It’s a small gravel car park but the view is incredible, especially in the evening with the sunsets. You have to pay for parking and it takes a while to pay as the machine is card payments. It’s really busy so make sure you get there early evening for the sunsets about 6.30pm or earlier in the summer

The views are spectacular. There are lots of walks in the area including the coastal path and local pathways.

We parked down in the main car park which is free out of season. This beach road one is pay and display. Parked here in lockdown. Had terrifying walk along the cliff park. Spectacular views though

The car park at the beach is closed so you can only park at the top and walk down. Parking is,shall we say challenging at the moment . The beach was relatively quiet and quite stunning.

It's a open car park. Good base for coastal walks

Great views from the top. Short downhill walk to Southerndown beach on the left or longer walk along the cliff tops to Ogmore on the right. Perfect👍

Great veiw across the Bristol Channel, lush green grass on other side of fence, there are a couple of seat to sit and enjoy the veiw, car pack clean and easy access

Big, cheap car park, easy to access and right next to the beach - make sure you find the pay machines to avoid a fine! They're not very easy to spot but are there. Spaces big enough to fit my mother's large disability car but not sure if there are designated disabled spaces. There is a yellow ice cream van in one of the car parks so keep a look out 😉

Lovely spot, and a good place to start a costs walk. 6.50 ifvyou stay more than an hour. (Turns out its only 3.50 at the bottom of years hill)

A beautiful part of Wales that is great for a day out for picnics, walking and swimming. The shoreline is rocky for the most part with the chance of finding fossils in the rocks, great for exploring.

Beautiful location, lovely cliffside walk down to the beach. £6 parking fee if you stay more than an hour. I don't know if this is seasonal but for someone on a low income that is mad. £2 ok, but £6! Yet another example of every tiny pleasure in life being taxed. That being said it is a great location and for a group of people staying a while it is ok value. There are gardens as well that can be visited which are somewhat dilapidated. Be careful on the beach as there are lots of pebbles which have to be crossed before you reach sand.

We parked the car, got out and went for a walk. Then we came back, got in the car and drove away. Bit hard to review a car park really, it did what it said on the tin though. Would park here again if I was on the area and needed somewhere to park. That's all I can say.

It's just a car park but if you drive a little further, there's parking much closer to the beach, with much less hill climbing involved... and it's cheaper than the council car park at the top of the hill.

Stunning views across the Bristol Channel but can get a bit windy. In addition stay away from the cliffs if your having a walk around....they are very dangerous !!!
