Excellent fun for the family. Gigantic dinosaur walking puppet shows, bumper cars (without the bumping), water play, walks, crazy golf and on and on.
Cafés, toilets, rubbish bins plenty. Food on offer was good, healthy and varied.
Not too busy in school holidays (went on a Saturday) and very pleasant crowd.

I'm definitely not going to disrespect this place, it's been a location that we and a group friends decided to get-together once a year as we're from different areas of England and its a central point and have been doing so for over a decade. For the first time this year, we actually got off our backsides from our chairs and walked the grounds and around the lake.
Its a beautiful location with plenty of things for families to occupy themselves. An animal area, train rides and play areas. The one thats been taken out over the years is the boats that we would have loved to have spent some time on as a group.

It’s really expensive for what it is to get in but there is plenty to do and see. Sand pits for kids. Play area for kids. Also, a small scale farm that kids would enjoy too. The café is okay. Nice lake views and paths for walking. Multiple BBQ areas for a public barbecue. At least the entrance fee includes parking which is good. Parking could be better though. Some hidden spots. Then drive on and there are more. It’s dog friendly. Although pricey it’s totally worth it as a treat. A kids paradise though so if you don’t have kids then there are plenty of free lake view options not too far from this place.

Wow so many playgrounds kids loved it. Farm water fountains for kids to run through, mini golf, jumping pillow (bouncy castle/trampoline type thing), nature walks, camping omg can you squeeze any more fun for the kids... Yep there's a dinosaur bit, go kart thing, train ride, various cafe around, sand pits and I have probably missed something... But what a great weekend!!

Great park, nice and clean and felt quiet even though the car park was busy. Halloween activities suitable for all ages. Lovely morning out.

A nice park for kids to enjoy and adults to relax. There is jumping pillow, train ride(we have to pay £1 per person which is not included in the ticket), paid car ride for kids, and variety of play areas. A small Dinosaur park with different species. My kid really loved the dinosaur park. There is also splash pool(only for kids), farm animals (you can feed them, which you can buy at the ticket center). We liked the story telling and the dance show as well (they happen only in some particular timings as mentioned at the entrance). Totally, a good place to visit. You won't be disappointed.

Brilliant day out my son loved it! Really well looked after and lots of things to do and see. Gem mining was particularly good fun!

I went there for a Halloween weekend trip... A very nice theme park for kids , lots of fun filled play areas and activities for kids... they have a animal farm with a petting area , a small lake for fishing as well... a nice little shop to buy toys and nice cafe too...
It was a fun filled event.
They have plenty of parking spaces too.

GREAT AFTERNOON OUT. Plenty to do and see . Feed the alpacas and goats. Great day for the kids . THIS ATTRACTION DOES NOT ACCEPT CASH. CARD PAYMENTS ONLY .

This is one of our favourite days out. Not very cheap for a family but there is so much to do, we never manage to cover it all in a day! From a splash park, bouncing pillow, sand pits & adventure park to a petting zoo & dinosaurs, children from toddlers to older will enjoy themselves. It has always been clean & has a couple of nice cafes. It is useful they have marquees if you take a picnic & it's raining or very sunny. Really recommend for a family day out. Their campsite is lovely too!

Fantastic day out, 2 children aged 18month and 4 year old, both had a great day. Plenty of walking around the park. Loads of different areas including a splash zone and the adventure parks are separated by well kept grounds. Food was really nice inside the main entrance.
Plenty of room for parking. Few different routes you could walk around the lake also.
Would definitely visit again.

Wellington is amazing, the children (4&1) had a great time. There is so much to do which was great as we stayed for 3 nights. We camped so was able to use the part after closing. A great way to be out in nature, entertainment for the children all while feeling safe. Would definitely come back here again.

Fantastic family day out! Plenty play areas for the kids, train ride(extra cost) bouncing pillow, farm animals(food to feed them cost extra) panning for gemstones (bag of sand and stones bought in gift shop)and a splash area (take childrens swimsuits) An area dedicated to large figures of dinosaurs with sound effects! (One niece loves dinosours) Beautiful location to walk around. Lots of tables if you take a picnic. A restaurant just inside entrance serves hot meals, sweet treats, drinks then there is a cafe on the other side of the park serving drinks and ice creams. The weather wasn't the best but as a last day out treat before school starts my nieces (4 and 7) thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Adults too!

