Easy to find and booking was confirmed quickly on arrival. Directed to a parking space with clear parking instructions. I was assisted with my luggage from the car to the bus which was filled and ready to go. Upon my return a bus was ready and waiting so I had absolutely no wait time for either trip. Drivers were friendly and gave instructions for pick up and drop off (even if you already know, a reminder is so reassuring). 100% positive experience and will definitely use again

Good, friendly bus service to the airport. We parked in the Yellow zone which was without tarmac - was just crushed stone/rubble. It was wet and a bit muddy when we arrived there on Wednesday. When we got back on Sunday the ground was dry but the car was covered in thick stone dust. The ground was very uncomfortable to walk on. There was no signage in the Yellow zone where we were so we had to drive around until we finally found signs directing us to the exit.

Delighted with the fab service received recently: only parked from Wednesday morning until Friday evening, but the staff were unfailingly friendly and polite (as well, of course, as efficient!). Will be booking with ShortRun once more in September, and have the utmost faith that all will be well again.

Good for a convenient 5mins transfer to the airport for which you pay the price for. Expect to come back to a filthy car due to the surfacing (or lack of). Clearly is used by many as it was full and can't fault it apart from the state of the car upon return

I was reluctant to use Short Run after reading a few bad reviews...however, I did and cannot fault them at all. It was easy to find...well, would have been if NEC hadn't closed the access gate to that road and put no directions but with a little help I found my way. I was met on arrival by a lovely man who showed me where to park and wait on bus. The bus left within 10 minutes. On return, I phoned and the bus was on its way, my wait was about 5 mins. 5 star all round....brilliant!

Cheap, and the car was undamaged which was a first for me with these kind of services. Self park much preferable to other places that will joyride your car. Return journey was fine. However, arrival was stressful as hell. The bus transfer is marketed as a 5 minute transfer, running 24/7 on demand, so expected a maximum of 20 minutes or so wait if the bus had left for the terminal just as we'd arrived. In the end it was 50 minutes, which combined with the hour delay from our journey, meant I was literally dragging a 5 and 4 year old at a run across the airport so we didn't miss check-in. Also there was no record of the booking, which had been made weeks before and for which I had email confirmation and a code, which thankfully didn't cause an issue but could well have done

Was easy to do. Had a short wait of a few minutes until the shuttle arrived then straight to the airport. Got to the bus stop just as the shuttle was arriving on the way back too so didn't have to ring for one either. Kind and friendly staff

Used on our trip to Rhodes. Easy to find and about 8 mins from departures at Birmingham airport. Swift pick up on return, needed it, 13c in the UK. Left car there 10 days, £35. Will use again.

entered the car park no issues, given clear directions and a ticket were directed to the parking place ,The bus was waiting John Mcree and Graham what a surprise this they both directed me to a different park spot as the one allocated was very narrow then assisted with out cases never happened before to us drive to airport 5 minutes all passengers were helped with cases again On return the bus arrived in about 5 minutes again John on duty took our tickets helped load our cases drove us back to the parking and called each party when they were near their parking space we were last of John helped again with cases Well what a surprise the customer care provided by John and Graham was superb the parking was good the drive to airport is 5 minutes depending on traffic I suppose the bus turned up promptly Would recommend this company well done XX

Car park was hard to find, sat nav just kept sending us round in circles. Probably best to put in the postcode for the Premier Inn, which is directly opposite. Once we had found it, it was relatively plain sailing. Staff were friendly and check in quick and efficient. We were directed to our parking area. Parking of some of the cars left it difficult to find a sufficient gap to park in, so spaces were tight. If our section of the car park was tarmac and bays marked, don't think it would be a problem. Transfer coach was waiting at the end of our row, once we had unloaded the car, so transfer to the airport was really quick. Upon return to the UK, we only had to wait approximately 10 minutes and the coach arrived. Transfer back to our car was quick. All in all, very pleased with the service we received and the price we paid. Would definitely use this Company again. They just need more signs on the main road, to show you where to go.

Locations are pretty good and priced reasonably. The parking surface can vary from nice tarmac to rough gravel so consider this if you have a car you value highly. Also, thought it was absolutely ridiculous that you could not bring coffee/hot drinks onto the shuttle bus and it doesn't even mention that anywhere. Still plenty to improve on.

One of the best Airport car parks we have used. Staff were polite and helpful. Parking space was decent size. Felt secure. Transfer almost immediate and quick. Return - waited only 5 mins, driver was cheery, polite and helpful.

Everything was simple to do and parking was much cheaper than at the airport. Only five minute bus ride to airport which is free of charge and drops you off right at the entrance.

