Cannot recommend Dr Bruce and his team of wonderful staff highly enough. Not only have my back issues been resolved where countless other health professionals failed, but the practice is so friendly and enjoyable to attend. It was evident from their knowledge and programs that they know what they're doing. Everything is assessed against X-rays and posture tracking photo updates, so you know the exact issue is being worked on, not guess work, and then you can see the progress in the update photos. I travel 45 minutes to see the team each visit. Completely worth it. These guys are brilliant at what they do.

Over the past 15 years I have been seeking treatment to sort out the pain in my lower back and knees in both private and NHS services. I have to say myself i was not an easy task and still have some way to go but know to the teams effort and me working very closley and doing the correct excerises they set out for me i will get there in the end. If your in need of help for discomfort, after an accident or for general wear and tear, this is the place to go could not reccomend enough, and nothing is too much for them to help. Clean, tidy environment, helpful & knowledgeable torturers...I mean, assistants who ensure you do the prescribed exercises, put you in helpful, if odd positions(traction) and offer input on technique as you go. No question too dumb for them or Bruce. Been going here for approx. 2 years now as was struggling with knee & neck pain. Was almost 100% better when I injured my lower back playing rugby that had me bedridden for 2 weeks and in chronic pain for at least 6 more. Regular sessions across those 6 weeks with Bruce and the exercise regime he prescribed has me back on my feet and walking 15 miles per week, though I'm too old to continue with the rugby. His name's Bruce, not Jesus, though a pretty close second in the miracle working. :-)

Twin two started walking after her first adjustment with Bruce (at 16 months). I attend 2 x weekly. I’m really feeling the benefits as I am now able to start running again! When Dr Bruce set up his own chiropractic practice, I had to work hard to find out where he had moved to, as he was the reason I visited his previous employ. My perseverance paid off. He has an excellent advanced set up in Reading, offering so much more than a quick fix. It’s all about your longer term care, I used to have regular back pain, taking lots of ibuprofen and now I very rarely do. I visit once a month, investing in myself, of which I now appreciate the importance of. Dr Bruce knows what he is doing, is very measured and methodical and you know it will all be okay. You trust him implicitly and the results affirm this trust. His team are friendly, polite, knowledgeable and efficient - everything you could ask for. As you can see, I thoroughly recommend....if you visit, you will never look back (!)

Unlike everywhere else I have been about my back, Optimal Align actually care. Their investigations are thorough, using x-rays, posture photos and examination to diagnose and advise the best course of treatment. The treatment will be tailored for you. Recovery is not instant, it takes a lot of work on both sides. The staff are amazing, they know all their clients by name, are all easy to get along with and they're all hilarious. The clinic has a very calm atmosphere, often with calm music playing, they even have a positivity jar. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I first started seeing Bruce just over a year ago for chronic lower back pain. What I failed to realise was that by seeing him I would improve almost every aspect of my life. Bruce and his team provide a welcoming space where you exercise and get adjusted. I will say what impressed me most was his holistic approach to my health. I arrived homesick and a little depressed. My first session with Bruce was surprising as he asked questions about things that I thought were unrelated to Chiropractic care but I answered honestly. I had a compressed disc and was very depressed about a lot of things despite being outwardly positive. I was also very stressed and not unsure of myself. While in Bruce's care I have continued to feel better on every level. My back which was so bad I couldn't sleep properly is now pain free, we got pregnant really easily in November last year and I am no longer stressed and feel much more resilient. The best part of my story with Chiropractic care relates to my daughter, Eilidh, who was breech at 36 weeks. I was very upset as I wanted a natural delivery so I contacted Bruce who adjusted me before the ECV could be performed. When I arrived at the appointment I was told to go home as my baby was cephalic, this was all down to Bruce making space for baby to turn. Throughout my pregnancy I went for regular adjustments I think this contributed to my very short active labour (5hrs for a first time mother) and my very healthy happy baby. I would strongly recommend anyone struggling with stress, back pain or issues relating to fertility or pregnancy contact Bruce's team for a consultation. My whole family now sees Bruce regularly and we are all happier and healthier because of it.