Spacious and has lots of things for kids to do. Train ride, adventure playground, feeding the animals and even all inclusive parties. Lots of fun

Such a great country park! The place is so well maintained and clean, there is so much to do for young children, it’s a full day trip! My son loved the farm and the dinosaur park, there were also so many great adventure parks. The train ride is also well worth the £1 ticket, you get to see so many things on the ride, so much thought and effort has gone into making a this a great family day out, very impressed!

Great campsite, with a big country park for you to explore. Good clean facilities that are central to the campsite.

Absolutely fantastic day at Wellington Country Park - I can't believe we didn't discover it sooner!! There is so much to do there - the kids had the best day ever - it wasn't too busy considering it was a bank holiday and we didn't have to wait long for anything. It's a well looked after place and everything was clean - and generally a really nice place to be. They really have thought of everything when it comes to young families and their needs. We cannot wait to come back again soon. Thank you for giving us such a fantastic day that we will remember!

Great place to take young children from the ages of two up to about thirteen, loads of play areas ranging from sand pits to small and large slides, there is a small area with all kinds of farm animals, it has a ride on railway train, a good dinosaur trail for the younger children, the restaurant has snacks and a small menu for lunches, there are lots of picnic tables scattered around the park, you could easily spend all day here. Well worth a visit 10/10.

Lots and lots of fun parks with hours of fun for toddlers. We took our two year old and she loved feeding the animals. The enchanted forest was great fun but she was a bit scared by the dinosaurs. Definitely worth the money for a day out.

Great place to bring kids of almost all ages. There is ample parking with sufficient overflow parking as well. Easy to find off the main road and all areas are clearly signposted. The park itself is very well maintained and we saw active disinfecting between uses of certain activities.

We really like Wellington and visit a few times per year. There is lots to do with the family. The splash park is especially a hit with children. Lots of picnic benches to enjoy a picnic, which I recommend doing, as food options are limited and the waits are long (they are building a new cafe though). It makes for an expensive day out though and it's a shame the train ride is an extra cost upon arrival rather than being included in the price.

Camped here a couple of weeks ago. Staff were amazing. Sam was extremely helpful. Toilet/shower facilities were very clean (clean enough for my 3 disabled children to happily use them). The park is a little lacking in things to do for the money, but if you're camping the prices are worth the visit.

Beautifully laid out with a long walk around the lake if you want it or shorter walks to the attractions. The animals look well cared for and it's lovely experience to feed them. Adventure playgrounds, dinosaurs and a splash zone. So much to do.

Great place to go out for the day!
It is a little on the pricey side, but there’s plenty for the children to do there.
A large park, a ship, lots of little play areas, a lovely little farm, splash pad, crazy golf, sand pits, dinosaur trail and a fairy garden/play area.
You can also get tickets to ride the train and go on the cars or buy bags of sand and pan for gems.
They have cafes for food or you can take a picnic.
They have lots of toilets around the park as well. They even have a little soft play center for the really young children.

So much to do!! We had an amazing time with our 5 year old. Not much indoor activity but we brought a giant umbrella for when it rained. Jumping pillow (trampoline type thing), multiple climbing frames - very creatively designed, dinosaurs (with sounds - may be scary for little children), bouncy castle obstacle course done many times (not sure if that's always there), the train was brilliant - lots of fun attention to detail, free mini golf, and ended the day with an incredible walk through the deer pen. Toilets could have been cleaner but enough of them dotted around. Didn't go to the farm or walk round the lake. Totally worth the money in my opinion.

What an amazing day. So much to see and do. The restaurant is a little bit pricey but you can take your own food. Only thing I will say is they need more watering stations for dogs (I took my own) but I had owners asking if I knew where any water was. Love the splash area and train ride. Use to come her alot growing up and the changes are really good.

Very lucky to visit on a warm day when not too busy as most children back at school. Splash Park, Train and Adventure Playground massive hit with our 4 year old. Shame don't offer Amy discounts for NHS or Military staff, which seems at odds with Lord Wellington's patronage.