Another 5*'s from me. Attendant on the security gate was polite and attentive, and our driver both ways (John) was equally friendly and courteous. Service ran smoothly from start to finish and the whole experience was pretty faultless. Our vehicle was unmarked on collection (we've had some bad experiences with other 'secure' airport parking services in the past - including the theft of our towing bracket), so we'll definitely be using again for upcoming trips from BHX. Regarding the damaged *designer suitcase* review, i'm guessing the unfortunate owner doesn't really travel that much? If one is seriously expecting a 'suitcase' (i.e. the container that helps protect your stuff from getting trashed whilst travelling) to remain immaculately unmarked after the rigors of baggage handling/luggage carousels/airport transfers, etc - I'd suggest a simple solution of purchasing a larger non-designer suitcase to put your delicate designer suitcase in for future trips...... ( - you're welcome!).

Pros: (1) Price: Not cheap - but better than all the other rip-offs around there (2) You get to keep your keys Cons: (1) Rubbish booking system. I booked & paid on the internet, but upon arrival at car park prior to departure, booking could not be traced. However, friendly staff let me in and made a "manual entry" on some record, then gave me a hand-written card to present to the bus driver at the airport upon my return. Upon returning from holiday, both booking reference and car registration not recognized by bus driver - but he let me board on the basis that he recognised the hand-written card I represented :-) (2) Hard to locate car park. Got lost despite using both Google maps & Satnav

Only 3-stars (2* for the condition of the car park itself, but 4* for the service). As others have pointed out, since months back, the place where we had to park our car, which is an extension of the original car park (which was made with asphalt or concrete) was on gravel and uneven surface and since it rained the night before, it was muddy. Luckily, we only had hand carriers so we simply carried the bags to the nearest Bus Stop (where you wait for the mini-bus to come and pick you up). But if I was travelling with a full-size suitcase I wouldn't recommend using this car park, as it would have been impossible to drag a 23-kg suitcase on muddy, gravel ground. But the staff and service itself were great. The driver that took us to the airport on departure was polite and easy to chat with and helped with loading/unloading the bags. Upon return, our flight was delayed for 30 mins and we arrived back at B'ham airport after midnight and as advertised a bus came to pick us up after waiting for about 10 mins. NOTE: Make sure to keep the paper receipt that they gives you when you first arrived at the car park to park the car. The receipt has a bar-code which the driver at pickup needs to scan to complete the booking, and to let you back on the bus to take you to the car park. Overall, it was a nice experience, but I would have to consider using them again, if I'll be travelling with a suitcase, due to the condition of the parking area.

Good car park, good staff and all works well. But be warned, on leaving late at night the roads around the car park are used as a race track by local kids. Cars everywhere, blocking the road and access to the roundabout. It’s very intimidating and they drive like idiots and disregard other road users. I had do dodge 3 potential accidents just getting out of the area.

Parked up, keep your keys on you, bus picks you up in your area, 5 minutes to the airport at departures, bus literally 5 minutes at pick up on our return. Fantastic service will definitely be using this again

The most excellent treatment from the moment you enter their parking facilities. My car stayed there for 2 weeks and when I returned, the car was in perfect conditions. Price/quality ratio is awesome.

Good use of technology, had all details upon entry (unlike the Mackadown Ln one) - simply scanned the ticket for return. Pretty quick and effective. Only thing to watch out for is their parking grounds: it's just waste ground in a terrible state of disrepair, very heavily pitted which capture large pockets of muddy rainwater and makes for a bumpy ride (even the minibus slows right down because of the poor road state). Low-slung card, those with weak suspensions or carrying frail passengers may want to beware!

Fantastic service I guess from the point of view of proximity to the airport and convenience. Easy system and good value.... HOWEVER... the car park is a rough, uneven, unsurfaced space full of potholes and if its been raining it turns into a muddy field. Advice - take some wellies if its been raining..!!!

First time using this service and given the bad publicity other airport parking services have had I was quite nervous about using it - particularly as the cost was so reasonable. but I needn't have worried. On arrival I was greeted pomitely and cheerfully and directed towards where to park. The transfer bus was waiting and again the driver was polite friendly and cheerful and advised everyone where to pick up tbe coach on return and to be sure to keep our receipt careful for the return journey. . On my return the coach was waiting where we had been told and again I was greeted witb a friebdly hello and I was amazed tbe driver was not only one of the members if staff who had met me at 0500 that morning but that he remembered me. I asked if he'd been working all day and he assured me he had been home and had a sleep. He waited patiently for the other passe gers and was cheerful and pleasant with everyone whilst remaining professional. He dropped us back where we had been picked up and told us to take care and that he hoped to see us again. It's refreshing to find a company and aervice which does what it says on the box. I have no hesitation in recommending ShortRun by Airparks to anyone travelling from Birmingham International Airport. The only suggestion I wouls make is to suggest oeople use tbe Premiere Inn as a SatNav location and tell tbem the car park is just opposite which is what I did.

The Kindest and most Helpful Car Park attendant I have ever met, this guy went well above Customer Service to help spring a surprise on my daughter and grandson who arrived back to the Short Run car park from abroad, if there could be a reward for duty recognition for outstanding Customer Service it should be awarded to Andy Cortez who is a true ambassador for Airparks, I cannot speak too highly of this gentleman.
