Free parking which is great for walks in and around Sheepcote valley, but it is often busy / full. At least the enormous potholes have been filled in!

A free car park with immediate access to Sheepcote Valley Nature Reserve, which lies on the download adjacent to Brighton racecourse. Far reaching sea views. The car park surface is in a dreadful state. Huge potholes. It's a very popular car park with dog walkers and finding a spot can be tricky. It could do with being extended, to enable more residents to enjoy the downland and have access to green spaces within the city. If you are meeting up with a friend travelling by bus, there is a bus stop close to the car park. No facilities on site.

Bit breezy ,lots of walking area. You can see Brighton racecourse and surrounding landscape and a view out to sea Not far from woodingdean ,only a smallish carpark at the top

It's FREE! This is unheard of in Brighton. Great walk from here down to Ovingdean Beach. About and hour and half walk each way.
