I’ve hugely benefited from Paul’s services in overcoming exam nerves - I couldn’t recommend him enough. It’s amazing how well the techniques work - what he does is literally life changing!

Really helpful in all aspects of life, hypnotherapy sessions are great as Paul has lots of experience and offers a bespoke Solutions for different problems.
I have been attending for around 6 months and can 100% say it has improved my metal health.

Paul must be the best therapist I have come across. He helped my autistic son to gain self esteem and confidence, for which I am truly grateful. He is very experienced, but with an ability to put you at ease and he is very approachable, while being thorough. I have recommended Paul to other people, because he is so good at what he does. You won't be disappointed. Thanks Paul I have my son back.

Paul recently helped me through a difficult period in my life.
I found Paul to be very empathetic and understanding and he took the time to really listen to gain understanding of the situation and to offer a range of personalised solutions.
He offered such kindness and professionalism and made me feel at ease with confiding in him.

I contacted Paul initially to help with weight loss and very quickly felt comfortable with Paul's friendly and intuitive approach. After only a couple of sessions I was making good progress and the pounds were slowly coming off. I decided to explore other personal issues with Paul and can honestly say that the time spent with Paul and the hypnotherapy that he provided has had a very positive and lasting impact on my life.

I am amazed by the level of commitment that Paul invests into the recovery of his clients like myself.
Resolved Hypnotherapy has helped me come to terms recently to recognise that emotions are okay but the anxieties that overpower my feelings needn't be there.
his use of mindfulness techniques of meditation have really been effective in helping me to be and feel less stressed. From each session I've had so far he has emailed me a recording which has helped me not to forget the techniques

This time last year I had a very anxious son who had many battles with different things, food being his biggest enemy and travel a close second. It was beginning to take over his life and having a big impact on the family life too. We saw Paul for a very short time, 4 or 5 sessions in total spread out over a number of weeks and I could see big changes happen very quickly. My son is now a different child, he is now the carefree teenager he should be with little or no worries now.
I cannot recommend Paul highly enough, he has helped my son in so many ways and for that I will always be grateful!

I chose to see Paul after speaking to several hypnotherapists on the telephone. He seemed to know how I could be helped and he seemed to understand how it felt to be me. I saw Paul for four sessions and I now feel better. I feel like I did twenty years ago, before certain things happened which left me feeling horrible and angry. Paul was friendly, compassionate and I actually enjoyed going for therapy with him.

Paul helped me beyond explanation. His unique and personal approach to counselling via hypnotherapuetic techniques blew me away. Having never experienced hypnotherapy before I didn't know what to expect but it was serene, calming and soothing, helping me deal with a messy tangle of emotions that dated as far back in my life as I could remember.
Never, alone, could I have understood how I felt or worked through what was preventing me from moving forward and being content/happy in the aspects of my life I was struggling with.
I have reccommended Paul to many of my friends and even family members as I know he would be able to help them as he did me. I'll always be grateful to Paul and his, quite honestly, life changing work.

Paul is an absolute star. I can’t express my gratitude enough for the change he has helped me realise in my life. He is professional but personable, caring and thoughtful but strong enough to push me when I need it and gentle enough when he feels it.
Therapy can be a scary process but Paul genuinely made me feel 100% supported from the first 10 minutes I met him.
Thank you Paul, for everything.

I had a few sessions with Paul over the last 3 years. I have never found it easy to talk openly and still don`t.
I needed someone that I could talk openly with and Paul did a great job coaxing out my bad bits and helping me to turn them into good bits!
His recordings are sublime, at times comical and entirely relaxing.
He was very honest with me which is exactly what I needed and then when I needed empathy, he offered that in bucket loads.
I got back in touch recently after not seeing him all year and shared some very dark thoughts which were relentlessly pushing me downwards.
He offered support in a very direct way and having told him something very dark and profound enabled me to change my thought patterns and seek help not just from my GP but from within.
What a lovely lovely man he is.

Best thing I ever did. If you are ever in doubt about whether to give hypnotherapy a go, be assured that this man can and will change your life.
I now know that no fear, worry or idea is ever to big to explore, manage or cure, thanks to Paul. I have visited him for two separate issues over a period of time, no more than three sessions were needed for each issue. Paul was also kind enough to follow up even after I no longer needed his help.
I have recommended Resolved Hypnotherapy to a friend who has since visited Paul, and will continue to recommend should I cross paths with anyone else considering hypnotherapy. Thank you Paul, so very very much.

I am halfway through therapy for stress related IBS. I am a professional in a high stress major company.. why did I wait so long to seek help should have found Paul years ago. Don't suffer a mental issue p.s does sport performance as well. I do not come forward easily but in Paul's case he is brilliant. Compassionate and already worked through so much in 3 sessions. His background is what sets him apart from the crowd. He is a therapist as well as hypnothepist. Call him and he will talk you through the process. He is confidentially bound so u can be Assured of discretion. There are lots of prove advertising therapy out there but I vote with my health. Call paul. Thank you paul

It is a delight to happen across people who have found their vocation and are a natural at what they do. When I contacted Paul, I had no idea what hypnotherapy entailed, I was failing repeatedly with quitting smoking, and remembered a good friend speaking very highly of Paul. Turned out that whilst i went for smoking, Paul helped me address extreme circumstances and intense anxiety that I am experiencing presently. Paul has a way of contextualising and calming even the most distressing emotions and I found myself going back again and again. He has a natural grace in his hypnosis and a knack of getting to the crux of the issues. Some statements Paul made during our hypnosis sessions will stay with me for the rest of my life. Paul is invested in the recovery/empowerment of his clients and I was genuinely bowled over by the level of commitment Paul gives. I would thoroughly recommend Paul :)

Paul helped me to come to terms with Tinnitus. I went to him feeling very stressed and completely at my wits end with the noise in my ears. Very quickly, he was able to convince me to forget all about it for most of the time and to get back to my usual happy self, feeling confident that I could resume a normal life with this condition. His approach was kind and caring and he used Mindfulness techniques
of meditation which have been really effective - especially as he recorded these sessions and emailed them to me so that I could listen at home. I feel so much better! He was brilliant.

