Found bamboo on compare the market - liked that I could do a soft search application to check my chances of being accepted without affecting my credit report. The whole thing was done really quickly. Only a little glitch where I needed to validate my mobile number and the code didn’t get sent. So I called their offices and spoke to a lovely lady who gave me the code and soon as I put it in it approved the loan. It Even gave me the choice of what day suits me for the re-payment. Excellent service and would definitely recommend.

Great company if your credit rating is low. They are very helpful and even though I didn't get immediate approval, as they are asking Covid related questions due to the current climate, they were always courteous and professional. Just a heads up, the sliders on home page do not give a true reflection of repayments etc you may eventually get only a, worst case scenerio so to speak. You are best to apply and this will do a "soft search" and will also give a more taylored APR% for you (mine was lower)

I had NEVER heard about Bamboo loans before and I thought that they would be just like all the other loan companies that promise you everything only to find a reason to refuse the loan. Not Bamboo. An agent called to explain what else was needed to progress my application. Gave 5 stars because never had a problem with these guys from the get go. Nearing the end of the payments and fully paying up. I was thinking of topping up loan as in need of a new car. One down point thou I’ve always paid on time and without fail. Was really looking to get a top up loan over the next few days due to insurance being renewed next month wanted to make sure could buy a car for that day. There was a link on the website saying I could top up my loan. But last week missed a payment by 3 days the first time I’ve ever done since opening the account in 2015 (4 years) when I brought my first car. The problem I am facing now is I am now unable to top up my loan due to this missed payment by 3 days. Spoke to customer service and was advised to be elegible to top up I need to continue to making payments on time which the next payment would have been, as set up a standing order in my account. It’s the first time I’ve missed a payment due to not being paid on the day. So yes in conclusion I am very happy with bamboo as a loan company and would recommend it to anyone. But also a little upset that I’ve never failed to pay back the owed money and always on time but now when I need it most unable to top up my loan when it’s needed.
