Loved this open space, great for dog walking, just resting up by the community cafe, great enclosed play area.
Velodrome which is amazing and a great skate park.
Plus an enclosed dog walking area🎉

Nice small park near a café, not much and all very spread out, good for little ones. Great big field and little one is obsessed with the skateboard area. There is a dog run with an obstacle course but there is always looks of dogs on the field too.

Lovely outdoor space to explore whatever your preference of scenery - from open fields to forest trails

Absolutely a great place to come with family there's a child's play park with is sectioned off with various equipment to play on, it's well know for dog walkers and even has its own fenced off area for dogs to play off the lead. The field is great to enjoy for a picnic, except for when the odd irresponsible dog owner comes along, which is more often than you would think! people let their dogs off the lead and have no control what's so ever over them, spoiling it for others. But in general it is lovely to come for a walk as it's free all year road and it has a great coffee shop/snack building with hot and cold snacks. It also has a skate park and a velodrome and a community building with various activities

Really like this area, me and my mate just sat in the field watching a cricket game, the skaters nearby and any dogs that came sniffing us. I'm excited to host a big picnic here as this field is huge! Plus I saw a kids park and a dog specific park with a fence and little dog obstacle things so adorable. Also on a sunny day it's a really nice walk or skate.

Lovely little cafe, when someone is there. Otherwise it's a great space for children and dogs there's an enclosed play area and separate enclosed dog park too. Velodrome and small skate park. Plus plenty of space to runaround or have a picnic.

Tucked away behind a housing estate you wouldn't know this fab cycle track existed. Never busy a great place to try out bikes, scooters and other ride on items.

I visit Slades Farm park every day to dog walk my elderly Golden Retriever. The park is adjacent to a wooded area, but has a criss cross amount of tarmac laid pathways, around the perimeters and through the central area where there is a Velodrome for recreation and organized cycle training and racing. It also has a path around the fenced banked track of the velodrome, good for walking but entertaining on race and training days when it is restricted ONLY to organized groups with Trainers. There is also a Cafe open, currently, 7 days a week.
This is a very nice area for recreation, but can at times attract electric scooters (privately owned), that tend to run faster than intended, and so you should be aware of this as there is very little consideration by the users for other pathway users on foot and also those with animal pets exercising.
This is reducing, but still present on occasions, but should not put you off using this excellent facility. If you are a football fan, there is Slades 3D soccer pitches, again an organized setup, and for Cricket fans, there is usually an organised match at weekends, again very entertaining.
Try it, the people are generally very friendly and helpful who use the park and it is a pleasant walking, play area for children with slides, swings, zip line etc, and there is also a dedicated dog area with training obstacles for them. Happy Walking.

Not a lot of farming going on here for a while by the looks of it.
Well equipped park though with skate park, velodrome which is free to use most the time. Various sport pitches and plenty of space for dogs.

Slides Farm Glamping side was one of the best experiences I've had in the UK. Worth the money, comfortable and quiet, very friendly owner (Sarah), happy to help and easy to contact. He area was great too. Plants of free walks and amazing places just driving distance away from this piece of Heaven.
You can visit White Horse, Lacock Village and Stonehenge as well as many more depending on how many days you've got in the area. Recommend the glamping side specially for couples as chalets are not too big to have a small child there.
However, there is an b&b side where I assume you will be better suited with children.
