Lovely sunny Sunday morning, restaurant about half full. Great service plenty of menu choice from snacks to plated meals can sit inside or outside. Great sea view. Good service.

Good place to start a journey, friendly staff, good platform store with all you would need along with a warm clean waiting area. Trains for both west and east with direct travel for good access to all uk network

I haven't been to Bridgend train station for quite some time, but hey the hospitality from the staff was amazing! The friendliness station ever.

Bridgend train station is easily accessible for all users. With an array of CCTV cameras and being a well lit station, service users can rest assured that their safety is taken care of. The is a few ticket buying facilities here with a modern footbridge equipped with wheelchair friendly lifts. Taxis are available at the front of the station. Caution should be taken due to some trains travelling through the station without stopping.

Staff were very helpful, I am a wheelchair user and they had the ramp ready for me to get onto my train and promptly phoned London Paddington to ensure they had a ramp ready too. When I was getting the train back there later that day, there was a member of staff on the platform to get me off the train as soon as the doors opened.

It was an OK station with good facilities such as toilets, a ticket office and shops. Step free access to the Swansea and Barry lines is provided via a footbridge with lifts and trains seem to be consistent enough, if not, short formed form time to time.

Toilets which my partner said were spotless, departure boards, all weather cover, lifts, coffee shop that I think has magazines on sale etc. Ticket office. Car park that u have to pay for. Nice glass window sided bridge offering a good view of the tracks if u want to see trains coming and going. Close to town as far as I can tell.

The most overpriced station cafe in Wales prohibitively so for casual travelers. on the plus side i just experienced the best customer service ever. a woman station guard whom i could not be more grateful to.

It’s a nice station. Simple to navigate. Just eastbound (platform 2) or westbound (platform 1). The cafe is okay, but can be a bit sticky depending on what the previous travellers’ behaviour is like. Toilets available but I’ve never used them. Easy to hail a taxi outside. Car park is NCP so expect highway robbery to park in cramped spaces on poorly maintained tarmac. They claim there is a “free waiting space” but don’t believe them. It is NEVER available. Park in one of the more reasonable council car parks nearby and walk the 5 minutes. Leave the NCP “car park” to the Audi drivers.

I just love Bridgend train station.it has beautiful sunsets and the trains pass bye with out a making a single sound.everyone just moves out of your way as you walk and not a single person asked me for spare change.ITS A PLACE YOU HAVE TO VISIT BEFORE YOU DIE!

I used to go here to meet my ex Jason Simper in 1997 to see him off when I used to travel a long way to see him. The bridge has memories for me kissing him goodbye with tears on a Saturday and the last train back to London was so early 6pm!