Visited today with our 2 Grandsons a 2 terrier dogs, we have been here several times before.
Lots to do and very friendly staff from beginning to end.plenty of rest areas.
The weather dictates what goes on here as when the sun was out it was lovely just to sit and sink up the sun but today the sun very rarely shine which cannot be blamed on The Wellington Park!
Would definitely recommend this place to young families with children 2 to 10.Something missing here maybe an Archery or some form of sport to be added to the facilities
Enjoyable day very relaxed if a tad expensive refreshments wise.

We (3 families) did 2 night camping at pits with electricity. Generous area for the pit and very nice environment. Facilities are great maintained. Camping price includes the park visit is amazing when the day ticket costs £14 per person.
E. P.
Great park, with campsite. We camped there for 2 nights and it was brilliant , you have free access and after hours access to the park included in your camp fees which really makes it worth it. . The entertainment was brilliant all the different play areas, water play, animal farm and many more made sure our 6 yr old was not bored for 1 minute. Food shops were a bit expensive, but the restaurant was fairly priced . If you camp it doesn't matter as you can Cook your own food.

Really enjoyed our day here, I would say having to pay full price for a 3 year old is a little steep and perhaps a lower rate for under 4s would be more appropriate. We were happy to pay extra for the train which was definitely my little boys favourite and the train driver was a lovely friendly man. Animal food seems cheap at £1 but very small amount so I don't think we would bother with that next time but all in all a good day out that we would do again! Also very much appreciated the covered picnic areas!
J. N.
Very expensive, full price from age 2. Nice place, large open space and lots of playgrounds. Lovely train ride and also car driving for small children but not included in price. Dinosaur walk impressive, café reasonable. Children enjoyed it, nice as a treat.

If time we been to the park. It was a lovely day, nice and sunny. I was happy to pay the adult price of £16.95 and the extra for the train ride for my little one. However, I don’t see how the I had to pay £16.95 for my 3 and half year old. I think it’s a little pricy for their age. I will be happy to return more times of the price for under 4 or 5’s were lower, around £8 or £10.

Great country park, ideal for children with lots to do. Great for taking your van/caravan. Good facilities including showers, toilets and washer /dryer at very reasonable prices. Friendly staff and just such beautiful surroundings.
Highly recommended

At the gate, I thought it was a total rip off charging £15 per adult and counting children as young as 2 years old for £13 but once we got inside and looked at the map properly, I quickly ate my words. It's amazing, plus they allow you to bring your own food in to bbq or have picnics without needing to spend at any of their cafes which is unusual for country parks like this. It had a bit of everything and the extras were only £1pp like the train ride (very fun for adults and kids) and the duck/animal feed.
A really good day out if you can afford it. Can easily keep kids entertained and once you're in, the cost is very low.
K. L.
Absolutely brilliant park - probably the best one we've visited! So much to do for all ages and abilities. You can easily spend all day there and it's not enough - well worth the money. We took picnic along but food wasn't too expensive in the cafés. We will definitely visit again in the near future - I couldn't find anything to complain about and I usually do 😄

Excellent day out for the kids and family. Lots of nice play areas and different activities for the kids. We have visited many times now and will continue. The admission is somewhat pricey though!

We had a family day out here with my grandson yesterday. He is still too young to fully appreciate the facilities yet, but I was very impressed with the multiple areas for young kids to play in. The park is large enough to give little ones space to play on the various attractions, without being too busy to be concerned about lot's of kids cramming onto particular play areas, due to the wide choice. There are also an impressively large number of picnic tables available all over the park, which gave people choices to get plotted and enjoy their picnic. I have read that it is expensive, but what isn't these days? 4 adults, booked on-line, was £67.80, with an under one free. I don't know what the charge is for older kids. Add on the picnic and it's a very enjoyable day out for under £100. Job done.

