J. T.We had a very pleasant couple of hours at Mizens. It was our first ever visit and we were not disappointed in the least. The staff were friendly and informative and the train ride exceeded any expectations we may have had. Will definitely be visiting again
F.Been three times with my daughter this year so that says it all. She loves it. It is worn down and the teddies etc along the route could do with a lot of updating but she loves it and that I suppose is the overriding consideration. All the volunteers are awesome.
A. J.This is a great place to go with a family. The staff are lovely and give youngsters plenty of attention and care. The train rides are great with loads to see and there is a good refreshment area with a shop for souvenirs. Well worth a visit.

Christmas Santa Special was amazing with so many friendly helpful people working to make it special for the family and children!
A. M.A group of we 3 new dads took our 17 month old children to Mizens. The place was pretty full which should give you an idea of how popular it is. The sun was out and there were plenty of trains running. Because the weather was hot there weren't many outdoor seats available but there was plenty of space inside the nice cafe. The tickets were inexpensive and the rides were fun. Did the babies enjoy it? Possibly. Did the Dads? Absolutely!
L. C.Wonderful. My two year old is train obsessed and loved the train rides. Volunteers are very friendly and the gift shop is reasonable.

B.I used to love this place when I was younger and still do, the staff are extremely kind towards everyone and the railway is amazing in all seasons, scenery is incredible and some stuffed animals scattered around, the trains are great and a good variety of them, if you have a chance visit this amazing place and support the staff

B.Always love going to Mizens,we went this time to the grotto which I've heard great things about, gifts were OK but never had a fab gift for the kids at a grotto anyways, it's worth the money, well priced for the train ride, gifts, seeing santa and adults got a hot drink and mince pie afterwards, it's run completely by volunteers and they are really lovely, friendly and chatty. You'll never fail to have a great time at Mizens.

G. C.Absolutely loved it as did my 2 year old boy. We went round twice on two different trains. Each h journey was about 10 minutes. Lots of little things to look at as you are riding around on the train. Will definitely come here again. Its was on a very sunny day but the queues were not too bad. First time got on almost straight away. Second time had to wait about 15 minutes. It wasn't too boring though as you can watch all the different engines coming in to the platform. Also not expensive at all. Great value.

A. H.Really nice miniature railway place. The volunteers do a really good job. Even got a station master who dresses up. Sometimes get free trips at the end of the day. Trips are 2.50 each. It has a tunnel which my little one loves. The Christmas and Halloween displays are really good.

L. A.Our family came from the states to visit family and I had no idea what to expect from a minature railway. It was so much fun and the staff was wonderful! Some of the trains were down (maybe because of the heat?), but it was still a great outing for us. We will definitely be back!
H. B.I love this place, it is a slice of childhood and escapism. Perfect for a trip out and worth visiting, especially if local. The different train routes are fun and it's worth taking them all. Not just for children, but child friendly. Also very nice to support local small attractions.
G.Lovely miniature railway. The kids had lots of fun - age 6 and 9. There is plenty of parking and a cafe that sells drinks, snacks and ice cream. There are different routes and the train journey is about 5 minutes long.

T. L.My top recommendation for kids in Woking/Knaphill. About 1 to 2 hours of family fun experiencing the train rides (ride on rather than in!) and the station. Book early for the Santa train in December - A good way to get the kids excited.
R. F.Great little miniature railway run by volunteers. My 2 year old loved riding the trains. They do a lot of special days where other things are on at the same time - the only issue is parking as the car park fills up and there isn't anywhere else nearby that is suitable.

It's basically a miniature railway run by hobbyists with a variety of wonderfully maintained steam and diesel engines pulling carriages in an impeccably managed rural setting complete with a picnic area, green fields, woodland track and a large duck pond. There's old railway furniture throughout the site and track course, beehives and novelty ornaments including Snow White, a variety of teddy bears and stuffed chickens.
The site is open from May to September Sundays only 2pm to 5pm with occasional special events during that period and throughout the year including the Christmas "Santa Special".
Tickets are about £2.50 each for the "miler" ride and less for the "suburban" ride.
W. P.Great place to take young children who loves trains. Nice sit on small size trains driven along tracks that take you through nice wooded area with teddies and other toys to spot on the way round.
D. D.We had a great time here on the Santa experience. The journey was longer than others that we've tried and it was well thought out. A little expensive for adults though.
