The only disappointment is that the toilets close pretty early!
Carpark fills up pretty quickly and reasonably priced.

The beach is cover in stones so walking on the shore can be challenging to say the least. It's dog friendly throughout the year
S.This is a great place to visit for a stroll along the beach when the tide is at its lowest. Pay for parking. It is also possible to walk along the cliff top on the public path, towards Southerndown, another pleasant stroll with great views across the water towards England.

m. l.Found this a lovely spot ,easy parking for a fun day out by the sea.A fairly straightforward walk to Ogmore castle along a pretty Riverside bank.It costs £6 for the day,which is ok,but if you don't want to spend the day,but just a few hours,that's a bit steep maybe.An hour is a quid,but nothing priced in between.

J. W.Expensive if you pay for more than an hour in one go. The trick is to pay for just one hour and return to pay for a second hour at just £1 per hour rather than pay £6 for more than an hour. Don't forget that legally you have a 10 minute grace period when your time is up. You're unlikely to stay more than two hours as there's nothing there, just the beach.
K. N.Did not like the bollards on the entry/exit, as lights not working, unsure if bollard would rise when going out!!! Also parking charge hefty for winter season could do with a 2 to 3 hr charge, disappointing
s. b.Lovely beach. Visit a few times every week. New parking relies on camera recognition as you leave the car park. Gets super bust on summer weekends .

J.Large carpark. Not big enough to handle the number of users on busy days. Expect queues if there's a heatwave. But more than adequate on cloudy days.
W. P.Reasonably Attractive beach. Great coffee from a mobile kiosk (only in summer) loos as you would expect from a council facility. Plenty of parking spaces.

J. T.Crowded on the weekend but with such great views and lovely walking it's understandable. Unspoilt by tourism, don't come looking for shops and cafes but rather a good brisk walk or a picnic on a beach with a view. Take your litter home please and keep this a lovely unspoilt area for all to enjoy
C. M.Love this beach it has toilets there is normally a van that does coffee tea and snacks. It isn't commercialised beautiful and natural. Just as it should be great for families and dog walking.
It is very beautiful. Lots of sheep roaming free.
There are paths and a ramp that takes you to the beach.
The river winds it way to the sea.

M. D.love ogmore, used to be a very relaxing place to go, free parking helped. No panic to rush back with all the kids to put a new ticket on the car, but the new parking charges have changed it. They are excessive, especially as the parking areas havent changed at all, still rough ground, puts me off going