Excellent day out for toddlers. We really enjoyed visiting Welly Tots which is an indoor role play area that opens on weekdays during term time. Little one also loved the train and the splash zone. The overall facilities are excellent. Brilliant day out.
L. M.
Fantastic park, so many playgrounds. Was a little disappointed that after a reasonable entry price, you also had to pay for the train and other rides. However, the kids loved it and voted to go back next year; it must be good!
R. S.
We adore Wellington as a family. Wonderful facilities and so much to do! There's ample parking and various different places around to get a coffee and a snack you dint have to go back to the main cafe. There's a little softplay for unders 2's and a small playground for little ones a bigger playground for the older ones which is great the little ones don't get trampled on! A lovely walk around the lake and a great petting farm. The train ride is a little gem and decorated differently for different events. A huge sandpit and jump pillow as well!
P. H.
Despite the rain we had the best day. So much for the kids to enjoy, great value for money and staff were super kind and helpful. Will definitely go back, hopefully with better weather too!
C. B.
Always a fun family day out, you can really spend a whole day here unlike several other places!
Loads to do, from the really good farm (yes you can feed the animals), to excellent playgrounds, sand and water play areas, a massive water splash area, the dinosaur area, mini golf.
There's plenty of places to have a picnic, several places to buy food, snacks and hot drinks (although the coffee is very average).
You can pay extra for a few activities, the train ride, electric quad bike trail and a few other bits.
Right now, for to Covid a few things are shut or not happening, so the soft play is out of action and the indoor petting area at the farm is closed.
A. N.
At £17 for anyone over 2, it is incredibly expensive, but you do get a lot of bang for your buck. Playground after playground, bouncy castles, tractors, diggers, animals to feed, train rides, splash park, and dinosaurs, my 2.5 year old had an absolute ball. We won't be back every week, but a great treat once in a while.
On the whole the service (lots of summer student hires) is good, but sadly I overheard one young member of staff use a very offensive racial slur in conversation with a colleague. It's not exactly the fault of the Park, but it was shocking to hear none the less and I regret not saying something at the time.
K. A.
Lovely place with lots to do for my 4 year old son! Several play grounds, bouncy pillow, crazy golf, sand and water play, dinosaur exhibition, splash park! Great day out!
l. w.
Was a great day out for kids. Loads of parks, soft play for under 2, splash pad, train for an extra £1. The only criticism is the cost £16.95 per person including children over 2.
The restaurant as you enter was a little disorganised and the staff not very friendly ( although it could just of been a bad day. The lady in front of me was rude to the girl serving).
A. B.
Looking for somewhere to go with the family, this place came highly recommended. To cut a long story short, I'd definitely come back here.
It's awfully similar in concept to places like Finkley Down and 4 Kingdoms; that's to say there's a bunch of play equipment around and a small part with some farm animals you can interact with. The playgrounds are varied and perhaps most importantly for a day spent outdoors, there's lots of shade available to keep the little ones cool.
I unfortunately can't comment on the food from the canteen-type counter near the entrance because we took a picnic. There's lot of picnic areas and benches dotted around to make use of. We did have a coffee from the hut round the other side though, and prices were about what you'd expect.
r. b.
Essentially a set of playgrounds surrounding a lake, but varied enough to keep little ones entertained, and enough there to plan pretty much a whole day around.
However it is expensive £17 for adults and my 4yo child - each, to get in. If you can keep them entertained for 3+ hrs, I guess it's good value compared to softplay, but when they upsell for the train (£1 each) and animal feed (£1 a bag) it all adds up.
R. W.
Lovely place the park is aimed at 3-8 year olds so older kids may not find enough to do. Camping site was wonderful, but a bit pricey at peak times. At times there were only 2 campers (Caravans) on site which may be pricing or covid restrictions.
G. R.
Great place, just a bit pricey.
We took our (17 month old) son and he had a great time. Theres lots for kids to see/do and I was extremely impressed with the park in general.
The staff obviously put a lot of care/attention into keeping the park looking nice. Great work everyone at Wellington.
There are model dinosaurs, a miniature train, mini golf, lots of playground for all ages, a small farm with a good selection of animals and lots of benches to picnic on. Lots to see and do, and the facilities were very well kept.
My only gripe is the price. Whilst not exorbitant, it's not cheap either. The fact that children ages 2+ pay the same price as an adult seems a bit off putting. The annual pass follows a similar pricing model at £135/person (Marwell Zoo is £66). If it were cheaper I would buy one for my family, but I don't have £405 to spend when I can pay for National Trust and a Marwell membership and still have some left over.
