A. L.The largest car park in Thornbury and it is FREE - it offers long and short term parking with restrictions (Monday to Saturday and no restrictions on Sundays and public holidays)
There are toilets near by (though these are closed on Sundays) and is close to the main shopping centre - the buses stop near here too

P. T.Just a car park! Quite large. Thornbury is quite well off with two car parks near the shops.

C. I.As long as you arrive at non peak times you'll find a space. They are a but outdated with not keeping up with car sizes, unaware that they are wider than forty years ago. Two hours limit for free, not bad but don't complain if you get a ticket and fine for overstaying... It's only fair !
C. K.A very large car park with loads of free parking. If you are not sure how long you will be in town go to the 'long stay' side and park for free.
M. C.Free. Different areas for short and long term parking. Small spaces - can be a squeeze to get out car dooor. Gets busy. Road direction markings take you right around car park to exit. Handy for town centre.
J. B.There are two areas: short term and long term. Both are free, but rhe short term spaces are time-limited. To reach the main street on foot, cross at the crossing and walk through the shops in the small mall-type area.
A.Thornbury shopping is so easy with the car parks where they are, very user friendly, the big car park has barriers (2m high) but the smaller car park does not, if you are in a van you might get lucky.
K. P.If you want long stay (over 2 hours), then make sure you park on the right hand side as you enter. Parking bays are a bit on the tight side. Can get full as it is very popular.
H. E.When every other council seeks to maximise car parks it was refreshing to park here. Had to ask five people to confirm it was a free car park, that’s how unusual this idea is.