I was in severe pain with my left leg and painkillers werent helping. I was barely able to stand or take a few excruciating steps. From the go Bruce explained they that it was his goal to fix the issue with my spine not just pain relief. I have been seeing Bruce and the team for some time now with back issues. I started going three times a week and now I go once a month. I have very few issues now with my original problem and even a new issue that has occurred has improved significantly. Originally I went to the clinic as it was next to my office and very convenient, but I'm still going there even though I no longer work next door and live 45 minutes away. I suffered with really bad migraines that caused a lot of pain. I got referred to optimal align chiropractic and it had been amazing. It is not only one of the cleanest and well maintained places it actually works. The members of staff are friendly, professional and efficient. They take you though each process step by step, from Bruce’s carefully cracking you back into place and making sure you were comfortable with everything he did. He has been wonderful. You also have exercises to do and traction which are helped but two of the most loveliest people. Sacha is very helpful and makes sure you know what your doing and works perfectly a long side Katie who is just all round amazing. She is kind, caring and always greet you with a smile. I am very pleased with my results as my head aches have reduced in frequency massively. I was struggling with my posture as i had an accident at work and i did not realize that it was the reason i was suffering with my posture, sleep, extreme fatigue and i was having nightmares and i was exhausted all the time, i was suffering for as long as i can remember about 2 years. When I first went there I couldn't stand upright, because I have an ongoing knee problem that has exacerbated a back problem! It was very painful to stand upright and I hoped that Bruce could do something about it. Well, he did! Bruce and team at Optimal Align are a fantastic, helpful and enthusiastic group of people. I have been to chiros that seem to just spin you on a merry go round of spinal manipulations that dont have a clear direction! Bruce however, provided me with an initial xray and performed physical tests that provide a clear indication of what my problem is as well as a clear GOAL to achieve with treatment! All of which was displayed on Bruce's super cool tech setup of course! (I finally have a reference point of which to work from!) I immediately found relief in my neck and upper back from the first two treatments and later felt changes in my overall posture, balance and muscle tension. Carefully done spinal manipulations, home exercises, advanced traction and exercise equipment in the studio all helped me achieve this! Over the Christmas period , i had suffered a back problem which was so intense that i couldnt even walk properly with crutches. First went to Bruce a year and a bit ago. Had a motorcycle crash and combined with a work neck injury from working too hard. I went for a try out after suffering deeply with killer headaches, neck pains, sleep problems and large amount of painkillers to get through the day. Within Two weeks of treatment. Any headaches I had disappeared also dropped my painkillers down from 6 a day to once a week if necessary. I spent a whole year of dealing with the NHS trying to find out the issue which Bruce figured out after a xray in a silly short amount of time. Well worth every penny and pound. I have been going to optimal align chiropractic for a few months now with shoulder, neck and back pains and after going for a while, i am starting to feel less pains and can do many things i couldn’t do before due to pain, mainly from my shoulder. i have been able to get back to my sport properly and train at a high level again. bruce always makes sure i’m comfortable and makes sure to never do anything that could hurt me or make me uncomfortable and has really helped with everything, and is always kind and chatty, and will always explain why he’s doing things. katie is very friendly and welcoming and always helps with everything, and is very easy to talk to and is very good at showing you how to do the exercises you have to do. sacha has recently joined this amazing team and has picked everything up very quickly and is very good at making sure all your exercises and traction’s are done properly. the whole place and building is very nice and very warm and welcoming, and has adapted really well to the current conditions with covid going around. the whole team always wears their ppe and always makes sure to check people before they come in and make sure they have had no symptoms or anything like that. it’s a very professional group with only your best interests and heart and will do everything they can to help.
