D. B.Love it here, you get a decent walk, benches to have a picnic, park for the kids. It has decent car park with EV charging point and a place to stop and have a coffee too! Worth wearing decent footwear/wellies if it has been wet!
C. R.Arrived about 11:00 am plenty of car parking.
Walked from Forest centre to the view point at foot of wind turbine. Beautiful view of the lake from there we followed the lakeside pathway and found a nice secluded spot by the waters edge.
Had a lovely picnic spent an hour or so reading a book and admiring the view.
Strolled back to the forest centre and finished the day with a cream tea for two. Great day out thoroughly enjoyed it. Left around 15:00.

Very big indoor café & benches outdoor too - right next to a children’s play area with climbing frame etc. There’s also a gift shop & ice cream freezer.
The walks around the lakes are nice but you can’t actually see the water which is a real shame, it’s fenced off which probably makes it safer but you can only see the wooden fence & reeds. Still a nice walk & some nice woodland though!
Car park £2 for 3 hours.
E. S.We visit this free park/walk about once a month. They often have events and children's activities on but the walk around the lake is in itself already very pleasant. Add on to that a secret garden, all the wildlife, ample paid parking, a playground out the back of a very nice café/information centre and a bird sanctuary (that you do pay for but it's worth it), it's really one of our favourite places to hang out.
S. H.ATTENTION! MARSTON VALE FOREST CENTRE DO WEDDINGS!!
We hired the Rectory room for our wedding ceremony and it was perfect! The organisation by Helen Murray was excellent from start to finish, making sure we knew what would happen and when and keeping our guests topped up with drink after the ceremony. The area just outside the room is closed off to the public and the parking machines are turned off so its a brilliant place for a wedding. The venue itself is amazing, with many photo opportunities around the site in the gardens and woodland. We only had our ceremony there but we would highly recommend this venue for the full wedding package. And the price is very reasonable too!

H. B.A good sized forest park to spend your day walking or relaxing. The park has a good cafe, restroom facilities and parking space aplenty. A good destination for anyone who enjoys walks and likes to connect with nature.
I. W.Great area for all the family to enjoy. Double circular walk taking in Stewartby Lake and the Timberland Trail took 100 minutes including a few photo stops. Perfect for walking running and cycling and not overly strenuous as it's mostly on the flat. Cafe and cycle hire on site too, and car park very reasonably priced which is a bonus these days.
