M. B.A quiet place even in lockdown. Lovely pair of herons and other wildlife down the wetland area, playfields and playground, nice long gentle slope for sledging.

P. M.Birmingham Moseley Rugby Club is well known + yet well hidden amongst the treasures of Brum.
Season runs from Sept to approx end April.
A family orientated place with a great atmosphere for everyone whether a season ticket holder or visitor.
Throughout the year, the Reddings suite can be hired whether for a corporate event, wedding , gig - the choice is endless.
Moseley Supporters Association also run charity events throughout the year.
D. M.Lovely walk for dogs. Only three stars as the far end of the park, away from the carpark, is overlooked by derelict high rise blocks which spoils the outlook. Also quite a lot of litter around the park and some broken glass on the actual carpark itself.

M. R. (.Great for all the family from young to old. Good outdoor space for walking (from relaxing to power walking, and for jogging or running!) & for more static exercising outdoors. The Common has several access points. There's a small wetland area, a woodland area & the path passes by/over the river & there's a small childrens playground. It would benefit from the "perimeter path" actually going around the whole perimeter as wet weather makes for muddy walks down one side! Additional seating would also be useful & would allow our less mobile citizens to use the facility more easily. Overall its a great City resource - let's maximise it!

H.Good ground, went to Charity Football,Match ,for a Security guards,Fundraiser who was well,lived by alot of Colleagues, in Maypole, nmNice artificial Grass and nice and clean to sit on,too watch Charity Match In Mark's Security Guards,Memory, there is other Grounds,there for others Match Spaces ,so more activities on,one nice,so Good.
A. S.Big open field..Peaceful, spacious and surrounded by beautiful trees. There's a leceister nearby with tennis courts and a gym. AstroTurf Court for football and also a Rugby Club. Great place for a Family Picnic or if u want a quiet route for a jog or exercise. Beautiful

S. B.Bilsley common has recently been upgraded to contain wheelchair accessible pathways, we have seen herons and a wide range of insects but most of all we love the work out equiptment up the hill.
S. W.Lovely park to observe nature. Good playground but a bit exposed on windy days. Lots of bird & pondlife, if pond dipping please remember water safety & to return critters where they were found.
S. E.Nice place for a walk or picnic. Not too many people about so easy to maintain distance and still enjoy the outdoors whilst still in pandemic situation.

H. C. M. A.Community feel at this rugby club. The club was founded the in 1873 and has lots of history. All are made to feel welcome. Atmosphere is buzzing particularly on 1st team match days. Current coaching setup had brought harmony with all the other teams.
Bar is open for business every day with limited food availablity. Beer and drink prices are reasonable and all the profit is fed back into the club. The volunteers help out where possible to keep the expenditure/outgoing to minimum.

A.I have been around this Common for may years now and will tell you what it was like when I was a little child playing on here?
The Common was once home to as many as 12 football pitches, 6 cricket squares and over 12 tennis courts the tennis courts was near the building near the now council tennis building these courts was grass ones and you paid in the building there. The bottom of the Common was once a flat grass area not like it is now and the small brook which runs though the Common was great to paddle in as it was fairly clean , you could also catch tiddlers (small fish) and frogs.!
The place is still kept fairly litter free by the park keeper there and if you do see him walking around with his litter bag picking the rubbish up say hi and he'll give you a brief history of the place, as you know Moseley Rugby now are stationed there and they are doing some improvements to the place as Stirchly Bowels are going there in the near future and they will develop the whole place in the next couple of years (well I think they are anyway) so enjoy the place as I have for many years.
