Reviews of Edgbaston Street Car Park

Easy to get to from Bristol Road in the car and once parked up, just a short walk (via a lift and stairs) to the city centre shops. Although anyone could access the car park, it seemed fairly safe (nice and light etc). One star knocked off because the price (£12 for approx 7 hours) seemed a bit steep.

Handy car park in the city centre of Birmingham very close to everything you could need including New Street train station which is a 3 minute walk. Secure car park with plenty of security cameras watched 24hrs a day. Easy to use machines and ample parking space.

Good car park with plenty of spare spaces on the upper floors (I went straight up to level 3). Generous size spaces so don't need to cram into a tiny space. Clean lifts. No issues at all with ticket machine. Just a couple mins walk to the shops. Would park here again

I always use this car park or dudley street car park, most of the prices are roughly the same, its by market, bull ring and Chinatown.. very convenient for food, shopping, theatre .
The car-park is spacious, just beware with weekend evenings, its packed.

It’s ok, price is quite expensive, but compared to NCP nearby, it’s nearly half the price of that carpark! Spaces are a decent size.

Travelling around Birmingham City centre is a beautiful and amazing place, so many great spots to relax and chill, but whilst doing so you come across some amazing art work, dotted all around the city, I took the at the back of the bullring, was a amazing spot, it's next to the underpass on the right, it's a car park but inside has some amazing art work locations, highly recommended going here and having a look if you are in the area.

Nice carpark big on inside also peaceful place to skate not so happy with drunk drivers tho

Nice and centrally located, tons of parking spaces available on many floors, open til 00:00 which is nice if you’re out for dinner, however the only negative I can think of is that the hand sanitiser dispensers are always empty and never refilled! I have visited at all hours of the day and have never found any sanitiser in any dispenser.

A1 Excellent Car Park. Great location, highly recommended

Very convenient spacious place to park fish market meat market all indoor market is just right below no need of getting out all shopping inside

Excellent city centre car park. Very near to everything. Very good access. The parking bays are very generous, so if you have a larger vehicle, such as a 4x4 or a people carrier , parking is easy. Also plenty of room for door opening. It is also bright and clean, with lots of security cameras everywhere. Highly recommended .

As carparks go it's fairly clean and tidy, nice central location and nice and close to the bullring for shopping. It's above the market so entrance does smell a lot but nothing you can do above a fish market. Lifts always working and stairs clean. Only issue you will have is exiting due to the poor layout of roads around there. Be prepared to spend possibly an hour getting out of the city on a weekend.

I used this car park for a recent performance at the Hippodrome. It's ideally located and for only £3 after 5pm is excellent value for money. It's clean well lit and well maintained. The spaces are large and the roadway isn't obscured by pillars. Will definitely use again of I'm in area. Just beware it closes midnight.

Reasonable price for parking, big enough spaces, handy for the shopping centre.

Love this car park. Perfect location for bull ring it’s neat and clean and very safe. Parking is spacious. 2 nd floor ticket machine is broken 9 out of 10 times so something to keep in mind
C. G.
Decent city centre car park. Not too expensive rates and the access is good.

Nice car park located opp to debenhams Birmingham. Pros ( ideal for parking near to bullring, cons ( horrible smell of raw meat as the fish market on lower level. The minute you stepout from your car be prepared to get hit by big nasty smell. But over all an easy to hop on and off for city shopping spree with nice clean lift.

Easy to find city centre parking with decent sized bays. Modern multi story that doesn’t leave you worried about bashing the car on right corners. A little pricey but I guess thats payoff for convenience.
d. C.
Always a parking space. £2.50 for up to 1 hour and £5 plus thereafter. Its convenient if your just doing a quick market shop as its above the market.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
This is a secure car park, across the road (walking distance from) the back of Debenhams, Sports Direct, New Look etc and leads you straight towards the Birmingham Markets in Digbeth and also Chinatown. Grand Central, New Street and the Bullring are all within walking distance from here. Entrance and Exit is actually from Dudley Street.
VALUE & CUSTOMER SERVICE:
You may find this car park pricey if staying more than a couple of hours but it is situated in the middle of a retail location, is monitored by CCTV and has customer service via the intercom phone. If you require face-to-face customer service, you can go to the Bullring customer service desk on the top floor of the Bullring Shopping Centre (near Debenhams).
ACCESS & HOW IT WORKS:
There is a stairway and also three lifts for access to and from the car park. Upon driving into the car park, you take your ticket, find your space, go wherever you need to and upon returning to the car park, you insert your card into the machine and then it gives you a fee based on the amount of time you have spent. Pay the fee and then insert the card upon exit for the barrier to be lifted up so you can drive out.
PROS:
*Great location
*Easy to use
*Has lifts and stairs
*If you've lost your wallet, you can visit customer services and pay next time - just keep your card and provide your details
*CCTV
*Parking cards have National Sea-Life Centre vouchers on the back of them
CONS:
*Can be pricey
*Customer service/security staff can be rude - depends who you're dealing with
*Busy during peak hours

All near Bullring. Amid China Town. But expensive for overnight. 20 pounds. Closes over night and opens early in the morning. Ticket pay on each car park level but not in the main entrance.
