice/receipt & appointment reminders further limited unnecessary contact. All the cleansing/disinfecting/wipe down happened behind the scenes with no interruption to my appointment time. Communication with Johanna was friendly, welcoming & humorous despite the PPE. I have suffered from a sore shoulder for years, and noticed a prounced hump on my neck, that was getting worse. I decided to try a visit to Johanna, mainly because of the reviews here on google and because I could easily book on line. After one visit, I’d learnt how to sit properly and have much better posture and had full movement in my neck. My right foot, which had turned inward since birth, was no longer twisted. The accompanying pain and tightness also disappeared, pain that I’d had so long, I’d grown use to it. My hips (that have ached since I had my daughter 9 years ago) were less stiff and I had far more movement. The Plantar fasciitis I had suffered from since training for a charity trek 2 years ago, had all but disappeared. 2 more treatments on, and I have no visible hump, no sore shoulders and hardly any issues with my hip (even after long drives). I have a full range of movement. I am no longer stiff and cramped each morning. Johanna has given me a new lease of life! She’s fixed things I hadn’t even imagined could be fixed. Can’t recommend her enough. Very gentle, no bone cracking or throwing me around! Johanna has a lovely manner and listens carefully. Well were do i start.....Let me start by giving you a brief description of my own condition, when i was very young i was run over by a car, this in turn damaged my foot and as a result i grew up with a high instep / arch in my right foot also causing one leg to be.shorter than the other when i reached approximately 22 years of age i started to experience pain in my neck,shoulder, lower back and hip,i was seen by a number of doctors, physio therapist and in the end had to under go surgery to lengthen my Achilles tendon (Painful ) unfortunately none of this worked i continued to struggle on in life with constant discomfort / Pain. Within the last 3/4 years i decided to go back to the doctors and i was referred for an assessment and it was now discovered i still had a leg length issue, i was fitted with a shoe insert and another course of physio therapy ( little and only temporary relief. (and before anybody comments Physio therapist do a fantastic Job) anyway moving on i then decided i would give chiropractic treatment a go and before discovering Joanna..i visited three other chiropractors the first one had limited success, the second one actually made me worse and was basically just after my money.. and did not listen to the patient (my opinion.. )the third one i visited was whilst on holiday and he was great in just one visit i had good results. Finally i discovered Johanna and OMG.. as you can see from above mine is a complex situation i have finally found a very special chiropractor and a person that not only has amazing skills, she listens,explains everything to you i kid you not i left after my very fist session feeling relief and actually for the first time felt like i was standing on both feet. i have undergone three treatments now and the changes are so noticeable my body feels like its completely adapting to the changes, and i feel like i am getting my life back.. i can only commend Johanna and also Stuart Johanna's Husband (Practice Manager) for their professionalism,and really friendly approach. If you're in the North West, this is the place to go for help with back pain. I've had back problems for years and got nowhere going through the normal channels. Something like four doctors, two consultants (both specialising in back problems), a bunch of X-rays, two MRI scans, and two spine injections did.....nothing except highlight a couple of herniated discs. No treatment. After 12 years or so of this and other things like acupuncture (meh) and even a few sessions of Reiki Healing (utter waste of time and money), I went to see Jo with a bit of a 'whatever' attitude (sorry Jo). The diagnosis was done on the first session, and confirmed on the second. By the third session I was well on the road to recovery. To this day, it's baffling me how she did it even though everything was explained throughout my treatment. Be prepared to be folded into shapes your body doesn't normally ask for, and of course you need to do your home care bit (stretches and posture for me). She will bollock you if you're sitting with bad posture with her, and has instructed my wife to flick me if I lean against the kitchen worktop, which my better half enjoys way too much. I'll be going back now and again for a 'top-up' just to keep things tidy, but the pain is as good as gone, and what remains is very manageable. Awesome work. Xx

Kenworthy Chiropractic is absolutely amazing. I have been going for a while during my pregnancy as I have suffered from very painful hips. They are always really helpful and are very knowledgeable. The pregnancy specialist Johanna is amazing. She sorts my issues out every time and always sends me home with exercises to help out between appointments
