G.Great place for a leisurely walk with your loved ones, dog friendly and plenty of wildlife including ducks, a variety of native bird species and even fresh water fish. Often see anglers there on the water trying their luck!

We were paddle boarding from there and up river and it was so beautiful & peaceful.
P. C.This place is normally very busy and is hard to get parked. If you don't get a space it is a nightmare to get out of. People will stop randomly to get a space which doesn't help either. Parking in Mary Peters park and walking down may be a better option.
R. S.Free parking. There were spaces the day I went. Not really the car park's fault but the Mr Creamy ice cream van had a poor selection, other than ice cream - no Magnums, no Festivals, no plain orange lollies.
J. L.Very crowded and difficult to find a space. Not helped by a lack of courtesy being shown by other drivers. This said a beautiful place to walk on a crisp autumn morning. The views along the river are spectacular. Not a physically demanding walk given the good surface and no hills.

Main car park has a child's play area probably get about 30 cars in it.
