We popped in with a mirror we wanted cutting down in length, they did it there and then, smoothed the edges and polished the glass. Fantastic service, very polite gentleman and would not accept any payment. Brilliant customer service.

Really good service from Kimberlite Glass. We had two panes of glass removed from a door frame and fanlight in our Edwardian property and replaced with Single Fleur Etched glass. Ed did a great job, firstly measuring up (old door and out of 'true') and then fitting the replacement glass a couple of days ago. It looks great and I was very impressed with the service offered. One very happy customer!

March 2021. I cannot fault the excellent service, professionalism and communication we received from Kimberlite. Even emails sent in the evening were responded to within a few hours. We had 10 windows fitted with secondary double glazing and it has made such a difference - no more dripping wet windows to wipe every morning and the previous 'no go' area in the window is now a lovely cosy place to watch the world go by! The noise reduction has been a bonus too; can't hear the traffic at all. The cost was very competitive and the fitting process efficient and trouble free. The chap readily cut the glass to size for me and I offered some money for his time. He said there was no charge! In fact he refused to take my money. Where else can you get service like that? I dont normally do reviews in fact this is my second in 2 years but these guys did a great job and the price was 30% less than i had been quoted by two other local companies .I have recently moved into York int an old property and the double garage (quite literally decades of junk and rubbish stored in there) , after cleaning it all out 3 skips later i discovered the back wall had three windows all of which had broken glass and the missus discovered some of the double glazed windows in the box sash at the rear of the house had blown out with moisture between the glass , not the most important jobs to be done when you have more important renovation works to be done , called a few companies and explained what we needed done , one company quoted over the phone without even coming to asses the work ????? go figure that one !!! Second company gave me a quote of one week to send a glazier out to price for the work which they true to work did ..........my partner and I have renovated 2 old Victorian houses before and these cheeky sods wanted the same price to repair 11 pains of glass (8 double gazed) as it would to replace the whole unit (Howarth timbers Box Sash English Heritage approved / Grade 2 Listed type) . My missus whilst going into the city spotted a glazing shop on her way in , turned out to be Kimberlite and she popped on her way back and they tole her they could come out at 7 ish after the shop closes as they had an order to complete , "yeah" i thought when she camE home to tell me , sure enough true to their word they appeared and had a good look and priced the job , verbal price and they could complete in 3 days ? Ok they are cheaper dso will lets give them a go ............... three days later the glazing was finished and they made a cracking job and left the work areas clean and glass free ( we have a french bulldog that has a nose like an anteater when it comes to being nosy ? excellent job for the price they quoted and they completed the works when they said they would which is more than the local builder has done the w ******r , left the house with walls knocked out and incomplete , i really really wish we could name and shame these shitesters ? credit due Kimberlite did a professional job without the obligatory "extra charges and no shows " ............. will use these guys again ...................

Absolutely brilliant service from Jake. I phoned up and ordered some fire resistant glass that he ordered for me. Unfortunately I measured the glass wrong so took it back to Jake and he cut it down to size for me straight away and didn’t charge me a penny.
