Lovely playground. Lots of dogs - saw 3 different owners not pickup after their dogs but playground itself was clear of dog poo. Cafe wasn't open but it was January! Toilet open, floor covered in mud and toilet seat, I think children had been standing on the seat to reach the flush - it was a lever handle on a high cistern built for a chain BUT did have toilet paper, a light and did lock!

Lovely park to sit and chat in, walk your dog in , for the kids to play in. Cafe with great coffee and cakes, toilets. Tennis courts , loads of trees , planted borders, huge green area. Something for almost everyone!

Such a beautiful park and play area here. A large grass area with a path all around,plenty of space to play football, have a jog or a cycle. There is a play park including a sanded play area. There is also a beautiful little pond surrounded by lots of plants. The perfect setting for a warm summers day. Dogs allowed in the grassed area, but not allowed in the play park. Toilets onsite.

Our new home ground for under 13s football. Beautiful, well maintained ground with changing rooms, showers, full size goals. Pitch is nicely level and cut very well. The cafe, toilets and benches add to the utility and make the three hours on a saturday morning very pleasant indeed.

Great charity fireworks display! Was huge fun and only £5 entry fee! Fireworks were amazing! Food and fun glow kids toys stalls. NO alcohol, very family friendly. Babys & toddlers free! Easy parking. Great event!

A wonderful park, as a adult looking to relax, a sport fanatic or a family. It's very well kept and pleasant. There are about 8 tennis courts, ping pong tables, sand, a play park, fields and a quieter part to relax by the water. The play park is of a high standard with unusual play equipment such as a gymnastics pole or the tight rope and all the normal play equipment. The toilets are open until 3.30 so that's good to know.

Lovely little park for families and dog walkers. It's a 600 metre route around the park, so a few times round is good for daily exercise. Seasonal flowers appearing (daffodils and hellebores) - very cheering. Children seem to love the playground and the open space to run around. Only downside is that the path is too narrow for social distance, so it's best to wear wellies or walking boots to tackle the squelchy mud surrounding the paths!

The park is flat with a huge grassy area along with a toddler & elder 5year+ play area. It also has a path which stretches the entity of the park. It also has a large pond area surrounded by concrete walls & paved area. It has a small bushed area too. This park runs almost alongside the Cemetery. No car park but street parking is available at no cost. Has small refreshment stall too. No public toilets that I'm aware of.

There is also an ornamental fish-pool which has sadly fallen stagnant, surrounded by a former herb garden, which has been allowed to run wild and is now a haven for bees and foragers.

Lovely space for the kids, but I wish the food cabin was open better hours as it is rarely open when I'm there, and that the toilet was a nicer place to visit. I'm not even sure if the rest of that building is used. Theres a big space behind the building- sell off the library as it's a lovely building in prime space and build a new modern building to house a library, cafe, and toilet which could be open longer and encourage children to just pop into the library when they're at the park

Lovely open space for families that's dog friendly too. There's a fenced off area for smaller children. Strong gates with easy robust latches so that dogs can be safely let off their leads without escaping this entirely enclosed park. A nice cafe at one end near the childrens play area and seating around the edge of the park. It's an absolute delight. Just come along and see.

There are 2 play areas within the play park, storage but easy for between the two for kids who enjoy the challenge, or have younger siblings they need to spend time with. The central green is well maintained, and surprisingly clean despite being well used by dog walkers - a real credit to the users! There is a decent arrangement of flat path way around and through parts of the park, great for kids who've managed to sort their balance to practice on bikes, scooters or skates. There is also a distance marked route around the park for users to compete the measured section to measure their progress. Lovely for younger and older alike 😀 The park is let down by very poor toilets (if they're going to be there, make sure they're clean and usable) and the lack of suitable parking (though this is outside the parks control, it does make it difficult to use at times).

Love coming here with our young boys and their bikes. The park is flat and you can see the paths from the whole park, so we're comfortable letting them explore the park by themselves.

Great open space and there are plenty of newly re-surfaced tennis courts available to book on line at £5 per hour. Space to wander and a good children's area too. This really is an excellent municipal facility that's pleasing, clean, safe and fun for all the family.

Parking nearby on roadside. Great for walking dogs and bins provided to keep area clean. Also a quiet area next to the field with an attractive pond and rose bushes. I walk my little frenchie through this park (and the adjoining cemetery) every week it has a childrens playground with a sand play area, and a couple of ping pong tables ,tennis courts ,there is a small coffee shop selling ices,snacks and cold drinks and always a drink container for all the doggies that pass through the park...

Haven't been out latly with covid and illness,but canford park don't let you down, tennis courts, bowls venue, good childrens park area, trees and benches in memory of locals,a nature pool,large area for ball games and a cafe. Pleasant place to go .

A great park I frequented as a child and to which I now take my own children. Play area, tennis courts and wide open grass area with unobstructed views of the smalls. Good for kicking a ball around. There is also a cafe for hot drinks, snacks and ice cream in the summer. Toilets are available too. Only a few irresponsible dog owners to on occasion spoil the atmosphere not clearing up after their pooches.

Used the tennis courts at Canford Park in the rain this evening. Very good drainage and not slippery at all. Courts were in a very good state and the nets are in good condition. You must book with Westsport before you attend because the courts are fenced off with a security code.

I love this park,it has been a godsend this year .Disappointed today to see at least 5 football clubs playing on pitches next to each other.2metres apart ,no more than 6in a group meeting, Ha Ha .150 people, counting spectators, .hard for people like me, whohave very restricted lives since March to watch. No wonder there will be a second wave .So selfish.

Lots here. Plenty of green space, a hard track around the perimeter, tennis courts, a table tennis table (outdoor version but you need your own bats/balls) an outdoor cafe although I'm unsure of the opening hours and a decent playground for kids. The playground is split into 2 parts really, one for younger children and one area for the older kids. Sandpit, climbing frames, swings etc. Quite exposed so it can be cold when the weather's not very nice but a great park and just 5 mins or so into Westbury village.

Pretty and relaxing. Nice tea stall, but only outdoor seating. Only bad thing was the fish pond, really dirty murky water. Litter and an old tyre in it. Fountain turned off so no aeration. Surprised if there's any life in it, but did see signs of bubbles coming to the surface.

(Translated) I liked it because it has a large green space. The playground is large and has many attractions. You can go for a walk with the dog. It has a coffee shop which is open daily from 10.30am to 3.30pm. It has a very nice lake. Today the toilets were not working. (Original) M'ha agradat perquè té un espai gran de verd.
