First visit and we popped in for lunch. It was midweek so we hadn't booked, as it was quiet. A fairly good menu with pub classics like pies and fish and chips. The food was good and nice size portions. I loved the homemade cheesecake. The team were nice and friendly. Will visit again, especially as its so close to knypersley reservoir.

We went here for dinner today. From booking over the phone to leaving after our meal everything was spot on. In particular a girl named Sue was fantastic and really friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her. Took my mother in law for lunch yesterday (Saturday). Really nice inside, fantastic food, we had lasagne, followed by cheescake. It was £7.50 for two courses! It was really busy too, which says a lot. Lovely staff. We will definitely be back.

We were seated at our table in the marquee. Tables were spaced appropriately and I was very happy in the marquee as the room was airy which made us feel more comfortable. I had steak and my partner had fish and chips. The food was delicious, great portions, came in a timely manner and service with a smile. I would highly recommend anyone to visit here. Also I highly commend the manager on shift. Rules are in place with number of people on tables to keep us all safe and It was nice to see these rules being broken not being tolerated. This for me gives you bonus points!!!

The food was delicious and a good size, we couldn't even squeeze in a dessert! The waitress was lovely and polite, and even offered to provide a bowl of water for our dog. The fire was lit when we arrived which made the place cosy and warm. I highly recommend a visit!

What a fantastic meal in terms of taste ,value, and presentation 10/10 .service was fantastic and nothing was to much and the male waiter even offered my daughter a free pudding if she finished her meal , which she couldnt but she some how still had room for the fantastic cheesecake of the day . This was my grandads(95yrs old) first time out since covid and the staff made it safe and special for him (with some help from 3 double house whiskeys lol) . Thank you for today , we will be back

Our local, great food and great atmosphere. Very reasonably priced. Proper cosy place to enjoy a drink and meal. 4/7/2020 update Me and my partner are still isolating even though the pubs have reopened, so ordered a takeaway 3 course meal of our favorites! It was absolutely fantastic, hot and tasty just like eating in the restaurant. The management made an exception for us as takeaway is something they may trial whilst still following lockdown. Thanks for making it such an easy thing and onece again it was absolutely delicious.

Went to this pub when it was recommend to us by our son in law. A fantastic atmosphere the staff that work here are very friendly and nothing is to much trouble for them. The food is fantastic all freshly prepared and cooked and a lot of choice on the menu and a very good price. We would highly recommend the top pub at brown edge to anyone. Excellent dog friendly pub, food is top notch. Lovely beer garden and the pub is very clean and tidy. Just be aware of the loud mouth yocal who loves the sound of his own voice and wants it turning back into a an old fashioned pub ( he's not one for change and loves swearing )

Great food at a great price. The sharer starter makes a meal, it was a very large portion. The burgers, pies and lamb have all been amazing. Staff are also very helpful with food allergies. I highly recommend this pub!

The food was delicious, with good options for vegetarians; including one of the best vegetarian lasagna dishes I've tasted. All the meals were delivered to the table at the same time. There are Ales on tap, a friendly homely environment and Kate made us feel very comfortable and welcome. The Top Pub is a true gem of a find and we'll be adding it to out list of regular places to eat.