Paul is a good hypnotherapist and helped me do things I never thought I would of been capable of. I'm a lot more confident now and hypnotherapy is something I never would of thought of doing but I did and I'm feeling loads better now. If your thinking of going for hypnotherapy I say do it. You only live once and you've got to make the best of it.

I contacted Paul after a spate of spider incidents in the autumn of 2017 left me feeling like my arachnaphobia was more than just the normal dislike of spdiers. I would be anxious constantly and whenever my partner was away (in the army so frequent!) I hated being at home!
I spoke to Paul initially on the phone to discuss in more detail and how he would approach this and was made to feel at ease instantly and after just one phone call felt more positive that there was a way out of this mental mess I had built up in my mind.
I had 3 sessions with Paul in total receiving a recording of the therapy after each so I could practice at home and re-inforce what we had worked on.
Just a few weeks ago at a friends I had a chance to put my new skills into practice and was able to catch a spider in a glass and pop him outside. I now will happily look at spiders and deal with them.
Thank you Paul for helping me make this change my life is honestly so much calmer for it!

Some ten years ago, our adult son, then aged 28, returned home to live with we parents after he experienced a mental breakdown, and it became clear that he could not live on his own. This followed numerous failures to succeed in many workplace situations nor enjoy meaningful friendships. His dedication and compliant nature left him vulnerable to derision and bullying, with the consistent end result of his having to walk away from jobs he enjoyed and individuals he thought were “friends”. His self-esteem and confidence continued to worsen, until after five years, a GP referred our son to a clinical psychologist, who diagnosed Aspergers ASD. Had this condition been diagnosed in childhood, support would have been readily forthcoming for our son, but the regretful admission by the psychologist that help in adulthood would be difficult to access proved devastatingly correct.
Although medication to some extent helped, the GP was in no doubt that psychotherapy was required, but NHS resources were not focussing on the specific high functioning autism, which is characteristic of Aspergers. Even charitable and other private organisations supposedly offering assistance so often failed our son, sometimes causing his afflictions to deteriorate further. The world became a hostile and intimidating environment, and eventually our son felt unable to leave the safety of his room. Becoming housebound thus restricted his ability to seek help, for no therapists were prepared to make home visits.
However, we searched the internet intensely for a psychotherapist (a) qualified in treating Aspergers and (b) able to do so in the patient’s home. We thus discovered Paul Hughes ADHP (NC) MNHSP UKCP, who readily agreed to visit our son for treatment at home. Sessions were arranged weekly for some months, thence fortnightly and finally monthly. Paul Hughes’ techniques succeeded in reducing our son’s emotional trauma relating to events stretching back to early childhood. This in turn unlocked the notion that strategies were required to manage his position in the world of neuro-typicality, a path which our son continues to deploy beneficially.
Our son now feels counselling with Paul Hughes via the Vsee video-link system continues to bring benefits, without reliance on personal visits. We will always be thankful for Paul in bringing his expertise into our home – the only psychotherapist to do so - a feature so desperately sought by our son who felt abandoned clinically and socially. Our immense gratitude is awarded Paul Hughes, whose service are recommended unreservedly.

Paul helped me come to terms with what was a very difficult in my life. I met him at a very low point and left him almost as high as kite!! Haha. Seriously though he is incisive personable and very professional in his approach. And a lovely man to boot (Not in the kicking sense!!!).

I started seeing Paul in January, with a view to tackling my terrible relationship with food. Rather than just encouraging me to stop eating certain food stuffs, he helped me to explore the reasons why I turn to food. Three months down the line, I now have a far better understanding of why I do what I do, which in turn gives me the tools I need to confront any bumps in the road. Thank you Paul!

Paul is a brilliant therapist who puts anyone at ease with his relaxed and sympathetic approach. Easy to talk to and is confident at tackling a range of issues. Would highly recommend.

I would highly recommend Paul as he puts you quickly at ease, listens extremely well, asks all the right questions and through relaxation techniques and a recording that you get to keep after each visit he can help you overcome any hurdles you may encounter. Professional, friendly, he knows his stuff.

I wish I'd done this ages ago. Paul made the whole process comfortable and was reassuring, kind and professional.
Hypnotherapy was better than I'd hoped or thought it could be. If you need some help then I recommend it. Thanks Paul.

Paul was extremely helpful. I went in with a problem and left with it 'resolved'. The whole experience was easy, pleasant and I have no problem in recommending him to others.
All the best

Hello Paul
Thanks ever so much for helping me. I didn't know what to do with myself before i came to see you. I thought nobody could help and wondered if I'd ever find a way to get out of feeling depressed. You helped me to let go of my negativity. I can't thank you enough.
I hope that others read this and give hypnotherapy a try.
