This man is brilliant! Amazing storytelling and kept us all entertained! I really can't rate this tour enough. Seriously, York you are a true gem! Everyone we meet are lovely and Dorian was really top notch and even took time to talk to us at the end. Thank you so much!

Looking for a great ghost tour of York then look no further. Dorian Deathly knows his stuff and really puts on a show. Was a great evening very friendly and enjoyable. Oh and he also accepts four legged friends too! 10/10 would tour again.

Dorian gave us a great first night in York when we joined his tour. He was highly engaging and personable, and the tour was full of humour and interesting tidbits. He was also so dog friendly and my little pug was enrapt by the walk and the tales.

Would have to be the best presenter for ghost tours in York. Crossed paths with a few of the others during our stay and none had the presence of Dorian. Always in character, making us laugh uncontrollably throughout whilst providing interesting tales of horror as we walked the streets. Glad we chose Dorian, definitely can’t go wrong!

Managed to book this tour last minute this evening and so glad i did. It was very informative and funny, and the spooky tales were delivered in such a way that you couldn't help but get drawn in to York's dark past. The tour guide was brilliant and got everyone involved - there was about 25 people on our tour but you always felt involved and could see and hear everything all the time. If you are staying in York, I would 100% recommend doing this tour. A really great way to spend an evening.

A truly entertaining piece of street theatre. Mr Deathly's tour takes you through some of the oldest parts of the city. Entertained by both funny and grizzly stories of the macabre. Well worth an evening out.

We did the tour on the 1st of September, and it was amazing. Incredibly interesting and very well delivered. Every story that was told just kept you wanting more. I love the darker side of history so this was spot on. The only thing is I didn't get time to have a chat! But on my next visit I will be sure to make time. Highly recommended!

Informative, fascinating and very entertaining. Dorian brings the bleak past to life with tales of death, supernatural and tragedy. I’m disabled but found the pace and length of the tour okay to handle, however, please be aware, the tour visits and takes you through narrow, cobbled streets. Highly recommended

One of the best walking tours we've ever been on. The drama and theatricality that Dorian brings to the performance is engaging from start to finish. Despite the terrible weather, I would happily have followed this man around the city all night listening to his grisly and darkly humorous tales. Highly recommended to anyone visiting York.

A fantastically funny, family-friendly tour of the gruesome horrible histories of York! We loved every second, even though our 2 year old tried scaring York’s finest spookologist, Dorian took her in his stride and incorporated her into his stories! Absolutely amazing!! If you’re ever in York, make sure this tour is on your to-do list!!

Where to start! Absolutley brill! Not just a typical ghost tour, the guide was clearly a pro! Whether you believe in ghosties and ghoolies is up to you but either way, Mr Deathly was entertaining feom start to finish! captivating, funny spooky and there was one particular story near the childrens work house that had me forgetting i was in the modern day and hanging on his every word I can even attest to them being dog friendly as millie dog was more than welcome for an evenings ghost hunting. No ghosts seen but jeez those dolls were enough to give me nightmares!

I wish there was more stars to rate! Absolutely fantastic! Its been half an hour since we have come back from the walk and im already writting this review! Not just telling ghost stories but actually history about York with his own comical spin on it. ive done "ghost walks" before and found them to be cringeworthy and over the top. This not 1 bit, will come back again and again anytime i come to York and will strongly advise anyone i know to do to the same!
