K. P.This a park on the old workings of a pit. Lots of different trails going all around this place, to suit various abilities and fitness. The view from the top is awesome on a clear day, with a stone statue representing its mining history. A few benches doted around, some in good repair some not so great. Could do with a little t.l.c in place's but worth a visit, great place to walk with the dog's. If people could take their litter back dowm with them to the bins it would be even better.
K. R.Surprising amount of trails and paths, all in beautiful woodland with some fantastic views from the top. The miners sundial is nice, with benches, 360° views, and points of interest mapped out on the clock hour stones. Ample parking, easy to follow signposts, well maintained paths.
